We've been doing this show for almost 7 years and we're finally doing series of episodes on that much maligned and much beloved genre… ‘70s rock! This week, we have classic interviews with the likes of Brad Delp, the phenomenal lead singer of Boston, who we lost far too soon.  Delp talks about his humble beginnings as well as the obsessive leader of the group, Tom Scholz. We also have some great clips from the Doobie Brothers.  One is from their mid-‘70s heyday, one is with Michael McDonald – and then we have Tom's 2018 conversation with guitarist Patrick Simmons.  And there's a very good reason you haven't heard this interview sooner… but it's an embarrassing one (for Tom)! Also, Ian Anderson from Jethro Tull talks about the very funny origin of the band's name and the story behind their first hit And we take care of business with one of the most popular bands in Canadian history - BTO! And Christopher talks about one of the greatest musical experiences of his life – and it happened just a few weeks ago!  Lost Words, hosted by Christopher Ward and Tom Jokic, is heard in more than 100 countries worldwide and on radio stations across Canada, including Newstalk 1010 Toronto, CJAD 800 Montreal, 580 CFRA Ottawa, AM 800 CKLW Windsor, 610 CKTB St Catharines, CFAX Victoria, AM1150 Kelowna and 91x in Belleville.  It is in the Top 20% of worldwide podcasts based on the number of listeners in the first week.

PATRICK SIMMONS  'THE LOST INTERVIEWS' with RAY SHASHO Episode 16 Interviewed Tuesday, November 15, 2011  I had the opportunity to interview Doobie Brothers legendary guitarist and songwriter Patrick Simmons a few days before the 2011 Orlando Calling festival. Pat Simmons was introduced to future Doobie Brothers bandmates Tom Johnston and John Hartman by Moby Grape's Skip Spence in 1969 forming the foundation to what would eventually be one of the most esteemed classic rock bands in history.  Pat is usually identified as the Doobie Brother with the longest hair. His heartfelt vocal styles are significant to the band's success. He's an important musician with eclectic musical styles and tastes. Some of his many compositions with the band include the classic “Black Water” (which became their first number one hit) “South City Midnight Lady,” “Dependin' On You,” “Dangerous,” “Echoes Of Love” and “Clear as the Driven Snow.” His on-stage presence is both surreal and overwhelming during his solo of “Jesus Is Just Alright.” Here's my interview with singer, songwriter, guitar virtuoso, and founding member of The Doobie Brothers … Patrick Simmons Doobie Brothers official website http://www.doobiebros.com/ Patrick Simmons musical credits on allmusic.com http://www.allmusic.com/artist/patrick-simmons-p20546/credits     Support us on PayPal!

TOM JOHNSTON THE DOOBIE BROTHERS ‘THE LOST INTERVIEWS' with RAY SHASHO EPISODE 15 INTERVIEWED FEBRUARY 17TH 2013   The Doobie Brothers are one of those bands that we've depended on, year after year, and expect to see performing invariably at outdoor music festivals, pavilions, arenas, casinos and bike week events across the nation. The group has been exhilarating audiences for decades yet appear timeless onstage. One of the principal reasons for the longevity and success of the Doobie Brothers has a lot to do with an unmitigated affection shared between the band and its audience. It's been an amazing love affair that has persevered for over forty-two years. When the Doobie Brothers finally call it quits … rock ‘n' roll will probably call it quits too.  Tom Johnston is the voice, lyricist and guitarist on numerous classic hit recordings by the Doobie Brothers. Inspired by listening to R&B music on the radio, California native Johnston started his first band at 14, eventually broadening his musical horizons by singing with soul and blues groups. After moving to San Jose to finish college, Tom met Skip Spence, original drummer for the Jefferson Airplane. Spence introduced Johnston to drummer John Hartman. Spence was also a founding member of Moby Grape which had a major influence on the Doobie Brothers. Tom Johnston, John Hartman and bassist Greg Murphy formed the power trio “Pud.” When “Pud” unraveled, the evolution of the Doobie Brothers began to take shape. While living in a home dubbed as their “musical headquarters,” guitarist Patrick Simmons and bassist Dave Shogren joined the group. The band quickly generated a huge following in California. In 1971, the Doobie Brothers launched their self- titled debut album, The Doobie Brothers on the Warner Brothers label with legendary producers Ted Templeman and Lenny Waronker. The first track on the album, “Nobody” penned by