They believe anyone’s network is what determines their net-worth! In this episode you will learn: There is no need to sacrifice your own personal goals within your relationship. And it’s even by focusing on striving to be the best person you can be, that will be your invitation to your partner to strive to be the best they can be. You will hear 2 activities and conversations that you can have with your partner today, so that you can feel the most collaborative and supportive of each other (and your relationship goals) that you have ever been. This will put you on the path of achieving the most you ever have together. Questions asked in this interview How do you balance both holding your partner accountable to their goals (both individually and business), but also being their caring spouses and confidant? Is there a certain way you have to approach conversations to not trigger the other, when you want to invite them up (in either their performance or mindset)? Do you hear from men in your group that they don’t really know how to gain their spouses support? What’s your advice for how to communicate their goal to their spouse? Do you think men today are at all intimidated by a powerful female partner? What do you wish you knew about healthy relationships growing up? Quotes: "Always focus on what is good about them, you do not need to try to change them, you wouldn't even want an exact version of yourself" -Amanda "It may sound like a scary question to ask, but ask how you can be a better partner. The answer will surprise you (in a good way)" -Nicholas Other resources: Follow us on Instagram Book your Relationship Breakthrough Session here that was mentioned in the episode PS. Both people may not be fully committed to each other’s vision until there is a big measure of commitment, like engagement or marriage. Make communication your priority so that you both know what each other wants. Write out the list of what you want and refer to that when you are looking for the person who will align with your vision. In keeping the romance alive one of the best things to do is to picture your spouse intimately every day, visualization is a huge component in your relationship to keep the passion alive. Also, make sure you know and are fulfilling your spouse's love languages. You can make any moment non-romantic but you can also turn it around to the opposite. ROmance isn’t one-sided, be the person who is ready and available to your partner, govern yourself and then pour into your partner, don’t try to fix your partner. Today Nicholas and Amanda are kicking things off talking about authenticity and happiness within a relationship. Plus Amanda talks about open relationships and how they built a business together. Shoot us your questions, topics you’d like to discuss, and areas you’d like us to address in the Billion Dollar Body Brotherhood Facebook Group. Time Stamped Notes: [ 01:52 ] Get to Know Us [ 04:48 ] The Why Behind The Show [ 06:19 ] Happy and Broke to Happy and Successful [ 09:02 ] Progress Equals Happiness [ 12:05 ] Open Relationships [ 14:02 ] What Are the Results [ 17:27 ] Where is Your Focus in Your Life [ 20:00 ] Who You Surround Yourself with Takeaways: “We started our relationship in a place where we were not financially stable.” Nicholas and Amanda were able to be happy together as a married couple without all the other “things”. Now that they are successful and have more opportunities they have found that their happiness levels have stayed even, they’ve always been happy and had fun in their relationship through both the good times and bad. When you have an awesome stable relationship you will want to conquer things together. Your circumstances shouldn’t dictate your relationship, you should want to be with your partner even when they don’t have all their ducks in a row. Money can make you happy but it shouldn’t be your foundation. Your happiness in your relationship shouldn’t be judged by external influences because if it was anything could break you up and tear you apart. If one area of your life isn’t performing well, it will affect the other areas. When you are sick you can become more irritable in your work and relationship, if your business isn’t going right you'll lash it out on your relationship, if your relationship isn’t going well you're more likely to emotionally eat and neglect your health. How you do one thing is how you do anything. Resources: BDB Live Brotherhood Facebook Group
