Communications Director at The United West - In the past, Mark was a certified Novell, Broadband, and Cisco Network engineer who was a teacher, designer and implementer of Global Area Networks for AT&T, Sprint and other major telecom carriers throughout the US and abroad. Campbell was one of the select few to lead Cisco Network engineers in implementing and testing the then new Voice over IP protocol in Australia in the late 1990s. After September 11, 2001 Campbell began focusing his efforts on understanding why the 9/11 attacks occurred and wrote three unpublished books on the issue. In 2008 Campbell joined with Tom Trento where in 2009 he and his video team uncovered on film a terrorist fundraising network in Florida coordinated by the then Florida Governor's Faith-based Islamic Advisor Imam Muhammad Musri. This eventually led to the banning of the admitted HAMAS terrorist fundraiser George Galloway from the US and the removal of Musri as Islamic Advisor to the Governor of Florida. Many of Campbell's video exposés have appeared on various major national media outlets such as the Sean Hannity Show, Glenn Beck Show, and MSNBC. Numerous Trento/Campbell videos have "gone viral" on the Internet and have been listed on world viral video charts in the top ten most watched. But if you ask Mark why he made such a drastic career change from designing computer networks to hunting down terrorists in the US, he will simply tell you, "He has to." But if you inquire further, he will ask you a question, "What would you do if you absolutely knew who Hitler was and what he was about do before he came to power and before anyone knew who he was? What would you do?" And then he will tell you, "Well, that's why I do what I do - just an average Joe trying to prevent the next holocaust." Since 9/11, Campbell's goal has been to educate, alert, and unite the world via TheUnitedWest.org to the threat of the genocidally anti-Semitic theocratic ideology known as Shariah Islam - an enemy of western civilization and an Enemy of the State. - www.theunitedwest.orgFor Your Listening Pleasure for these Lockdown / Stay-At-Home COVID and Variants Times - For all the radio shows available on The 'X' Zone Broadcast Network visit - https://www.spreaker.com/user/xzoneradiotv.Our radio shows archives and programming include: A Different Perspective with Kevin Randle; Alien Cosmic Expo Lecture Series; Alien Worlds Radio Show; America's Soul Doctor with Ken Unger; Back in Control Radio Show with Dr. David Hanscom, MD; Connecting with Coincidence with Dr. Bernard Beitman, MD; Dick Tracy; Dimension X; Exploring Tomorrow Radio Show; Flash Gordon; Imagine More Success Radio Show with Syndee Hendricks and Thomas Hydes; Jet Jungle Radio Show; Journey Into Space; Know the Name with Sharon Lynn Wyeth; Lux Radio Theatre - Classic Old Time Radio; Mission Evolution with Gwilda Wiyaka; Paranormal StakeOut with Larry Lawson; Ray Bradbury - Tales Of The Bizarre; Sci Fi Radio Show; Seek Reality with Roberta Grimes; Space Patrol; Stairway to Heaven with Gwilda Wiyaka; The 'X' Zone Radio Show with Rob McConnell; Two Good To Be True with Justina Marsh and Peter Marsh; and many other! That's The ‘X' Zone Broadcast Network Shows and Archives - https://www.spreaker.com/user/xzoneradiotv

Often during difficult times, our society wants things to return to normal; however, as Christians, we are not normal. But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; who once were not a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy (1 Peter 2:9-10).If we can help you in any way, will you please contact us?

Music festival promoters are grappling with major losses after COVID-19 cancelled events. Whilst our outlook for the virus is good, promoters face more hurdles before they can bring major events back. Promoters are struggling to get pandemic coverage that would protect them against future cancellations. Major names in the industry are calling on the Federal Government to set up an insurance scheme for them. Bluesfest had a communicable disease insurance policy and still saw huge losses, but most other events weren't so lucky. Most events never ticked that box, as the industry ran on wafer thin margins even before COVID. Now, it is all but impossible for events to buy insurance against disease outbreaks from private brokers. This means many events are rethinking their plans for 2021 and considering holding off putting on an event for another year. Other organisers are trying to minimise their expenses until after their event has begun. Data given to ABC News by the Australian Festival Association shows music festivals pulled $2.7 billion into the Australian economy every year pre-COVID, and created almost 10,000 jobs. The Federal Government has already created an insurance scheme for some of Australia's film industry. The $50 million fund is administered by Screen Australia and covers up to 60 per cent of a filming budget. After September 11, when insurers stopped covering commercial property for terrorist events, John Howard's government set up the Australian Reinsurance Pool Corporation. In a statement, Arts Minister Paul Fletcher said music festivals and other major events could apply for grants. The Government is providing $75 million through the Restart Investment to Sustain and Expand (RISE) Fund. Music festivals and other major events are able to apply for grants of between $75,000 and $2 million under this scheme to support eligible activities. Mr Fletcher did not comment on industry calls for an insurance solution.