Tom Johnston, would later resurface in 2010 on their latest release, World Gone Crazy. Their second studio album Toulouse Street (named for a street in the French Quarter of New Orleans) introduced new bassist Tiran Porter and second drummer Michael Hossack (Navy Veteran). The album spawned the Tom Johnston penned classic hits, “Listen to the Music” (#11 Top 100 Billboard Hit -1972), “Rockin' Down the Highway” and “Jesus Is Just Alright,” (#35 Billboard Top 100 Hit -1973) written by Arthur Reynolds (1965) and performed by The Byrds (1969). In 1973, the Doobie Brothers released, The Captain and Me spotlighting some of the bands most memorable classic rock tunes penned by Tom Johnston … “Long Train Runnin'”(#8 Billboard Hot 100 Hit) and perhaps the bands anthem song, “China Grove” (#15 Billboard Hot 100 Hit). The Captain and Me also featured a guest performance by future Doobie Brothers and Steely Dan guitarist Jeff “Skunk” Baxter. The Doobie Brothers fourth studio album, What Were Once Vices Are Now Habits released in 1974 spawned the Tom Johnston penned songs, “Another Park, Another Sunday” (#32 Billboard Hot 100 Hit) and “Eyes of Silver” (#52 Billboard Hot 100 Hit). The album also featured Pat Simmons penned tribute to “The Big Easy,” “Black Water” (#1 Billboard Hot 100 Hit -1975). Stampede released in 1975 was the final album before Michael McDonald took over lead vocalist duties from an ailing Tom Johnston. The album featured the cover version, “Take Me in Your Arms (Rock Me A Little While)” (#11 Billboard Hot 100 Hit -1975) written by the Motown team of Holland-Dozier-Holland. Subsequent albums …Takin' It to the Streets (1976), Livin' on the Fault Line (1977), Minute by Minute (1978) and One Step Closer (1980) featured a successful second incarnation of the band, which primarily consisted of Michael McDonald(vocals, keyboards) Patrick Simmons (guitars/vocals) Jeff “Skunk” Baxter (guitars, steel guitars), Tiran Porter(bass, vocals), John Hartman (drums) and Keith Knudsen (drums). *Tom Johnston played and sang “Turn It Loose” and “Wheels of Fortune” on the album Takin' It to the Streets. John McFee was added to the Doobie Brothers lineup in 1979 replacing Jeff “Skunk” Baxter and was featured on One Step Closer. After a successful run, the band's signature sound and direction became disillusioned. While working on his solo project, Tom Johnston rejoined the band for a Farewell Tour, and then the Doobie Brothers would call it quits as a band for the next five years. The reformation of the Doobie Brothers was contrived when the band's alumni were asked by drummer Keith Knudsen to perform at a concert to benefit veterans' causes. The band discovered that tickets were in great demand and soon embarked on a twelve-city tour.   In 1989, Cycles, the tenth studio recording by the Doobie Brothers, now on Capitol Records, witnessed the return of Tom Johnston and drummer Michael Hossack to the studio as a band. Tom Johnston's distinctive vocals returned, and the band re-established their musical roots. Subsequent releases … Brotherhood (1991), Sibling Rivalry (2000) and World Gone Crazy (2010). World Gone Crazy was the Doobie Brothers highest charting album since 1989 receiving rave reviews and featuring the longtime core lineup of Tom Johnston and Pat Simmons. The Doobie Brothers band functions like a well-oiled machine, touring consistently year after year and enchanting music enthusiasts worldwide. The current lineup of Tom Johnston (vocals/guitar), Pat Simmons (vocals/guitars), John McFee (guitar/strings/vocals), John Cowan (bass), Guy Allison (keyboards/vocals), Marc Russo (saxophones), Ed Toth (drums) and Tony Pia (drums)… represent a musical legacy that defines the quintessence of rock ‘n' roll and a band that we've always depended on throughout the years. The Doobie Brothers have sold more than 40-million albums worldwide. …So why aren't they in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame?   Tom Johnston and the Doobie Brothers will be performing live as part of the Bands, Brew & BBQ concert series at Busch Gardens in Tampa on Sunday, February 24th. Robert Cutarella spent most of his childhood evenings burrowed under his pillows, a transistor radio speaker in his ear listening to the Dick Clark Show and other famous deejays. A passion for rhythm emerged during drumming sessions with wooden spoons borrowed from his aunt. At nine years-old Robert's parents took him to see drum icon Gene Krupa at the Metropole Club in midtown Manhattan. Krupa's physicality and deep passion for his craft made a lasting impression on this soon to be music industry giant. Bob had visions of owning his own