In today’s episode Nicholas sits down with his wife Amanda and they talk about what it takes to have a badass relationship. They share everything from the insight they’ve gained from their personal mentors, the books they’ve read, and lessons they’ve applied. As well as talking about what it takes to be an entrepreneur with a successful business life while maintaining a healthy relationship. Timestamped Show Notes: [ 02:30 ] What the entrepreneur needs in a relationship. [ 03:45 ] Higher priority for your relationship [ 05:00 ] Experts. [ 07:12 ] Values [ 08:36 ] When your life vision changes. [ 09:58 ] Personality Tests and Love Languages. [ 15:11 ] Men and Women. [ 18:45 ] Strengths and Weaknesses. [ 19:30 ] Communication and Assumption [ 27:00 ] Working Together. Takeaways: Many entrepreneurs have gone through multiple divorces, why? Entrepreneurs often get bored in romantic relationships because similar to other aspects of their lives entrepreneurs are always looking for next best thing and look for other stimulation. The core thing is always finding the right person with a personality that is conducive to yours, keeping you on your toes, that’s exciting, enthusiastic, and happy to change with you through life. For someone who is always implementing, innovating or changing you need someone to do that with you. Taking 100% responsibility for your relationship means being 100% in your relationship and invested in it. Having a higher priority for the relationship over the things you want to do or achieve will give you a stronger and more solid bond, you may run into disagreements on the way but as long as the relationship is more important to you that situations and circumstances you can get through those disagreements. Have a relationship that is compatible from the get-go, with the lifestyles you want to create and live. Friendship interactions give you the opportunity to get to know those important key things about one another before becoming intimate. Values: Get to know what the other person is all about, what they’re dreams are, what is important to them. Ask questions about their faith, spirituality, finances, business, career paths, health, the way they eat, what they like. Get clear on what they’re values are. Always check in with one another because as you grow different things will be important at different times, changing together and having that communication is important. Whatever you have you can give to a relationship, when you don’t have something you can't offer it in a relationship. If you don’t have self-love you can’t give love in a relationship. If you don’t have compassion and empathy for yourself, you can’t give that in a relationship. The biggest key is to work on yourself to become a better person and then a better partner. This week’s podcast is a special Q & A with Nicholas and Amanda Bayerle. They answer real-life questions with listeners over a Facebook Live video. They cover everything from pivotal moments in business, to the key to having a happy, healthy and thriving marriage and relationship. Nicholas and Amanda also drop in a huge announcement that you’ll definitely want to hear! Time Stamped Show Notes [ 2:12 ] Content Creation: Generating Ideas. [ 6:50 ] Bad Life vs Bad Day: Mindset. [ 12:10 ] Goals and Objectives in a Relationship. [ 17:18 ] Business Turning Points. [ 25:23 ] Visualizing Your Dreams. Takeaways: When generating ideas or content around a specific subject you will want to look at what others have done before you, find a brain dump someone has done on that specific subject or take a look at what others in that industry are saying and writing. You biggest key is to learn from what other people have done but do it in a new and original way. Get connected in communities, find mentors and build on what they have already done. Make it a goal to make it better than before. Creative people often spend time in meditation, sometimes in silence. Learn from other creative thought leader’s processes, how they find the inspiration to create. Learn how to best communicate with your clients, find what they are spending their time on, what they like, and churn out products that fit that demographic. When you face off with a bad day, unplanned, not ideal circumstances ask yourself why...why are you feeling this way, where is it coming from. “Don’t wish things were easier, wish you were better.” You get to chose what is hard, what is difficult and what is easy. You also chose how those “bad” days affect you, for better or worse. When you make a choice to grow, to become better through the “bad” days, you will see the success and growth manifest in your life. Get focused on a vision that’s bigger and greater than your problems and get after it, make it happen. Knowing your strengths and weaknesses within your relationship tremendously important. When you can canvas every area of life and apply your strengths where your partner has a weakness, you are not only bettering yourself but you are also fortifying your relationship. One of you may be a visionary, while the other is the planner, in utilizing both of these strengths you can share the weight of acting on your goals and seeing them come to fruition. The utmost tool you must utilize is communication. If you can communicate powerfully with other people, your spouse or partner specifically, you will be able to accomplish more together. Trial and Error. So many people talk about failure being bad. Many of us have been taught our whole lives that failure is the be all end all of success. However, this has been proven wrong time and time again. If you face failure with the mindset that it will ruin you, that you won’t continue