Welcome to this special podcast series, In Conversation with K2 Intelligence FIN: Jeremy Kroll on GRC Risks, Strategies, and the Future, sponsored by K2 Intelligence FIN. This week I visit with K2 Intelligence FIN, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Jeremy Kroll on GRC Risks, Strategies, and the Future. Over this week, we are reviewing the current Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) landscape, GRC at work, GRC and the investment community, GRC and K2 Intelligence FIN and will conclude with a look at GRC then and now. In Part 3, we consider GRC and the investment community. It turns out that the investment community should be one of the biggest users of GRC platforms and technologies, particularly when we examine recent events around risk exposure in anti-money laundering (AML) and other illicit activity. Private equity is built to grow businesses and GRC is a key component as a solutions system. One regulatory area that Jeremy Kroll pointed to was AML, “AML was something you might hear about because of narco-traffickers and that some of the big money center banks were in trouble because they were banking drug dealers. After September 11th, everything changed. There was a wellspring of professionals entering the field, either they entered it because they wanted to serve in government or they wanted to pivot in their careers and go from being an auditor, a lawyer, an in-house risk manager into this whole area of fighting terrorism, through tracking, tracing, and reducing the threat of illicit finance. It only picked up steam and in part because of the whole financial collapse and crisis in 2008. Even beyond that, I think what happened was that the regulatory and enforcement bodies both in the United States and Europe have really committed to cracking down because there is money laundering going on.” All of this has led Jeremy Kroll to conclude that investment firms are looking to invest in companies that can help mitigate these risks more than ever in a post-COVID 19 environment and that an increased innovation and growing number of solutions emerging. The CEO is attempting to assure the public that all the problems have been fixed with the Boeing 737 Max Jet, but will there be real accountability for the tragedies? Iraqi Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi appears to be on his way out of office as the two largest blocs in parliament announced they are withdrawing their support for his government. Political leaders are responding to the massive wave of protests that have engulfed the country and persisted despite deadly repression. Kathy Kelly, co-coordinator of Voices for Creative Non-Violence, and Sputnik News analyst Walter Smolarek, join the show. The National Park Service recently pulled the proposed anti-protest rules that they had announced, after public outrage and tens of thousands of public comments. The rules would have crushed public protest in the nation’s capital, and legal groups were suing the rules as unconstitutional. Brian and John speak with Mara Verheyden-Hilliard, the executive director of the Partnership for Civil Justice Fund, the law firm leading the fight against the unconstitutional protest rules. Lebanese Prime Minister Saad Hariri resigned yesterday in light of mass protests, but President Michel Aoun has asked Hariri government to stay on in a caretaker capacity until a new cabinet is formed. The president will deliver a speech to the nation on Thursday as demonstrators stay in the streets demanding the ouster of the traditional political elite and an end to the sectarian system that dominates the country’s politics. Jana Nakhal, an independent researcher and a member of the central committee of the Lebanese Communist Party, joins the show. The Trump administration has settled on a brazenly colonial strategy towards Syria: take the country’s oil. Philip Mudd, the author of Takedown, a detailed account of intelligence gathering in the hunt for al-Qa'ida, is the ex–deputy director of the CIA's Counterterrorist Center and the FBI's National Security Branch. His writing has appeared in Newsweek, the Wall Street Journal, The Atlantic, Foreign Policy, and the Washington Post. Mudd's Black Site (Liveright) is an account of one of the most controversial initiatives in American history. After September 11, 2001, almost overnight, the CIA evolved into a warfighting intelligence service. In Black Site Mudd addresses how far America actually went to pursue al-Qa'ida and prevent another catastrophe. One tool was an interrogation program of suspected al-Qaida members and other terrorists, known internally as “The Program.” Because the methods might have been questionable by American legal, ethical and moral standards, the work was often done in a web of top-secret “black sites” in other countries outsourced to intelligence agents of other governments. Debates about torture ignited in 2014 after the US Senate published a report of the Program. But the report, Mudd argues, did not fully address questions such as: How did the officials actually come to their decisions? What happened at the detention facilities on a day-to-day basis? And how did the officers feel about what they were doing? Based on interviews from dozens of officials―many of whom have never spoken out before― Black Site seeks answers to these questions and more. It shows the tragedy and triumph of the CIA during its most difficult days. Kirkus Review called Black Site “a revealing and engaging account of life in the shadows.”

