Millionaire Mindset Lesson - There's Always More MoneyToday I'm sharing with you one of my key millionaire mindset lessons. Now, becoming a millionaire doesn't really make you special or clever, but the truth is that my biggest secret for becoming one is focusing on very specific mindset upgrades. Now this is the first mindset lesson I want you to master, and that's there's always more money. There's always more money. One of the cornerstones of Soul Rich Woman philosophy is that there's always more because as a Soul Rich Woman, the soul is rich, abundant, and full. There's enough for everyone. And we live in a world of abundance. That's why we have Soul and rich. You can be rich in health, wealth, and happiness and full of it. Have you noticed there's always at least one more happen when you look for it, or color when you look for it? There's always another hair clip when you really want to find it. There's always one more coin in the bottom of your purse, or one more sweet at the bottom of your bag for your kid when your child asks for it. I'm not saying that income inequality isn't real and that there's no poverty in the world, but chances are you have every opportunity to change your circumstances. Number 1: One way we keep ourselves small is by thinking that the world is a zero game. Number 2: There is no limit to what you can dream. Number 3: There's no cap to your earning potential. Number 4: You have brilliance and a diamond is within you and you deserve to shine. Number 5: The universe sometimes will manifest itself. In this episode, key takeaways:1. All wealthy women are great for the planet. 2. Tell yourself there's always enough. 3. Always believe that there is enough.4. There are always more opportunities. 5. There are always more ideas.Key Resources:Subscribe to Genecia's Youtube channel: https://www.youtube.com/c/SoulRichWomanVisit SRW's website: https://www.soulrichwoman.comFollow Genecia on Instagram : (@Geneciaalluora)Follow Genecia on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/geneciaalluora/Check Genecia's LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/genecia/Free Resource: "Soul Why: Soul Rich Woman Blueprint" and "How to Delegate 80% of your to-do list" ---> https://be.soulrichwoman.comSecrets of Manifesting Money Quickly Online Course ---> https://shor.by/moneymindset

Now I've got really some great tips for you today. The first thing I want to acknowledge is that holiday time can be really exciting for some people and for others it can be really stressful or even sad, so don't beat yourself up over it either way, especially for this year, it can be a triggering experience to spend time with your family and loved ones over this holiday season, particularly if you have been spending a lot of time working on your personal development and money blocks, you still might be quite vulnerable to other people's energies. Now, here are some tips to get through the holiday period without triggering your money blocks too much. Tip 1: Have a canned response.Tip 2: Get really good at changing the subject.Tip 3: Be clear about what you want.Tip 4: You don't have to keep presents you don't like.Tip 5: Do some EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique). In this episode, key takeaways:1. Money And Me Power To Get Anything You Desire Step 3 of 5We have already talked about the first two steps of the Manifesting Formula. Now the third step is a really crucial one. This is where a lot of people quit before they get started. Another problem around Manifesting is really very easy to get excited at the beginning. And then you lose steam, you lose enthusiasm, and you lose those positive vibes. Is it because whether you are busy, something comes up along the way and then there could be something new? So like a shiny star object syndrome comes up. So all these things will distract you as you are pursuing this manifesting formula towards becoming a Soul Rich Woman or achieving your Soul Goals and the dreams that you want. You have to get into that flow of positivity. And when you do that, and when those synchronicities or what we call things that look like intuitively start to happen to you, or suddenly you start to see opportunities, start to see lucky things happening, that's when all the things start to feel magical. We also want to be realistic about this. The manifesting formula is practical. That's why positive anchors are so important. You need to create things that will remind you of your goal constantly and keep your intentions focused. And when you feel really good about your goal, you are going to start to act in different ways. And that's going to make the next step much easier if you can hack that. Number 1: Embrace the power of positive and automatic anchors. Number 2: Prime yourself subconsciously, not as a victim, but as a positive one to achieve your goal.Number 3: Build a really strong foundation of belief from multiple angles.Number 4: Use different way to remind yourself.Number 5: Manifesting is to make things real.In this episode, key takeaways:1. Passwords are very important and it's easy to do it as a manifesting anchor. 2. Put that goal or that dream very clearly and distinctively into your space so that it will go into your mind. 3. Layer them into your life so that you're not working too hard all the time to remember your goal. 4. The magic is in the details and the repetition. 5. Give yourself the best chance of achieving your goals. Nine Most Common Self-Care Mistakes Entrepreneurs Make (and how to avoid them)I want to talk about the nine most common self-care mistakes entrepreneurs make and how to avoid them. Self-care isn't just about getting manicures and facials, or even getting your hair colored, or hair done, or even just getting your Botox or your fillers. It's about giving yourself the time and space to live your life as a well-rounded person. It's about treating yourself the way you treat a best friend, your best friend. Entrepreneurship makes it way too easy to ignore self-care. If most of us are honest, we'll admit that we weren't super hot at self-care even before we started our businesses. So self-care is really a mindset problem rather than a logistical one. Here are the nine most common self-care mistakes that entrepreneurs like you and I make.Number one: Skipping meals, eating way too much junk food, or constantly hitting the caffeine to get you through the day.Number two: Going short on sleep, working late into the night, or getting up way too early for clients.Number three: Ignoring your body's need to pee because you just need five more minutes to finish this jobNumber four: Discounting your inner alarm bells and taking on clients that you really don't want to work with. Number five: Regularly standing up to your friends or family to meet a business deadline. Number six: Giving up your hobbies and other non-work interest because you just don't have time. Number seven: Neglecting your meditation, journaling, or other spiritual practice. Number eight: Forgetting to take time out to connect with whatever form of spirit or source that takes for you. Number nine: Feeling as though you need to do everything yourself and refusing to allow the universe to help. In this episode, key takeaways:1. There's only one resource that your business truly can't do without, and that's you. 2. There's a will, there's a way.3. Balancing is important.4. Combine self-care and business together.5. Implement no working days.6. Get clear on your working hours. 7. Implement boundaries with your clients.8. Invest in some help.9. Upgrade your Soul Rich Woman.Key Resources:Subscribe to Genecia's Youtube channel: https://www.youtube.com/c/SoulRichWomanVisit SRW's website: https://www.soulrichwoman.comFollow Genecia on Instagram : (@Geneciaalluora)Follow Genecia on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/geneciaalluora/Check Genecia's LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/genecia/Free Resource: "Soul Why: Soul Rich Woman Blueprint" and "How to Delegate 80% of your to-do list" ---> https://be.soulrichwoman.comSecrets of Manifesting Money Quickly Online Course ---> https://shor.by/moneymindset
Transcript for Ep168:I have a free gift for you, Money Blueprint for Women Leaders. It is downloadable at www.janetaisyahquek.com/money.Hi, It's Janet Aisyah and in this bonus episode, I would like to share with you my success in launching the Podcast SEASON 3. Launching the PODCAST SEASON 1&2 impacted my life instantly in 2020 & 2021. I truly agree that a podcast is not only about building an online presence, but most importantly online credibility and recognition by showing up consistently. Headhunted more than 10 times directly from companies and recruiters in 3 months from Asia Pacific, US and Europe even in this covid 19 situation. 1) I realized that my message impacted more people than I ever thought it could now with listeners and followers in more than 12 countries. 2) After awarded Platinum Instant Podcast Leader, I have garnered more than 100 likes on social media and some friends commented that now I am a Queen and drew attention to new connections who are keen to know what I am doing and how podcast can help them. 3) I got to introduce my podcast as a way of personal branding when I joined my new company. My colleagues were impressed with my podcast show especially my overseas colleagues. 4) I get to complete my 3 years of Podcast content in less than 12 days. 5)As I keep the momentum to complete the Season 3, I am able to think on the spot a topic and free flow the content to share. This is possible with the proven structure, process and system in place.1. 10 objections: When I got to start the podcast SEASON 3, I was not sure if this is something I want to continue or just wait to see what results I have before embarking. Since I am taking career break so I decided to prepare myself by continuing before I get busy once I start my new job or my business which is working in progress. I realized that time flies so fast and now it has been 2 years since I started my Season 1. So I decided to use this time to continue SEASON 3 so I will have 3 years of content. By now I have already taken a career break almost 1.5 years , started my new job for a 1 year and I saw my SEASON 1&2 have helped me to get leads, enquiries and my first 2 C-suite clients. By showing up and having my voice heard, people will come to know who I am and what I stand for, and people will support me just like headhunters have approached me instead of me going to them. More people will come get to know me and my brand once I build my online business in the future. At first my husband was worried if I have time to do SEASON 3 before I can see the results but I told him this is part of my own branding and for future online business that I am going to embark on. Since I am available now, it will be best time to do otherwise there is never a good time. Best is because I have the choice to do it and with my husband support, I can have a breakthrough and it also influenced him to see things differently about the power of online presence after I completed SEASON 3 episodes in 48 hours especially during Covid 19 times. He saw I have became more confident and I have discipline to get my recording done despite I could just sit on it and delay since I could use the time to enjoy my break and leave. I don't know how I can continue recording when there is uncertainty due to lockdown in Singapore as I no longer able to do at the head office. Genecia and Joanne explained to me that they will support and guide me to do it online, I just need to follow what they need me to do. Having the whole Soul Rich Woman team put me at ease knowing that I just to have to focus on my script and they do the rest. I just need to share my posting and recording on weekly basis without worry about the technical part that I am more at ease. As I am not sure if I have enough topics to share in season 3, my mentor Genecia spent time with me to draw out and guided me to position myself in the topics I could share. That gave me ideas and topics I could share.Another issue I had was time, I am working at the moment but I have to juggle between spending time with children, catching up with my friends during leave and also I have commit to complete 55 episodes. But because I believed in the importance of doing the podcast and in the urgency of doing it now rather than later, I was able to make arrangements, do when having the momentum so that things could be done earlier. It is a relieve for me that I have content ready and I can focus on enjoying rest of my leave and family now. On top of all those issues, I had fears on the outcome if I will be repeating myself in some of the topics. Will listeners get bored on what I shared. How will people react? But because it has been my dream to reach out to my 1st 10 000 audience in 3 years so I need to continue to build my content and so keep me going. I also understand that as I have more episodes, my voice is easily searchable on internet. Podcast is a marketing vehicle that can be used again and again for life. I was also feeling anxious about what I am going to share if listeners will connect with me despite I have launched SEASON 2. I still went ahead as I realized I have so much content to offer and empower women who can achieve success like myself. Understanding that my intention is to share and inspire and not to criticize or destroy other people's lives, gave me the courage to continue despite the hardwork and continue SEASON 3.Recording the episodes also requires a lot of time and effort especially during my leave. I got tired at times when there are distractions that I had to record again due to environmental noises not within my control. . I spent less time with my children and my others to do list. And there were a few tasks I had to set aside just to give priority to my podcast recording. But I now see this to be my big lesson in life. If you want to succeed in anything, you have to stay focus, remind yourself why you first started, make it happen and you have to set it as your number one priority. I have been getting attention of some responses that they see me as podcast lead and amazing that I could do season 3. Having launched SEASON 3, I am also anxious about what will happen next? Then by going back to understanding my intentions since I started Season 1 and remind myself why I started that this will be about doing something positive for me and for others, and by knowing that I have a strong team of soul rich woman to support me, my worries are tamed and controlled. So, having your family and friends to support you in what you are doing, and giving you the understanding of the journey you wish to embark on is already a great encouragement, not to mention that having the soul rich woman team is your rocket launcher! Knowing that you have people behind you who will look after your best interest and following up on you so that you don't fall to you're the little voices inside your head is a great support. Therefore I believe that no matter how good you think you are you need a team who can support and guide you, but most importantly people who know what they are doing. The soul rich woman team makes you feel you are family and that they've got your back every step of the way. Conclusion:Having launched my podcast show SEASON 3 in 48 hours, it boosted my confidence to a higher level and achieve so many great results in 48 hours. I feel that I have grown to next level and continue to hone my skills and learning to bring my business online. I feel that I am also blessed to have crossed paths with Soul Rich Woman team who could help me make it possible. When we raise our voices together, the words woman power becomes more than just a phrase. It becomes a movement.Know that your dreams are valid and on your path, you're never denied and only be directed. Let your voice be heard. Kim Kiyosaki: Invest In Yourself And Get To Financial Freedom with Rich WomanIn this episode we have a very special guest is none other than Kim Kiyosaki. She is an Internationally renowned speaker, best-selling author of “Rich Woman” and “Good Deal, Bad Deal”, Radio Show Host, Entrepreneur and Real Estate Investor. She is also the founder of the Rich Woman organisation. Kim realised early on in her career that she didn't want to be an employee. In search of something more, she worked to develop her skills and made her first real estate purchase. She now controls millions of dollars of investment property and is committed to helping women achieve financial freedom through investing and taking control of their financial futures. Rich woman bookKim Kiyosaki wrote the book entitled “Rich Woman”. Here she shared the inspiration behind the birth of the book: (3:45)The reason Genecia I wrote Rich Woman was because Robert and I, we travel the world teaching the Rich Dad philosophy taking two big groups and I will get up on stage and I will speak to the women for just a few minutes and at every event whether it's Singapore or we're London, Tokyo, Johannesburg wherever it was at the end of the event I'd always be surrounded by women and they had the same questions and the same issues and the biggest thing I realized is there's a huge huge huge demand for women to be educated about money and actually, we women, not only have we not been expected to know much about money but we've actually been taught to depend upon somebody else for our financial well-being.Financial Literacy Financial independence is not based on gender. It happens through education. This is Kim's encouragement for women to be financially secured:(4:52)So my whole message is we need to be in control of our finances we need to step-up and be financially literate and ideally it's up to each one of us to be financially secured (5:07)Nobody's gonna do that for us (5:09)No financial advisor no financial planner it's up to us. And it's not rocket science anybody can do it but it takes time and it takes education She added that to be financially stable requires a process: (6:17)Actually starting to take control of your finances starts very simple. You start small and take baby steps we don't go for the big deals we stick with the small deals. And the most important thing is that understand there's no secret sauce, there's no magic pill (6:49)It's a process and it's a process of education, it's a process of experience but it's not difficult. (06:58)it's just a matter of committing Risk taking in BusinessYou don't have to have it all figured out to start a business. Oftentimes you don't have anything but risk. Here's how Kim started from nothing: (7:41)I started with nothing and I'm gonna tell you that the best thing of all is that I didn't have the money, Robert and I did not have the money. (8:10)Probably for the first 10-12 real estate deals I did, I did not have the money now what that forces you to do is get very very very creative For Kim, she chose real estate as an avenue to invest:(8:22)Once you see the property or whatever investment it is you're interested in. Once you see it , and touch it and feel it then put your mind to work on how can I now get the money, how can I create the money in order to get the investment.(9:54)What you want to do is create positive cash flow. My investment of choice is real estate there's many other ways to gather cash flow whatever works for you.