Join Jim and Greg for 3 Martini Lunch as they reflect on the litany of mistakes made by Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass in the past week, the early portions of the Carter funeral including some curious interactions among the presidents and vice presidents, and President Biden's “flat-out bonkers” claim that he would have beaten Donald Trump in the 2024 election if he hadn't dropped out.First, Jim takes a deep dive into how Mayor Karen Bass is handling the wildfire crisis in Los Angeles. Despite emerging warnings about wildfire dangers, Bass chose to travel to Ghana and stayed there, even after the situation escalated. Her lack of candor and shaky public appearances since returning have also been painful to watch.Next, they comment on Jimmy Carter's funeral - both what was said in the early parts of the service and the fascinating interactions - or lack of interactions - among current and former presidents and vice presidents and their spouses. The Biden-Harris, Trump-Pence, and Trump-Obama exchanges were of particular note. Finally, Jim and Greg react to President Biden's stunning claim in a USA Today interview, where he asserted that he would have defeated Donald Trump if he had stayed in the 2024 race. Even CNN dismissed his comments as “flat-out bonkers.” Jim points out how recent events and Biden's actions over the last four years make it clear that he is not equipped to lead the country. Please visit our great sponsors:NetSuitehttps://NetSuite.com/MARTINIDownload your FREE CFO's Guide to AI and Machine Learning at NetSuite.com/MARTINIOmaha Steakshttps://OmahaSteaks.com/3MLGo to OmahaSteaks.com/3ML to subscribe and get 12 FREE burgers, FREE shipping, and an EXTRA 10% OFF for the life of your subscription. It's Monday, November 18th, A.D. 2024. This is The Worldview in 5 Minutes heard on 125 radio stations and at www.TheWorldview.com. I'm Adam McManus. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Adam McManus Muslims killed four Christians in Kaduna State, Nigeria As a Nigerian Christian man named Kushuwai started harvesting rice with his family on November 8th in Jema'a County, he suddenly found himself in the middle of a nightmare, reports International Christian Concern. Muslim extremists, believed to be Fulani militants, attacked his farming community, killing four Christians and critically wounding several others in Southern Kaduna State. Kushuwai said, “They came in their numbers, armed with guns, knives, and machetes. They encircled us without firing a shot. My son begged them to spare us, but they attacked him instead. My daughters and the other women ran for their lives while I was struck down trying to intervene.” Although Kushuwai survived with severe injuries, his son was brutally killed. In Romans 8:35, the Apostle Paul asked, “Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword?“ Chinese student killed 8, injured 17 after failing exam On Saturday, a Chinese student killed eight people and injured 17 others in a stabbing attack at Wuxi Vocational Institute of Arts and Technology in Yixing city, China, reports One America News. Police stated that the suspect, who was arrested on the scene, was a recent graduate who was motivated to kill and maim because of “failing [an] exam, not receiving a graduation certificate, and dissatisfaction with internship compensation.” Biden authorizes Ukraine to use US-supplied long-range missiles inside Russia President Joe Biden has authorized Ukraine to use U.S.-supplied long-range missiles to strike deeper inside Russia, easing limitations on the weapons as Russia deploys thousands of North Korean troops to reinforce its war, reports the Associated Press. The decision allowing Kyiv to use the Army Tactical Missile System for attacks farther inside Russia comes as President Vladimir Putin positions North Korean troops along Ukraine's northern border to try to reclaim hundreds of miles of territory seized by Ukrainian forces. North Korea has provided thousands of troops to Russia to help Moscow try to claw back land in the Kursk border region that Ukraine seized this year. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and many of his Western supporters have been pressing Biden for months to allow Ukraine to strike military targets deeper inside Russia with Western-supplied missiles, saying the U.S. ban had made it impossible for Ukraine to try to stop Russian attacks on its cities and electrical grids. The Red State, a conservative website wrote, “Maybe Joe Biden didn't get the memo: he lost the presidential election and will be vacating the White House in January. It's an odd time to be announcing a significant--and perhaps escalatory--shift toward Ukraine as they try to stave off Russian aggression in the ongoing war between the two countries.” Trump picked Secretary of Energy President-elect Donald Trump has named energy industry executive Chris Wright as his choice to lead the Department of Energy, pending Senate confirmation, reports The Epoch Times. In a November 16 statement, Trump wrote, “Chris has been a leading technologist and entrepreneur in energy. He has worked in nuclear, solar, geothermal, and oil and gas. Most significantly, Chris was one of the pioneers who helped launch the American Shale Revolution that fueled American energy independence, and transformed the global energy markets and geopolitics.” In remarks at a National Conservatism conference in 2021, Wright warned that ongoing attempts to shift from oil, coal, and gas to renewables are “the largest politically driven mis-investment ever,” that will increase energy costs and reduce reliability. Christian group opposes Matt Gaetz for Attorney General A conservative Christian legal group is opposing Present-elect Trump's nomination of Matt Gaetz to be the next Attorney General Liberty Counsel, headed by Mat Staver, released a statement in which they declared, “Matt Gaetz is neither morally nor professionally qualified to become the United States Attorney General. This is the highest law enforcement position in the country. America deserves much better. “Professionally, Matt Gaetz graduated from law school in 2007, and briefly worked for a law firm in Ft. Walton Beach, Florida before being elected to the Florida House of Representatives in 2010. He served in that role until 2016, and was then elected to the U.S. House of Representatives in 2017. Gaetz has three years or less experience in the practice of law, hardly enough to serve as the nation's chief law enforcement officer.” In the statement, Liberty Counsel wrote, “Morally, Gaetz has been under a cloud of sex and drug allegations. On Wednesday, as soon as he was tapped by President-elect Donald Trump, Gaetz immediately resigned from Congress, thus ending the Ethics probe into his sex parties that includes allegations of paying an underage girl for sex. Gaetz will face tough questions during any confirmation hearing and will likely not be confirmed. His immediate resignation raises serious questions as it occurred just two days before the U.S. House Ethics Committee was scheduled to vote to release what is expected to be a damaging report.” Mike Pence opposes RFK Jr at HHS over abortion Former Vice President Mike Pence urged Senate Republicans on Friday to vote against Trump's nomination of Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. as secretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, citing his views on abortion, reports the Christian Post. He said, "The Trump-Pence administration was unapologetically pro-life for our four years in office. There are hundreds of decisions made at HHS every day that either lead our nation toward a respect for life or away from it, and HHS under our administration always stood for life." Court upholds Indiana's ban on gender transition for minors A federal appeals court panel has upheld Indiana's ban on sex-change operations and hormone drugs for minors, including things like administering puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones, and cosmetic irreversible surgeries, reports The Christian Post. A three-judge panel of the U.S. 7th Circuit Court of Appeals ruled 2-1 Wednesday to reverse a lower court decision against Senate Enrolled Act 480, which passed in April 2023. Talk show host Dennis Prager seriously injured his back And finally, last Tuesday, conservative Jewish talk show host Dennis Prager seriously injured his back in a fall at his home, reports The Express Tribune. Prager, age 76, hosts a weekday show heard on 400 radio stations. He is also the founder of PragerU, known for its short educational videos that promote conservative values on topics like economics and political science. It is "the most viewed conservative video site in the world, with one billion views a year, more than half by people under the age of 35." Please pray for his full recovery. And send a get well card addressed to Dennis Prager, 15021 Ventura Blvd. #552. Sherman Oaks, CA 91403. James 5:14 says, “The prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well." Trump and Chief Communications Officer at America First Policy Institute. Marc Lotter is from Fort Wayne, Indiana, and serves as the Chief Communications Officer at America First Policy Institute (AFPI). Previously, Marc served as Director of Strategic Communications for the Trump-Pence 2020 campaign. He also was a Special Assistant to the President and Press Secretary to Vice President Mike Pence during most of the first year of the Trump Administration. Prior to joining the administration, he served as Press