company and following a career in the music industry. Robert developed an ear for rhythm, melody, and song structure through growing up in the rhythm and blues era, he earned the opportunity to play with “Do Wop” greats the Shirelle's, Dion and the Belmont's, among others. Robert then took a side road, he fell in love eventually marrying his childhood sweetheart, became a teacher, owned an antique store, sold clothes on the weekend, and played music at night. Music was pulling him to go all in, he accepted an ultimatum from his wife to make it in the music business within a year. Ten months later, Robert recorded his first album. We learn of Robert's devastating losses, heartbreaks, and betrayals, and priceless wisdom gained. Robert discovered and launched careers for some of the most prolific performers of all time including, legendary blues guitarist Stevie Ray Vaughn, and pop singing megastar Celine Dion. This behind-the-scenes hit making genius has guided current recording giants John Legend and Lady Gaga through his songwriting mentorship programs. There are two distinct eras of music by The Doobie Brothers.  From their formation in 1970 until 1975, Tom Johnston was the lead vocalist, and the group had a mainstream rock sound, with some folk and “California Country” influences.  Starting in 1975, Michael McDonald joined the group as a keyboardist, as well as providing lead vocal work to help Johnston, who was having health problems at the time.  Over the following years, Johnston would have less influence as he neared retirement from the group in 1977.  Michael McDonald would influence the group into a more soulful sound, often called “blue eyed soul.”  Today we would call this “yacht rock.”Minute By Minute, the eighth studio album from the group, comes from the height of the McDonald era.  It is a high water mark for the Doobie Brothers both commercially and critically.  The album would spend 87 weeks on the Billboard 200 album charts in the U.S., topping the charts in five of those weeks.  It would also produce multiple nominations and wins at the Grammy awards in 1980 including Record and Song of the Year wins for “What a Fool Believes.”The Doobie Brothers would break up in 1982, then reform with Johnston back as front man in 1987.  Michael McDonald would rejoin the band full time in 2019 in time for their 50th anniversary tour. You can still find them on tour today.Rob brings us this soulful album for today's podcast. What A Fool BelievesThe lyrics of this hit narrate the story of a man who meets an old crush and tries to rekindle their relationship, only to find out that there never really was a relationship in the first place.  Michael McDonald and Kenny Loggins wrote this single, which became a number 1 hit in the US and Canada.Dependin' On YouMichael McDonald and Patrick Simmons wrote this song, and Simmons takes over lead singer duties.  It went to number 25 on the Billboard Hot 100.  The Latin-infused call-and-response song celebrates a rock solid love that is always there.Don't Stop to Watch the WheelsThis shuffle beat deeper cut is sung by Patrick Simmons, and was the B-side from the single release of “What a Fool Believes.” “Look out, hold on, don't stop to watch the wheels go 'round.  Look out, hold on, I got to cover ground.”Minute By MinuteThe title track finds Michael McDonald handling lead vocals, and was written by McDonald and Lester Abrams.  The single was released in April of 1979, and it went to number 14 on the US charts.  The smooth keyboard-driven sound reflects the  Motown inspiration, and is a hallmark song of the “yacht rock” genre. ENTERTAINMENT TRACK:Every Which Way But Loose by Eddie Rabbitt (from the motion picture “Every Which Way But Loose”)Clint Eastwood would take a break from his action and western movies for this comedy with an orangutan co-star named Clyde. STAFF PICKS:Don't Stop Me Now by Queen Bruce leads off this week's staff picks with a single from Queen's "Jazz" album.  While this tribute to hedonism did well in the UK, it only hit number 86 on the US charts.  It would grow in popularity over time, and would be featured in multiple commercials including Toyota, L'Oréal, and American Idol.Double Vision by ForeignerLynch features a song from Foreigner's second album of the same name.  It reached number 2 on the Billboard Hot 100.  Surprisingly, the inspiration for the song title was an event at a hockey game when a goalie had to be removed after a collision on the ice because he was experiencing double vision.Homicide by 999 Wayne brings us a band from London that is named for the number used in the UK to reach emergency services.  