Secretary of State Mike Pompeo is being accused of obstructing justice by insisting that State Department employees not cooperate with the investigation; the State Department Inspector General requested an emergency meeting this morning with Intelligence Committee staff members; and both Pompeo and Attorney General Barr and have either been in Italy or have spoken with Italian authorities, reportedly about Joseph Mifsud, a shadowy Maltese academic who is somehow involved. British Prime Minister Boris Johnson is set to present what he says is his final Brexit proposal to the European Union today. The plan was supposed to include customs checks on the Irish border beginning in January 2021. Irish officials dismissed Johnson’s plan as “completely unacceptable,” and then in his speech at the annual Conservative Party conference, he said there would be no customs checks. British business leaders, meanwhile, reiterated their position that a no-deal Brexit would crash the UK’s economy. Alexander Mercouris, the editor-in-chief of The Duran, joins the show. The New York Times is reporting that a senior Boeing engineer filed an internal ethics complaint earlier this year, saying that during the internal development of the 737 Max8 jet, the company had rejected a safety system in order to minimize costs. The engineer believes that the system could have reduced risks that contributed to two crashes that resulted in 346 deaths. Brian and John speak with Dr. Alan Diehl, an award-winning aviation psychologist and safety consultant, a major air safety whistleblower, and the author of the book “Air Safety Investigators.” The United Nations reported yesterday that more than 1,000 migrants and refugees have died in the Mediterranean Sea this year, the sixth consecutive year that what it calls “this bleak milestone” has been reached. The UN refugee agency UNHCR called on European Union member states to reactivate search and rescue operations and to acknowledge the crucial role of aid groups’ vessels in saving lives at sea. What role have U.S. and European intervention played in causing the refugee crisis in the first place? Francis Boyle, a professor of international law at the University of Illinois College of Law and author of the book “Destroying World Order: US Imperialism in the Middle East Before and After September 11,” joins the show. Under a new agreement between the Kiev government and separatist leaders, local elections will be held in separatist-controlled areas in the country’s east and troops from both sides will withdraw from the area. Labor Secretary Alexander Acosta held a press conference today in which he attempted to defend the outrageously lenient plea deal he negotiated when he was a U.S. attorney in Florida with the ultra-rich, well-connected financier Jeffrey Epstein. The release of Justice Department’s Inspector General report on the Mueller investigation is being pushed back because investigators spent much of June interviewing Christopher Steele. Meanwhile, Yahoo News reporter Mike Isikoff is at it again. After writing an utterly discredited book on how the Steele Dossier was a Russian intelligence operation and doubling down on the equally discredited Russia collusion narrative, Isikoff has published an article saying that reports that former DNC staffer Seth Rich was killed by a hit squad working on behalf of Hillary Clinton was, you guessed it, a Russian propaganda operation. Isikoff makes pointed accusations, but the facts in his piece just don’t add up. Jim Kavanagh, the editor of thepolemicist.net, joins the show. The US is promising to ramp up sanctions on Iran and is seeking to create a military coalition to protect commercial shipping off the coasts of Iran and Yemen. Under the plan, a coalition of nations would patrol the Persian Gulf and the Straits of Hormuz, near Iran, and the narrow Bab al-Mandeb that separates Yemen from Africa. This comes just days after the Pentagon sent an additional 2500 troops to the Middle East. Brian and John speak with Massoud Shadjareh. He is the founder of the Islamic Human Rights Commission. At least ten Syrian soldiers were killed yesterday by an al-Qaeda affiliate supported by the US and Turkey in fighting outside Aleppo. In one case, fighters from the Turkestan Islamic Party captured a Syrian border guard near Lattakia, beheaded him, posted a photo of his severed head on his Facebook page using his cell phone, and then called his mother to mock him. What I Love About the FIRE Movement - with Clark Howard