(10:05)But we had 10 thousand dollars a month cash flow from our rental properties. But we only had 3 thousand dollars a month in living expenses. So at that point $10,000 coming in and $3,000 going out we were financially free. Achieving financial freedomFinancial freedom may seem difficult at first but it is not impossible. As Kim ventured into Real Estate this is what they experienced: (10:39)Number 1 I did not have to worry about money anymore and number 2 it gave me the luxury to ask myself what I really want to do with my life. So it's all about financial freedom. (10:50)It's about freedom, not so much about the money but freedom is that having choices to live the life you want to live. That's what it's about.Filling up the gap in your cash flowThere's no one way to fill the gap, but the key is education and being fearless. Here is Kim's encouragement:(11:57)I made a ton of mistakes, a ton. I mean that's the key to success, I'm gonna tell you right now, that the key to success is making mistakes everybody is still afraid of making a mistake, the only way we learn is by making a mistake. (12:24)The key is you gotta got into action I will always say get some education get some education get some financial education on the asset class you like and then once you have some education start very small take baby steps put a little money down because as soon as you put so many down my interest goes way up. (12:57)One thing I recommend for women especially is to go out and buy a 1 ounce silver coin. it's been across 20 dollars US today. But what that does because you know got this asset this gold or silver coin all of the sudden your interest will go up will look at the prices of silver every single day, what's it doing. Why is it up, why is it down? And because you've just parted with 20 dollars US you become this quasi expert on silver. (13:31)I'm a big believer in you've gotta put some money down, get into the game and then that's where the real learning happens. You gotta go out and do the real thing. Raising kids and being married while building your wealthYour family, most importantly your kids should not be a reason for you not to seek for financial stability. Although Kim and Robert don't have kids, she shared a very good example here: (14:09)Robert and I do not have kids, really by choice.(14:19)But my girlfriends for example Lisa Lannon, she's a Rich Dad advisor, she and her husband Josh, they have very successful businesses they have 2 kids they involve their kids in their business, they involve their kids in their investing so when they go out and lock at a property they bring the children along so they educate the kids as well as educate themselves. So for women, especially with the internet there's so much opportunity offer in the internet for business and things like that I think the parent of course can be the best teacher. So why not include the kids. It amazes me how young kids get interested in money. They know about money. When their very very young. So why not educate them while your educating yourself. (15:14)I don't think it has to be one or the other. I think you can do it together.(15:21)and same with the relationship same with couples I'm not advocating for the woman to go out there she's married and she has a life partner then she goes out there and do this all by herself and separate from her spouse this is ideally investing it's something you want to do together as a couple because you grow together you learn together. Invest in yourselfBeing a woman is not an excuse to remain financially dependent on someone else. Be encouraged with Kim's words: (20:00)Most important investment is to invest in yourself and to invest in your education. And for me, it's about your financial education. (20:12)At some point you gotta put yourself first. As a woman we tend to put everybody else first, we put our husbands, our family, our kids, everybody else first . There comes a time you gotta say “hey! I gotta put myself first” (21:05)Oftentimes, too many of us women find ourselves in a financial crisis and they're not educated about money. They have no idea. (21:27)Especially if you are a mom, I think you owe it to yourself to get financially educated to take care of your kids in case something happens. (21:53)When people say “I'll try to get there” “I'll try to be there” “I'll try to make it” If you're saying I'll try, you're already saying “I'm not gonna do it” . Cause try doesn't even exist. (22:22)So just be honest with yourself The secret of SuccessThere's no such thing as a secret to success, according to Kim it's all about personal development and letting go of fear: (28:07)Well there's really no secret except we work on ourselves we work on this because this is what holds us back the fear the doubt the all of the things that get in our way that's what holds us back from success. (28:29)For somebody who is just starting out. If you're just starting out in investment, in real estate, in a business, it's scary because it's an unknown. You haven't done this before we got this horrible fear of making mistakes. So when we come up against obstacles and things like that oftentimes this is the biggest obstacle. So if we can keep clearing our thoughts, our beliefs, our ideas especially around money, that can free us up to move forward with a lot of energy.Women EmpowermentThis is the perfect moment for women to stand out and stand up. Gone are the days of taking the back seat. Here is Kim's call to all women:(38:11)For women right now I'm saying women we need to go for it the world is really messed up right now it's messed up financially, economically, morally, ethically and I think it's up to the women to turn things around because we deal with different energy, we deal with different spirit we bring a whole different personality to the world. 38:42-39:05 Right now it's up to women to stand up to start being role models start being leaders in their families in their communities in their cities in their countries and that's more why I speak or why I educate it's not just about you getting financial security it's really about women stepping up in taking leadership roles and really changing the world. Transformation Financial situations that hinder us from being secure can only be changed with real transformation. Here is Kim's explanation based on Neuroscience: (39:51)If you're in that situation you gotta ask yourself if I keep doing what I'm doing every single day am I gonna get the outcome I want?(40:10) If they keep doing what they're doing is that gonna change that situation or not and if it's not then they have to ask themselves what do I need to do in order to change it? So, for real change to happen, real transformation to happen it's a four step project, a four step process. One, you gotta get information. Two, you gotta take action so if somebody's in that situation and they're not doing anything different nothing's gonna change so you got to take action that's different. the 3rd step is what's called feedback so for every action we take, every single action we take there's feedback.(41:28)The fourth step is called incubation where you take time being yourself and really incorporate what you've learned into your body of knowledge. Key Takeaways : Have a proper allocation of your scarce resources to satisfy needs and wants Educate yourself first before anything else. Change your money mindset. Make it your goal to be financially secured. Don't be afraid to take risks and invest. Now, Kim realized early in her career that she didn't want to be an employee in search of something more. She worked to develop her skills and made her first real estate purchase. She now controls millions of dollars of investment property and is committed of helping women to achieve financial freedom through investing and taking control of their financial futures. OK, so we have Kim in the house. Kim, once again, welcome. Thank you.[00:02:13]Speaker 3: Thank you, Genecia. Thank you for having me. I can't wait to see you in Singapore.[00:02:18]Speaker 2: Yes. So when are you going to come to Singapore? I know you're going to be in Singapore earlier.[00:02:25]Speaker 3: Yes. So there's the big masters of the century. The name of that event, I'll be there for that 23rd, 24th. And then we are doing our Rich Woman event for two days with my team of women. We're dear girlfriends, entrepreneurs, investors, we travel the world, and we do not do this event very often, very rarely, actually. But Veronica and Richard best resources, they've been so good to us. So we're really, really excited to come to Singapore and to meet the women of Singapore. I know Singapore very well, and I know the women of Singapore and Asia are our house, and it's time for the women to step up because the world needs strong women leaders right now, and that's one of the reasons that we're coming and we're teaching and we're educating.[00:03:23]Speaker 2: What made you wanted to write this book, Rich Woman? I mean, like, I've read it, I love it so much. I educated myself, so, I mean, like, you have started at such an early age, and then you put this whole piece together, and it's for us. So why do you do it? At the beginning?[00:03:44]Speaker 3: Yeah. The reason Genecia, I wrote Rich Woman was because Robert and I would travel the world teaching the Rich Dad philosophy, speaking to big groups, and I would get up on stage and I would speak to the women for just a few minutes. And at every event, whether it was Singapore or London, Tokyo, Johannesburg, wherever it was, at the end of the event, I'd always be surrounded by women. And they had the same questions and the same issues. And the biggest thing I realized is there's a huge, huge, huge demand for women to be educated about money. And actually, we women, not only have we not been expected to know much about money, but we've actually been taught to depend upon somebody else for our financial well-being be it a husband, family member, government. We've actually been taught not to take, not to not to take care of ourselves financially, but to be dependent on somebody else. So that puts us often in dire straits. My whole message is we need to be in control of our own finances. We need to step up and be financially literate. And ideally, it's up to each one of us to be financially secure and financially, nobody's going to do that for us.[00:05:08]Speaker 3: No financial advisor, no financial planner, and it's not rocket science. Anybody can do it. But it takes time when it takes education.[00:05:17]Speaker 2: I think one of the big pieces is when you said, anybody can do it, anyone can do it, it feels like a hurdle because a lot of us in our education system, we are taught that to go this way or when we were supposed to go to the left, if we go to the right. If teachers say go to the right, we'll go to the right. So we're kind of like, boxed up in this system where we are not taught financial literacy at a very young age in our generation. And how can we do more now that you're saying that anybody can do? How can we cross this hurdle in our minds that we can actually do it?[00:05:53]Speaker 3: Yeah, well, when you say minds, when you say mind Genecia, that's the biggest part of it. Number one is our thoughts and our beliefs rule everything. So if our thoughts and beliefs are, I don't know anything about money, I'm not good with numbers, somebody else will take care of me, then that's a recipe for disaster. So actually starting to take control of your finances starts very simple. We start small. We take baby steps. We don't go for the big deals. We stay with the small deals. The most important thing is that understand, there's no cost, there's no magic pill, there's no real. Everybody wants the fast answer. Give me the answer. Give me the secret. There's not, it's a process, and it's a process of education. It's a process of experience. But it's not difficult. It's just a matter of committing to wanting to have what money really is. It's about freedom. It's about having choices. And too many of us women find ourselves in dire financial strength as we get older due to death of a spouse, divorce, bad money management. So too many of us women find ourselves in a financial crisis, and that does not have to happen.[00:07:21]Speaker 3: So it is not difficult, but it does take time. You got to commit to it and you've got to put in the effort.[00:07:31]Speaker 2: So what is the minimum amount that any woman can start to build her financial future?[00:07:38]Speaker 3: Well, I started with nothing. I started with nothing. And I'm going to tell you, probably the best thing of all is that I did not have the money. Robert and I did not have the money. So, for example, our very first investment, my very first investment was a little two bedroom, one bath house in a place called Portland, Oregon. It was $45,000. I needed $5,000 down $5,000. Did not have it. But here's the beauty of it. Probably for the first ten to twelve real estate deals, I did, I did not have the money. And what that forces you to do is get very, very creative. So once you see the property, or whatever investment it is you're interested in, once you see it and touch it and feel it, then it puts your mind to work on, how can I now get the money? How can I create the money in order to get the investment? And that's probably one of the biggest things. So when people say, when I get the money, I'll invest, chances are when I have extra money, then I'll start investing. Chances are we're always so busy, we always have something that takes up our money.[00:08:56]Speaker 3: I always say, find the investment first, then the money moves up. Figure out how to get the money.[00:09:03]Speaker 2: I remember watching one of the interviews, in fact, in a recent one that you did when you were in London, you talk about achieving financially free is so simple. You spoke about the concept of keeping your expenses low while the money that you bring in just higher than whatever you're spending. And that difference in itself is financial freedom. Tell us more about this mind boggling concept, because people think that having financial freedom is multimillions of dollars.[00:09:35]Speaker 3: Yes, exactly. In 1984, Robert and I were financially free, and exactly as you say, everybody thought, oh, you must have millions of dollars set aside in savings that you're going to live off of. No, that was not the case. And our formula is very simple. What you want to do is create positive cash flow. My investment of choice is real estate. There's many other ways to gather cash flow, whatever works for you. But we had $10,000 a month cash flow from our rental properties, but we only had $3,000 a month in living expenses. So at that point, 10,000 coming in, 3000 going out. We were financially free. And the most beautiful thing about that is that for the first time, I didn't have to worry about money, which was huge. We all worry about money. How do we pay our bills? How are we going to make this payment? How are we going to do the next thing we want to do financially? Number one, I did not have to worry about money anymore. And number two, it gave me the luxury to ask myself, what do I really want to do with my life? So it's all about financial freedom.[00:10:49]Speaker 3: It's about freedom. It's not so much about the money. It's about freedom. It's about having choices to live the life you want to live. That's what it's about. And then every single real estate investor, successful real estate investor that I know are small, work through their process. And today, because of that, that's what makes them successful. And so I'm very straightforward. I'm very forthright on what it's going to take, the reality of what it's going to take any woman if I can do it, I didn't know anything about money. I didn't know anything about investing. I didn't know anything about real estate. So if I can do it, you can do it too.[00:11:31]Speaker 2: But there must be a gap that you filled up, right? I mean, the time when you understood your expenses are low and having more cash flow to that point of zero, to that point of acceleration, what was it that filled the gap for you and Robert?[00:11:46]Speaker 3: When you say fill the gap, meaning.[00:11:49]Speaker 2: How do you have that awareness to know that, okay, I need to do this, I need to do this, I need to do this?[00:11:54]Speaker 3: Oh, I made a ton of mistakes. A ton of mistakes. A ton. That's the key to success. I'm going to tell you right now that's the key to success is making mistakes. Everybody is so afraid of making a mistake. The only way we learn is by making a mistake. So Robert started to explain to me what his Rich Dad taught him about real estate. And he's like, okay, so go buy something. Go figure it out. I'm like, I don't know how to figure this out. I just went bumbling and stumbling along. But the key is you've got to get into action. So I always say, get some education, get some education. Get some financial education on the asset class you like, there's four asset classes, the asset class you like. And then once you have some education, start very small. Take baby steps, put a little money down. Because as soon as I put some money down, my interest goes way up. Way up. If I put $100 onto something, I'm going to be interested in what that's going to do. So, for example, today, one thing I recommend for women especially, is go out and buy a 1oz silver coin.[00:13:02]Speaker 3: It's going to cost about $20 US today. But what that does is because you've now got this asset or this gold silver coin, all of a sudden your interest will go up. You'll look at the price of silver every single day. What's it doing? Why is it up, why is it down? And because you've just started with $20, you become this quasi-expert on silver. I'm a big believer, and you've got to put some money down, get into the game, and then that's where the real learning happens. You got to go out and do the real thing.[00:13:41]Speaker 2: I love that is where your treasure is. That's where your heart will be. Now, how can a woman with kids, a lot of them are asking, they have kids, they have work all at the same time. You're saying they have bills of pain thinking about education also, I can't do this. So how do you advise them to strike a balance between raising kids and building their wealth?[00:14:07]Speaker 3: Right? That's a great question. Robert and I do not have kids purely by choice. I have one kid called Robert. That's enough for me. That all I can handle. But my girlfriend, for example, Lisa Lannon, she's a rich dad advisor. She and her husband Josh teach. They have very successful businesses. They have two kids. They involve their kids in their business, they involve their kids in their investing. So when they go out and look at a property, they bring their children along. So they educate the kids as well as educate themselves. So for women, especially with the Internet, there's so much opportunity out there on the Internet for business and things like that. I think the parent, of course, is going to be the best teacher. So why not include the kids? It amazes me how young kids get interested in money. I mean, they know about money when they're very, very young, so why not educate them while you're educating yourself? I don't think it has to be one or the other. I think you can do it together. Yeah, and same with relationships, same with couples. I'm not advocating that a woman go out there, she's married and she has a life partner, that you go out there and do this all by herself and separate from her spouse.[00:15:30]Speaker 3: This is ideally, investing is something that you want to do together as a couple, because you grow together, you learn together. I do not understand why people you work so hard for your money. We work every single day for the paycheck, or if you're a business owner for that revenue. You work so hard for it, why would you turn it over to somebody else who you hope and pray is going to do a good job with it. Nobody is going to take care of your money better than you. And the most important thing I think someone can do is be aware, get educated and invest their money themselves and be responsible for your finances.[00:16:19]Speaker 2: That's right. And if you have not signed up for our Rich Women event happening on the 26th and 27 October, do remember to stay tuned to the end because we've got a really special gift for you where you can get a really special, I would say, discount. Okay? So do remember to stay tuned till the end. All right? Very, very important. Now, I'm very curious. You mentioned about your partnership with Robert and your relationship, right. And this is a question that always asks power couples. Okay. And how do you consistently, we talk about power struggle. How do you consistently work together hand in hand? You know, what it's like two relationship advice or three tips you would give any woman who probably have some kind of thing going on, but how can they manage it better, just like you?