This punk-infused song takes a tongue-in-cheek look at serial killers.  While a top 40 hit in the UK, it didn't chart in the States.  You might recognize this song from the soundtrack to the John Wick series, “The Continental.”Follow You Follow Me by Genesis Rob closes out the staff picks with a softer song from the progressive group Genesis, the closer from their album “...And Then There Were Three...”  The group had condensed to the three members of Phil Collins, Mike Rutherford, and Tony Banks, after former member Steve Hackett chose to leave.   INSTRUMENTAL TRACK:Steamer Lane Breakdown by The Doobie BrothersWe get a little double dip of the Doobies as we exit today's podcast on this instrumental number.  Thanks for listening to “What the Riff?!?” NOTE: To adjust the loudness of the music or voices, you may adjust the balance on your device. Born in Aberdeen, Washington, he has been the only consistent member of the band throughout their tenure. In 1970, a California-based power trio consisting of Tom Johnston, Skip Spence, and John Hartman, teamed up with Simmons to form a group together. They would call themselves “The Doobie Brothers”, after their friend Keith "Dyno" Rosen, who either lived with or next to the band told them Why don't you call yourself the Doobie Brothers because you're always smoking pot? Simmons wrote and sang many songs for the Doobie Brothers, including "South City Midnight Lady", "Dependin' On You", "Echoes of Love", "Wheels of Fortune" and "Black Water", the group's first #1 record. Hey everyone! And welcome to the Better Each Day Podcast Radio Show…the show that features recording artists and their work. That's what we usually do but this episode is all about a party I'll be playing in a week. It's taking me back home to Aberdeen Washington or Warshington for the washing impaired. Aberdeen, the town that put the Gator on the Animal House movie via Bill Murray who watched in person our hometown ritual dance, the Gator, performed at the Rocker by our beer soaked Schmenges flailing on the dance floor like freshly caught fish on a dock. He told someone at SNL and low and behold, the John Belushi Gator.  Aberdeen was the childhood home of both football icon John Elway and Patrick Simmons of the Doobie Brothers. William E. Boeing was a local and Nirvana sprouted out of a garage just down the street. Most importantly to me are the friends and family that came with the magic of growing up there. I remember a happy childhood with neighbor kids everywhere. We were the baby boomers and we knew how to have fun. As a kid, I'd go to door of my buddie's homes, knock politely and ask in my best Eddie Haskell voice if their precious child could come out and play with the well adjusted neighbor Bruce. Then we'd go out and build a howitzer slingshot or blow something up. Hot air or hydrogen balloons with fuses, model cars with fuses, everything with fuses. As I got into my 60s I found myself metaphorically going from door to door to see if anyone could come out and play. It seems in our old age we've become jaded and have seen and done it all. No one to play with anymore. Until one day I received a call from Aberdeen friend Paul Koski asking if I'd like to take a three hour tour on his awesome boat with Ginger and Mary Ann. (I made up the Ginger and Mary Ann part but the boat was pretty cool.) Plus, I got to reunite with some people I hadn't seen in a long time. We did two of those boating day trips and had plans to travel to Finland to visit his relatives and see the sights. COVID put that on the back burner but last March we drove to Helena MT and back in four cold and snowy days. The goal? To deliver a car and visit with his brother-in-law and have fun. We did both. I'm so glad I got to know him beyond our teenage years. He returned to his wife and home at Aberdeen Gardens to complete his new house. What was to be his final home I assume. He was killed working on it about a month ago in a tragic accident. He never moved in. His friends gathered for a rememberance and there was still a sense of numbness. Those get-togethers can be so healthful and bring some smiles but for me there was a silver lining bonus of being asked to play a set at Aberdeen High School's graduating class of 1972 reunion in a week.  Now those guys graduated two years prior to my class of ‘74 but having known many of these classmates, my friend Paul being one, I said “yes, where, when” without hesitation. So from my heart to all the Aberdeen High School Weatherwax graduates of 1972, here with us or gone, my song I'm Coming Home. There's a line at the end: It's not on a map, only a poet would know, I'm coming home.

