On this episode, we discuss how your childhood dreams and creativity can guide you to a full and fulfilling life in your adulthood. Sometimes, we have to travel back into our childhood memories to bring forward what we need to thrive in our adulthood. We also cover grief, fear, the need for safety and security in adulthood, and the importance of not letting anyone steal the joy you had for the skills and gifts that came naturally to you. Here is a typical definition of Christmas: WE reJOIce that HE's Come.(We get the Joy)Here is an atypical definition of Christmas: HE reJOICES that WE Come..(He gets the Joy)Of course I am re-defining Christmas. We are going to answer the Drummer Boy's (irritating! Sorry...) question: "What can I bring?" We are going to imagine Jesus in His pajamas, wiping the sleep out of His eyes as He comes down the stairs on Christmas morning. What gift under the tree would make HIM the HAPPIEST? What would bring HIM JOY? Don't underestimate this question, because mankind has been trying a whole bunch of stupid things in an effort to please God over the centuries. This Christmas, we get a direct answer. "Joy to the world, the Savior's come." Let's change that a little:"Joy to the LORD, the ____________ _____________ has come". Listen and be a joy to the Lord today!

Wecome to Episode #24, where we hear from another heavy hitter.Ludo and I start our conversation with the thought that there is a lot of very capable talent out there. He has been at really large shops and understands the importance of diversity equity and inclusion from a growth perspective.Ludo shares that one of the big challenges that he personally wants to see more done with is accountability among tech executives and founders. In many cases, companies are biased towards action and then they jump into execution mode. Ludo thinks that with something like diversity and inclusion when you pick a little bit more of a slow approach you gain a better chance of success. He recommends a solid foundation on which one can make sure that future decisions are well-made. There's an assumption made that the only way to gain the skills of a CS degree is to go to a four-year university when the reality these days is some of those concepts about data structures and algorithms are free and available online. There's this kind of invisible line around 30% diversity within a team after which point the team becomes self sustainably diverse going forward.Ludo is an insightful and creative engineering leader. He’s a graduate of Virginia Tech and interned and worked early at MIT & CalTech. From rebuilding the production systems that deliver all of Hulu's content to all client devices, to leading an organization of world-class engineers that have taken Pinterest from 20MM to 300MM users worldwide. Ludo Antonov is now the Head of Growth at Lyft. He is adept at scaling products and teams.Ludo Antonov: https://www.linkedin.com/in/lantonov/Lyft: https://www.lyft.com/careersDev Color: https://www.devcolor.org/More episodes of the SnackWalls Podcast: http://podcast.snackwalls.comSnackWalls is powered by San Diego Code School: https://sdcs.ioPlease share like and subscribe for more reach

I can see some future collaborations happening here.Larry attributes the challenge of hiring a diverse workforce to an organization’s current systems and a resistance to change the methods of recruiting. Larry also shares personal experiences related to degree vs non-degree candidates and how his current model successfully attracts diverse talent.Larry Apke is a co-founder and Chief Agile Officer for the San Francisco based nonprofit The Job Hackers. Larry has been working in software development for over 20 years with the last 10+ years involved with Agile software development. In today's Podcast we declare a word I heard as I was preparing. "Down the Stretch They Come" and we personalize it for this platform to say "We Come" as the Lord turns the final corner for this Hebrew and calendar year. This is a term from horse racing, but it applies to the prophetic season we are in. Listen in today to hear this revelation.
We Come to know God through Jesus and know Him better and better.

In this episode, Britt Lawton from the David Krut Gallery sat down to speak to self-taught artist Paul Senyol the day of his opening for Markers - a solo showcase done in collaboration with Paul Senyol and his representing gallery Salon91, Cape Town. Paul Senyol is an abstract painter who reflects the details of everyday life, paired down to an empathy with colour, line and form. His work is a carefully crafted response to his wonderings through various spaces. The colours and textures of urban and natural environments inform his spontaneous practice in the studio. Skateboarding emerged as a gateway to early creative works on the street and remains an important part of Senyol’s experience of urban spaces. His unique visual language is founded on the inevitable change and flux in environments and his works are testament to the translation of experiences into form. Wecome to the final episode of Season 1 of the Forever Fused podcast. In this episode, I interview my mother, Diane Hyman. I really wanted to hear the perspective of a parent who has put their child/children through spinal fusion surgery. Who better to speak to than my own mom who put both of her two children through scoliosis spinal fusion surgeries. I will be taking a little break from the podcast to continue to build my Forever Fused online classes for adapted yoga and movement education for back care and spinal fusion. AND I'm collaborating with local friends to start another podcast on a completely different topic - Dance With God - a podcast for liturgical practices and contemplative living. www.foreverfused.com www.alignmentpaths.com

Marcus is on Vacation What is Rell to do? *Light Bulb* Rell had a ‘indoor bbq’, in away, with Jerk Chicken, smoothies, fruit snacks and d’usse invited friends @WecomeFromqns (WCFQ) and @Mouse_Jones(MJ) to bring parts of their podcast to the show. Rell Starts it off(drinking with d’usse and edible already in system), calling Marcus(So, because of schedule confusion he was still in NYC. However due to Marcus being boisterous, he kind of blue 20sec of the audio, of his own introduction.).Then talks about Rio and Joe Budden The girls WCFQ wanted to talk to MJ about something he discussed on our show back in May. They also briefly touch back on an old topic from their show, Gender roles and Emasculating men. We also had an uninvited guest, excuse the awkward silence. Finally, MJ ‘Pass the Aux’ had everyone scrambling the last song in their phones. We even answer one listener question. Lemonade was recorded live, in one shot, in front of a small but rowdy beer drinking audience, late one night in the Drunken Monkey Studio. On a night that should have been a warm spring night....but instead the sky was blue, and snow blew, and flew and oh shit, there goes my shoe! Wecome to spring in Canada! Hello Tony! What are your plans for summer? Still dreaming of building a lemonade stand empire? Lemons for everyone, let no man go parched! While the Big Smile DJ of the world dreams of a lemon future, he was gracious enough to bring back tracks from his recent trip to WMC Miami! Let the sunshine in and may your thirst be quenched with music , dance, spring fling and summer sun! Dance music lovers of the world, please enjoy Tony Morello - LEMONADE. Spring is here! Smell the flowers, dance it up! Love and Lemons, The Drunken Monkey.
Wecome back to Salem & Kiwi - on this chocolate-coated edition of the Saturday Giant Snail Races from the virtual world of Second LifeGiant Snail Races
Wecome to the first "official" episode of the year Michael is joined by Spider-Man Crawlspace Webmaster and Spider-Man Crawlspace Podcast ringleader Brad Douglas to talk a whole lot about (surprise, surprise) Spider-Man. They also discuss how Brad became a comic book fan, where he buys his comics and Brad's day job as a reporter for a local (at least for him) NBC affiliate. All of this and a special appearance by Michael's dog because the microphone picks up a lot.