[00:17:19]Speaker 3: Well, I don't do it perfectly by any means. Robert and I being married is not the easiest thing either. You're always working on it to keep growing and to keep growing. So to be married and to be business partners is not for everybody. Absolutely not for everybody. It works for us. But the one thing I found is that we have very different roles. So Robert was always his story. He's the visionary. I love the business, and I never, ever expected to be on stage doing the whole Rich Woman thing. I love business. Even today, we have totally reinvented our company over the last few months. So I was not actively involved for the last few years. Today, I am the CEO and President. I am in there every single day running the company with our team. But I love the business. And Robert is the author. He's the big picture. So that works really well for us. Not in fact, the only arguments we have are about the business. We don't have arguments personally. We have arguments about the business because we're very passionate about our business. It is our baby. Our mission from day one in 1996 has always been to elevate the financial well-being of humanity.[00:18:46]Speaker 3: We live that. We breathe that with the company. Today, we're getting back to our roots of what that's about. We're building, bringing out the cash flow clubs. Our first product. Our first product, Genecia, was the cash flow board game. And that's near and dear to our hearts because that's where people can teach people. So Robert and I don't have to be going all over the world teaching people can teach each other through this cash flow board game. So in terms of how we work with a couple, I don't have three tips. It's always a dance. It's always a dance. And you've got to allow each other to bring their talents and their gifts to the table, and that's what works best for us.[00:19:33]Speaker 2: Many women tell me that, oh, Genecia, I can't come for the Rich Woman event. I'm too busy taking care of my kids. Oh, I need to ask my husband about the investment I'm about to make. Why would you say to these women with so many things, to consult someone else?[00:19:52]Speaker 3: Yeah, okay. I think the most important investment anybody can make, men or woman, the most important investment is to invest in yourself and to invest in your education. And for me, it's about your financial education. So to think that at some point you've got to put yourself first as a woman, we tend to put everybody else first. We put our husbands, our family, our kids, everybody else first. There comes a time where you got to say, hey, I got to put myself first. It's like when you get on an airplane and they say, in case of emergency, put your oxygen mask on first before helping others. Right? Right. So I think women have got to start putting on their oxygen mask first, start taking care of themselves. And to say, I can't come because of my husband or my kids, it's just an excuse. It is just an excuse. Either you want to do it or you don't. If you don't want to do it, just say, I don't want to do it. Don't say it's because of my kids. Don't use the excuse. There are so many excuses out there. So you got to decide for yourself what's most important to you in your life.[00:21:04]Speaker 3: And as I said, oftentimes too many of us women find ourselves in a financial crisis, and they're not educated about money. They have no idea. Let's say the husband passes away. She has no idea where the money is, what they've got, where it is. Mr. and Mrs. Helper, come along. I'll take care of you. And next thing you know, she's broken. Especially if you're a mom. I think you owe it to yourself to get financially educated, to take care of you and your kids in case something happens.[00:21:36]Speaker 2: Wow, that's really a golden nugget, ladies. Delete all your excuses and bring on that action. It's either a yes or yes. There's no other way.[00:21:47]Speaker 3: For example, I'll give you one thing that I've learned over the years, is that when people say, I'll try to get there, I'll try to be there, I'll try to make it. If you're saying I try, you've already said I'm not going to do it because try doesn't even exist. Trying to pick up this pen. When I pick up note you picked up the pen. Try to pick it up. I picked it up trying to not even exist. So as soon as somebody says, I'll try to be there, I'll think about it. It's just an excuse so just be honest with yourself whether we want to do it and invest in ourselves. So what are the three investment avenues, other than herself, that a woman can look into to start building her first steps to wealth?[00:22:39]Speaker 3: Well, Genecia, there's four asset classes, and Warren Buffett says there's many ways to financial heaven, and you've got to find a way that's right for you. So the four asset classes, one is business, investing in other businesses, building your own business. There's real estate, which is my investment of choice. I love real estate. I understand it. It works for me. There's paper assets like stocks, funds, mutual funds. And there's commodities. Commodities, Gold, silver, copper, soybeans, coffee. Those are all commodities. So you've got to find the investment, the asset class that sings to you and it will it will speak to you. So, for example, I knew early on that real estate, it's fun to me. It's a fun game. I enjoy it. I understand it. My girlfriend, who was an accountant, loved trading. She loved day trading. She loved trading what's called options, stock options. She was very good at it because that's the way her mind works. So don't go along just with what I say. Just because I do real estate, that doesn't mean that might be the best thing for you. But my two investment choices are business and real estate. I tried stocks.[00:24:03]Speaker 3: I've taken classes in stocks. I have studied the stock options, things like that. It doesn't fit with my personality. So you've got to find the one that's right for you. And then the other key is there's two things that investors invest for. One is capital gains. Capital gains is you buy a stock at $20, it goes to $50. You sell it, and your profit is called capital gains. If you buy a house for $100,000, put a little money into it, sell it for $150,000, your profit is called capital gains. You must sell an asset in order to realize capital gains, you have to sell. The other thing investors invest for is cash flow. I am the queen of cash flow. I love cash flow. So cash flow is where, like in paper, in stocks, maybe every twice a year, once a quarter, you get a dividend check on your stock. That dividend is cash flow because you're putting money in, it's working for you. It's giving you a return cash flow. You buy a rental property every month. You collect the rent, you pay the mortgage, you pay the expenses. If you've managed the property well, at the end of the month, you have a positive cash flow.[00:25:23]Speaker 3: So I am all about cash flow, because once you buy an asset and it's giving you cash flow every month, eventually you keep accumulating more and more assets that are giving you cash flow that's flowing into your income column. At some point, your income from your cash flow will replace the job salary paycheck that you're getting. And at that point, you're financially free. That's what I'm about. Money has the power, especially for women, to enslave you or to set you free. Too many women marry for money, are in bad relationships, because they're afraid they can't make it on their own financially. They are in jobs they hate because they need the paycheck. So I am not about having money in slavery. I am all about money setting you free.[00:26:21]Speaker 2: Wow. This is a very important statement. It's all about having the money that allows you to set you free, right?[00:26:28]Speaker 3: Yes, free. You want to live the life, you want to do what it is you really want to do with your life. We all have a gift, we all have a talent. Often times it's covered up because we have to work for money. We have to kind of sell our souls for money. So what if you had the financial freedom where you didn't have to do that anymore, where you could just live your life true to who you are at this point?[00:26:52]Speaker 2: So what will you be sharing with our audience, our women, this coming October? What exactly will you be covering into? How we're going to discover our personality types to work in the different asset areas, or we're going to learn more than that. Tell us more.[00:27:09]Speaker 3: Well, there's a lot we're going to cover in two days. And I have my three girlfriends again, entrepreneurs, so, Lisa Lannon, Steel Stanford, Ronny Jaggers, entrepreneurs, investors, very, very successful. We teach as a team. A lot of fun. And we're going to cover really three areas. So we're going to cover financial development, financial education, financial development. We're going to talk about investments. You're actually going to analyze some investments. We're going to talk about business development, entrepreneurship, building a business, investing in a business. We're going to analyze a business. But the real key to all of this is personal development, because you are the foundation of everything successful in your life. And for me and for Robert, people often ask, what's your secret to success? What's your secret? Well, there's really no secret except we work on ourselves, we work on this because this is what holds us back. The fear, the doubt, all of the things that get in our way, that's what holds us back from success. So the more we can clear this and work on this and work on us, the more we broke. So for somebody who's just starting out, if you're just starting out in investments, in real estate, in a business, it's scary because it's an unknown.[00:28:39]Speaker 3: We haven't done this before. We've got this horrible fear of making mistakes. So when we come up against obstacles and things like that, oftentimes this is the biggest obstacle. So if we can keep clearing our thoughts, our beliefs, our ideas, especially around money, that can free us up to move forward and have a lot more energy.[00:29:00]Speaker 2: Wow, I love that. Now, for those of you who just joined us, we just want to acknowledge you right now, with as many of you here in the room, we just want to acknowledge you. We know that you could be doing something else. So we are doing everything in our power to make it well worth your time. All right, so after the end of this webinar, the webinar replay will be posted on Success Resources Facebook page. So not to worry if you missed the front part. So it'd be available on the Success Resources Facebook page. And also, at the end of the webinar, we will be sharing with you a gift. Okay, last but not least, you get to ask questions. And we have already more than ten questions sitting on my table that were already pregiven to us and so one whole list. So the team has really filtered some of those important ones that desperately want them to be answered. So, Kim, one of the questions that came in during the Q and A actually asked how to start a real estate business with limited resources. So that's one of the questions that the participants have given us. What would you say about that?[00:30:14]Speaker 3: A lot of people say that they all think it takes money to make money. I'm here to tell you, it doesn't take money to make money. I'm a walking example of it. As I said earlier, my first, probably ten investments, I did not have the money. And what the number one excuse people use is, I don't have money, so I can't invest. I would say, number one, start getting educated on whatever it is that interests you. Whether it's real estate, whether it's business, whether it's stocks, bonds, options, whatever it is, start getting educated, because then you'll start to see things differently. And the second thing is, go find an investment. Whether you have money or not, go find one. Just go start looking. Start small. I always say, get some education. Take baby steps. Start small. Go buy a share of stock that can cost you like, $10. That's easy. But don't overthink it. Just get into some action. Get some education. Start small. Go buy that silver, 1oz silver coin. Go buy a share of stock online. There's so much opportunity online for you to create assets online. But I would start there. I would start there.[00:31:37]Speaker 3: Just start. Don't think about it so much. We get into analysis, paralysis. And they all want the formula first. Just start. Just start. There's two things you can invest. You can invest time and you can invest money. So before you start investing your money, invest the time in your education and your investment education. Do that first, then invest a little bit of money.[00:32:03]Speaker 2: A little bit.[00:32:05]Speaker 3: A little bit. Because you're going to make mistakes. Okay, I'm going to say one more thing, Genecia.[00:32:09]Speaker 2: Yes.[00:32:11]Speaker 3: So we all go to school, especially in Singapore. School is very important. We're all taught to go to the right school, you got to get the education. All this, let me tell you that what they teach you in school is opposite of what it takes to be successful in real life. So, for example, number one, in school, they say, don't make a mistake. They punish you, right, for making a mistake. They give you an F. They give you a red mark. They humiliate you in front of people. Okay? So people come out of school scared to death of making a mistake. The only way we learn is by making a mistake. A mistake only shows you something that you didn't know. So you make the mistake, and you get the lesson instead of going, oh, my God, I made a mistake, and you beat yourself up. What's the lesson? Where is it? What's the learning in that mistake? When we get smarter, then we can move forward. So number one, they teach you not to make mistakes. Number two, school teaches you to do it on your own in real life. If you do it on your own, you're only going to go so far.[00:33:13]Speaker 3: You need a team. You need people around to support. You need the team for investing. You need the team for business in order to grow and build it. And the third thing that a school says is, there's only one right answer. Well, no, there's a lot of right answers to the same problem. There's a lot of right answers to one problem. There's not one right answer. And we're trained to look for the one right answer. Give me the one right answer. Everybody says, how do I get successful? Give me the answer. No, there's no one right answer. There's a lot of answers. So a lot of it is deprogramming our mind. What we were taught in school, school actually can hinder our success from what it takes to be successful in our life.[00:34:00]Speaker 2: Wow, that's very good advice. One of the other questions is what are your go to time management strategies? I mean, you're so busy about business managing so many things. How do you do that?[00:34:14]Speaker 3: I have no idea. There's different personality types. My personality type is called a quick start. I go to solution very quickly. I go to action very quickly. And sometimes that's a plus, and sometimes that's a minus. But I just know that I know the most important things I need to handle, and I do my best to handle those first in the day.[00:34:46]Speaker 2: Do you intuitively know what exactly you have to handle, or do you, like, have a priority list that you do or something?[00:34:55]Speaker 3: Oh, that's a good question. As I've gotten older, and maybe because of more experience and more knowledge, my intuition does kick in stronger. And I don't have to do lists. I don't do well with them. But I have maybe five things, like, every day, maybe five things that I have to do. And here's the thing that has worked for me. Oftentimes there are things that are uncomfortable that I don't want to do. Like, you got to make that phone call and tell somebody that you're not going to do business with them or there's an upset and you need to confront it. So what I've learned is I've gotten pretty good at confronting the things that make me uncomfortable. Wow. Well, I would say this in all aspects of life, and this comes if you want to build your business, if you want to start investing, if you have a hard, you've got to start getting comfortable being uncomfortable. You've got to do those things that are going to stretch you. If you want to be successful, you've got to get out of your comfort zone. If you keep doing the same thing day in and day out and day in and day out and not stretch yourself and not get out of your comfort zone, you're never going to grow.[00:36:17]Speaker 3: So my fitness coach says, you got to get comfortable being uncomfortable. And he gives me the hard exercise, and I'm like, I really don't want to do that. I really don't want to run up those stairs 20 times. He goes, well, then just stay comfortable and stay where you're at.[00:36:36]Speaker 2: Wow. Yeah, I love that. And how do you know I just want to add one more question to this. How do you know exactly when you are in the comfort zone so that you can activate the other part of you and say, hey, it's time to get out and get moving?[00:36:53]Speaker 3: Yeah, well, because you feel it inside. Like, let's say there's a phone call you need to make and it's going to be uncomfortable. You know, your body will tell you because it'll feel like this angst and you might be a little scary. It might feel like little goosebumps and all of that stuff. You know, when there's something that you need to do, that's going to take a little more effort and either you're going to do it or you're not. So, for example, on my very first real estate property, my little two bedroom, one bath house, I was scared to death. What if I make a mistake? What if the tenant moves out? What if I lose money? What if, what if, what if, what if I was scared to death? And there came a time where I went, okay, I'm either going to do this deal or I'm not. And I knew if I did it, there was going to be a big learning curve and it was going to make me very uncomfortable, but I was going to learn something. And if I didn't do it, I wasn't going to learn anything. So you know in your heart, whether you're backing off or whether you're pushing forward, you know, and you know when you wimp out and you know when you go for it.[00:38:09]Speaker 3: Right now, for women right now, I'm saying women, we need to go for it. We need to go for it. The world is really messed up right now. It's messed up financially, economically, morally, ethically, and I think it's up to the women to turn things around, because we bring a different energy, we bring a different spirit, we bring a whole different personality to the world. And too many of us have been sitting in the background letting everybody else, letting our spouse and everybody else do stuff. Right now, it's up to women to stand up, start being role models, start being leaders in their families and their communities, in their cities, in their countries. And that's more why I speak and why I educate. It's not just about you getting financially secure. It's really about women stepping up and taking a leadership role and really changing the world, really making a difference in the world. It's about making a difference in the world.[00:39:09]Speaker 2: Wow. Two more questions. How to recover from paycheck to paycheck situation when you have too many obligations? How to recover from paycheck to paycheck situation when you have too many obligations?[00:39:28]Speaker 3: So I'm assuming they're talking about financial obligations.[00:39:32]Speaker 2: Yeah, I think so.[00:39:33]Speaker 3: Financial obligations. Okay, so this comes from neuroscience. I've studied neuroscience lately and how real change and real transformation happens. So if you're in that situation, you got to ask yourself, if I keep doing what I'm doing every single day, am I going to get the outcome I want? So if somebody is living paycheck to paycheck and they've got all these obligations, if they keep doing what they're doing, is it going to change that situation or not? And if it's not, then they got to ask themselves, what do I need to do in order to change it? So for real change to happen, real transformation to happen, it's a four step project, a four step process. One, you got to get information. Two, you got to take action. So if somebody's in that situation and they're not doing anything different, nothing's going to change. So you got to take action. That's different. The third step is what's called feedback. So for every action we take, every single action we take, there's feedback. So if I shake your hand and you shake my hand back, that feedback. If you touch your finger to a hot stove and it burns, that's feedback.