The Doobie Brothers were already a commercial success by the time their fourth studio album, What Were Once Vices Are Now Habits, was released in 1974.  This iteration of The Doobie Brothers features mainstream rock and roll with a folk harmony bent, and the vocals of singer-songwriters Tom Johnston and Patrick Simmons.  Tim Porter is on bass, and "Little" John Hartman and Michael Hossack round out the group in the unusual position of dual drummers. The group got the name The Doobie Brothers from Keith "Dyno" Rossen, who suggested it to Johnston, "because you're always smoking pot."  Everyone agreed that it was a stupid name and they only intended to use the name until they came up with something better.  They never did, and The Doobie Brothers have been with us for 5 decades. When they were first starting out, The Doobie Brothers attracted early attention from local chapters of the Hells Angels, and many of their gigs were at biker bars and venues frequented by motorcycle riders. The Doobie Brothers have been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in the class of 2020.  Another Park, Another SundayWith a mellow, beautiful melody and chord progression, this track tells the story of the loss of a girl.  This is a very relaxing song that takes us back to a laid back memory.  Tom Johnston takes lead vocal duties on this first single release from the album.  Eyes of SilverThis is the second single release from the album.  While it is well known today, it did not do as well as the modest success that "Another Park, Another Sunday" achieved as a single.  Even though the band originated in the San Francisco bay area, this song has more of a southern rock feel to us.  We also enjoyed the sound of The Memphis Horns on this one.NobodyOriginally recorded on their debut album, this song was adjusted and put on the album.  This was the third single, though it was about to be overshadowed by the next single coming.Black WaterPatrick Simmons takes vocal duties on this "swamp rock" hit, which would be the biggest one off the album.  Originally the B-side from "Another Park, Another Sunday," DJ's began to pick up on it, and it would become The Doobie Brothers' first million-selling song.  Check out that acapella section at the end.   ENTERTAINMENT TRACK:The theme from the motion picture “Blazing Saddles” Mel Brooks' comedy film could never be produced today!  Brian reminisces about taking a date to this movie.  Richard Pryor wrote parts of this film. STAFF PICKS:“Come and Get Your Love” by RedboneBruce's staff pick is the highest charting single from Redbone, a Native American rock group.  It would peak at number 5 on the Billboard hot 100.  Brothers Pat and Lolly Vegas, Tony Bellamy, and Butch Rillera make up the group, and Lolly plays the electric sitar.   It got a second life when it was on Star Lord's awesome mix tape from the movie “Guardians of the Galaxy.”“She's Gone” by Hall and OatesRob brings us some blue-eyed soul from Darryl Hall and John Oates.  Similar to the case with “Nobody,” this is the first release of of the song, which peaked at #60.  They would tweak the song and re-release the song in 1976, when it would go to #7 — the version you will recognize more easily.  Both Hall and Oates were going through breakups at the time that they wrote the song.  The video to this song is...well, definitely pre-MTV!“Burn” by Deep PurpleWayne's staff pick brings the tempo up with the title song off Deep Purple's eighth album.  The singer is David Coverdale, who co-wrote the song with Ritchie Blackmore.  The constant drumming and strong vocals make it a great driving song.  The lyrics tell the story of “a witch's last curse as she is burned at the stake.”“Jim Dandy to the Rescue” by Black Oak ArkansasBrian takes us down south, and back to a song originally written in 1956 by Lincoln Chase and recorded by Laverne Baker.  Ruby Starr and Jim "Dandy" Mangrum take turns on the vocal leads on this high energy boogie. COMEDY TRACK:"Energy Crisis '74" by Dickie GoodmanAnother montage comedy track from Dickie Goodman takes us out on this week's podcast.

Doobie Brothers lead singer, guitarist, and founding member Tom Johnston wrote 9 of the first 13 singles issued by the band between 1971 and 1975. These include the hits “Listen to the Music,” “Long Train Runnin’,” “China Grove,” and the classic rock radio staple “Rockin’ Down the Highway.” His voice can be heard on additional Doobies hits, including “Jesus is Just Alright” and “Take Me in Your Arms (Rock Me).” After being sidelined by health issues, Michael McDonald replaced Johnston in the band, with Tom eventually going on to a solo career. He released two albums for Warner Bros., scored a Top 40 single with the self-penned “Savannah Nights,” and performed the song “Where Are You Tonight” for the Dirty Dancing soundtrack, which sold over 11 million albums in the US alone. He returned to the Doobie Brothers in the late 1980s, writing the Top 10 single “The Doctor,” and going on to pen such songs as 1991’s “Rollin’ On,” which was a hit on Billboard’s Mainstream Rock chart. Additionally, he wrote the title track for their 2011 album World Gone Crazy. In 2014, the band released the album Southbound, featuring duets with well-known country performers Blake Shelton, Hunter Hayes, Toby Keith, Chris Young, Brad Paisley, and others. Johnston continues to front the Grammy-winning Doobie Brothers alongside fellow founder, guitarist and songwriter Patrick Simmons. The band has sold more than 48 million albums, including The Best of the Doobies, which is among the 100 top-selling albums of all time.

