Reporting from Jacksonville, Rick Stroud relays the scary moment nobody around the Bucs wanted to see — Rueben Bain Jr. missing practice with a sprained AC joint, though Rick notes the lack of any real treatment on the field is a good sign he'll be ready for Cincinnati. Rick and Steve also dig into an eyebrow-raising development at quarterback: with Baker Mayfield and Trevor Lawrence getting the bulk of the joint-practice reps, it was Jalon Daniels — not veteran Jake Browning — taking the number two snaps, and Rick walks back some of his own skepticism about whether the undrafted rookie has already locked down the backup job. Plus, Tristan Wirfs is back in pads and looking like himself, which both hosts agree makes him the best player on the roster. They also break down the massive stadium news on deck — Tampa's city council voting today and Hillsborough County following Friday on the Rays' new ballpark — along with a tour of Jacksonville's chaotic, crane-filled Everbank Stadium construction site ahead of the season opener there. On the field, Freddy Peralta was brilliant in a two-hit shutout as the Rays took two of three from Detroit, and Rick and Steve close with reaction to the Jed York police bodycam video. Pogačar is making this Vuelta look very difficult for everyone else. Stage 6 takes the race 177.5km from Alcossebre to Castelló, with a punchy route that builds towards a brutal finale, including a gravel section with gradients reaching 20%. And, once again, the red jersey decides he wants to race it like a one-day Classic. With UAE driving the pace and the break beginning to disappear, Pogačar launches his attack on the final climb and quickly opens a gap over the rest of the GC contenders. He hits the gravel alone and starts pulling away, but Enric Mas refuses to let him disappear. The Spaniard produces a huge chase and eventually makes contact with Pogačar near the top. The two then work together over the final kilometres, with Mas putting himself in position to move into second overall. But there is a heart-in-mouth moment on the descent as Pogačar runs off the road after misjudging a corner, coming to a complete stop before getting back on his bike and rejoining Mas. Pogačar still has enough left to beat him in the final sprint and claim his third stage victory in just six days. We get into Pogačar's attack, Mas' brilliant fightback, the chaos of the gravel and that near-crash on the descent, before looking at what another victory means for the GC race. Ned Boulting and Pete Kennaugh break down Stage 6 of the Vuelta a España. ---------------------------------

We discuss the latest developments, and our number one alternative to Gakpo and assess why the club are yet to officially announce the arrivals of Savinho and Omar Marmoush. The uncertainty comes on a day when Manchester City released training footage showing Marmoush still at the club's training base, despite multiple reports suggesting the Egyptian had travelled to London to undergo his medical. Savinho, meanwhile, is understood to have already completed his medical, with only the official confirmation of his move seemingly pending. Ashton Jeanty's ankle sprain sends a jolt through Raider Nation, but Scott Gulbransen explains why the backfield may be in better shape than fans think, thanks to fourth-round rookie Mike Washington Jr. Then it's the biggest question in Henderson: is this Kirk Cousins' team or Fernando Mendoza's, and what is head coach Klint Kubiak really signaling heading into Thursday's preseason finale against the San Francisco 49ers? In this episode: Jeanty's Sunday practice injury and what's known about the ankle sprain, Mike Washington Jr.'s preseason production (63 yards on 6 carries vs. Arizona, 56 yards on 9 carries vs. Houston) and what it means schematically under Kubiak, Kubiak's "job to lose" comment on Cousins, Fernando Mendoza's rough box score against Houston and the case for patience, Will Anderson's praise for Mendoza's poise, and a look at a struggling Raiders wide receiver room after Kubiak's blunt "we took a step backwards" comment. Plus caller Jacob from Fresno and a stack of viewer comments in the Raider Nation Court of Public Opinion. Silver and Black Today is part of the Believe Podcast Network. Nine years ago, tonight's guest, Dave, contacted me to tell me about a Dogman encounter he'd had not long before reaching out to me. The encounter had traumatized him, and he contacted me hoping I could help him come to terms with what he'd experienced.Dave was no stranger to the woods. He'd spent untold hours in the outdoors over the years, doing all sorts of things. In fact, many years before his Dogman encounter, he'd had several encounters with Sasquatch. Those experiences didn't frighten him. His 2018 Dogman encounter clearly did. When Dave and I spoke at length about his encounter back in 2018, he wasn't ready to come on the show and share what had happened to him. Recently, though, he contacted me to let me know that had changed. After all these years, he's finally ready to share his encounter with all of you.We hope you'll tune in and listen as Dave tells the story of the Dogman encounter that affected him so deeply. If you've had a Dogman encounter and need help or would like to be a guest on the show, please go to https://DogmanEncounters.com and submit a report. Prenuptial agreements often get a bad reputation, but what if the prenup itself isn't the problem? In this episode, I share why I don't think prenups are inherently good or bad. Instead, I believe the real insight comes from how the conversation unfolds. Are both people willing to negotiate? Is the agreement fair? Does each person feel heard and respected? Sometimes the biggest lesson isn't whether you should sign the prenup, it's whether the way your partner approaches the conversation tells you something important about the marriage you're about to enter. This episode is about fairness, communication, and paying attention to the relationship dynamics long before you say, "I do." - - - - - - - - Want that chapter checklist just Click Here! A man in a mask is terrorizing Philadelphia, we talk about it in today's story roundup.