[00:41:00]Speaker 3: Too often we have all this feedback coming to us. That is gems. They're gems. They are like, the best information, but we're ignoring it. We're not aware of it, we're not paying attention to it, so we don't learn from it. And then the fourth is when you get that feedback, let's say you're launching a new product and nobody buys it, sales or zero, that's feedback. So then you got to take that feedback, what you've learned. And the fourth step is called incubation, where you take time to yourself and really incorporate what you've learned into your body of knowledge. So if somebody is living paycheck to paycheck and struggling, they got to ask themselves, is what I'm doing if I keep doing this every single day? Is it going to change. And if not, then they got to start looking for new answers. They want to be comfortable and it's the killer. It's the killer. If you just want to be comfortable, then just know that as long as you want to be comfortable, nothing's going to change and you're not going to try to get the outcome.[00:42:15]Speaker 2: For people to be from moving to them, from unconscious competence to conscious competence, would probably take the Rich Woman education. You must invest in yourself so that you can up level your financial knowledge and really your financial education. Here at Rich Woman. [00:42:40]Speaker 3: Most women, they love to spend money. We love to shop, we love to spend money, right? So at the two day seminar, we're just going to talk about how to spend money differently, how to spend it, what to spend it on, instead of spending it on shoes and handbags and all that good clothes and all of that stuff. We're going to talk about how to spend your money so that it makes you money and it makes you financially free. Again, it's not rocket science. It's just rethinking changing your mindset to think a different way, to see things differently. For example, everybody's talking about a big crash that's coming. There's probably a global economic crash that's going to happen. Well, if that happens, especially, let's say for real estate, when a real estate crash happens, that's the best opportunity to buy your investments that are going to make you a lot of money. It's just like when clothes go on. When the store has a big clothing sale, we all go in and buy because it's cheap. Well, when there's a real estate crash, it's cheap. You go in and buy. But unless you know what to look for, unless you know a good deal from a bad deal, you're going to miss the opportunity.[00:43:53]Speaker 3: So right now at our event, we're going to talk about how do you find a good deal versus a bad deal? How do you spot a good business from a bad business so you know what to look for as you're looking into your future.[00:44:09]Speaker 2: Wow, this is really exciting. We will know exactly what to look for.[00:44:16]Speaker 3: They don't know what questions to ask. They don't know what to look for. So probably the best way to say it is these two days, we're going to open your eyes for that.[00:44:24]Speaker 2: Wow, this is really awesome. So I'm really very excited. And the last question is, what's your greatest attribute to your success?[00:44:38]Speaker 3: The greatest attribute to my success? I never stopped learning. There we go. I never stopped learning. And I work on this and I work on my personal growth. I'm always looking at my beliefs, my thoughts. I mean, if one thing, if you took nothing away from this webinar right now, one thing, be aware of your thoughts. Just every once in a while, listen to your thoughts. Listen to your belief? Because I catch myself all the time, every day with this negative thought, this negative belief, and I stop myself and I catch myself, and I go, okay, so is that serving me or not? If we can start to be more aware about what our thoughts are, what our beliefs are, what we're saying to ourselves, what we're saying to other people, that's huge. And we talk about one of the keys to my successes that would be one of the keys to my successes is being aware of all that selftalk and that self chatter and that little voice in your head, as the singer would say.[00:45:43]Speaker 2: Do you have a favorite quote that keeps you motivated or keeps you going? Kim.[00:45:54]Speaker 3: There's a quote by I think it was Emerson. I think it was Emerson. He said, Nothing happens until something moves. Nothing happens until something moves. And to me, that says, if you're not in motion and you're not moving, nothing's going to happen. So I like to set goals for myself that I don't know if I can accomplish them. And then what I do is so, for example, with the book Rich Woman yes. I set a deadline on when the book we set a deadline on when the book was going to launch, and then everything from there went backwards. And so I said, okay, I agree to that. That means I got to get the book written by this time. I got to get this done. I got to get this done. And I also have people around me who are counting on me to deliver. So that's one of my keys for a goal. I set a goal, I set a deadline, and then I have people that are counting on me, so I don't want to let them know.[00:46:58]Speaker 2: Wow. So it's not just your own responsibility, but also your responsibility to others.[00:47:04]Speaker 3: Yes. And in order to be successful, you've got to have a good team of people. And the most number one factor for me and I learned this the hard way is I only want to be around people and deal with people who I trust, and that's huge. So, for example, Richard and Veronica success resources. We've known each other for 22 years. I trust them explicitly, but I only want to deal with people I trust. Too many people are only in it for the money. So if your goal we talk about goals. If your goal is to make money, if that's the goal, if you're starting a business and the goal of your business is to make money, chances are you're not going to make it because that goal is not strong enough. When you hit the obstacles, when you have the setbacks, when you have the negative responses, when you have all of the problems that will come from being a business owner, if your whole goal is just to make money not strong enough, you've got to have a real strong reason why you're in business. What's your purpose? What's the bigger picture? What is it for you that's going to keep you going through that adversity?[00:48:17]Speaker 3: That's key?[00:48:19]Speaker 2: Wow. So much. Thank you. Kim, thanks so much for sharing with us so much of your wisdom today. I really enjoyed it. I really enjoyed the conversation with you. And I really look forward to seeing you here in Singapore as well.[00:48:35]Speaker 3: I love Singapore. It's such a great spot, and the people there are fabulous. We always have a good time. And the reason we do a women only event is because we want to create a very safe, sacred place where women can share and be open and maybe talk about things that other times I wouldn't talk about. So it becomes a very intimate environment and very powerful, too.[00:49:00]Speaker 2: Do take action. Wait no further. Because you need to step out of your comfort zone and go invest in your financial future. Be a Rich Woman.[00:49:13]Speaker 3: It's time for you to invest in yourself.[00:49:15]Speaker 2: Yes. All right. So thank you, guys. Thank you and take care. Bye bye.[00:49:21]Speaker 3: Bye bye.[00:49:23]Speaker 1: Thank you for joining me today. I'm so honored to have you here. FWEP0001 Do not be fooled by Genecia's impeccable appearance. Have been crowned as Miss Singapore and Miss Singapore International, many are quick to think Genecia was born with a silver spoon. However, behind this beautiful face there is a hardworking and self-sacrificing woman in power. This young lady had it all, but easy. As a teenager she was forced to put herself through her education by teaching an array of wellness classes such as: yoga, aerobics and line dancing. These years of hardship molded her and lead her to become the founder of Soul Rich Woman, where she educates and elevates women to realize their highest power.Interviewer: Elena CardoneThe architect behind many of Grant Cardone Enterprises' ventures, Elena is an experienced business woman, entrepreneur and investor with her and Grant's influence felt with Cardone Capital which is closing in on 5,000 units under management with a real estate portfolio valued at $1 billion.Connect with Elena Cardone: https://elenacardone.com/about/FWEP0001 Not Everything Is As It Seems - Women in Power Singapore with Genecia Alluora In this episode, let me encourage you as a former Miss Singapore and Southeast Asia Woman of Excellence in 2010; and founder of Soul Rich Woman, the number one female entrepreneur network in Southeast Asia that connects more than 12,000 women across the region, with presence in 7 countries, including Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines, Vietnam, and Indonesia. Self-SupportingAt an early age of 14 I have learned to face challenges and took on responsibilities due to life's circumstances.(3:33)“A lot of people thought that when I was Ms. Singapore they think that I was born with a silver spoon. But it did not start that way I had to support myself through school since I was 14 years old, teaching Yoga, aerobics and line dancing through my school years so I put myself through college I put myself through university so it was really tough.” Financial CrisisDue to a financial crisis, I had to step up and think of ways to support myself and my family. I had to do sacrifices to make it through in life.(4:06)“At that time my dad lost everything due to the financial crisis. (4:20) Because of that I had to come up and do my own stuff and I think that has really molded me through my years and then after that I became an occupational therapist. (4:53) Back then I was the youngest instructor in Singapore and then I went on to do classes but it was not easy because when I'm seeing other girls doing things in their free time they are going to the movie, going for shopping and then I'm working after school.” Empowering WomenWhat I experienced during my teenage years gave me a better perspective on influence and how it can be used to empower others.(5:47) “I've come along way with my experiences, now it's time to share and shortcut other woman's journey and empower others because empowered women empower others.(6:45) After that I took on these skills, I went on to coach and mentor many women to transform their confidence from being ugly duckling to be more confident and become the better version of themselves.” The motivation to changeAs I moved up the ladder and gained success, I realized I needed more freedom and not be bound by time and money.(6:56)“Because I went through that transformation myself too. That movement actually gave me the confidence to do more in my life. In 2012-2013 I told myself I'm no longer going to trade time for money because as an image consultant you work you get paid when you stop working you don't get paid. So I said I want to move this online.” Process of growthYou need to expand and broaden your horizons to progress in life. You need to invest in yourself too.(7:21) “So I went through a process seeking mentors, looking for coaches to coach me on the process spent hundreds and thousands of dollars looking for resources to grow my knowledge. (7:38)I worked my way up then I took my vision of helping more women to be more confident and then I started a platform called “You are possible academy” because I launched my own book in 2013, it's about personal branding then after that I went online.” A heart for womenDespite the success that I attained there was still something missing, I felt like I wasn't where I was supposed to be.(8:25) “During this whole period my heart has always been with the women even though I was doing the retail business. It was tough, because there was a calling at the back of my head like “Genecia you gotta do this” you can't just give up the women and just do a coffee retail chain. Move up and do more.” Stepping stone (11:15) “You know back then, I was bullied I was really bullied by mean girls in school. You know I was poor, I really didn't have any money to change my bag or even to change my clothes besides my school clothes.”I faced the roadblocks in my life. From adjusting to our family's financial situation to being bullied at school and doing jobs while studying. These situations could have hindered me, but instead of viewing them as stumbling blocks I used them as stepping stones to reaching my dreams. Key Takeaways: Success is not determined by financial status. Life's changes should not stop you from pursuing your dreams. Keep learning, keep growing. Do not give up on what you are most passionate about. Roadblocks are stepping stones. I hope you enjoyed these episodes.[00:02:23]Speaker 3: Welcome to this week's episode of Women Empower. Today, I have Ms. Genecia Alluora. She is Woman Empower Singapore. She has won Miss Singapore and Miss Singapore International. She represents Singapore not only once, but twice. Who does that? This woman, that's who. She also founded and is the creator of Soul Rich Woman Asia. And she connects about 200,000 plus women in the entrepreneurial space and really educates and elevates and motivates women to represent themselves at the highest level. So, without further ado, thank you so much for being on the show. It is such an honor and a pleasure to meet you.[00:03:12]Speaker 4: Thank you for having me on your show.[00:03:14]Speaker 3: It is wonderful to have you. So, okay, bring me back so my audience can understand. Have you always just been this successful go getter type woman or was this something you developed? How were you raised?[00:03:30]Speaker 4: Well, a little bit of my back story. A lot of people thought that when I was Miss Singapore, they think that I'm born with a silver spoon.[00:03:38]Speaker 3: That's what everyone would think. Looking at you, you looked so beautiful and so together and so intelligent. It's like, okay.[00:03:45]Speaker 4: Well, it didn't start that way. I had to support myself through school since I was 14 years old, teaching yoga, aerobics and line dancing through my school years. So I put myself through college. I put myself through University. So it was really tough.[00:04:01]Speaker 3: So why did you have to support yourself at 14 most?[00:04:05]Speaker 4: Well, at that time, my dad lost everything due to the financial crisis.[00:04:10]Speaker 3: Was this in 2008?[00:04:13]Speaker 4: Way back more.[00:04:15]Speaker 3: Way back more. Okay, well, you're way young to me.[00:04:17]Speaker 4: Okay. Yeah. And because of that, I had to come out and do my own stuff. And I think that has really molded me through my years. And then after that, I became an occupational therapist.[00:04:31]Speaker 5: Wow.[00:04:32]Speaker 4: Yes.[00:04:32]Speaker 3: So at 14, when the crash happened, your father lost everything. Did he say you have to go to work or was this now an initiative that you took on your own?[00:04:42]Speaker 4: My mom kicked my ass. She pawned her gold, her jewelry to give me the money to do the certification as an instructor. So back then, I was the youngest instructor in Singapore, and then I went on to do classes. But it was not easy because when I'm seeing other girls doing things in their free time, they are going to the movies, going for shopping, and then I'm working after school. So can you imagine waking up 05:00 a.m. in the morning to go to school?[00:05:12]Speaker 3: Not at 14.[00:05:13]Speaker 4: And then 12:00 p.m. 1, you finish class after that project work, you finish about 4, and after that I rest for about an hour, take a quick nap, and I rush for classes back to back from 07:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.. Wow. And by the time I reach home, I'm really exhausted. And that went on for many years.[00:05:34]Speaker 3: So that's what I call the sacrifice phase, which you probably didn't appreciate at the time. [00:05:38]Oh, I totally hated it. [00:05:40]You hated sacrifice phase. Are you now glad that you did sacrifice phase?[00:05:45]Speaker 4: Yes, definitely. Because I've come a long way and I have experiences. Now, it's time to share and shortcut other women's journey and empower others. Because empowered women empower others.[00:05:59]Speaker 5: Right. And so, when you finally got to this point in your life where you feel like, was it just an urge? Where you felt like, now it's my responsibility to help fast track other women, what point was that? Was it like a certain amount of money you made? Or when were you like, okay, I now know how to take care of myself, I want to branch out and help others now.[00:06:23]Speaker 4: In 2006, I won miss Singapore and I became an image consultant. And that because of my experience teaching and training and coaching. Having the extra skill set was quite easy for me to move forward. My clientele grew. They were CEOs of companies, directors of companies, as well as politicians here in Singapore. After that, I took on this skill and I went on to coach and mentor many women to transform their confidence from being an ugly duckling to a more confident version of themselves. So because I went through that transformation myself too, that movement actually gave me the confidence to do more in my life. In 2012, 2013, I told myself, I'm no longer going to trade time for money. Because as an image consultant, you work, you get paid. You work, you get paid, you work, you get paid. When you stop working, you don't get paid. So I said, you know what? I want to move this online. How can I go online? So I went through a process seeking mentors, looking for coaches to coach me on the process. Spent hundreds and thousands of dollars looking for resources to grow my knowledge.[00:07:31]Speaker 3: So you invested on yourself?[00:07:33]I invested in myself. [00:07:34]How did you have hundred and thousand of dollars?[00:07:36]I saved over the years.[00:07:37]Speaker 5: Wow.[00:07:37]Speaker 4: I worked my way up, and then from there, I took my vision of helping more women to be more confident. And then I started a platform called you are Possible Academy because I launched my own book in 2013. It's about personal branding. Then after that, I went to I went online. Right. That's when I make my first pot of gold.[00:08:01]Speaker 5: Wow. The first pot of gold[00:08:02]Speaker 4: Across my first pot of gold was when I make my first million dollars.[00:08:08]Speaker 3: Wow.[00:08:08]Speaker 4: And then I invested and started a cafe retail chain. We were in three countries singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia.[00:08:17]Speaker 5: Wow.[00:08:18]Speaker 4: And then we had seven outlets. We exited to a public listed company owner just recently.[00:08:24]Speaker 5: Wow.[00:08:24]Speaker 4: During this whole period, my heart has always been with the women. Even though I was doing retail business and it was tough, and I was called to this it's just like calling the back of my head. It's like, Genecia, you got to do you got to do this. You can't just give up the women and just do a cafe retail chain. You got to move up and do more. So during the time I was based in Indonesia for two years, running the caffe retail chain with my franchisee. I do online. I did webinars, I did online programs. I launched my membership program.[00:08:59]Speaker 3: Are you confident the whole time? Are you scared, like the first webinar you did or you're like, is this going to be a disaster? Do you ever have self doubt or is it just you just go in positive the whole way?[00:09:10]Speaker 4: It was tough because you didn't know how many audience were there. In fact, when I first switched on my webcam and used Google Hangouts back in 2013, there was zero viewers. You know.[00:09:20]I love that. [00:09:22]And it grew from one to ten and then to the first hundred. And that's how You Are Possible Academy grew. Subsequently, the women.[00:09:30]Speaker 3: How long did it take to grow?[00:09:31]Speaker 4: About three years. And I did about 1000 webinars probably every week. I did one every week. Wednesday at 09:00 p.m..[00:09:41]Speaker 3: They're free webinars.[00:09:42]Speaker 4: Free webinars.[00:09:43]Speaker 3: How would you think about the branding?[00:09:45]Speaker 4: Branding. How do you do funnels, marketing, automation? How do you become more confident?[00:09:50]Speaker 3: How long are they?[00:09:52]Speaker 4: By an hour.[00:09:53]Speaker 5: Good. Eleven.