35-Minute Yoga Nidra For Chronic Fatigue As one who has lived with chronic fatigue, I know how debilitating and truly exhausting it is. I also know that it can be overcome. Your body can heal, and you can live with full energy again. Yoga nidra is a practice that can help in your recovery as it allows the mind and body to release into a deep, deep state of rest and repair. It is the only practice of its kind and its effects are cumulative. the more you practice the more your body heals. When I was in the depths of my chronic health conditions, which included chronic fatigue, I would practice yoga nidra up to five times a day. Healing doesn't happen overnight, as we'd all love for it too, however it does happen. Please know that optimal health and vitality are possible for you, though it requires time, patience and a belief that your body can heal. During this practice, you'll be gently guided through techniques that help the body enter the parasympathetic state, the state of rest and repair, where the healing happens. This is great for beginners, as well as those seasoned in the practice of yoga nidra. Here on this channel you can find many other yoga nidra offerings from me. 35-Minute Yoga Nidra For Chronic Pain Namaste. Welcome to this yoga nidra for chronic pain. As someone who has lived with debilitating chronic health conditions, I greatly empathize with those in a similar position. For nearly 18mths I was unable to get out of bed and relied on a cane or wheelchair for mobility. I found yoga nidra to be one of the few practices that helped my body heal. In fact, it's why I became a yoga nidra instructor and now incorporate this potent healing practice into my business. Our tendency, especially when living with a chronic health condition, is to focus on what's wrong with us, what's hurting, what isn't working properly or the way we'd like it to, or on what we can't do. Although this is a normal response, it can leave us feeling hopeless and stuck in victimhood. The intention of this practice is to offer what could have helped me in the depths of my own suffering. Whether you're living with body pain such as chronic neck, back or hip pain, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, migraines, arthritis, IBS, anxiety, vertigo, whatever it is, may this practice help you overcome these feelings of despair and offer hope that healing IS possible. www.yourlivewelljourney.com INSTAGRAM: www.instagram.com/livewelljourney FACEBOOK: https://www.facebook.com/amandalee.intuitive/ BACKGROUND MUSIC: https://www.youtube.com/muzykazdrowotna
40-Minute Yoga Nidra To Relax And Restore Give your nervous system the opportunity to melt into the deepest states of rest to restore your wellbeing. Though yoga nidra is a form of NSDR (Non-Sleep Deep Rest), during this practice feel free to let yourself be guided into sleep if that's what your body requires at this time. This practice will gently guide you through breath awareness, a body scan, and soothing images all intended to help your mind and body sink into blissful relaxation. Get yourself cozied into your yoga nidra nest and enjoy. In this week's episode, Adrienne guides you through a Yoga Nidra Meditation inspired by last week's guest, Amanda. If you haven't listened to episode 39 yet, what are you waiting for?!Yoga Nidra or "yogic sleep" is a state of consciousness between waking and sleeping. Clinical studies have shown that Yoga Nidra meditation is associated with positive physiological changes, including improvements in several hematological variables, red blood cell counts, blood glucose levels, and hormonal status. In fact, one hour of Yoga Nidra equates to roughly 4 hours of deep REM sleep! Last week, Amanda opened up about how her "hot tears" in savasana had her coming back to her mat over and over again. Now, Amanda is a beloved, full time Yoga teacher, where she specializes in serving people in various rehabilitation and mental health facilities throughout SATX. On today's episode, I share one of my favorite guided meditations, the practice of yoga nidra. If you're driving, I highly recommend that you pause and return to this episode when you can give your undivided attention as this is a total body relaxation technique. Yoga Nidra, often known as "Yogic Sleep," is a meditation and relaxation technique that has been supported by compelling statistics showcasing its remarkable benefits for relaxation, anxiety reduction, and depression management. Again, it's recommended that you listen to this episode when you have time to slow down and relax. Do NOT listen while operating a vehicle. Here are a few reasons why I love this particular meditation practice: Relaxation: Numerous studies have demonstrated that Yoga Nidra is a highly effective method for relaxation. Research from the National Library of Medicine has shown that consistent practice significantly reduces stress levels, with as much as a 44% decrease in cortisol levels, the hormone associated with stress. This makes it an invaluable practice for individuals dealing with high levels of stress, sleep disturbances, or tension-related ailments. Anxiety: Statistics further confirm the effectiveness of Yoga Nidra in reducing anxiety. A study published in the Journal of Complementary and Alternative Medicine revealed that participants who practiced Yoga Nidra experienced a 56% reduction in anxiety levels after just eight weeks. This indicates its potential to offer substantial relief for individuals grappling with anxiety disorders. Depression: Yoga Nidra has also demonstrated promise in alleviating symptoms of depression. In a clinical trial published in the Journal of Clinical Psychology, participants who engaged in regular Yoga Nidra sessions reported a 45% improvement in their depressive symptoms. This suggests that Yoga Nidra can be a valuable component of a comprehensive approach to managing and mitigating the effects of depression. As you listen along, allow yourself to fully relax and try not to judge any thoughts that arise.

