What if the most dangerous spiritual practice isn't the one that looks dark and dangerous, but the one that looks peaceful, loving, and full of life? In this profound episode of the Meditation Podcast, we sit down with Tom Snow, a man who has spent 56 years navigating the complex intersections of faith, healing, and spiritual deception. From a terminal liver cancer diagnosis at age 16 to hearing the audible voice of God and witnessing a miraculous healing that defied medical science, Tom's story is one of radical transformation. We dive deep into the "greatest masquerade" in spiritual history, the difference between religious legalism and a true relationship with the Divine, and how to distinguish the "still small voice" from the many deceptive whispers in the spiritual realm. Whether you are seeking healing, clarity, or a deeper connection to your own sovereignty, Tom's insights offer a roadmap for finding the peace that truly passes understanding. ⏱️ Timestamps 0:00 Welcome & Introduction to Tom Snow 1:16 Tom's Story: A terminal liver cancer diagnosis at age 16 2:02 The Weight of Guilt: Believing he caused his mother's cancer 3:15 Visions of Eternity: Seeing life continue without him 4:00 The Audible Voice of God: "I love you" and a promise for the future 5:10 A Brother's Transformation: The gospel message after an LSD trip 6:24 The Chopper and the Hell's Angels: A radical turn toward darkness 8:16 The Grand Canyon Plan: A 16-year-old's plan for revenge and suicide 9:53 The Bubbling Up: Feeling the presence of God for the first time 11:41 The Miraculous Healing: A football-sized tumor melts in 24 hours 13:22 56 Years of Walking: Moving beyond organized religion and denominations 14:35 The Occult's PR Team: Why deception often looks like light 16:13 The "Checkmate the Matrix" Event: Finding solutions in community 25:57 The Names of the Disciples: Roman influence and Hebrew roots 27:11 Neither Jew nor Greek: Spiritual equality in the anointing 29:03 The Denomination Trap: Why 47,000 splits don't equal one bride 30:14 Hollywood vs. Reality: Debunking myths about demons and holy water 36:31 The Peace that Passes Understanding: The ultimate proof of God's presence 43:26 The Asbestos Connection: The tragic story behind Tom's mother's cancer 45:56 The Guilt of the World: Why Tom initially refused to seek help 58:26 The "PayPal" Achievement: How people are bilked for spiritual milestones 60:45 Psychedelics and Ayahuasca: Seeing connections vs. financial exploitation 61:42 Distinguishing the Voices: How to hear the true and living God 65:21 Don't Let Him Win: A powerful prayer for those facing suicidal thoughts 68:42 Nature's Golden Fire: Tom's mission to provide salt-free, sugar-free food 71:31 The 280 Million Americans: Why healthy food is a life-and-death issue 72:40 Where to Find Tom: JustToBeClear.com and his books 73:42 Outro: RoyCoughlan.com and the Meditation Podcast

The formula is simple. Step one, read great Irish literature. Step two, write killer songs. It's worked pretty well for Euan Manning of Cardinals so far. The Irish songwriter for the Cork-based band rattles off writers who have influenced him, and my god does he have impeccable taste: Flann O'Brien, Martin McDonagh, Kevin Barry, among others. As I always say, a clear through line travels from reading great writing to writing great words. The debut album by Cardinals is Masquerade.