#158: Clark Howard loves the FIRE movement. That's because he's one of us. Clark began investing in real estate at age 22, started a travel agency at age 25, and retired at age 31. He sold his travel agency, moved to the beach and relaxed for four years; then he started a second career as the host of The Clark Howard Show, a popular radio show that's syndicated nationwide. Today, he's a personal finance celebrity. His website receives more than 50 million views per year. He has more than 1.1 million followers on Facebook. He's the former co-host of Evening Express on CNN Headline News, now called HLN, and he also hosted a weekend show on HLN. He's published 10 books, many of which became mega-bestsellers. His book Living Large in Lean Times reached the number one spot on the New York Times bestseller list. Clark is a consumer advocate and personal finance voice who walks the talk. He doesn't accept sponsorships that conflict with his values. He loves frugality and efficiency. Last week, he was traveling in New York on a company expense account, yet he still rode the subway, because he didn't like the idea of wasting money on a taxi ... *even if it wasn't his own money.* He's a philanthropist who leads with a service-first framework. During Hurricane Katrina, he volunteered with a team that handled medical evacuations. After September 11th, he joined the Georgia State Defense Force, which is an unpaid, unarmed volunteer component of the state Department of Defense. He sponsored the construction of 74 houses through Habitat for Humanity. He's provided toys for more than 150,000 foster children at Christmas. He's a multimillionaire and he flies in coach. When the now-infamous Suze Orman episode came out, Clark immediately issued a response on his own syndicated radio show. He came out in strong support of the FIRE movement. He said that he couldn't imagine how anyone could criticize the notion of saving half of your income. When I heard his remarks, I invited him on this show to elaborate. What does he think about the FIRE movement? Why does he like it? How would he respond to the objections? Here are four takeaways from our conversation. #1: We are social creatures. Our idea of a "normal" savings rate, as compared to an "extreme" savings rate, is a cultural construct. Many Asian cultures encourage and normalize a higher savings rate. The household savings rate in China, Singapore and India is significantly higher than the savings rate in the U.S. This is why it's important to fuel the FIRE subculture. By surrounding yourself with voices that normalize a high savings rate, enthusiasm for investing, and a frugal lifestyle, you can encourage yourself to save more. #2: A bull market is irrelevant if you're not saving and investing. Sure, we've experienced an incredible bull market run in the past nine years. Guess who benefitted from this? The people who lived on less than what they earned and invested their savings. If you have investments, you can benefit from a bull market. If you don't, then the best markets in the world won't have any effect on your net worth. That's why saving and investing is the cornerstone to growth. It's easy to dismiss your own accomplishments by saying, "Well, I got lucky because the markets were good." That's like playing soccer, scoring the game-winning goal, and saying, "Well, I got lucky because my teammate passed me the ball at the right moment, when I was positioned to kick the ball into the net." Sure, there may be luck on the field. But you would never experience this if you didn't train, practice, and play the game. #3: Retire early AND often. Don't get so caught up in the goal that you miss the journey. If you're not financially independent yet, don't let this stop you from enjoying life. Take a vacation with your family, or enroll in a wine tasting class, or fly across the country to spend Thanksgiving with awesome people whom you love. Don't defer your happiness and experiences to a later date. All the compound interest in the world can't bring back this era of your life. Enjoy your life, no matter what your financial situation. The most sustainable financial plans are balanced. #4: Don't allow your fear of black swan events to convince you to revert to the status quo. Yes, catastrophes happen, but the normalized American pattern of going into consumer debt, saving less than 5 percent of your income and woefully underpreparing for a traditional retirement is not the solution to the possibility of a future calamity. If you reach financial independence, you'll be in a stronger position to handle most major disasters that come your way. If you're a few paychecks away from disaster, you'll be in a much more financially precarious position. Listen to this interview for more insights from Clark Howard. Enjoy!