The Pentagon ranks biological warfare as a greater threat than nuclear war — and investigative journalist Annie Jacobsen spent years finding out why. The Pulitzer Prize finalist and New York Times bestselling author of Nuclear War joins Newt Gingrich to discuss her new book, Biological War: A Scenario, which charts the terrifying hours and days following a lab leak at Russia's Vector Institute. Jacobsen reveals how a Soviet-era "super plague" engineered with a euphoria gene could spread across six continents in days, why 3,500 BSL-3 labs worldwide represent a ticking clock, and what COVID failed to teach us about preparedness. Most chillingly, she exposes the classified U.S. government "Devolution Plan" — a secret continuity program designed to preserve the government underground while society collapses above. Her reporting is a warning — and a call to action before the next lab leak makes the scenario real.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Rick Stroud and Steve Versnick break down a strong finish for the Buccaneers in their second joint practice against the Jets, highlighted by an efficient Baker Mayfield, a two-minute drill touchdown to Cade Otten, and a defense that shut the door when it mattered. Rookies Ted Hurst and cornerback Ayden Garnes flash in big moments, while the guys also discuss the scary injury scare to Emeka Egbuka's toe and what it could mean for Tampa Bay's receiving corps heading into preseason play. They also preview Friday's preseason opener against the Jets and who's likely to sit. Then it's over to baseball, where the red-hot Rays just completed a historic 9-0 West Coast road trip — one of only two times in MLB history an East Coast team has swept a nine-game West Coast trip. Rick and Steve dig into Tampa Bay's spot atop the American League, Junior Caminero's chase for the home run title, new addition Jorge Mateo, Nick Martinez's complete-game gem, and why this Rays squad might be one of the most fun — and best — in franchise history. 95% of people believe they're completely self-aware. Only 10% actually are, and that gap nearly cost this week's guest his business, his family, and his sanity. On this episode of One Part Lion, One Part Lamb, Stephen sits down with Lucas Sherraden, pastor turned real estate leader turned author of The Uncaged Leader, to unpack the hidden programming running underneath every decision we make. Lucas shares the moment his eighth-grade daughter's question exposed what was really driving his near-collapse in 2008, and the framework he now teaches leaders to help them see what they can't see in themselves. Together, they dig into why "the market" is almost never the real problem, how our own preferences quietly make decisions for us before we're even aware of it, and why the question "who must I become" matters more than "what must I do." It's the Lion and Lamb methodology in action: the strength to lead boldly, paired with the humility to actually look inward. In this episode, we unpack: — The Harvard study on self-awareness that should unsettle every leader — The basketball gym moment that changed how Lucas saw his own business — The 5-second formula for practicing the pause before you react — The leadership archetypes keeping high-performers caged — How Lucas took a Kansas City brokerage from #6 to #1 in two years Lucas Sherraden is the author of The Uncaged Leader and a former pastor turned real estate leadership coach. Your Day Off @Hairdustry; A Podcast about the Hair Industry!