I was fascinated to meet PJ Adzima, and learn about his path from his childhood on a farm to his career as a Broadway performer in the Book of Mormon. A chance encounter with a legendary composer changed his life forever and now as the CEO of the production company Stage Time, he's paying that forward by discovering and curating talent across genres through many projects. He talked about how embracing vulnerability and studying drag has been transformative and helped him take up space, challenge norms, and create with purpose.A joyful and deep appreciation for the performing arts certainly has driven his excellence and helped him transform his side project into his full-time business, and I'm sure you'll find PJ's energy infectious.Like all my episodes, you can also watch this on my YouTube channel or listen to the podcast on many podcast platforms, and I've also linked the transcript. The Embrace is supposed to be sacred. So why do so many vampires treat it like an afterthought?Tonight we're diving into one of the oldest and most controversial Traditions of the Camarilla: Progeny. Who has the right to create another vampire? Why does the Prince claim ownership over your bloodline? And is this Tradition really about protecting the Masquerade—or protecting the power of elders? We'll explore sires who create childer for love, ambition, loneliness, politics, and pure selfishness. We'll talk about abandoned neonates, failed Embraces, bloodline responsibility, and what happens when a vampire decides they don't need permission to become a parent.Because every vampire remembers their sire. And some spend eternity trying to forgive them.Support the showhttps://linktr.ee/25YearsOfVtM

A cartography vessel mapping a sector of space that's expected to contain nothing of interest encounters…something of interest. Genre: Science Fiction, Mystery Excerpt:"This thing is changing by the hour. We may not have time for Vessel 86 to arrive before something even more intense happens." I walked on a few steps before I realized that my crew mate had stopped short. I turned and walked back to him. "More intense than that?" he asked, pointing out of the nearest porthole. I gaped. The fluttering spirals that we'd become accustomed to had shifted color, darkening in a pattern that was familiar to both of us. That pattern was a word. The word was, "Hello." The Wheel of Fiction Turns. What did it land on this time? Each Season 9 story follows a theme chosen by the Wheel of Fiction. Thirteen spokes. Eight are the themes from previous seasons. One is "Turn Again." One is a wild card. And three are covered in question marks and will be revealed when the wheel lands on them. See a story trailer and a (satisfying) video of the wheel turning here: Encounter With Ship 47 This episode landed on MUSIC. Ooo, one of the mystery spokes has been revealed. I listened to a track called "Dimension of Time" from the soundtrack for a computer game from my youth, "The Dig." And I had visions of adventure in space... A Note from Jacob: Since my conversation with Matt, the 2026 Janice Jam at Sony Hall is OFFICIALLY SOLD OUT! I am thrilled to welcome back my friend, actor Matt DeAngelis, to Jake's Take with Jacob Elyachar for an exclusive conversation! Originally from Boston, Massachusetts, Matt grew up on showtunes and Boston sports. Matt studied theatre at the University of Southern Maine and The Boston Conservatory before heading down Route 95 to NYC in 2004. In June 2009, Matt got the call to make his Broadway debut in the Tony-winning production of HAIR with Tony Award winner Diane Paulus at the helm. Matt continued with that production, “Across the Atlantic Sea,” to the West End in the role of “Woof,” then launched the first national US Tour of HAIR, and was seen back on Broadway in the “Summer of Love” revival of HAIR. Following his time with the hippies, Matt launched the first national tour of Green Day's AMERICAN IDIOT as the “Representative from Jingletown”. Matt's cross-country adventures continued in 2014 with the first national tour of ONCE, where he played “Svec” and five instruments. Over the last five years, Matt has been a veteran of almost 2,000 performances. Thankfully, Matt returned home to Broadway (again with Diane Paulus) in the hit musical WAITRESS, where he starred opposite Tony Award winner Jessie Mueller, two-time Grammy winner Jason Mraz, and seven-time Grammy nominee and the show's composer, Sara Bareilles. He then toured the country with the WAITRESS National Tour as Earl opposite his real-life wife, Christine Dwyer, as Jenna. Upon returning from the road, Matt was a part of developing the World Premiere of The Secret Life of Bees at The Atlantic Theatre Company, directed by Tony Award winner Sam Gold. He also appeared in Orpheus Descending at Theatre for a New Audience. Matt DeAngelis also started the Janice Jam in memory of his mother, Janice, who passed from metastatic breast cancer in 2022. This annual event channels the magic of Broadway to honor those we've lost, uplift those fighting, and fund critical research. This event serves as a yearly celebration of Janice, her love for theater, and raising money for those affected by metastatic breast cancer. An