It is here! It is time! Yep, we've loved, we've lost (mainly RDJ) and now we're on the other side of Season 4 - it only took us 3.5 years but we did it!! And what a rollercoaster ride that was. So, as is customary here at Bygones, we simply cannot move on to seasons new until we make time to hold space for everything we lived, laughed and lost over the course of this one. AND OF COURSE, we must determine who is the winner of this season's Verdict of the Week Leaderboard - everyone's (read: Laura-Jane's) favourite feature.

She is a business strategist who helps artists and handmade business owners turn their social media efforts into an engaged and loyal online following.   Tune in as Laura and I talk through why visibility as a small business owner is more essential than you think, how to establish trust with your following, and why the algorithm isn't your enemy.   For more about Laura Jane, go to: https://www.laurajanebarnes.com/ Or follow @heyitslaurajane   And if you're interested in making your own impact online, join the waitlist for Plenty right here: https://www.raydodd.co.uk/plenty     QUOTE 'When it comes to like artists and hand makers and stuff like that, I see a lot of “I don't want to be a content creator. I don't want to be a personal brand' … Well, you don't have to be, but your journey is going to be more difficult. Because the reason that someone buys from a small business owner over a huge company is that personal connection.'   'I think the other thing with showing up is that people assume that in order to be visible that you have to give up your privacy, and I don't think that's the case. It's not about letting strangers in, it's about letting yourself out.'   'This is the main piece with engagement that so many people are missing: you need to give people an opportunity to share themselves, their values, their opinions, their experiences, their preferences, because people want to talk about themselves…. Then you'll find that people actually start building friendships within your comment section.'

The husband and wife team have trialed different varieties of hemp on their farm to see what suited the growing conditions on the aptly-named Wild Atlantic Way. They process the flower of the plant to make cannabidiol (CBD) oil from their own hemp and that of other Irish farmers. This is an exciting listen about a group of farmers who are blazing the trail for a crop that could massively contribute to a greener planet. We also chat about the Hemp4Soil project, a Regenerative Farming Experiment in Loop Head in conjunction with ten local farmers, who were encouraged to grow an acre of hemp to see how hemp not only improves the overall quality of the soil and benefits local biodiversity, but could also provide sustainable income streams to the farmers in the future. And in a very exciting turn for our podcast, we have a special offer! This is one of Metro-Boston's most infamous murders. Richard Rosenthal was a successful financial analyst at John Hancock Insurance in Boston. He met Laura Jane at work and they later married. The couple appeared to be living the American dream. But inside the home was another story, friends at work would later report, seeing Laura Jane with black eyes on at least two separate occasions. In retrospect she was the classic victim of on-going domestic abuse. In 1994 the duo had a baby boy who died quickly after being born, he had problems with his heart and lungs. Richard Rosenthal blamed his wife and seemingly could not move on, despite the arrival of a healthy baby girl. Richard, holding on to the death of his son, soon killed his wife, he eviscerated the woman he claimed to love. He removed some organs and placed them on a stake in the backyard, which organs were selected? Yes, Laura Jane's heart and lungs. Please be advised this episode contains extreme violence. This week, Kate sits down with author, podcast host and relationship coach, Laura-Jane Hand. Laura-Jane's high-pressure, high-stress corporate job was bringing her a good amount of money but left her with an empty feeling. She speaks to how you can be aware of projecting your problems and looking outwardly to find answers, searching for something to give you connection and she reminds you to stop, turn your attention inwards and move forward from a place of authenticity. The pair also talk about https://www.worldofbooks.com/en-gb/books/foundation-for-inner-peace/course-in-miracles/9780140190885?gclid=CjwKCAjwqIiFBhAHEiwANg9szoYW9-OqPXqHD7Y5Yh40eU_iapA37m3oET_bOfpvsKagVPeN3QhaZBoCDxQQAvD_BwE ("A Course In Miracles")  and the change it brought about in both of their lives and how it became the catalyst for Laura-jane's new book: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B08S2VRGRW (More Than A Mindset). We also talk about: The impact A Course in Miracles had on both Laura and Kate What the Course in Miracles lessons are about and what they can teach us How Laura's marriage problems helped her to recognise that she wanted to help others with their relationships How blame and putting our problems on others isn't the answer When we begin working on ourselves, others seem to naturally grow alongside with us Training our mind to not dwell on fear but to start by reaching for the next best thought How forgiveness is one of the most powerful choices we can make and why forgiveness alone can help heal our relationships Using new awareness in our relationship to prevent us from reacting from a state of fear How Laura was inspired to write her book - More than a Mindset to help others  Spirituality doesn't need to be too serious or time-consuming  - it's more about the intention we go with  Now, as a relationship coach, Laura-Jane is bringing a deeper sense of healing to couples allowing them to look beyond blaming one another or external situations and helping them to create more meaningful connections.   Kate Moryoussef is a Lifestyle & Wellbeing/EFT coach helping overwhelmed yet unfulfilled (many with ADHD like her) mothers find more calm, balance, health, passion, creativity and clarity in their lives. By using Emotional Freedom Technique (tapping) in her coaching practice, Kate guides more women to rediscover their inner voice, 'tap' into their expansive potential, fulfill their desires and realise themselves outside of the overwhelm, inner pressure and family dynamic. On Today's episode of The Happy Head Podcast I'm joined by Laura-Jane Hand. Laura-Jane is a Relationship Coach with difference." Having been in a relationship for 15 years, married for 7, experiencing intense business/career stress, 2 miscarriages and then a new baby to add in to the mix, it was clear to say life was strained and unfulfilled at times. Having spent years attracting the same type of relationship, wondering where all of the good men had gone, experiencing cheating and abuse, I then found ‘The One’ yet struggled to keep the connection alive throughout all of the stress, I spent thousands of pounds on traditional counselling only to be left even more confused, so I went on a search for more answers and meaning, travelling the world to find the best teachers. It was only when I found a different approach that EVERYTHING started to change. I’ve since worked with many couples helping them to bring the SPARK back into their relationships, gain clarity on the question “should they stay or should they leave” and enable them to experience a deeper connection within themselves and with their partner than ever before. "It’s like the Honeymoon period all over again, but better. Your host: Paul Wilson - https://www.facebook.com/paulWcoaching WHAT I DO: I help people with an alcohol problem get sober, stay sober and take back control of their lives. WHO I WORK WITH: I partner with business owners, executives, and those with high pressure targets. HOW IT WORKS: We start with a free strategy call. If we agree that we're a good fit, we'll diary three sessions, usually about a week apart. WHAT OTHERS SAY: "I’d been drinking alcohol on a regular basis for several decades, always thinking I’d stop one day. I heard about Paul’s work and decided to give it a try. What did I have to lose? After years of struggling with my issue, I was blown away with how easy it was to change. Paul has a calming, grounded energy and I immediately felt at ease in his presence. Despite the obvious apprehension prior to my first session, I was able to totally relax and be in the moment from the outset. The urge to drink alcohol literally disappeared overnight. There were a few fleeting moments where I thought about it briefly, but these soon faded once the change was embedded into my subconscious. The whole process took a mere 3 weeks, which I found astounding. I would thoroughly recommend Paul as a practitioner for making positive changes in your life. He was incredibly supportive during the process. I didn’t need any help between sessions, but he offers this as part of the service. At the end he even guided me through the methods I could use on myself for any other change work I wanted to do. I have tried this at home and it works. As a result, I feel empowered to create further change and steer ever closer to my life goals. Thank you Paul, you have changed my life for the better!"