Here we discuss the real meaning of Yogic Sleep. Ryan reviews the stages of consciousness from Jagrat, Svapna, to Sushupti and how the practice of proper meditation and Kriya Yoga provides the capacity to navigate the deepest levels of our being. The inspiration for this discussion is based on the appropriate sutras from chapter 1 of Patanjali's Yoga Sutras. In this episode of The Kriya Yoga Podcast, please enjoy a recording from our monthly Kriya Yoga Sunday Service offered to Kriya Yoga Online Patreon Members and Kriya Yoga Apprenticeship Students. Yoga Nidra is a practice that guides you to experience a deeper relationship with yourself by becoming an observer of your inner complexity. The goal is not to attain perfection but to exercise the capacity to sit with 'what is,' whether it brings comfort or discomfort. Through this practice, you learn to witness your truth and grow unimaginably. This session invites you to accept yourself, including your imperfections, and witness your experience without judgment. To begin, you are invited to take a comfortable position lying on your back with all the support you need. After settling into the container of the room you rest in, you are guided to ground yourself into your strength to remain still and observe your breath. Surrender to the space around you and notice what speaks from the body. The practice then moves on to invite a Sankalpa, an intention or declaration of "I am" that awakens in the space of the heart and connects to the mind's eye. The session ends with the rotation of consciousness, where you sense pure sensation as your attention travels through your physical body, allowing yourself to melt into spaces of comfort, ease, and well-being.Through this practice, you are honouring your whole body, whole being, and whole self, and deeply planting your intention into the subconscious mind. The session is concluded with a return to your Sankalpa and a reminder that the truth will set you free.Thank you for being here.Subscribe (and Receive Alerts) for more Yoga Nidra & BeyondClick Here ——— https://www.youtube.com/c/AylaNovaNidra?sub_confirmation=1 00:00 Intro00:12 Intention01:50 Prepare for Yoga Nidra03:20 The Practice of Yoga NidraLicensed music from Pond5

However, when we practice yoga nidra we allow ourselves to become an observer of our experience without judgement and these judgements perpetuate the beliefs that are hold us back. Welcome to the Spiritually Fit Yoga podcast! This episode guides you through a ~30 minute yoga nidra to an awake mind and relaxed body and allows you to plant the seed of your positive affirmation while the mind is in the peaceful yoga nidra state of mind. Yoga Nidra is "yogic sleep" with the intention for the mind to stay awake and aware as the body enters deep rest. You're invited to be still while you lay down and let your mind follow my voice as I guide you in this calming guided meditation. AND...if you fall asleep, that's great! This guided 40 minute Yoga Nidra meditation follows the neuroscience of sleep. Yoga Nidra is often referred to as Yogic Sleep or Transformational Rest and it is a progressive meditative relaxation technique that naturally slows your brainwave states to those similar to sleep. This meditation style is effortless so you can rest easily and deeply into a space where thoughts are free to come and go. Yoga Nidra provides the tools for maintaining a sense of wellbeing and peacefulness, allowing the fluctuations of the mind to slow and return to a state of homeostasis allowing you to drift into a conscious, deep sleep state simply through the guidance of a systematic sequence of soothing and relaxing techniques that increase your awareness and deepens your relaxation.Throughout the practice, you're providing extra comfort and relaxation throughout the physical body allowing your brainwaves to regulate into a resting, calm, peaceful state that has been shown to help with insomnia, stress, grief, depression, anxiety, and symptoms from PTSD. You do not need any prior experience to do this, just a listening ear, so it is best to wear headphones, but it is not necessary. Yoga Nidra allows you to tap into your very own awareness and experience and there is no wrong way to practice. Simply try to get as comfortable as you can and begin to deeply listen and follow along as best as you can. As you practice Yoga Nidra more and more you'll find deeper and deeper states of well-being and awareness. Try practicing Yoga Nidra every night to help you get a full night's sleep, or try practicing throughout the day to rejuvenate and replenish your energy levels.Subscribe to my YouTube channel for more meditations https://www.youtube.com/c/JohaYogaLove my meditations? Enjoy a deep state of relaxation through Yog Nidra also