[00:09:54]Speaker 4: Okay. And then I kind of moved all these things online, and the women started to come in, and then they said, Genecia, can you not put your possible academy? Because Singapore's education system has so tuned us to, like, in school. So the women in my community feedback to me and said, Genecia, you got to choose a better name.[00:10:14]Speaker 3: No, they're not like, impossible.[00:10:17]Speaker 4: They don't like the name academy. They want something a little bit more, like, with depth and, like, with the inner academy.[00:10:24]Speaker 3: They don't like academy.[00:10:25]Speaker 4: They do like academy. I said, okay, let's do a rebranding. So in 2015, I did a rebranding. It's called Soul Rich Woman because all women have a soul. It's rich, wealthy, and we shine when we have confidence from within. So Soul Rich Woman.[00:10:41]Speaker 3: Okay, love this so far. If you said you went through the transformation yourself, were you an ugly duckling?[00:10:51]Speaker 5: No.[00:10:52]Speaker 4: Yeah, I was.[00:10:53]Speaker 3: Okay, so how does an ugly duckling, which is very difficult for me to buy, by the way, but I'm going to I'm going to buy because I have no reason to believe it would lie to me. But how does an ugly duckling go to Miss Singapore and Miss Singapore International. How did you even know you had it within you in the first place?[00:11:14]Speaker 4: You knew back then, I was bullied. I was really bullied by mean girls in school.[00:11:19]Speaker 3: Wow.[00:11:19]Speaker 4: You know, I was poor. I really didn't have any money to change my bags or even to change my clothes because I had the school clothes. So the mean girls would come to me, you know, PE lessons, what we call physical activities. They will pull my shirt, and then you'll pool open, and then they will see my bra, and they're like, oh, you're wearing the same bra again, like that. And there were times they took my school bag, and then he threw it across the classroom floor, and my books will be all over the floor, and you're like that. So myself. And things took a dip. But you see, I started when I was 14, and I told myself that whatever my family situation, maybe I'm not going to give up.[00:12:01]Speaker 5: Right?[00:12:02]Speaker 4: Yeah. So I took on.[00:12:06]Speaker 3: Did you feel that is the fuel to become determined to make it?[00:12:10]Speaker 4: I knock on doors and say, would you be willing to coach me in my public speaking? I knock on doors. Would you be open to willing to coach me on my image? Would you be willing to train me to walk and have good department? And that was when all these people, what they call the guardians, and people who really helped me and coached me, mentored me to become Miss Singapore.[00:12:34]Speaker 5: Wow.[00:12:34]Speaker 3: And what did that feel like, being crowned Miss Singapore?[00:12:39]Speaker 4: It was life changing, really, once in a lifetime opportunity, because for someone like me, it was a way out. And definitely it allowed me to travel the world. Since then, I've traveled more than what, 10-20 countries, 50 cities because of my title, Miss Singapore. It has given me so much privilege.[00:13:01]Speaker 3: Do people know who you are when you walk on the street?[00:13:04]Speaker 4: Yes. During that time, yes. But now, because I've taken a backseat, more focused on developing the platform Soul Rich Woman, so not so much in the front light, but fronting more on the business lines.[00:13:16]Speaker 3: So when you were crowned Miss Singapore knowing that you had been bullied, that you're the girl that has to go and chase your books around, how do you now wear this crown and now transition from feeling a certain way as that girl to now all of a sudden, people think that you're just that new girl, that new image. Don't you still have the same insecurities as the previous girl? And then what do you do? How do you transition into that life? You just kind of acknowledge them and move forward anyway.[00:13:48]Speaker 4: I'm very blessed to be Miss Singapore. Really, doors open for me, there were transformational causes that changed my life. I invested in myself, went for many, many different courses. In fact, in 2007, I went to Taiwan for a year and took on multiple transformational healing courses to let go of my past, my anger, my hatred, whatever, feelings that all women sometimes have a tendency to hold and play again, like a broken record. So I stopped completely on that, and my life completely flew from there. So it was kind of like a stepping stone.[00:14:28]Speaker 3: Do you feel like or maybe you don't even think about this question, but do you think Asian women have the same advantages as the Western society, culture, Americans, Europeans? Or do you think we're equal, or one has more than the other?[00:14:46]Speaker 4: I believe all women have the same rights, they have same opportunities, same things that have been given to us. However, at the end of the day, Asia is a different animal. We have Vietnam, we are in Malaysia, just race alone. We have different races, and in different races, we have different culture and dialects. And that different permutations because Soul Rich Woman is in Southeast Asia. We're in seven countries, and we're connecting almost 200,000 women across this region. And just alone when we travel to different countries, we have to be a little bit different because women at different phase of their life. Say, for example, when we went to Vietnam in Hanoi, the women in Hanoi versus women in Ho Chi Min are quite different. Women in Hanoi are a little bit more, they told me that they were stigmatized if they were to give up their jobs and go into entrepreneurship. Soul Rich Woman first went to Hanoi in Vietnam, we made a mistake. We didn't know. We were like, oh, you must do a business, have a side hustle. Let's build your empire.[00:15:54]Speaker 3: Right, right.[00:15:55]Speaker 4: And then they said, oh, no, but Genecia, this is not the culture here. Hanoi and Ho Chi Min are two different breeds of women.[00:16:02]Speaker 5: Wow.[00:16:02]Speaker 4: So that's when we learned, we said, oh, then what do you girls need? They say, we need more confidence in our daily lives to stand up for ourselves, to own our power, not just being a housewife and being a working person, but really be able to chase our dreams. That has been swept under the carpet for a very long time. So that was what we did in Hanoi. So that is why in different countries we do different things. Like in Malaysia, women are sighted for two main reasons why they are not able to step out because fear of failure and lack of support from family members. So that's why communities are so important. And that's why in Malaysia, we are also very strong. We have about 500 or 10 members over there. Wow. Supporting each other on your entrepreneurship journey.[00:16:51]Speaker 3: So what do you tell the woman who's struggling maybe with a cultural issue they want to step out, but they're not supported by their family and they don't have the confidence yet to do it, despite of or maybe they don't want to do it because they don't want to lose the respect or that's a toughy situation.[00:17:13]Speaker 4: Really tough.[00:17:14]Speaker 3: Did they come to you for advice? And if they do, what do you tell these women?[00:17:18]Speaker 4: So these women needed more confidence in looking at their dreams and finding the time to love themselves most. Because I find that the key to success for all women is self love. Only when you are able to love yourself, that's when you can give. But most women are empty vessels because they give their kids, they give their husbands, they give to household chores, they give to everything else but forgetting the self love is they key.[00:17:45]Speaker 3: And if they did that first, there would be more for the other.[00:17:48]Speaker 4: Yeah, that's right. Their cup is so full and overflowing.[00:17:52]Speaker 3: Yeah.[00:17:53]Speaker 5: Oh wow. That's awesome.[00:17:56]Speaker 3: And this Soul Rich Woman, what's your proudest success story that's come out of that? Do women tell you that she came from blah blah, blah and then went to what's a good transformational story that really said, I'm on the right path with this.[00:18:16]Speaker 5: Wow. I have heard hundreds of stories.[00:18:16]Speaker 4: That make it all worth it, right?[00:18:21]Speaker 5: Yeah.[00:18:22]Speaker 4: I think a lot of the women, the main thing amongst all female entrepreneurs, the key thing is always about the C word, which is confidence. But most importantly is the F word.[00:18:35]Speaker 3: The F word. I couldn't wait to talk to you about the F word. She has the F word. You want to tell them what it is?[00:18:42]Speaker 4: Yes. For women who love the F word, being fabulous, having freedom and financial independence.[00:18:50]Speaker 3: Okay, but first of all, does the F word translate as it does in America?[00:18:57]Speaker 4: We have the F word here.[00:18:58]Speaker 3: I say the F word.[00:19:02]Speaker 4: Just joking. But definitely for us, when I talk about the F word, why, I talk about financial independence and not financial freedom. Because the difference is financial freedom. Of course, you are free to do everyone, probably you have passive income. But for a lot of women, when you're first starting out, how do you even first make a dollar? How do you first even make a first thousand dollars if you're a stay at home mom?[00:19:27]Speaker 5: Right.[00:19:28]Speaker 4: How are you balance that?[00:19:30]Speaker 3: If you hadn't had education, you don't know what you want to do. You don't know what you're good at.[00:19:34]Speaker 4: Yeah, precisely. So you have to start somewhere. So if you are able to earn a $1,000 every single month, passively or online, through online businesses, can you imagine what life will change? You could buy the extra dress for your daughter.[00:19:48]Speaker 3: And is this financial freedom?[00:19:50]Speaker 4: This is more financial independence. That's why I said we want to focus on helping women to be more financially independent. They could be receiving some money from their husbands, that's fine. But could they do something more for themselves? And because of that extra money that they have on hand, they could be more independent to make choices for themselves.[00:20:09]Speaker 3: So let me ask you this. If they go for the financial independence and let's say they have the side job, they're selling makeup on the side online, but they're not neglecting any of their responsibilities as a wife, a mother, or whatever they agreed upon. So this income, does it go to the household or should it be hers or does that not matter? Separate or together?[00:20:32]Speaker 4: And it will be her decision. But what I usually see is women usually keep it and hold it for emergency or things that they are always wanted to do. You see, we women must have a voice.[00:20:44]Speaker 3: I'm the same way. I have our money and then I have my money.[00:20:48]Speaker 4: My money.[00:20:48]Speaker 3: But he has no problem with us having our money, and he has no problem with me having my money. And I love that. I feel really blessed in that area. I'm like, thank you. I don't know what it is in my brain that needs my little thing.[00:21:02]Speaker 4: Yeah. Because we need to make our own choices. And that's when we feel like we have a choice to choose whether we want to give you the money or we give our family the money or I give my own dreams the money.[00:21:14]Speaker 3: To reinvest in yourself. Because when I've heard you say a number of times in this interview.[00:21:19]Speaker 4: Yes. In fact, finding a mentor is why we created Soul Rich Woman was to help women to go from offline to online to be more confident and more customers make a positive impact in the world. If you can't even have a say in what you want to do and be always a victim of your own circumstances, then I'm here to kick some ass, you know, and really to get out of your comfort zone and go towards the dreams that you always wanted to achieve. So that is why being fabulous, having freedom and financial independence is so important.[00:21:57]Speaker 3: Yes. And this is what's brought you kind of, like, alive. I see it in you. It's your passion. And you want this for other women. [00:22:03]Speaker 4: Yeah, I do, too. [00:22:05]Speaker 3: I feel like happy, empowered women or that have the confidence in themselves, they have no need to try to destroy another woman, try to throw their books across the hall, because that came from something. Those girls have a problem. A happy woman or girl does not treat other people like that. You know what I'm saying? So it's like the more that a woman can help herself and find her own confidence, the more she just wants to help and love and nurture other people. I believe it's innately in us.[00:22:37]Speaker 4: That's right. Yeah, that's very true. In fact, I really believe that alone you are strong, together we are unstoppable.[00:22:46]Speaker 3: I say the same thing in this book, build an empire. I say I was raised to believe that I had to do everything by myself. Like, I had to be Miss Independent. Miss Independent. And I tried so hard, and I could only get, like, this far. And it just so happened that when I got together with my husband and that I actually started to depend on somebody else and trust somebody else, and then from there, we added to the team and grew. And now we have staff and people that help us and build. But there is no you're doing it on your own. No empire has ever been built on your own. It takes a team. It takes a village.[00:23:23]Speaker 4: Yes. When a woman is empowered, the whole village benefits.[00:23:26]Speaker 3: Yeah, I agree with that. Because she wants the best for everyone.[00:23:29]Speaker 5: That's right.[00:23:29]Speaker 3: Because she knows ultimately it's going to benefit herself and everyone involved.[00:23:34]Speaker 4: Yes. So when we empower one, we touch a life that one will pass on to the other. So we actually have a mentoring program for girls under 30. So this we actually have cash sponsorships from different women who are more wealth to do. So, they gave us their cash sponsorships, and they gave us so we fund this entire program in Singapore, where we help underprivileged girls, where they don't have those opportunities to learn skills beyond education, which is just the books and the four walls in school.[00:24:05]Speaker 3: Kind of like you.[00:24:06]Speaker 4: Yes. And then help them to give them an opportunity to because not everybody can be Miss Singapore let's put it this way. Can we give them a skill? Because when you give them a skill everyone can be an entrepreneur.[00:24:14]Speaker 3: Because everyone can be an entrepreneur.[00:24:17]Speaker 4: Everyone can be an entrepreneur.[00:24:18]Speaker 3: I believe I do, too.[00:24:19]Speaker 4: Yeah. So, through this program, we want to equip this girl's skill so they can start early. Why do you have to wait till you graduate?[00:24:29]Speaker 3: Why do you have to wait till you went through the whole decade or whatever it wants to figure it out. You figured it out. Here the here's the don't let you go.[00:24:37]Speaker 4: Why do you have to wait until you get married and have kids and then after a failed marriage, and then you come to me and then you say, Genecia, I need help. Why do you have to go through that? Can we shorten it?[00:24:47]Speaker 3: Yes. That's what I wrote this book for. I want to fast track the process .[00:24:51]Speaker 4: Precisely.[00:24:53]Speaker 3: Yes. So can you tell my viewers, can my viewers in America join Soul Rich Woman?[00:24:57]Speaker 4: Yes, you can help. So we definitely need help here in Southeast Asia. We need time, we need resources, and we also need cash, sponsorships. So time, if you are a volunteer, you can volunteer, with us to be let's say you have a skill that you want to share as an entrepreneur. You want to teach funnels. You want to teach how to overcome their mindset. We welcome you if you have resources, like a venue. So we work with people like Facebook, Mercedes-Benz. These are like partners who give us their resources so that we can bring the community together. And that makes a lot of difference.[00:25:30]Speaker 5: Right?[00:25:30]Speaker 4: So venue, if you have resources, like. A jet, for example.[00:25:32]Speaker 3:Girls we've done that.[00:25:36]Speaker 4: Girls who are underprivileged have never had a chance to do all these things. Right? And then if you have cash and money to help us as well, to fund the project to give girls because we want to buy them good things, we want to support the program, we want to give some trainers who help us pro bonu fees, right? We can't expect everyone to do for free because there is some sustainability within the platform itself. Right? So, yes, I took up my part of goal, which is my cafe retail chain. We exited a public listed company. I took out all my money and invested into the platform. So it has to succeed.[00:26:12]Speaker 3: It will succeed.[00:26:14]Speaker 4: There's no other option. It's like the way and the only way.[00:26:17]Speaker 3: And where can people like, if someone wanted to say, okay, I have $100, I have $1,000, I have 10,000, how do they reach you? Or how do they offer their time or their service?[00:26:27]Speaker 4: You can go to be.soulrichwann.com, which is b,e, dot, soulrichwoman. S-O-U-L-R-I-C-H-W-O-M-A-N Woman. Yeah .com.[00:26:41]Speaker 3: Okay. That's awesome. Okay, so before we wrap up, on our last note, what would be a 14 year old self if you had one piece of advice for her? When that backpack went across the wall, the books went and you just I'm sure you probably had a lump in your throat trying to hold back tears, what would you have told that you are now? What would you have told that little girl.[00:27:06]Speaker 4: Your past that's not equal to your future?[00:27:11]Speaker 3: Wow, that's heavy. All these women of the world made me so emotional. I've never cried on Women in Power before. I interviewed this woman last week in Dubai and she made me cry. And now you make me cry. You're so amazing. I cannot thank you enough for coming on this show. You made me cry to exposing this part of the world. And it's so amazing to me. That what I'm finding on my journey around the globe and meeting the women of the world, that we all want the same thing. We all want to help each other, not only ourselves, men as well. But we focus on ourselves for now. Yes. And we all want to make a difference and we all just want to be loved, be taken care of, take care of others. And it's really beautiful. It doesn't matter what culture you are, what religion, what culture.[00:28:05]Speaker 4: Yes.[00:28:05]Speaker 3: We all want the same thing.[00:28:06]Speaker 4: We all want the same thing. We want to be heard. We want our voices to be heard. We want to be seen. We want to be recognized.[00:28:14]Speaker 3: Yes. Thank you so much for being on the show.[00:28:17]Speaker 4: Thank you.[00:28:17]Speaker 3: You are such a beautiful soul. This is a Soul Rich Woman. Thank you so much. 144: 7 SIGNS YOU NEED TO WORK ON YOUR MINDSET[00:00:06]Speaker 1: Hey gorgeous, and welcome to today's episode. I'm your host, Genecia Alluora. Now, today I want to share the seven signs you need to work on your mindset. Now, when it comes to money, sooner or later there will be a wake-up call that happens for each of us.[00:00:25]Speaker 1: Maybe the last year has been a massive wake-up call for you. Your business might have to change completely because you realize that your old ways of marketing don't work anymore. Or maybe you've decided that life is too short to do the work that doesn't lock you up anymore. Often a bad client experience can be the wake-up call you need. There comes a time in every entrepreneur's life when you feel like throwing in the towel, giving up.[00:00:56]Speaker 1: After all, when you start a business, nobody really tells you how much is going to mess up with your confidence. Now, I just want to say this. You might have had all these moments yourself. Do you ever feel like there is an invisible glass ceiling holding you back from success? Maybe you've been stuck at a particular income level for years.