Tonight's first guest is Lee, calling from Newfoundland, who shares a close-range UFO encounter that took place during an Army Cadet summer training program in Nova Scotia. Maya Cowan is an Anthropology PhD candidate at Binghamton University preparing to defend her dissertation, Knowing the Unknown: the Epistemic Culture of UAP (Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena) Science. Her research focuses on how cultures of expertise are emerging within the growing scientific study of UAP, drawing from three years of ethnographic fieldwork conducted alongside UAP scientists and researchers.