Your chair is your business. Start acting like it.After three or four years of trying to make it happen, Christopher Aaron finally sat down with Corey on Your Day Off, and the conversation went straight past the highlight reel into the stuff that actually builds a career.Christopher knew at five years old. Watching his mom and aunts get their hair done, mesmerized by stove curlers and the click of the iron, he decided right there he would stand behind the chair. That kid never left him. Today he is a L'Oreal artist, a LASIO ambassador, and one of the most in-demand educators in the room. From Redken exchange to a L'Oreal partnershipChristopher does not wait for doors to open. He opens them. He drove hours for classes, took Center Stage five times, kept every card from every rep, and put his face in the room until people knew who he was. When he weighed brands, he turned down more money elsewhere because he refused to be hired as a token. He wanted a partnership where he felt at home and could grow, and where diversity meant more than a checkbox.Networking happens after the show floor clearsCorey and Christopher agree on this one. You will not meet the big names on stage. You meet them at the after party, a day early, in the quiet moments when the pressure is off. And here is the move most people miss: do not chase the big fish. Get to know the people building the company alongside them, because those are the ones actually making decisions about your career.Be kind. Everyone is watching. How you treat a bartender or wait staff says everything. Both hosts named it plainly. Nobody advocates for the person who is rude to the room. Kindness is not soft. It is strategy.Gray blending that keeps clients in the chairFor the stylists, Christopher broke down his approach to gray blending and baby lights: softening lines with a demi or semi, choosing Diacolor or Dia Light depending on level, and his signature move of adding a touch of one N to every blonde formula and root shadow so the pigment actually holds. Just a boop. Nothing you could measure on a scale.Write your own storyThe line that anchors the whole episode: no one else can write your story better than you. Christopher is spending this year building his empire and, just as importantly, falling back in love with himself outside of work. Scare yourself. Question whether the story you are living is even yours. Ask if it still serves you.Chair to Boss is September 28th in Chicago. If you are anywhere near the Chicagoland area, go see what Maria has built.

Every person struggles with weakness, temptation, and failure—but the pursuit of virtue has always defined strong societies. Mike Slater and Andrew Klavan examine why accountability, personal responsibility, and moral character are disappearing from American culture, and what that means for the future. They explore why embracing our flaws instead of excusing them may be the first step toward rebuilding the country.

Send us Fan Mail One phone call can redraw your entire relationship with health. When Stephan Alheim lost his father to a sudden heart attack, he stopped thinking like a coach chasing fitness goals and started thinking like a son asking a brutal question: what am I doing today to avoid leaving the people I love too soon? That turning point shaped TA4 Fitness and a clear philosophy we unpack together: stop reacting to your health and start investing in it before urgency decides for you. We dig into why so many busy adults and high performers get stuck in perfectionism, believing workouts must be long, intense, and flawless to “count.” Stephan explains how the real breakthrough is consistency and momentum: don't put up a zero for the day. From there, we get practical about assessments that actually guide training, including movement screening to expose mobility restrictions, compensations, balance gaps, and strength baselines so progress isn't measured only by the mirror or the scale. If you're over 40, we talk about what changes in the body and why early intervention has outsized payoff for longevity and healthspan. Stephan breaks down the TA4 system strength, mobility, breathwork, and nutrition plus supportive concepts like zone 2 cardio for heart health. We also go deep on breathing as a trainable skill, including nasal breathing, CO2 tolerance, calmer workouts, and the surprising ways breath can affect energy and stress. If you want a stronger, more mobile body for the next 20 years, subscribe, share this with a friend who needs the nudge, and leave a review so more people can find it. In the Weekly Roundup, Brad Onishi examines how the American Right and MAGA are reacting to Abdul El-Sayed's victory in Michigan by calling him anti-American, communist, socialist, and more. As Brad explains, these rhetorical choices are strategies that correspond to a larger effort by the Trump administration to criminalize dissent. Brad traces the code words used by the American Right against Sayed, Mamdani, and others to NSPM7 and Project Esther. This is about more than one Senate race in Michigan. It's about who gets to define what counts as “American,” what kinds of political disagreement are considered legitimate, and what happens when the language of political opposition becomes the language of political persecution. Joint Base Lewis-McChord sits deep within the forests of Washington State — an area with one of the highest concentrations of reported Bigfoot sightings in the country. For the soldiers, Marines, and Army Rangers who have trained there, some of those stories have come from within the military's own training grounds. Drawn from accounts spanning several decades, these stories describe massive figures encountered during nighttime patrols, land navigation exercises, and reconnaissance missions — including encounters that have reportedly become part of the lore of the Army's elite 2nd Ranger Battalion.