[00:01:22]Speaker 1: Maybe you're telling yourself that you're too busy right now or the money isn't that important to you. Maybe you have conflicting feelings about wealth, worried that maybe it's not for you or that you have something to do something or you have to do something outside of your values to really make money or truly make enough money. If you are doing all that you can but still not making the financial breakthroughs, you know they are within your reach. It's time to do something different. You need a money reset.[00:02:00]Speaker 1: Now, if you are undercharging in your business, you feel like you're pushing against the flow of money and can't figure out why it's so hard, I've got some answers for you that might just crack the code. I'm Genecia Alluora, founder of the number one female entrepreneur network here in Southeast Asia and also a money mindset coach. I also created the Soul Rich Women Blueprint that has helped thousands and tens of thousands of women to go breakthrough and own and love their F-word, being fabulous, having freedom, financial independence, and a happy family. I did not grow up with a good relationship to money and yet I've created millions of dollars in business revenue working to my strengths and also wrote books, personal development books. And all I can say is we all can have it all.[00:03:06]Speaker 1: So if you think you might need to get another certificate or lose another ten kilos or somehow magically become the perfect you before you can make money, I'm here to tell you that that is bullshit. Now, I have the seven signs for you that money mindset is actually the next crucial step. If any of these seven reasons are true for you, then you'll love to work with me further. Now, reason one, you know it's your time. Finally this year you set big goals, thinking that this will be the year that your dreams come true.[00:03:47]Speaker 1: You might even have a book that is sitting on your computer 90% done or program or course that's ready to launch. But something's just stopping you. Every day you wake up and you think now it's the time, now it's the right time. But the moment your income doesn't match up with your intelligence or with your degree or potential and the gifts you offer up to the world, you are tired. And you are tired of waiting for someone else to choose you, or you deem that you are ready to earn more.[00:04:26]Speaker 1: I'm sure you're frustrated in yourself that you haven't done it yet. But maybe today is the day and you know that it's now or never. And I see that for you. And I'm here to help you to make it come true. Reason two, you love personal development, but the money hasn't shown up yet.[00:04:50]Speaker 1: Well, you could be feeling like a fraud or flaky person right now, because you're doing everything that's right, but it's just not working. I bet you have a dream board, a vision board, or you journal your goals regularly and you are a very positive person. You probably read every book that talks about making money, abundance under the sun. But you feel like there's still a missing puzzle piece. It feels unfair.[00:05:24]Speaker 1: If you're honest with yourself, you know that you've been sabotaging money behaviors that is working against you, but you can't really change them. Well, that's really normal. Reason three, you don't earn what you're worth and you suspect that you're worth a lot more. The charge what you are worthing gets a really bad reputation, especially when we talk about it here in Soul Rich Woman, you need to charge your worth. [00:05:53]Speaker 1: Do less about the training, there should be a boundary. But you know, it really gets a bad reputation when we talk about these things. It's because women don't see that they are worth the amount and they're always using the excuse or that sentence. Women should just help women. Why should I charge or get someone to pay me for my products or services?[00:06:21]Speaker 1: OK? I mean, you can't put a price tag on yourself as a human being, you are priceless. But guess what? Your business isn't. You actually have to name a price.[00:06:36]Speaker 1: Every day I meet people. I meet women who are simply undercharging. They are doing pro bono work all the time. They are struggling to survive. Or even if they are well to do, they are not able to scale their business to the next level.[00:06:58]Speaker 1: They know it, but they feel powerless to do anything about it. You might know it too, but you're still getting feedback that you are too expensive. Why should you charge when you're helping other people? You should be doing for free, you should be doing cheaper. And even when you know that you are drastically undercharging.[00:07:21]Speaker 1: And that's usually the problem. When you undercharge, you energetically attract clients who will never be happy, who are usually complainers, and people who will step on you to go to the next step or face. And that's really so frustrating. Reason four, you want to live a first class, amazing life, but you're stuck in the rut. You're stuck in your cupboard.[00:07:53]Speaker 1: I mean, I've been there and it sucks. You are sick of compromising areas in your life, like where you stay, what you eat, how you are treating your family, because we're talking about owning and loving the F-word. So being fabulous, freedom, financial independence and a happy family. So you're kind of sick of compromising all these four F-words in your life. Where you live, how you dress or how you travel.[00:08:21]Speaker 1: It's exhausting, super tiring to have to justify every single dollar, every single cent. Think about it. Wouldn't it be nice and cool to have a peace of mind that you can always make more money? You're seeing other women rapidly increasing their income and you are kind of jealous. Yes, don't look left, look right.[00:08:46]Speaker 1: Yes, I'm speaking to you right now. Sometimes you're kind of jealous that it's not you. All right, it's okay to admit it. Reason number five, you already know that you need a money mindset makeover. Maybe this isn't the first time you've checked out my work or listened to my podcast or been to my website or seen my landing pages of my programs.[00:09:18]Speaker 1: You might even have gone through situations when you think, I've got to sort this out. For example, when you start to perspire, when you talk to an accountant or anyone official or officially about money. Or you sit and procrastinate, like sending out invoices. People send me their confessions all the time and say that they are so scared about money, in particular, talking about it and asking for it. You might even think you are really bad with money.[00:09:52]Speaker 1: But I've never met anyone whom I have not helped or I can't help. You'll be surprised about how practical money manifesting can be. And it's not about lighting a candle under the full moon and just making wishes. It's about taking a practical inventory of your past experiences and examining it with all your beliefs and habits around money. Reason six, you feel like you repel money.[00:10:23]Speaker 1: Maybe you have a real feast or feminine relationship to money. You know how to manifest money quickly when you really need to. But it's not predictable or it comes at a great personal cost. Like, for example, you're really stressed out or burnout. When you have a good month, you often attract unexpected bills or fines that will wipe it all out.[00:10:48]Speaker 1: So you're always going like two steps forward and one steps back. Ten steps forward and three steps back. And that can be so frustrating. Reason number seven, you want to make more money, but you're also scared some people are surprised to learn that even millionaires are scared. Making more money doesn't make the fear go away.[00:11:15]Speaker 1: Same for me. Even at the stage where I'm at, making money is scary sometimes. Now, for example, you could be scared by your own personal potential because of your vision for your life is huge. You sometimes worry about what it would mean to be truly wealthy, that somehow it would turn into a negative experience. Or you would sabotage it in some way.[00:11:43]Speaker 1: Or you are worried that some history of ghost or past souls of people will come back and ask you for money. Or you're worried about your parents who ask you for money. You're worried about your relatives coming to ask you for money. If you are rich, you worry about tax bills because you worry about getting into trouble. You worry about losing your privacy or safety.[00:12:10]Speaker 1: You worry you get scammed. You worry about friends and family asking you for more money. You worry that it's actually going to be a huge negative experience. And you can see where I'm going. This is really common.[00:12:27]Speaker 1: And you can see these conflicting things and how much they could be holding you back. Okay, so that's the seven pretty big signs that you need to work on your money mindset. How much money do you think you have left on the table because of your money blocks? Maybe your wake-up call this year is that there's no time like the present to make your dreams come true. If you are still listening, it's pretty obvious that you have money blocks that you need to deal with.[00:12:59]Speaker 1: Everyone has their own flavor of money blocks and I'm here to help you identify yours and clear it. I've created a free masterclass to help you start clearing your money blocks and limiting beliefs and those sabotaging patterns. It will walk you through, step by step, through recognizing them and then dealing with the seven most common entrepreneurial money blocks, okay? But it all starts with your awareness. 142: 5 TIPS TO GET THROUGH THE HOLIDAYS WITHOUT TRIGGERING YOUR MONEY BLOCKS (TOO MUCH)[00:00:05]Speaker 1: Hello, gorgeous. And welcome to today's episode. I'm your host, Genecia Alluora. Today I want to share with you the five tips to get through the holidays without triggering your money blocks. Or triggering too much of your money blocks. Now we're talking about five things you can do to make sure your money blocks aren't traded too much over the holiday period.[00:00:28]Speaker 1: Now. This is the time of the year that can get very stressful for some people. But it doesn't have to because we are Soul Rich Woman. Now, I've got really some great tips for you today.[00:00:40]Speaker 1: The first thing I want to acknowledge is that holiday time can be really exciting for some people. And for others, it can be really stressful or even sad. So don't beat yourself up over it. Either way, especially for this year. It can be a triggering experience to spend time with your family and loved ones over this holiday season. Particularly if you have been spending a lot of time working on your personal development and money blocks, you still might be quite vulnerable to other people's energies.[00:01:12]Speaker 1: Now, here are some tips to get through the holiday period without triggering your money blocks too much. Number one, has a canned response. Now, this tip number one is a go to response when your family asks you about potentially triggering topics. This can really apply to questions about your business, so it pays to be prepared ahead of time. Now, you might have someone in your family who constantly ask you a how's your business doing right now?[00:01:43]Speaker 1: Or what are you doing for business again? Or you mean you change another business? Are you qualified to even do this? And they make you feel like shit. Here's the thing.[00:01:57]Speaker 1: You don't have to tell them about the ins and out of your business. You don't have to tell them how many clients you have, how much they pay you. You don't have to tell them anything if you don't want to. Here's a really simple go to response. It can be something like, hey, it's doing great.[00:02:18]Speaker 1: Thanks so much for asking. Well, there's a lot of things happening. I'm really, very excited. Thanks so much for your concern. As simple as that.[00:02:30]Speaker 1: Now, my family used to ask me about my programs or even my books, all the time. Because to them, a book meant real business. Having an online course or running something that is tangible. It looks tangible to them. So even though it was just a book or a program, it was just pretty a small part of my business.[00:02:50]Speaker 1: But to my family, it meant like, wow, you are real because you got a published book. You got this, you got that. So in the past, I would kind of tell a story of like well, actually, a book is just one part of my marketing plan. And, you know, right online course is something that I created because I'm very passionate about sharing. Actually, I have a lot more things in my business, blah, blah, blah. And I could literally see their eyes glaze over it, or that would lead to more uncomfortable, awkward situations and conversations about, oh, so you help people with money, but you're bankrupt.[00:03:34]Speaker 1: How does it work? Oh, so you help people with money, but you are doing okay only how does that work? Or you help people with their money, how does it even function or work in the online world? So I just decided my go to response was just going to be, oh, it's going great.[00:03:59]Speaker 1: Thanks so much for asking. It's really good right now. I'm excited about the things I'm doing now. Thank you so much for your concern. Easier said than done, Genecia.[00:04:08]Speaker 1: Okay, yes, I know, but the thing is, your business isn't any of their business, OK? And if telling them all the ins and outs lead to some awkward stuff or makes you feel like shit about yourself, then don't do it, my dear. Number two, change the subject. Which leads me to tip number two get really good at changing subject. Now this is what we call in NLP called Pattern Interrupt.[00:04:38]Speaker 1: Now you remember that game, I don't know if you've ever played it, but you take turns to ask each other questions and you are not allowed to say yes or no. And you had to counter with another question. So I got really, really good at that. And now you can do the same thing over the holidays. Instead of answering all the questions about business or your money or your bankruptcy or your debt or anything at all that makes you feel stressed. You know what get really good at changing subject.[00:05:15]Speaker 1: And you can say, oh, I love this steamboat that you have just made. What's in it? Yeah, I love this so bad. What ingredients do you use? Completely bypass what they've just asked you.[00:05:29]Speaker 1: Oh yeah, it's doing great. What about you? What's new on you? New on your side? What's going on with you?[00:05:36]Speaker 1: You know what, people love talking about themselves. So just turn the spotlight back on them so that you just put it back on them and it's easy. Change the subject again and again. Make it again to see how long you can avoid their questions. By the end of it, they'll feel great because people love talking about themselves and they'll be like, she's such a great conversationalist, she's such a great talker, she's such a great person to have at the table.[00:06:13]Speaker 1: Then it won't lead you down the path of talking about things that you don't want to or that could be potentially awkward. Number three, be clear about what you want. Now, this tip number three is all about presence. If presents trigger you, then there are a couple of ways around it. You could just straight ask people, what exactly you want for your present.[00:06:39]Speaker 1: Or tell people, what exactly you want for your present? Direct them don't just assume and don't make it a test of their love or their love language and then blame them later. Okay. Well, if they love me, my parents will finally get me the present I love. No, don't test them.[00:07:01]Speaker 1: Just tell them what you want. What's so difficult? Just say, right? That's really sure way of triggering all your old money stuff is going to continue if something has triggered you in the past. If you know that your parents are terrible at buying presents or your husband or whoever, and they have always forgotten what you like and they've always forgotten your favorite colors. Don't test them again and again to see whether they pass the test the following year of this year and see how much they love you. Correct. Just tell them upfront.[00:07:44]Speaker 1: Say hey. Mommy. Daddy. In case you need some guidance on what to get me for this holiday season, here's a link. Or you know what, I would love an amazing gift voucher. Make it really easy and just direct them. Don't worry about if you people don't buy you the right stuff, just tell them. Number four. You don't have to keep presents you don't like.[00:08:14]Speaker 1: Okay, which brings me to my fourth point. If you get presents you don't like and it does trigger old memories, you don't have to keep them. You can say thank you graciously, but you do not have to keep them. You can go straight from their house and drop it off at the charity store. Someone else is going to love that.[00:08:36]Speaker 1: If you get presents a bit before the holiday season of festive season and you open them and you don't like it, you rewrap it and donate to charity. A lot of times, a lot of places, a lot of events during these holiday seasons have wishing trees or where they will gift out to other people who are more in need of the gifts that you don't need. So someone else will love that. Just because someone's gifted you something, doesn't mean you need to make a shrine of it in your house. Keep it in like a white elephant in your home and then keep it forever.[00:09:22]Speaker 1: No need. It's okay and totally fine for you to declutter your stuff. I repeat, declutter your stuff that doesn't make you feel good and stuff that's not part of your first class life, not part of your F word life. Fabulous freedom, financial independence and a happy family. OK, then, of course, the question will be, I know you're going to ask me. Genecia, what happens if all of this doesn't work?[00:09:56]Speaker 1: Then what if like what people will say, Hey, I heard about your business. It sounds like you're ripping people off or you get terrible present. And you think, oh, for Christ's sake. Why don't you ever buy something else that I love or you just feel attacked from all angles and you feel really terrible about yourself. Well, here's tip number five for you, go do some EFT, Emotional Freedom Technique, otherwise known as tapping. Now, this has saved me many times in situations where I feel bad about myself. This was a technique I learned in 2008 and I think 2008 and I really love it so much. It's like my secret weapon when I'm going through emotional trenches and emotional, I will say lows. [00:10:46]So if you are in your family house and you are getting triggered, go into the bathroom and do a little bit of tapping. Ok, now I will know that you will say, even though I have these feelings, even though my family are annoying. Even though nobody loves me and by me presence that I like, I deeply and completely love and accept myself so say that to yourself. Even though I have these feelings, even though my family are super annoying, even though nobody loves me, it's not and buys me present that I like, I deeply and completely love and accept myself, then that way you are responsible for your own feelings.[00:11:33]Speaker 1: It might just be a temporary fix until you can get home, but that's OK just tap out all the ugly negative feelings so that you can move forward and be happier person during the session at your family's home. Now we are winding down now for the rest of the year. So I want to see from my family to yours, thank you so much for joining me at Soul Rich Woman, listening to my podcast, reading my blogs, the entire year or even watching my live shows, my live videos, my live streams. [00:12:12]You know, this might be even your first for some of you. You're like, who is this lady, who is this woman? But thank you so much for watching my live videos or listening to my podcast or even visiting my blogs. It has been such an absolute pleasure. I hope that you get everything that you want and even if you don't, I give you permission to go out there and buy them yourself. You are responsible for creating and owning your own F word and no one else can do it for you. Give yourself that gift, being fabulous, having freedom, financial independence and a happy family.[00:12:57] Speaker 1: You can have it all, sending you my love and I'll speak to you soon. Bye for now.
