Started off another hour beginning with a peak outdoors with our friend Steve Carney get the latest update on the bite with this warmer weekend in fishing and more Outdoors talk. Then we hit the ice, talking all things hockey with Jess Myers from The Rink Live from girls high school to PWHL to college hockey and even recap the Wild loss to Ottawa in Sweden. Then we have Jeff Fylling chime in for an update on Augustana football , we also have updates from Austin Legess, Kevin Reid and more as we give you an update on both the local and Top 25 scoreboard around college football.

We start off another hour with more college football updates. We start with Josh Deer recapping Concordia Saint Paul victory over U Mary as well as checking in with Kevin Reid recapping a tough loss from the Bemidji State Beavers to Minnesota State Mankato and Don Stoner checks in to recap the loss to Saint Johns. Jeff Fylling calls in to check in with Augustana defeating South Dakota today as well. Then we check in with Jonathan Lowe for the college football scores around the country. We also get score updates from Bethel and St. Scholastica as well.  We also talk about the Vikings as they take on Carolina tomorrow in Charlotte as they seek their first win of the 2023-24 season.

It's another college football Saturday and we jump right into it with score updates from around college football both locally and nationally with Jonathan Lowe. We check in with Tom Fredrick checking in from Sioux Falls after USF defeats Minot State 7-0 then we talk to Kevin Reid who covers Bemidji State as they defeat U Mary in Bismarck 41-10 and Augustana defeating MSU-Moorhead 31-27. We also talk to Ryan Klinkner, he recaps SJU 27-7 win over  Bethel  then finally, we head outdoors with Steve Carney to wrap it up on a Saturday.

Political editor Gary Adshead discusses his coverage of Kevin Reid's death at Rockingham Hospital and the questions hanging over the case. Plus the latest on Clough, Woodside Energy and unemployment data.

The operators of Rockingham General Hospital do not believe claims a man may have been sent to the morgue while he was still alive are true, saying senior doctors said what was noticed inside the man's body bag was not unusual. Hospital bosses will investigate whether death certificate procedures and protocols were followed after the death of 55-year-old Kevin Reid early last month but not whether he was alive when placed in a body bag and taken to the morgue. That is a matter for the coroner. South Metropolitan Health Service chief executive Paul Forden said the hospital was launching an investigation into why the death of Reid was dated September 6 on paperwork - the day after he was considered deceased by medical staff. Forden was responding to claims made by a doctor to the Coroner's Office, reported by WA Business News, that he found Reid inside the body bag on September 6 with limbs in positions different to how he had been left, a tear on his arm that had been bleeding and his eyes open despite them being closed before he was taken to the morgue.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

March 28th is Progressive MS Day. While only about 15% of the people diagnosed with MS are initially given a diagnosis of Primary Progressive MS, about 65% of the people who are diagnosed with relapsing-remitting MS will eventually develop Secondary Progressive MS. And the difference between progressive MS and relapsing-remitting MS is that, usually, people diagnosed with Progressive MS don't experience any remission in their disease progression. Their MS just seems to worsen more steadily over time.   And while we have more than a dozen approved disease-modifying therapies for relapsing-remitting MS, we have just one approved disease-modifying therapy for progressive MS. So using Progressive MS Day to highlight the need for more research, more treatments, and more attention to be paid to this less popular but more devastating MS sub-type is important.     My guest on the podcast is Kevin Reid, who was diagnosed with relapsing-remitting MS in 2002, and is now living with progressive MS. Kevin Reid is the Founder and CEO of the National Minority Trucking Association with over 21 years of sales, marketing and executive management experience within the transportation industry. The NMTA provides education, resources and strong representation to all truckers across North America, with its founding focus based on the representation and educating of minorities within the industry.