all-star group of performers is joining Matt and his wife, Christine Dwyer, this year. Ari Axelrod, Ashley Loren, Carrie St. Louis, Cassadee Pope, Derek Klena, Donald Webber Jr., Eric Michael Krop, Justin Matthew Sargent, Kara Lindsay, Laurie Hernandez, and Norm Lewis are all expected to participate in the show. On this exclusive edition of The Jake's Take with Jacob Elyachar Podcast, Matt DeAngelis spoke about how Janice Jam partnered with Masquerade and previewed the sold-out event. I hit Club M4 sex club (Mississauga Ontario) for a Sinfully Sweet-hosted masquerade night with Curly Vixen, Amelia, and Peekaboo, checking in on what everyone wanted: Amelia was open to the right hookup with chemistry, a drink, and basic chivalry; Curly was open to whatever happened and excited to see familiar faces; and Peekaboo was looking for the usual, including getting spanked by strangers. Later, as I left around quarter to one, I'd lost track of my friends after moving through the club, though I did spot Curly having fun in the back room and saw Amelia and Peekaboo dancing earlier. I took in the action across M4, with people having sex everywhere in the back room, including the female and regular glory holes, the sex swing, and even more public play in the main lounge, plus I noticed rule changes like needing to dress down to be in the library. 00:00 Girls Night Arrival 00:12 Amelia's Hookup Wishlist 00:57 Curly Vixen's Plans 01:13 Peekaboo's Spanking Agenda 01:33 Party Time Montage 01:45 Late Night Exit Update 02:09 Back Room Sex Scene Tour 03:03 Rules Changes and Crowd 03:39 Masquerade Wrap Up *description written with the help of AI* ***** Get 50% off a single course of your choice at Level Up with Toronto Unicorn using code: TUPODCAST50 ***** My new digital course website: https://levelupwithtorontounicorn.com/ Sign up for my email newsletters to stay up-to-date on TorontoUnicorn news, events and swinger lifestyle resources: https://torontounicorn.kit.com/torontounicornemails ALL social media links (YouTube, podcasts, fan page, etc): https://linktr.ee/TorontoUnicorn DIRECT link to my explicit TorontoUnicorn fan page: https://OnlyFans.com/TorontoUnicorn

Faces covered, identities unknown - masquerade balls sound like a place of anonymity and, therefore, SCANDAL.But how true is this in the 18th Century? Few parties in history can match the Georgian 'Masquerade'. And among Georgian masquerades the one given by the King of Denmark in London in 1768 was particularly enchanting. It brought those of the greatest means and highest rank together in London theatre that was filled with artful costumes and glittering jewels. This week's guest, Meghan Kobza, tells us all about the Georgian masquerade – who started it, where did it come from, how much did it cost to get in – and she takes us inside the theatre in 1768. One character who catches her eye is the unfortunate Agneta Yorke whose night turns out to be a comedy of errors. The scenes, characters and storylines in this episode of Travels Through Time all feature in Meghan Kobza's book, The Masquerade A History of Extravagance and Intrigue. Show Notes Scene One: October 1768. At the masquerade habit warehouse scene on Tavistock Street operated by the Spilsburys. Scene Two: October 1768. Getting ready to go out with Agneta Yorke. Diane Paulus joins the show for a deep dive into her remarkably storied career, starting with the serendipitous discovery of her father's history as a director for the Army Entertainment Corps in post-war Tokyo. She shares how growing up at the doorstep of Lincoln Center and performing as a child at the New York City Ballet shaped her rhythmic, music-first approach to storytelling. Diane also pulls back the curtain on the "NASA mission" level of complexity required to mount her latest production, Masquerade, explaining the mathematical precision needed to move audiences through six floors of a converted art supply store. The conversation explores Diane's obsession with the audience's role as the "final character" and her mission to move theater beyond the traditional proscenium. From the disco-fueled origins of The Donkey Show to the egoless, collaborative rehearsal process of rotating six different Phantoms, Diane reveals how she manages to make the impossible possible. It is an inspiring look at the future of immersive experiences and the enduring power of human-centered, visceral ritual. Diane Paulus is a Tony Award-winning director and the Terrie and Bradley Bloom Artistic Director of the American Repertory Theater at Harvard University. Her celebrated Broadway credits include the high-octane revivals of Hair, Pippin, 1776, and The Gershwins' Porgy and Bess, as well as the hit musicals Waitress, Finding Neverland, and Jagged Little Pill. She is currently the visionary behind Masquerade, a brand-new immersive reimagining of The Phantom of the Opera in New York City. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