THE END OF YEAR RITUAL TO FINISH THE YEAR WITH A BANG (Repeat from Ep 143)[00:00:03]Speaker 1: Hey, gorgeous. Welcome to today's episode. I'm your host, Genecia Alluora, founder of Soul Rich Woman and creator of the Soul Rich Woman Blueprint. On today's episode, I want to talk about the end of your ritual to finish the year with a bang. Now, for most, 2020 and 2021 have been a really rough year.[00:00:30]Speaker 1: No one could have predicted what the last 24 months have thrown at us. If you have made it through physically and emotionally in one piece, congratulations. You are amazing. And even if you haven't, that's okay too. Now, if you have had a good year, despite the obvious, then I want you to celebrate without guilt, without shame, without heartbreaks.[00:00:55]Speaker 1: However, the year has gone, and especially if things didn't go to plan, I recommend this year-end ritual to close out the year. And you have the power to completely change your experience this brand new year that's coming up. We know that when the clock tick tock, tick tock, tick tock over, nothing really magical happens. I mean, it's not Cinderella, right? I mean, it's just another day, like another moment. But I don't know about you, though, it really feels for me like a chance to completely shift things.[00:01:37]Speaker 1: I usually get pretty emotional and go through a decluttering and I would say decluttering journey when I reach the year-end and I move towards the new year because I love the energy of a new year. And this year, more than ever, I'm longing for a calm, health and happiness for all of you, even more and more of you to own and love the F word. So let's end the year with one really simple but profound end of the year ritual. This one has completely changed my life repeatedly. And it doesn't matter how hangover that you have on New Year's Day, OK?[00:02:25]Speaker 1: It's really a simple one to do or to do, even over the next two weeks. Now, this exercise is to make a list of everything, every single thing that you are proud of over the last year. Sounds easy, but trickier than it sounds. First, do this as a partner, OK?[00:02:50]Speaker 1: That's the key. So that you don't chicken out and get shy and say, I don't know, I don't know why I did. What things did I do good? Oh, I don't really do anything amazing. I was just at home working from home most of the time, staying at home, hiding at home. Okay, I know that's going to happen.[00:03:11]Speaker 1: So it's best to do this with someone who really understands you, who really sees you for you and your accomplishments and who will draw out of you, who will draw out all these list of things that you are proud of this year. So take turns asking each other what you're proud of. Start with I'm proud of and least things out. Like learning to live in a lockdown, not killing your partner, staying connected with your family, mastering Zoom, going for a walk wearing masks. Then you can move to business accomplishments.[00:03:53]Speaker 1: Then you can move to your tricky situations that you've dealt with, boundaries you have enforced, goals that you have achieved, personal accomplishments, awards that you have won, anything that you want to acknowledge yourself for. Don't be shy or modest. It's time to really shine a light on everything you have done because you deserve to shine. There is a diamond that is within you and you deserve to shine. And seriously, it's kind of hard to remember everything.[00:04:28]Speaker 1: So here's how to take it to the next level. When your partner simply asks you what else? And then silence. No prompting, no jumping in for their turn. Just ask the next question, what else?[00:04:42]Speaker 1: And wait. Keep asking until you have at least 50, 50 of the items that you are ever proud of for the past year. 50, so there's no like trying to chitchat or trying to look at your phone for social media, looking at your notifications, looking at your WhatsApp? No switch that all off.[00:05:08]Speaker 1: Put that one site, commit 30 minutes to an hour. Just doing this for partner. Remember, keep asking what else? What else? What else?[00:05:17]Speaker 1: Until you have at least 50. So there'll be lots of pauses. You'll want to think about the negatives or the not so nice experience. And when you think you're done, you'll say, okay, I forgot about this one. Just keep asking, what else?[00:05:35]Speaker 1: Now trust me, even after this year, you'll be buzzing at the end of it. So don't give up. The list of accomplishments and things you're proud of is important. But the question what else is extremely important too. You probably get stuck at about the fifth or the 6th things you're proud of because you just don't want to brag.[00:05:59]Speaker 1: You don't want to talk about accomplishments, you discount who you are, you discount your achievements or simply just forgotten or what I call kind of like a denial. You just live life and then just sweep it under the carpet and you don't think that's necessarily an important thing that is important. So did this year really, really suck? I once did this with a friend who thought that she had a bad year until we did this exercise. It took us about 45 minutes and she ended up with 42 things that she was proud of.[00:06:37]Speaker 1: But it took some digging. So that is why the question is so important. Keep asking and don't give up. Recognizing everything you've achieved in this phase of adversity is so good for you. It's awesome to remember everything.[00:06:55]Speaker 1: It's also great to manifest and to acknowledge all your wins, both big and small, so that you can attract even more luck and abundance into the new year. Work on a mix of business and personal as long as you get at least 30 to 50 good things. If you do it by yourself, eventually you run out of steam and move on to something else? Because you have a lot of noise between the two years haha. That's right.[00:07:29]Speaker 1: Noise between the two years of yours. So for best results, you need a partner to hold the space for you and gently ask what else, my dear? What else? As soon as you run out of good things to say about yourself, what else? When you think you haven't done anything good, what else?[00:07:53]Speaker 1: As soon as you think there's nothing else to celebrate, what else? If you tell yourself it was the worst year, what else? When you think you have written everything, what else? By the way, you don't have to do this as a year-end ritual. You could do this quarterly or even monthly.[00:08:22]Speaker 1: I would love you to share yours with me. Go for at least five. So tag me on Instagram or Tiktok or on Facebook with your list. You can find me at Genecia Alluora G-E-N-E-C-I-A-L-L-U-O-R-A. Tag me.[00:08:46]Speaker 1: I really love to hear them big and small. Please don't be shy. You should really break your ass off. Literally, just shine brilliantly with every good thing that you have done, okay?[00:09:03]Speaker 1: And next time, if you're having a bad day or have a read over all these 50 good things that you have done in the past year. And everything all awesome that you've accomplished, imagine just me sitting next to you and saying, what else? Every time you get stuck. What else, my dear? Time to close out this year and start writing a new chapter. Sending you my love and I'll speak to you soon.[00:09:35]Speaker 1: Bye for now.
98/192: What Professions And Industries Have The Biggest Money BlocksMoney blocks, money blocks, money blocks! Which do you think has the biggest money block? I have them, you have them, pretty much everyone has money blocks of some kind. It's pretty safe to say we all have money blocks, even if we don't know it yet. These blocks are pretty huge in themselves and I have a lot of resources for you to help to clear them, but let's dive into some common professions that we see here in Soul Rich Woman. Finance Professionals 08:44- 08:54 If you're a financial advisor or professional who feels ashamed because you are already in debt or your accounting is really a mess. 08:59- 09:07 You feel really guilty because you don't always follow your own advice perfectly and all these blocks are keeping you from helping more people. 09:15- 09:23 But you wonder why people would pay you to do their taxes? And to you, it's obvious and easy. Not for everyone. 09:24- 09:29 Understanding that money blocks will help you to attract more clients. Health and wealthiness and fitness professionals 03:12- 03:26 These money blocks are pretty huge in themselves and I have a lot of resources for you to help clear them but let's dive into some common profession that we see here in Soul Rich Woman and the blocks that they have. 03:27- 03:30 First, health and wealthiness and fitness professionals. 03:50- 03:57 Many people working in the health industry have beliefs and feel like, number one, “Good health should be free.” 04:00- 04:11 Number two, “I'm taking advantage of people's illnesses.” Number three, “I can't offer people's solutions or supplements because I should not be salesy.” 04:12- 04:18 Now the whole reason that people come to you when you're a health professional is to learn how to better take care of themselves. 04:43- 04:48 They come to you for knowledge and by you not giving them what you know, 04:53- 04:57 then you're not serving them to your best of your ability. 05:25- 05:34 You need to set boundaries. Now, these include asking for payment upfront, creating packages because that's how transformation happens. Universal blocks 02:52- 03:11 Here are some of the most common universal blocks that I have always seen. “I have to work really hard to make money.” Number two, “I don't deserve or I'm not good enough to be wealthy or to be rich.” Number three, “I can't help people and make money.” 07:59- 08:03 Remember yourself that clients are coming to you for your skills to hold them accountable. 05:03- 05:12 This affirmation, “I serve, I deserve.” is a really good one to use as a patent interrupter for those sources of blocks. 05:13- 05:22 It reminds you that you're being served to people and it's okay to charge in return for your expertise and experience.Key Takeaways: Health and wellness professionals. Bonus Episode for Season Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/leeyongtehInstagram - https://www.instagram.com/d_t_l_y/Linkedin - https://www.linkedin.com/in/deon-teh-leeyong-573a0766/
Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/leeyongtehInstagram - https://www.instagram.com/d_t_l_y/Linkedin - https://www.linkedin.com/in/deon-teh-leeyong-573a0766/

Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/leeyongtehInstagram - https://www.instagram.com/d_t_l_y/Linkedin - https://www.linkedin.com/in/deon-teh-leeyong-573a0766/
Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/leeyongtehInstagram - https://www.instagram.com/d_t_l_y/Linkedin - https://www.linkedin.com/in/deon-teh-leeyong-573a0766/
Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/leeyongtehInstagram - https://www.instagram.com/d_t_l_y/Linkedin - https://www.linkedin.com/in/deon-teh-leeyong-573a0766/

Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/leeyongtehInstagram - https://www.instagram.com/d_t_l_y/Linkedin - https://www.linkedin.com/in/deon-teh-leeyong-573a0766/
Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/leeyongtehInstagram - https://www.instagram.com/d_t_l_y/Linkedin - https://www.linkedin.com/in/deon-teh-leeyong-573a0766/

139: DoNation By Laurus Enterprises Interviews Genecia AlluoraToday's episode is a really special one because I was part of a fundraiser, a charity event in the Philippines. But it's virtual. It's organized by Laura's Enterprises with the support of the world's largest event organizer who brings in Tony Robbins, T Haf Ecker, Robert Kiyosaki Success Resources Private Limited of Singapore. So this event is called Do Nation. Let's do it for the nation. There is a virtual charity learning event and aim to fundraise for front liners and event liners. I'm really blessed to be a part of this. So I hope you enjoy this interview and let me know if you love this episode. Genecia Alluora's Story of Bullying(09:43-11:24) I had to support myself at a very young age since I was 14 years old, and I wasn't able to kind of really build up my self-esteem well. So in school, I wasn't able to buy new clothes, new shoes, and therefore, I was often bullied in school because of my look. Imagine me with really short hair, maybe as short as yours. Rich, you have hair. Okay. So almost very short. And I have very dark eye circles, really bushy eyebrows, very tomboyish because of the way I was being brought up to defend myself, to defend for myself, and not with a lot of money in my pocket. I wasn't able to present myself well, I didn't have a lot of confidence, so I was always the spot where people would bully me. The girls have cornered me at the basketball court. I remember one time, and then they pull over my PE shirt, exposing my bra, and then one of them will actually say, oh, you're wearing the same bra. And I felt totally humiliated. Humiliated. So throughout my years, I was consistently being bullied because of my background, and I lost my self-esteem. In fact, there was one other incident that shook me up that I didn't even want to think about joining a beauty pageant because totally, I lost myself completely. There were times that they took my bag. My bag has holes in them, and they threw it across the classroom floor. And all my books were strewn all across the floor. And at that moment in time, I wanted to commit suicide. I just wanted to die. Her Journey Towards Joining Beauty Pageant(11:27-11:50) My self-esteem continued to go downhill. But you see, we are the average of the five people we hang with the most. And sometimes when we don't have coverage, we don't have bravery. We lost ourselves. It's the people around us who will support us and give us that support. And my friends believed in me. My friends saw the potential in me and say Genecia, you should just join a beauty pageant. Just go for it.(12:03-12:07) And my friends, eventually they enrolled me to join Miss Singapore.(12:11-12:24) And the best part was, I wasn't groomed. I didn't have a lot of money to buy a pair of heels. In fact, I could only afford one pair of black color heels. But in any beauty pageant, you need to have one black and one silver. And you have to have clothes for multiple events.(12:35-12:44) So I went to knock on doors, and eventually, I found someone who was willing to give me a sponsorship to teach me how to do public speaking. (12:46-13:18) Her name was Rebecca. And she gave me all the DVDs, CDs, her notes, and everything possible. She gave it to me. And then she said, can you give me your wallet, your bank? And I was a little bit blurred and naive at the time. Okay. I just passed you my bag, and she took out my wallet, unzip my wallet and pour all the money I have in my wallet. And I'm like, Rebecca, why are you taking all my money? That's all that I have. $60 is all that I have for the month for my food and transport and everything else.(13:36-13:56) And I told myself since you took all my money, I have no money. Right. So I better study hard and make sure I do well in my pageant. Right. So eventually I scored really well, and I won Miss Singapore International in 2006 because of Rebecca's teachings, public speaking, learn how to groom myself. All because I took the first step to commit to my success. Concept of Value Exchange Pushed her to do well in Pageantry(16:24-16:57) I think I never really understood the power of value exchange until much later in life. But definitely, when I looked back, I finally understood why she took that $60. There may be very little to some of you, the listeners, audience who's watching this right now, but for me, it was a lot back in those days. So we talked about the value, the proportion of the value that you have right now in your pocket when you give, whether it's 100 pesos or how much you're giving. It's not how much you give, but how much you have that you're actually giving. Her Message to People who are Struggling. (20:46-21:21) Don't think that you are alone because there's someone else out there. I totally get you. If you have depression and anxiety, it's time and possible for the journey. Just know that someone has gone before you and someone has overcome before you. So be an Overcomer. Learn to Ask for Help don't feel like you're being judged if you ask for help or if I ask for help means I'm weak, means I'm lousy, means I'm no good. But if I hadn't asked for help, I hadn't had friends who gave me that support. I will not be here today and be able to do more with my life. (21:23-21:36)So I want to encourage you to really step out of your comfort zone and really ask for help. Don't feel that someone else is judging you. Always know that there is a brighter, lighter hit at the end of the tunnel.Does and Don'ts in Starting a BusinessDon't be an Automatic Expert on Certain Things.(28:21-28:41) So to really do a cafe business, you need to don't become like a chef, you try to start a restaurant. You hold a camera, you think you're a photographer, you hold an iPhone, you think you're a blogger, you have a website, you think you are a blogger or something like that along the line. So don't think that you know how to be a barista. You can make a cafe. Don't Do Retail Business in this Covid-19 Season(28:50-29:14) I would say in this Covid-19 season, don't really start a retail business anymore. I will recommend you to reinvent the idea into a kiosk and then do takeaways, something that is duplicatable, something that is easy. Similar concept to bubble tea. Do something that is easy for people to take away with. I think that would be a better choice.Get a Franchise(30:21-30:36)If you were to do a cafe, get a franchise, that is the easiest way to get started, even though it could be a little more pricey. But that investment that you put upfront guarantees you that you have a system and process that's proven and you can make money immediately. (30:49-30:57) Why? Because the brand is really known in the market and it's easy for people to trust you and know that your coffee is good. (31:07-31:13) Other than that, the brand actually has a trust factor involved. So definitely that will work in itself.Build a Team(31:24-31:44) I think one thing that I found success in the cafe business and I've learned is by having a team, we could put our skillset and strengths together and we are not functioning alone. And because we're not alone, we could easily put the processes together and eventually create something that's worthy of selling. How did Genecia Maximize her time?(40:38-41:11) Maximizing my time really means really sticking to my schedule as if I am doing the business as I would do before and after Covid. I think that in itself is a state of mindset where you can't tell yourself, oh, because it's Covid, therefore, I am not going to function the way I am. I'm going to sleep in a little bit more. I'm going to lazy around a little bit more. I mean, you could do exactly just that. But what is your vision? What is your big why? I think that is the question I want to keep reminding myself. (42:31-43:15) When I maximize my time, I want to always keep my vision in mind, keep that idea of why am I doing what I'm doing? Maximizing time also involves using management tools. I would highly recommend you to check Asana. Asana is a project management tool that is super useful. I have a team of 21 in the Philippines and they are all in Davao and I manage them all on my tools via Skype and Asana. And maximizing my time also means delegating 80% of my to-do list to them. So I only do 20% of my to-do list functioning in my zone of genius. Why Delegation is Very Important in Maximizing Time? (48:45-49:35) All you need is just to have $50 for a task that you completely hate to do. Like for example, bookkeeping like, for example, posting on your social media, getting things scheduled and posting things out, things like that can be easily outsourced and delegated for just $50 a week or $50 a month. It doesn't have to be, oh, I have to hire a full-time employee. It can be just a task or two, three tasks bundled together. As long as the person gets things done for you, you can go bit by bit. The two of the biggest mindset blocks for all the entrepreneurs I see, female entrepreneurs alike, is that they have this mindset of I can do better than the virtual assistant, I can do better than my employees.(49:39-49:44)But the thing is you're forgetting that you could maximize and function in your zone of genius.(50:04-50:10) And number two, the other block that a lot of entrepreneurs have is that they need to spend a lot of money to do delegating. Why Investing in Yourself Matters?