known as Yogic Sleep. For Yoga Nidra practice practitioner lies down in a comfortable position. Yog Nidra practice brings a state in which the body is completely relaxed, and the practitioner becomes systematically and increasingly aware of the inner world by following a set of verbal instructions. Practitioner is asked to follow instructions easily , comfortably and moving along with instructions-without pondering to judge , analyze or concentrate on instruction instead simply follow with full awareness. Practitioner is asked to stay aware and not sleep. This state of consciousness is different from meditation in which concentration on a single focus is required. In yoga nidra the practitioner remains in a state of light withdrawal of the 5 senses also termed as “Pratyahara”, with four senses internalized, that is, withdrawn, and the practitioner simply hears through their auditory channel- following instructions. Yog Nidra is among the deepest possible states of relaxation while still maintaining full consciousness . Practioner stays fully aware and if possible should stay awake and not sleep. If one falls asleep its ok! one can reaps benefit of good sleep. If you are trying to use this meditation to fall asleep than actually do follow instruction “of not falling asleep” during YogNidra, instead make a “Resolve” during Resolve time-at the beginning and at the end of Yog Nidra: A resolve to develop a great sleeping ritual for a resting -rejuvenating - natural sleep every night. Yoga Nidra is a practice of deep relaxation. It is a dynamic sleep in which physical, mental and emotional activity comes to rest. In this episode, following the extensive body scan, we take a dream journey into a forest. This visualization is especially nice to do in autumn. You can also practice it any other time of year, when you are in a phase of letting go or rebirth. Visualisations like the dream journeys serve our mental relaxation and clean our subconscious from hidden content. Yoga Nidra is a guided practice that allows you to access a state of consciousness between waking and sleeping. During this practice the mind & body will begin to switch off. It is often used to aid sleep and help reduce stress & anxiety. Like any meditation, it's about finding the right one for you. Give it a try. Make sure you are warm & comfy enough. Ideally place something over the eyes. Not only will the dark help quieten the senses, the weight will help calm your nervous system.

Yoga Nidra is a dynamic sleep on the threshold between waking and sleeping. It refreshes the body and the mind similar to a power nap. In Yoga Nidra we touch the subconscious and the unconscious dimensions of our mind. We train ourselves to let go of tension and contraction, to the point of releasing all tension in our muscles, mind and emotions. Emotional tension, suppressed feelings and emotions are loosened up and the emotional structure is calmed down. Yoga Nidra or Yogic Sleep is another amazing type of meditation. Similar to the body scan we did a few weeks ago, this type of meditation allows you to focus your attention inwardly as you fall into the "in-between" state between awake and asleep. Studies have shown that a short Yoga Nidra practice is as restful on the body as an extra couple hours of sleep, making it a wonderful practice those days when you are feeling groggy but don't have time for a long nap or rest.
Let's try this again. A repost of the first version of this episode that was a rough draft accidentally posted. A 30 minute yoga nidra meditation. No intro meditation. Great for those who need to restore and stabilize. This is "Yogic Sleep" and you will need 30 uninterrupted minutes laying down where you can deeply relax.
Yogic sleep (Yoga Nidra) is meditation done laying down on your back. Good for mornings when you need a bit more rest in bed, in the middle of the day when you need a pick me up, and especially for deep sleep or trouble falling asleep at night. 15 mins of Yoga Nidra has been scientifically proven to feel like 2+ hours of deep rest, releasing tension from the physical body, conscious/unconscious and subconscious mind.

After 20 years of traveling and studying with respected teachers and nearly a decade in the role of teacher, Jana Roemer settled down in CA to share what she learned about yoga, astrology, and birth with the lovely people of Venice. She is a Midwife of Awakening, guiding people to find answers through their inner voice – ironically, by falling asleep (sorta). One of the practices that Jana teaches is called Yoga Nidra, which is the practice of Yogic Sleep. This ancient practice has you laying down in Savasana, eventually learning to not just fall asleep but enter an altered state of awareness where you learn more about yourself.