The Cannonball Diary documents her coast to coast ride in 2010 on a 1915 Harley-Davidson affectionately known as Effie. She is the recipient of numerous industry awards and honors and has encouraged women around the world to get out and ride. In addition to her 1915 H-D, Cris also owns several modern motorcycles.   Patrick and Cris met in Sturgis in 1989 - Tonight's program will provide an insight to these great guests that you will not learn anywhere else! In this episode of Talking Motorcycles with Barry Boone we go inside SOZO Motorsports. Mark Adams, co-founder and CEO of SOZO Global Inc, joins us to discuss this 100% natural and nutricious beverage and the business opportunity it presents. This product has truly enhanced my motorcycle touring experience by focusing the mind and the body. For most motorcyclists, myself included, there are times in a riding day that your energy and focus slips. I consider this a very dangerous time in a touring day. SOZO Ignite takes care of that problem. Mark will be on to tell us the how and the why of this amazing product. We will also delve into the idea that you can earn tremendous income by being a SOZO distributor and enhance your financial life. Mark will tell us how it all works. Chris Banker, Manager of Communications for New Jersey Motorsports Park, will join us to discuss the season ending AMA Pro Road Race at NJMP. The Kawasaki Devils Showdown will be the venue where champions will be crowned. This track has produced epic battles and there are many fan friendly attractions in addition to the on-track activities. Chris will inform us of what they have planned for the season ending championship event for racers and fans alike. In addition to being the season championship race it is also the final American Superbike race under the AMA Pro banner. The two entities have enjoyed a long standing relationship and we will discuss the past and the future as well.  Last week on Talking Motorcycles we discussed the 2014 Motorcycle Cannonball just one day prior to it kicking off at the Daytona Beach Resort. 97 riders on their pre1937 vintage machines began their 4,000 mile journeys to Tacoma, Washington last Friday morning. Buzz Kanter of American Iron Magazine will be calling in to provide an update on their efforts in this years event. Our guests on that show were Buzz Kanter, Norm Nelson and Patrick Simmons of The Doobie Brothers. Buzz will update us!

In this episode of Talking Motorcycles we go LIVE with some of the top competitors of this years event which departs from Daytona Beach this Friday night and arrives in Tacoma, Washngton September 21st. This epic ride is done on motorcycles built prior to 1937. Riders will be required to navigate well, ride and truly have an understanding of their classic machines. Patrick Simmons, lead singer and guitar for the Doobie Brothers!  Norm Nelson is one of the best. He once rode his 1958 Harley-Davidson Sportster from Jacksonville, Florida to Alaska. To celebrate the 25th anniversary of that ride he did it again riding from St. Augustine, Florida to Alaska at 70 years old. He has won the vintage race at Datyona International Speedway 6 times on a Norton Manx. When the Historic Motorcycle Society chose Norm to ride in the event last year he nearly won it. In 2014, Norm and Team 23 are set to do it again hoping for a win. Norm will join us on this episode to discuss the ride just two days before they depart!  Buzz Kanter, Publisher/Editor in Chief of American Iron Magazine will be competing in the Motorcycle Cannoball for the third time. This will be my third ride across the US on a motorcycle much older than I am. Rode a 1915 Harley twin on the first Motorcycle Cannonball in 2010, a 1929 Harley JDH on the second one in 2012, and will be riding a 1936 VLH this time. Interesting mixture of excitement, anxiety and anticipation right now. Buzz Kanter and Norm Nelson typify the spirit of the Motorcycle Cannonball. Both are excellent motorcyclists who will tell their stories as to why they ride in this grueling yet rewarding event that covers 4000 miles of American roads from coast to coast.  Twitter: @twowheelb FB/Talking Motorcycles with Barry Boone   Barry