(54:07-55:17) I will invest in myself, go for a program that will change and transform either my skill set and then also my mindset. I think the skill set is something that I've learned that nobody can take away from me. I started when I was 14 years old, had to support myself through school as yoga, aerobics, and line dancing instructor because I started when I was 14 teaching classes, being able to move a class of 100, to move a group in a Stadium of 1000, that gave me the skill set, to be able to give instructions whether it's in a small group or big group at a very young age. And that was why I was given the opportunity to work with politicians, CEOs and celebrities. Because of that, I had the advantage over other people when I was doing my business when I was an image consultant and doing my business, and I looked at the whole course on its own. So if I were to only have $1,000, I would do the same. Invest in myself, look at the skill set that is the future that people want. Why Action is Needed to Reach Your Goals?(55:26-56:33) One of the greatest swimmers of all time in Singapore, his name is Joseph Schooling. He won an Olympic gold, our very first Singapore Olympic gold just a few years ago. For Joseph Schooling to win an Olympic goal, he had to hire a coach to coach him how to swim in the pool. But did the coach need to jump in the pool to swim? For Joseph Schooling on the day of the Olympics, the answer is no. Joseph Schooling will wake up five to 06:00 a.m. Every single day and swim and worked his ass off to eventually winning the Olympic goals. So even if you invest in yourself to find a skill set that eventually will pay your bills, you must take action to jump into the pool and swim to achieve your Olympic goal. Like Joseph Schooling, the coach and mentor of the course can only guide you through, give you the system, the process that you can take you there because it's proven, but it takes you all your energy, 100% to swim through, to end, to finish line. Why Genecia's Mother is the Greatest Woman for her?(00:59:27-01:00:31) I look at my life now where I am, if not for her, I would not be where I am today. Like, set up pawning her goal to send me for instructor certifications, which I hated her for. Like, why do I need to work at a young age? Why do I need to do this to want to share with you my depression, my committing suicide, going through different relationships in life. And my mom has always been there, even though sometimes as a daughter, we are rebellious, we are running, going through our own course in life. So for me, I think I'm just being human and looking at my mom, I want to honour her. Even up to now, I would say my mom is still the greatest person ever. And I will say whatever I'm doing now is role modelling after her because she's also a leader in the community. She guides other women. She teaches other women how to live a confident, fulfilling, healthy life. And I'm exactly doing the same. Just an online version.Tips to Embrace our Mothers and Honour Them.Philosophy and Principles (01:03:10-01:03:24) I totally disagree with her most of the time. But over the years, I invested myself a lot in personal development, inner healing work. I do so much of that that I realized that choose to be happy, then choose to be right. Embrace her Indifferences.(01:03:29-01:04:09) She has gone through her own journey and education and her life experiences. So when she says certain things about you, about your work, about your life, just let her say because she has gone through her journey to be what she is today, there is definitely a generation difference to where we are now. So just be open-hearted and love her and embrace who she is. And that is one thing, one of the biggest lessons that I've learnt, embracing my mother and our differences. And I no longer think that I need to be right. I always choose to be happy and I just listen to her and just smile and not my head, even though I disagree What drove Her to build the Sole Rich Woman?(01:05:57-01:06:08) I was trapped in the nine to five red race for about a year because I was already making more working part-time and as an instructor. And I decided that I think nine to five isn't for me.(01:06:23-01:06:58) I feel that my life has been called for. So I went into image consultancy because my pageant winning Miss Singapore has really opened doors for me. And getting that specification as an image consultant did help me to pass ways to get to know more. I would say more influential people like your network goes to your net worth. So I think that really has helped me tremendously. But I was trading time for money. By work, I get paid, I work, I get paid, I don't work, I don't get paid. So that in itself I struggled and I was looking for a way out to go from offline to online, to bring my business online. How Mentoring Helps her in Building Soul Rich Woman(01:06:59-01:07:39) And how can I really make my first million? And that was just what I was thinking. I have never made my million before. I gotta do it myself. How can I get there? I invested in a mentor eventually. And his name is James Wee. He's also my partner in the cafe retail chain. He's also now the partner and the man behind So Rich Woman. So, yes, even though I run Soul Rich Woman, I'm the founder, but he's the man behind looking at all the different strategies and how we are charting out the cash flow and all these things. So it's very important. What is the Vision of a Soul Rich Woman?(01:07:40-01:08:22) I went online knowing that I can empower and equip more women to shortcut their success, to own and love the effort, be fabulous, have freedom, financial independence, and above all, family. I don't want women to start going round and round in circles because I feel that there's just so much time wasted when you're just going round and round in circles. There is definitely a way to shortcut your success, to reach your goal in a shorter period of time if you have the right mentor and the right community. Because when a woman changes her life, her entire community benefits. And alone, you are strong. But together we are unstoppable. What is the Most Important Lesson she learned in Life? How will she Influence people through it?(01:09:34-01:10:10) One of the biggest lessons I learned in life is never to give up. And if I were to win Miss Universe, I would actually use this motivational skill set that I have to actually get everyone who's been in touch with me one light at a time to tell them that the sky's the limit and there's no storm that you cannot conquer Never give up only as you're willing to step out of your comfort zone no dream that you cannot achieve in your life because alone we are strong together we are unstoppable. What advice would you give to youngsters? (01:16:46-01:16:51) Believe in yourself. Be confident. Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/leeyongtehInstagram - https://www.instagram.com/d_t_l_y/Linkedin - https://www.linkedin.com/in/deon-teh-leeyong-573a0766/
Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/leeyongtehInstagram - https://www.instagram.com/d_t_l_y/Linkedin - https://www.linkedin.com/in/deon-teh-leeyong-573a0766/
I have a free gift for you, Money Blueprint for Women Leaders. It is downloadable at www.janetaisyahquek.com/money.Hi, It's Janet Aisyah and in this bonus episode I would like to share with you my success in launching the Podcast SEASON 2. Launching the PODCAST SEASON 2 impacted my life instantly in 2020. I truly agree that a podcast is not only about building online presence, but most importantly online credibility and recognition by showing up consistently. 1) Headhunted more than 10 times directly from companies and recruiters in 3 months from Asia Pacific, US and Europe even in this covid 19 situation. 2) I realized that my message impacted more people than I ever thought it could now with listeners and followers in 9 countries in 3 months. After awarded Platinum Instant Podcast Leader, I have garnered more than 100 likes on social media and some friends commented that now I am a Queen and drew attention to new connections who are keen to know what I am doing and how podcast can help them. 3) My husband has also showed more support by helping with the tech stuff whenever I need to prepare for my podcast recording and ensuring children are cooperative. My children now are used to me doing my work as podcast host though knowing that I have left my job. Initially, my youngest son told me that podcast is not working but I explained how this is going to help me in seeing as a leader online and eventually I have C-suite who connected with me after 3 years signed up a clarity call. A friend signed up Instant Leader Podcast after my recommendation. 4) I was given opportunity to share on NAC virtual Global platform with my mentor Genecia and podcast coach Joanne Lee. I have done more than 14 FB live with them in 1 2 months. This was not possible if I had not started my IPL show. 5) It has helped me to set a routine though I am not working for 9 months. I get to complete my 2 years of Podcast content in 3 months. 6) As I keep the momentum to complete the Season 2, I am able to think on the spot a topic and free flow the content to share. This is possible with the proven structure, process and system in place. 1. 10 objections: a) When I got to start the podcast SEASON 2, I was not sure if this is something I want to continue or just wait to see what results I have before embarking. Since I am taking career break so I decided to prepare myself by continuing before I get busy once I start my new job or my business which is working in progress. I realized that time flies so fast and now it has been 9 months since I quit my last job. So I decided to use this time to continue SEASON 2 so I will have 2 years of content. b) By now I have already taken a career break almost 9 months and I saw my SEASON 1 has helped me to get leads, enquiries and my first 2 C-suite clients. I do not have any income since August 2019 as I left my corporate job to care for my late mum before she passed on late Nov 2019. I would be spending on my savings which meant that I have to cut down on other expenses so to invest in myself , I then thought that I really want to achieve my dream of being an entrepreneur and I got to invest in myself. So it was a money issue. But when I realized that I can actually earn more the moment I have built my reputation online. By showing up and having my voice heard, people will come to know who I am and what I stand for, and people will support me just like headhunters have approached me instead of me going to them. More people will come get to know me and my brand and once I build my online businessc) At first my husband was worried that I am not earning yet I continue to spend for SEASON 2 before I can see income coming in but I told him this is part of my own branding and for future online business that I am going to embark on. Since I am available now, it will be best time to do otherwise there is never a good time. Best is because I have the choice to do it and with my husband support, I can have a breakthrough and it also influenced him to see things differently about the power of online presence after I completed SEASON 2 episodes in 48 hours especially during lockdown period during Covid 19. He saw I have became more confident eventhough I am not working but I have discipline to get my recording done despite I could just sit on it and delay since I have time. d) I don't know how I can continue recording when there is circuit breaker in Singapore as I no longer able to do at the head office. Genecia and Joanne explained to me that they will support and guide me to do it online, I just need to follow what they need me to do. Having the whole Soul Rich Woman team put me at ease knowing that I just to have to focus on my script and they do the rest. I just need to share my posting and recording on weekly basis without worry about the technical part that I am more at ease. e) As I am not sure if I have enough topics to share in season 2, my mentor Genecia spent time with me to draw out and guided me to position myself in the topics I could share. That gave me ideas and topics I could share. As I was also building my business as Podcast Coach and given opportunities to do FB live and conduct virtual events, I have topics to share more on my experience and learnings. f) Another issue I had was time, though I am not working at the moment but I have to juggle between attending to children, new business opportunity and going for job interviews during the period I have commit to complete 55 episodes. My helper has returned home due to emergency family matter to attend to. But because I believed in the importance of doing the podcast and in the urgency of doing it now rather than later, I was able to make arrangements, do when having the momentum so that things could be done earlier. It is a relieve for me that I have content ready and I can focus on building my business and attending to leads and enquiries. g) On top of all those issues, I had fears on the outcome if I will be repeating myself in some of the topics. Will listeners get bored on what I shared. How will people react? But because it has been my dream to reach out to my 1st 10 000 audience in 3 years so I need to continue to build my content and so keep me going. I also understand that as I have more episodes, my voice is easily searchable on internet. Podcast is a marketing vehicle that can be used again and again for life. h) I was also feeling anxious about what I am going to share if listeners will connect with me despite I have launched SEASON 2. I still went ahead as I realized I have so much content to offer and empower women who can achieve success like myself. Understanding that my intention is to share and inspire and not to criticize or destroy other people's lives, gave me the courage to continue despite the hardwork and continue SEASON 2.i) Recording the episodes also requires a lot of time and effort especially is in Ramandan when I cannot eat and drink from sunrise to sunset. I got tired at times when there are distractions that I had to record again due to environmental noises not within my control. . I spent less time with my children and on my own to do list. And there were a few tasks I had to set aside just to give priority to my podcast recording. But I now see this to be my big lesson in life. If you want to succeed in anything, you have to stay focus, remind yourself why you first started, make it happen and you have to set it as your number one priority. I have been getting attention of some responses that they see me as expert in podcast leader online and refer someone to me. j) Having launched SEASON 2, I am also anxious about what will happen next? Some how I am looking forward to SEASON 3 with new level of perspectives and new learnings. Then by going back to understanding my intentions and remind myself why I started that this will be about doing something positive for me and for others, and by knowing that I have a strong team of soul rich woman to support me, my worries are tamed and controlled. Conclusion:Having launched my podcast show SEASON 2 in 48 hours, it boosted my confidence to a higher level and achieve so many great results in 3 months. Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/leeyongtehInstagram - https://www.instagram.com/d_t_l_y/Linkedin - https://www.linkedin.com/in/deon-teh-leeyong-573a0766/

Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/leeyongtehInstagram - https://www.instagram.com/d_t_l_y/Linkedin - https://www.linkedin.com/in/deon-teh-leeyong-573a0766/

Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/leeyongtehInstagram - https://www.instagram.com/d_t_l_y/Linkedin - https://www.linkedin.com/in/deon-teh-leeyong-573a0766/
Episode129: Money And MeHello, gorgeous. Welcome to this episode. Now, this was a presentation that I did and I shared about money and me, money and you and I would like you to transform your business and your life with these few concepts that I'm about to share in the presentation.Value your time, you value yourself. (03:50-04:18) How much is your time worth per hour? How much is your time worth per hour? Now, that's very important, because if you view the value of money, sometimes it's tight to your time, how you value your time and what you're doing every single 24 hours a day. So the way you spend your time is the way you value yourself. And it's the way that you can grow your abundance and manifest more money or abundance into your life. What is Soul Rich Woman's vision?(08:26-09:21) Life was more than just making money. Life was more than just whatever that I'm doing right now because I have no business background and I moved into building a legacy business that I call Soul Rich Woman. So this Soul Rich Woman, let me just share with you why I call it Soul Rich Woman. I believe that women or people and generally for myself, I feel that women should have the soul. They have a soul, once you have the soul, you have a soul, you can develop abundance in any way you want. So with the soul, that's how you develop and you evolve as a person and bear for the fruits of whatever they are doing. And that is the definition of Soul Rich Woman. And it ties in with the F word, fabulous, freedom, financial independence and happy family. And that defines not a person but how you value, at which point in your life.Beliefs that help Genecia break through hardships in life. 1. You deserve to be rich when you give value to others.(10:21- 10:41) You deserve to be rich because you provide value to other people's lives. So that is the first belief that transform my life because I also wanted to do free. I want to help those people who are poor, but I must make myself rich first. I must make myself successful first before I could give more to other people.2. Be an excellent receiver. (11:27-11:54) So as I'm giving, I must learn to receive. So when people ask me, oh, can I help you with your business? Can I get you or can I help you with this project? I say no, I can do it myself because I grew up at 14 years old fighting for my rice bowl. So I'm very independent. So I opened my heart to learn to receive, to be an excellent receiver. That's how the abundance walks through the doors.3. Be grateful for everything you received.(12:00-12:27) Become more and more grateful for every single penny and every single cent that comes in and goes out by having a gratitude mindset and saying thank you for every single sentence and writing down to the $0.05. I learned that by saying that appreciating every single cent gave me a lot more, 100 times more by being grateful for every single one that I have. 4. Practice this powerful mantra.(13:02-14:24) All you need to do is just raise your right hand and put your right hand onto your heart. And then in three, two, one, let's speak this together. Three, two, “I love myself and I set myself free. This is my time, I'm ready for the next step.” Now pause and breathe in and breathe out. Notice how you feel at this current moment. Be at peace and notice the feeling about taking the next step and relaxing. So that is my journey about money and with money. And notice how we've transitioned and being at peace and aligned with our heart. That's when the soul is truly happy.Key Takeaways:1. Give value to others2. Do something you love.3. Be an Excellent Receiver. 4. There is hope and light at the end of the tunnel.5. Invest in Self-Healing and Personal Development.Key Resources:Subscribe to Genecia's Youtube channel: https://www.youtube.com/c/SoulRichWomanVisit SRW's website: https://www.soulrichwoman.comFollow Genecia on Instagram : (@Geneciaalluora)Follow Genecia on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/geneciaalluora/Check Genecia's LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/genecia/Free Resource: "Soul Why: Soul Rich Woman Blueprint" and "How to Delegate 80% of your to-do list" ---> https://be.soulrichwoman.comSecrets of Manifesting Money Quickly Online Course ---> https://shor.by/moneymindset

Today I'm speaking with Genecia Alluora. Genecia Alluora is a former Miss Singapore turned business coach as the founder of Soul Rich Woman, the #1 female entrepreneur network in Southeast Asia that connects more than 200,000 women across the region in the ‘Soul F' membership program. She mentors thousands of women to bring their business and leadership brand online. Before establishing her coaching business, Soul Rich Woman, Genecia was an owner of a successful cafe retail chain. What is incredible about Genecia's story is that as young as 14 years of age, Genecia had to support herself through school where she was often bullied. Genecia has gone through the highs and lows of being a business owner which we share on this episode. How she went from being in a six-figure debt to becoming a millionaire in 2013, to how this fuelled her passion to support women to do the same - to own the F-word - Freedom in their lives. We touch on many things in this interview from building a memorable brand online, to being resourceful as you're starting your business, how to handle rejection and No's, the concept of value exchange and why it's important to charge for your work, 2 tips for getting out of debt, how to find a coach or mentor, and how to really define your niche online effectively. I appreciate Genecia's take on growing her business, as it's certainly different from mine and it's always nice to hear different perspectives. I teach more of a top down approach, starting with high ticket clients so you can earn an income to then create smaller, more affordable programs for the masses, whereas Genecia teaches the other way, a bottom-up approach.
