Watch on Philo! - Philo.tv/DTHMore flags. More royal music. It's Reluctant Royal time, baby! Johnny is under a car, working his magic, muscles bulging. His girlfriend shows up to have it out with him and find out if he's ready to take their relationship to the next level. He is not, so she breaks up with him. But then her car won't start. Johnny works his magic, and off she goes. After work, he heads to the bar, where he's selling his juice. The bartender isn't thrilled to be selling juice, but it's Johnny! Who can say no to Johnny?!Cut to a palace where Prudence is helping keep things running smoothly. She goes to talk to the Duke, who is wanting to retire but has no one to take his place. That is, until Prudence discovers that he has a long-lost son.So, she shows up to talk to that son. It's Johnny. She arrives in the middle of his karaoke performance and tells him that his father, the Duke, would like to meet him. He's not interested until she talks to his mom, who never really told him about his father. She encourages him to go and meet him, and so off he goes. Prudence is surprised when he shows up and begins to notice that he's a bit rough around the edges. He won't even change his clothes to abide by the dress code.They meet, and you can tell they're related because they both touch their hair when they're uncomfortable. Johnny tells the Duke that he doesn't want any money, he just wants to know why he left. This does not go well, so Johnny leaves and heads to a bar. Prudence tracks him down to try to convince him to stay. They agree to let darts decide his fate. Obviously, she wins, so back to the palace he goes.He starts hanging out with Prudence, riding bikes, getting to know more about the palace, his father, and learning more about her. They ride horses, he makes juice, and he's actually starting to enjoy himself. It's time for his first royal fancy dinner. He has a cousin that he really dislikes. So, when he stands up and tells the Duke that he's excited to take his spot, Johnny stands up and tells his dad that he's had a change of heart—he's in. His dad is thrilled.He's feeling a bit stressed, so he goes to work on a car. His dad comes out to join him, and they chat. This becomes a nightly occurrence. The next day, Prudence teaches him how to slow dance, and they almost kiss.He finally has a heart-to-heart with his dad. He finds out that he never received the letter that Johnny's mom sent telling him about Johnny. And she never got his letters. I guess his dad was monitoring the mail. It's a sweet moment, and the next day they go for a ride in the car that Johnny fixed. Johnny takes his dad to his juice operation and invites them all to the royal dance.Everything is going great until the cousin brings some shocking news: turns out Johnny's right to the throne is illegitimate because Johnny was born after the marriage to Johnny's mom was annulled. Johnny says, “Well, at least I got to meet my dad.” He goes to leave, and Prudence tries to stop him, but he leaves.Prudence isn't going to give up so easily and thinks she's found something. She goes to make sure Johnny comes to the ball, where his mom is waiting for him. She announces that the annulment certificate isn't authentic. The Duke is left-handed, and his signature leaves a smudge. This one doesn't have a smudge, so it's not his signature. In fact, the Duke and Johnny's mom are probably still married! The cousin is furious and leaves.Johnny and the Duke hug. Johnny gives a speech, and then he slow-dances with Prudence as everyone watches. They go outside, kiss—BIG OL' HONKIN' ONES—and then run away. The next day, Johnny and Prudence are hanging out by the horses. Dad comes in and lets them know that one of Johnny's other cousins, Desmond, is getting married, and they're going to give him a horse. Johnny still has much to learn about his family tree.

The Disneyland Resort website describes this attraction by saying: Celebrate Luigi's favorite holiday at the honkin'est dance party in Radiator Screams! Guests must be 32” or taller to ride this attraction and the Thrill Level calls it a Thrill Ride that is Loud with Spinning. Before we join Luigi and Guido for some spooky fun, here are five fast facts about Luigi's Honkin' Haul-O-Ween 1. Starting in 2017, Cars Land at Disney California Adventure got a spooky makeover for the Halloween Season. Radiator Springs becomes Radiator Screams. Several of the attractions got a holiday overlay including Luigi's Rollickin Roadsters which becomes Luigi's Honkin' Haul-O-Ween. 2. Luigi's Casa Della Tires gets a halloween makeover including the leaning tower of tires which sports hubcaps and treads that look like eyes and mouths. 3. Despite the overlay, the attraction retains it's ride time of approximately 2 minutes. 4. As of this episode's audio recording which was done in 2023, one of five different songs played while the cards were in motion. These are all parodies of traditional Italian songs given a spooky edge. They include: Honkin' Haul-O-Ween, Luigi the Hero, Haul-O-Ween Italiano, Chop Shop of Carsoli and Terror-Antella. 