Raised on Detroit’s west side, Marseille always saw community service as a part of life, an example set by her parents who were both youth missionaries. So, it was no surprise to friends and family when she selected Wellesley College in Massachusetts after graduating with its belief that every woman can—and should—make a meaningful contribution to her world. After graduating she served as the assistant to the Majority Counsel for the Health, Education, Labor & Pensions Committee under the late Senator Edward M. Kennedy. After September 11th, she followed her supervisor to the Center for Community Change, and then later relocated to Korea to teach English. Upon her return to the United States, she served as a truancy officer until joining the Michigan Department of Corrections. In 2013 while supervising US military Veterans on Felony probation, she co-founded the Oakland County Combat Veterans Treatment Court, one of two combat-only courts in the country. Later she founded the Warriors Trust Fund a nonprofit agency developed to provide support, guidance and financial assistance for participants in the Oakland County Combat Veterans Treatment Court.Marseille moved to Flint, Michigan at what some might consider the worst possible time, shortly before the news of the Flint water crisis broke. She did not cut and run instead she started delivering water to help residents, she also entered and won $10,000 in a GoFundMe contest for her cause. Beyond the headlines, Marseille not only continues to serve the people of Flint but is committed to being there for the long haul as the effects of lead poising will go on long after the pipes are replaced and the water is flowing. It will affect families for generations. Besides talking about Flint, Marseille will share how attending an all-women’s college, Wellesley, its philosophy and continued support has shaped her life and work

Most people don’t realize that on September 11th, planes were known to be high jacked and flying around the Eastern US for over 70 minutes.  After September 11th, many wondered why our air force was unable to stop the high jacked aircraft, especially American Airlines Flight 77 which struck the Pentagon.  American Airlines Flight 11 was high jacked at 8:14. By 8:25 Boston air traffic controllers confirmed that the flight was indeed high jacked and the aircraft struck the North Tower of the World Trade Center at 8:46.   At 9:03, United Airlines Flight 175 struck the South Tower and at that time, the whole world knew that America was under attack.  It was not until 9:37 that American Airlines Flight 77 hit the Pentagon. Therefore, it was a full hour and 10 minutes between the time the FAA knew that Flight 11 was high jacked and the time Flight 77 hit the Pentagon.  How could this happen?  The area around the Pentagon and Washington D.C. is some of the most heavily defended airspace in the World.  This fact led many to believe there had to be a stand down order issued which would have prevented Standard Operating Procedures from allowing these aircraft to be intercepted.  A stand-down is defined as “a relaxation from a state of readiness or alert”.  This certainly took place regarding air defenses on 9/11. One explanation offered was that the terrorists turned off the electronic device known as a transponder, which helps identify aircraft on radar.  As stated by the 9/11 Commission, it is possible, though more difficult, to track an aircraft by its primary radar returns without the transponder.  However, unlike transponder data, primary radar returns do not show the aircraft’s identity and altitude. The 9-11 commission failed to consider the fact that the US military has more than just ground radar at their disposal.  In 2006 a golf ball was hit off the International Space Station.  New Scientist magazine reported that the ball was too small to be tracked by ground radar, but noted that, “US military radar can track space debris as small as 10 centimeters across, and can sometimes see things as small as 5 cm wide if it is in just the right orbit.” There are 35 USAF bases within range of the 9/11 flights, which included the restricted airspace surrounding the Pentagon, Capitol Hill and the White House.  It is hard to believe that a military which possesses such a highly-sophisticated radar system would not have been able to track the high jacked aircraft without a transponder signal. Commercial airliners do not need their transponders on in order to be tracked by the FAA and NORAD.  If America was being attacked by aircraft belonging to a foreign power, it is ridiculous to think these enemy aircraft would have transponders installed to help the US Air Force shoot them down.  It is equally ridiculous to believe the FAA and NORAD lack the technology to track aircraft without a transponder signal.

The Detroit Tigers are leading the division and This Week in Detroit Tigers Baseball is here to talk about it! In episode number nine, I was fortunate to be joined by Jim Weber of WCWA 1230 AM in Toledo. Jim has been the voice of the Toledo Mud Hens for 35 years now, so he knows what he is talking about! Jim told us about some of his experiences in the booth, the rehab of Nate Robertson, the 2009 Mud Hen season, and some insight on current Mud Hens on the roster. Thanks to Jim for taking time to talk to me just hours before a game earlier this week. On the Panel this week are two guys who really know Tigers Baseball. Greg Eno of The Knee Jerks returns to the show, and Ian Casselberrry of Bless You Boys stops by to discuss the latest tigers news this week. Some of the main focus was on the pennant race, September baseball and this strange, strange 2009 team. This week was special because Eno, also known as the “voice of reason” changed a stance of his for the 2009 Tigers team. Also joining us to talk about Scott Green and Andy Dirks, two prospects that might have a future in the Old D, is Paul Wezner of Tigs Town. Tigs Town without a doubt is The best source for Tigers minor league coverage and analysis. Scott Green will undergo surgery, but is still a future late inning reliever. Andy Dirks has shown some power in the outfield, and provides some spark offensively. And finally in our This Week in Detroit Tigers History, we look back to September 4th, 1984 when Jack Morris finally ended his silence with the media. Morris did it as a favor to manager Sparky Anderson, and after his so called silence from the media, Morris responded. After September, Morris went on to pitch three crucial games in the World Series. The rest we all know is the continuance of a hall of fame career. Hopefully the writers eventually realize that too. It’s all here! Remember you can find us on Twitter and email the program. We would love to hear your lovely voices too! All you have to do is call the voicemail line at 231-683-1367!