“ I believe that they were all linked and in sync all of the cats because there's so many parts in the play where it's so evident within the storytelling that they are all in tune with one another immediately.” This episode features Quentin Earl Darrington who played Old Deuteronomy in the 2016 Broadway Revival of CATS and currently appears as the Phantom in Masquerade. Quentin explains how he had never seen CATS before auditioning and researched recordings and commentary to build the show's story, then recalls the heavy, hot Old Deuteronomy suit, ice-pack vest, and unexpectedly having to dance with elite performers while also playing an opening-number ensemble cat. He describes shaping Old Deuteronomy through biblical books and viewing the Jellicle Choice as a collective, evolving decision, not predetermined, with Deuteronomy as a servant-leader who never expects to ascend. The conversation shifts to Masquerade's immersive demands, constant variation, and physical backstage navigation, with Quentin embracing unpredictable audience proximity. 01:20 First Encounter With CATS 03:47 Costume Heat and Survival 04:49 Old Deuteronomy Decision Theology 18:48 Masquerade 27:49 Immersive Show Demands 36:17 Reinventing Classics Today 39:07 Rapid Fire Check out Masquerade on Social Media: @masqueradenyc Check out Masquerade's website: masqueradenyc.com Produced by: Alan Seales & Broadway Podcast Network Social Media: @TheWrongCatDied Learn more about your ad choices. The story is told of how nine little gods came to be honored at a feast where they dared not show their faces. Genre: Mythology Excerpt:The new mortal-made masks were so fantastical and magical that they could not easily be distinguished from the masks of the gods. A few called it blasphemy. (For we humans can be fools this way, don't you agree? Seeking and seeking for wonder, and fearing it when we find it.) The Wheel of Fiction Turns. See a story trailer and a (satisfying) video of the wheel turning here: Nine Gods in Masquerade This episode landed on a mystery spoke that was revealed to be MUSIC. I rambled through my music and found a track that inspired this story. An empty masquerade mask facing forward with several asymmetrical elements. At center bridge of nose, a seashell motif. At left of image the top corner of the mask appears to be burning in a sparkling flame, and part of the mask appears to be vaporizing. At bottom is a small chainmail section from which there hangs a row of teardrop pieces dangling from thin strings. Within each eye hole is a star-filled sky motif. The right eye hole is framed with a tiled or scaled border. The left eye is surrounded by a vine motif. At right of image a feather and wing motif drops from the bottom of the mask. Along the side and extending up in a branching tree. A few leaves sprout from a few branches. Two flowers are set beside the tree and above the left eye. A dragonfly-like insect is perched at the base of the tree with two insect wings extending out and two feathers emerging from the bottom. Watermark of "Storyfeather" along bottom edge below right eyehole.
Self-acceptance does not fail because people lack affirmations. It falters because self-acceptance requires contact with material the psyche has spent a lifetime organizing defenses around. To want oneself requires tolerating oneself. And many individuals experience their unintegrated self not as home — but as threat. From an attachment perspective, early relational environments shape the internal working model of the self. When caregivers mirror inadequately, condition affection, shame vulnerability, or withdraw attunement, the developing nervous system encodes a brutal conclusion: “Parts of me cost me connection.” The child adapts. Certain traits get amplified for safety; others get exiled for survival. This adaptive partitioning later masquerades as personality.
You already know what it takes to build. Learn the skills. Work the system. Have the conversations. Stay consistent. That's offense. That's how you move the ball down the field in business. And we will never stop teaching that — because skillset is what creates progress. There are skills for distraction. Skills for procrastination. Skills for sales. Skills for leadership. Skills for clarity. But here's what we don't talk about enough: You can have a strong offense… And still lose the game. Because what quietly takes people out isn't usually lack of knowledge. It's what's happening underneath it. In this episode, we're talking about the defensive side of building — the internal patterns that, if left unchecked, can slowly sabotage everything your skillset is trying to create. Fear. Discouragement. Not dramatic quitting. Not explosive failure. The subtle kind. The kind that: • Sounds responsible. • Feels logical. • Looks like "pausing." • Masquerades as waiting for clarity. We're unpacking how: • Fear freezes action even when you know what to do. • Discouragement erodes belief even when your system is solid. • High performers don't avoid these — they identify them faster. • And why you need both offense (skills) and defense (mindset awareness) to build something sustainable. Because learning how to build is powerful. But learning how to protect what you're building? That's leadership. If you've felt a shift lately… If momentum feels slower… If you know the skills but something internally feels off… This conversation will help you name it. And once you can name it — you can move through it.