Secretary to the Vice President during the 2016 presidential campaign and transition. In those roles, Lotter regularly appeared on national and cable news outlets including Fox News Channel, MSNBC, CNN and programs such as: ABC's This Week with George Stephanopoulos, CNN's State of the Union with Jake Tapper, MSNBC's Meet the Press Daily with Chuck Todd and Fox News Sunday with Chris Wallace. Before entering public service, Lotter spent 13 years as a producer and manager for television stations across the country. During Lotter's career in local television news, his work received two Emmy awards and was recognized by the Society of Professional Journalists for the “Best Newscast” in Indiana. Our conversation focuses on: America's economy as inflationary prices persist with high interest rates. AP reported: "Mortgage rates, credit card rates, auto loan rates, and business loans with variable rates will all likely maintain their highs, with consequences for consumer spending, after the Federal Reserve indicated Wednesday that it doesn't plan to cut interest rates until it has “greater confidence” that price increases at the consumer level are slowing to its 2% target. The central bank kept its key rate at a two-decade high of roughly 5.3%, where it has been since last August.” Illegal immigration impacting cities and local communities — will America's citizens and leaders address this crisis? President Joe Biden's policy on Israel. The Biden administration's decision to block the transfer of congressionally approved military aid to the Jewish state presents greater risks. Critics voice concerns that Biden's policy will embolden Israel's enemies in the region, notably Iran, a state sponsor of terrorism. Speaker Mike Johnson held a high-profile press conference unveiling the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) Act alongside the bill's leaders in the House and Senate, Rep. Chip Roy, R-Texas, and Sen. Mike Lee, R-Utah. According to Sen. John Kennedy (R-La.), a member of the Senate Judiciary Committee and co-sponsor of the SAVE act: "Current law makes it illegal for non-citizens to vote in federal elections, but it does not require states to obtain documentary proof of U.S. citizenship before an individual registers to vote. The SAVE Act would amend the National Voter Registration Act to clarify that states must require proof of citizenship when registering individuals to vote in federal elections." Digital Irish hosts Celebration of Irish Founders at the Embassy of Ireland in London https://digitalirish.com/icymi-a-celebration-of-irish-founders-at-the-embassy-of-ireland/ For the first time, Digital Irish was at the Embassy of Ireland in London, hosted by Ambassador Martin Fraser. This special occasion brought together London's Irish innovators from startups, corporates, and venture capital firms, with the aim of strengthening our community ties. At the heart of the event was a panel discussion featuring some of the city's top Irish founders, who shared their stories and the lessons learned on their entrepreneurial journeys. We also used the event as a rallying call to action for everyone in attendance to think about how they can build a better community for all by paying it forward.

We're on vacation this week, which means I'm only “working” three out of five days. But as you know, 3 out of 5 is 60%, and that's enough to invoke cloture. The other 40% of the week is covered by re-runs. But not just any re-runs. They're “Throwback Episodes!” Either because they're so damned old, or because you'll want to “throwback” some booze, to get over how bad the sound quality was in “those days.” Trust me, it's better than a “throw-up episode.” So today, we're taking you all the way back to July 18, 2016. What a time! What a year! What were we doing? Well, since you ask... David Waldman begins KITM with a coffee break, you should too, it will be a busy week! Greg Dworkin brings us the pre-convention polls. Hillary's in the lead now, let's see what the Trump/Pence bump brings the Gop. Will convention star power destabilize what has been so far stable polling? Clinton leads Trump 76 -14 with Latinos. Mike Pence finds he must go from Indiana, but then falls into the Von Clownstick Zone. Taunting insiders inadvertently drove Donald Trump to show us he could run for president. Trump has made America more racist. Republicans are OK with that. Donald Trump turns out to be a fictional character, but a genuine “asshole”. Experts contend that Trump is bad at the art of the deal, but a natural at spinning the truth. Journalists discover their inner Murrows. Trump and kids named in a $250M Tax Scam. Therefore, Hillary Clinton must not be just defeated, she needs to be punished. Poisonous toads are instinctive enemies in the wild.