5. Disney released all the songs from the attraction in 2018 on an album called: Happy Haul-O-Ween from Cars Land: Spooky Songs From Mater and Luigi. This album is available on most music streaming platforms. Let's ride Luigi's Honkin' Haul-O-Ween. This week's guest, producer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Evan Taylor (Bernie Worrell Orchestra, Loantaka Records), brings us The Beach Boys' 21st studio album - and the last one under the group's name to be written and produced solely by troubled leader Brian Wilson - 'The Beach Boys Love You'. Released in 1977, this strange, at-times childlike collection of songs sounded like nothing else the band had done up until then. With raspier-than-usual vocals from the Wilson brothers and Brian's newfound infatuation with the Moog synthesizer, it left many fans/critics confused at the time but has since been recognized for presaging both synth-pop and new wave. This week Tom & Zeus review the 2003 "World Domination Tour" which featured KISS & Aerosmith. This is SIOL's 7th KISS tour reviewed. This tour was unique because it featured two of the premier hard rock bands from the United States of all time. Both bands were huge in the 1970's and both had major comebacks, Aerosmith in the 1980's and KISS in the 1990's. The tour also was known for Aerosmith insisting that at least three original members of KISS be in the band. With Ace Frehley definitely out of the picture, the original catman, Peter Criss returned to join Paul Stanley, Gene Simmons and the new spaceman, Tommy Thayer. The tour had KISS opening up and Aerosmith finishing. Some fans were disappointed because both legendary bands had to shorten their setlist too accommodate the other band. The band at this point was 5 years removed from their last album and would play a setlitst of mostly classic makeup hits. The tour was a success and Tom & Zeus did get to see the tour when they visited Mansfield, Massachusetts. As usual, the guys breakdown the costumes, stage, set list and overall tour. This week Tom & Zeus review the 2003 "World Domination Tour" which featured KISS & Aerosmith. This is SIOL's 7th KISS tour reviewed. This tour was unique because it featured two of the premier hard rock bands from the United States of all time. Both bands were huge in the 1970's and both had major comebacks, Aerosmith in the 1980's and KISS in the 1990's. The tour also was known for Aerosmith insisting that at least three original members of KISS be in the band. With Ace Frehley definitely out of the picture, the original catman, Peter Criss returned to join Paul Stanley, Gene Simmons and the new spaceman, Tommy Thayer. The tour had KISS opening up and Aerosmith finishing. Some fans were disappointed because both legendary bands had to shorten their setlist too accommodate the other band. The band at this point was 5 years removed from their last album and would play a setlitst of mostly classic makeup hits. The tour was a success and Tom & Zeus did get to see the tour when they visited Mansfield, Massachusetts. As usual, the guys breakdown the costumes, stage, set list and overall tour. They then rank the costumes, stage, set list and overall tour against the previous 6 tours reviewed so far. So tune and make sure to catch KISS and try to avoid Honkin' On Bobo. We lament questionable marketing for Aerosmith's Honkin' on Bobo and present our pitch for the Sabbat biopic. On June 10, 2022 the Orange County Comptroller recorded Disney Vacation Develpment's amendment to the Grand Floridian's Condominium Association, adding the remainder of the units in the Big Pine Key building. This move adds the remaining 101 villas and nearly 900,000 additional points to the program. The first Resort Studios are set to open on June 20. The rooms are currently available for reservations, with all Grand Floridian DVC owners able to book 11 months ahead of their desired arrival date and owners of other resorts eligible to book 7 months in advance. I'm a sucker for good music podcasts, and I have a great one to show you today. Late Era, brought to you by Osiris Media, is a podcast that looks at late-career albums from legendary artists. Hosts Andy Cush, Sam Sodomsky, and Winston Cook-Wilson are all staff writers at the online music publication Pitchfork, and all have deep knowledge and great chemistry when talking about these albums. Sodomsky in particular has an almost encyclopedic knowledge of these artists and their work. While they can get personal sometimes, most of their dialogue revolves around the music itself, which I find enjoyable. The albums they cover can range anywhere from hidden gems deep in an artist's discography or an absolute flop, both of which are fun to explore. Some episodes feature guests as well, ranging from comedians like Tim Heidecker and Gregg Turkington to musicians like Open Mike Eagle. Some great episodes to start out with are Jay-Z's Magna Carta Holy Grail, Aerosmith's Honkin' on Bobo, and Bob Dylan's Under the Red Sky. Each episode ranges from 50 minutes long to an hour and a half, and it does not need to be listened to in order. For anyone interested in music history, I could not recommend this podcast more. Content warning for some strong language and occasional drug references. Currently, the show seems to be on hiatus with the last episode coming out in July 2021, but there is a chance they could come back at some point. Similar podcasts include the 33 1/3rd podcast, 155, and the Album Year. Instead, the U.S. Coast Guard is the overseeing agency of the vessel. The owner of the barge would like to reopen for the 2021 Halloween season and recoup an estimated $60,000 in lost revenue due to the closure.A proposed haunted attraction in the Town of Wilson, New York is drawing criticism from area residents who are concerned about noise, traffic, and even "lasting psychological harm to their children". Corey Quinn, co-owner of the property which The Haunted Forest hopes to occupy in the Fall of 2021, intends to dispel misconceptions surrounding the agritainment event.
