Er denkt schnell und er redet schnell. Doch seine Ergebnisse beweisen, dass er weiß, was er tut und seine ansteckende Energie inspiriert andere, seine Impulse umzusetzen.   Mit 18 startete er seine erste Firma. Er betrachtete sie stets als Labor, in dem er profitable Experimente durchführte. Das Ziel war es, eine Methodik zu finden, die es ihm erlaubt, Geld zu verdienen, ohne selbstständig im Tagesgeschäft mitarbeiten zu müssen. Er erkannte schnell, dass die Erfolgsstrategien von Apple, Google oder Microsoft, die man überall nachlesen kann, im Mittelstand keine Relevanz haben und es andere, individuellere Ansätze erfordert, wenn Erfolg planbar werden soll. Mit seiner Firma durchbrach er die Millionen Umsatz Grenze und das in dem Jahr, wo er selbst non stop rumreiste, Vorträge und Coachings durchführte. Damit war der Beweis erbracht, dass die Mitarbeiter wirklich selbstständig gelernt haben, Ziele zu erreichen. Und das führte dazu, dass ein Investor Interesse an der Firma zeigte und das Unternehmen kaufte.   Philip Semmelroth löste sich früh von der weit verbreiteten Vorstellung, die eigene Firma als zentralen Sinn im eigenen Leben zu betrachten und veränderte sein Denken insoweit, als dass er ein Unternehmen nur noch als Instrument betrachtet. Denn tatsächlich liegt der zentrale Sinn und Zweck einer Organisation in seinen Augen nur darin, den darin arbeitenden Menschen zu helfen, ihre wirklichen Ziele im Leben zu erreichen.   Er führt durch Vorbild, glaubt nicht, dass man Mitarbeiter aktiv motivieren muss, ihre Arbeit zu tun, ist davon überzeugt, dass Vertrauen in andere, Abläufe beschleunigt und Prozesse und Standards auch in Dienstleistungsunternehmen Ergebnisse vorhersehbar machen. Er wirkt rastlos und scheint sich keine Sorgen um seine Altersvorsorge zu machen. Denn ein Leben ohne Aufgaben scheint für ihn nicht erstrebenswert zu sein. Seine Freunde und engeren Geschäftspartner gehen davon aus, dass er irgendwann im hohen Alter einfach tot umfallen wird, wenn er gerade mitten in einem Projekt steckt.   Dieser Mann ist Vieles, nur nicht langweilig. Darüber hinaus erscheint am 28.01.2021 sein Buch im Gabal Verlag, wo er ausführlich und detailliert schildert, welche Stellschrauben er gedreht hat, um dahin zu kommen, wo er seine Firma, die C&S – Computer und Service GmbH - profitabel verkaufen konnte.   Dein größter Fehler als Unternehmer?  Ich habe zu spät Personal eingestellt. Rückwirkend war meine Firma immer ein Labor. Ich habe Dinge getestet, um über Selbstversuche Wege zu finden, bessere Ergebnisse zu erreichen. Dabei ging es gar nicht nur um Geld, sondern auch darum, selbst bestimmt arbeiten zu können. Aus Angst vor dem Kostenrisiko habe ich zunächst auf Personal verzichtet, nur mit Kooperationspartnern zusammengearbeitet. Das würde ich in einer neuen Firma anders machen.   Deine Lieblings-Internet-Ressource?  Ich liebe Wikipedia. Ich bin fasziniert von Wissen und suche ständig Antworten, weil mein Kopf nicht müde wird, Fragen zu produzieren.