The Rich Zeoli Show- Full Episode (12/09/2022): 3:05pm- Twitter Files Part 2: On Thursday night, former Wall Street Journal and New York Times journalist Bari Weiss revealed, prior to Elon Musk taking ownership, Twitter maintained a blacklist which limited the visibility of conservative commentators like, Charlie Kirk, Libs of TikTok, and Dan Bongino. Perhaps most disturbingly, Stanford University Professor of Medicine Jay Bhattacharya was also “shadow banned” for suggesting that prolonged COVID-19 lockdowns could irreparably harm children—particularly educationally. According to Weiss' reporting, the group banning the most high-profile Twitter accounts included former CEOs Jack Dorsey and Parag Agrawal. 3:30pm- After establishing that former Twitter executives authorized shadow banning conservative accounts, the next question that must be answered: were these bans being compelled by governmental officials and/or political organizations? 3:45pm- While speaking with John Roberts on Fox News, former Vice President Mike Pence was asked if he believed shadow bans on social media—Twitter specifically—cost Trump-Pence the 2020 presidential election. 3:50pm- On September 5th, 2018, while speaking before Congress, Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey stated, “[w]e don't consider political viewpoints, perspectives, or party affiliation in any of our policies or enforcement decisions, period. Impartiality is our guiding principle.” This statement now appears to be false. Will Dorsey be held accountable? 4:05pm- Matt Sharp—Senior Legal Counsel Representing Lorie Smith of 303 Creative | Alliance Defending Freedom—joins The Rich Zeoli Show. On Monday, the U.S. Supreme Court heard oral arguments in 303 Creative v. Elenis. The question being asked before the court is whether Lorie Smith, a wedding website designer, is legally permitted to decline creating custom webpages for same-sex weddings—is her religious objection protected by the First Amendment? During oral argument, Justice Neil Gorsuch noted that Colorado law forced Jack Phillips—the cake baker in Masterpiece Cakeshop v. Colorado Civil Rights Commission—was forced, by the state, to go through a reeducation program after refusing to make custom cakes for same-sex weddings citing a religious objection. 4:20pm- Rich figures out how to play sound effects from his studio—it's only been one segment, but Matt is already disgusted. Plus, the Zeoli show relives one of our all-time favorite clips: former New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio eating Shake Shack on television. 4:35pm- According to a report from The Daily Signal, Assistant Secretary of Health at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Dr. Rachel Levine encouraged doctors to “proactively” campaign on behalf of transgender care for minors, during a September Zoom conference at University of Pittsburgh's Department of Pediatrics. 4:45pm- Qatar's beautiful camel contest! Are these camels ACTUALLY beautiful?!?! Matt and Rich disagree. 4:50pm- In an opinion editorial featured in The Arizona Republic, Senator Krysten Sinema announced that she changed her party affiliation from Democrat to Independent. Will this decision have any impact on Senate voting? Probably not. 5:05pm- According to a report from The Daily Wire, “[v]ideo emerged Thursday afternoon of Brittney Griner being swapped on a runway for convicted Russian terrorist Viktor Bout after Democrat President Joe Biden agreed to the trade.” The video shows a clear edit that appears to occur right before Brittney Griner may have shaken hands with Bout. Did the White House delete the handshake because of bad optics? 5:10pm- According to a report from Politico's Lara Seligman, “[s]ome Pentagon officials are concerned that convicted Russian arms dealer Viktor Bout, who was released on Thursday in a prisoner swap for American basketball star Brittney Griner, could return to illegally trafficking weapons, potentially fueling conflicts across the world.” 5:20pm- In 2010, 60 Minutes aired a report on Russian arms dealer Viktor Bout. They referred to him as one of the most dangerous people on earth. 5:35pm- According to a report from The Philadelphia Inquirer, Mayor Jim Kenney has been vocal in his complaints about a 6ABC story that criticized his performance in public office—even swearing at Brian Tierney for his role in the piece. 5:45pm- Mystery Movie Clip: Is Jingle All the Way one of the most underrated Christmas films? 6:05pm- Twitter Files Part 3: On Friday night, investigative journalist Matt Taibbi released information regarding the decision to remove former President Donald Trump from Twitter. Taibbi wrote, “Whatever your opinion on the decision to remove Trump that day, the internal communications at Twitter between January 6th-January 8th have clear historical import. Even Twitter's employees understood in the moment it was a landmark moment in the annals of speech.” According to Taibbi, Twitter executives were “prepared to ban future presidents and White Houses–perhaps even Joe Biden.” 6:55pm- Who Won Social Media?