on, that you won’t reach success, you will get exactly that. But, if you let every failure be a learning experience, an opportunity to grow, to try again, to try better, you will reach success. Because conquering every failure with new hope, drive and motivation is a success in and of itself. There is a saying that says most people fail an upwards of three times until they reach the point they want to arrive at. Be clear on your focus and mission, zero in on your “why”, on what you want, and come up with an action plan to get there. That was one of the first steps of mastering our message, figuring out what result we’re trying to get people.” “…at the end of the day people don’t want to buy a process, they want to buy the result the process gives them and the process is just the means of getting there.” “If everyone could generate a high converting funnel then everybody would do it. They have helped over 450 people see life changing health and fitness results over the past 4 years and are now currently coaching some of the highest paid speakers and entrepreneurs to get fit. In today's episode of The Game Changer Podcast, I chat with a Nicholas and Amanda Bayerle who are going to take the health and fitness industry by storm! In Nicholas' story there is one part, that really struck me. It was one sentence, when he was speaking with his dad about his dream to be a pro motocross racer. He asked his dad to spend more time with him to help him train to be the best. And here is that pivotal life moment… his dad looked at him and said, “You'll never be the best.” Stop now and think about the statement: It's not what happens TO you, it's what happens FOR you. Life in that moment changed for Nicholas. And the truth is, we can all relate. We have all had that moment where what we thought would be, for whatever reason… isn't. What separates success from ultimate failure is what we do with those defining moments. That pivotal moment started Nicholas on this trajectory where he met his wife, and together they are inspiring others to change their mindset, get healthy, and live into limitless possibility. Everything happens for a reason, even when we don't realize it in the moment. How to reach Amanda and Nicholas Bayerle: www.facebook.com/nicholasandamandabayerle www.thetruechallenge.com email: support@thetruechallenge.com Snapchat: Nicholasandamandabayerle Best Advice: Just do it. You need to jump in. Associate more pain with staying where you are at, then the pain of what it will take to get where you want to be. What do you believe to be true: Amanda: God is good. Today's Quote is from Jim Rohn Click Below to Listen to Today's Show If you really want to do something, you'll find a way. If you don't, you'll find an excuse.~~ Jim Rohn The truth hurts, but it's still the truth. This is a quote from one of my best friends, Bud Malmstrom. What Jim Rohn says here is the truth! How bad do you want it? My last guest at the end of 2015 was Amanda Bayerle. She and her husband, Nickolas recently started their podcast, How Bad Do You Want It? It's a great podcast that talks to people that had dreams, goals and desires and they did what it took to achieve them. Do you have what it takes to get the goals and dreams you set? Will you DO what it takes to find a way to achieve your dreams? I often talk to a lot of people about the goals they set. I listen to a lot of people that want to do something. More often than not, most of the people I speak to about their goals they find a lot of reasons for why they can't achieve them. They just don't have time. They don't have money to start the business they want. Their family doesn't support them. It takes too much time to be successful. Do you make these types of excuses? When I tell people that I get up at 4 a.m. to go to the gym or to start working on my podcast, they look at me weird and say, " "Whoa, that's way too early for me. I can't get up that early." When I tell them I stay up until 10 - 10:30 at night, or that I spend my Saturday and Sundays working on my podcast, they ask, "How can you do that?" What they don't understand is I want to be a podcaster. This is the method I have to share my message. I want to be a paid motivational speaker. I want to help people achieve their goals and dreams. Since I do have a full-time job, too, I have to FIND the time to do what I want to do. If it means I have to get up earlier or stay up later, or spend weekends working on creating my shows, then I do. They just don't understand. But they don't need to. It's not for them. If you want something bad enough, you will find a way. Check out the last Quote of The Day, qod202, where I talk about people that don't understand. I have a lot of friends and mentors that have succeeded because they did what they needed to do to get there. They didn't make excuses for not being able to do it. If you want something, find the way to get it. Do what it takes, do what you need to do. Go Out Today and Do What You Need To Do To Get What You Want Thank you for listening to Goal Getting Quote of the Day. This is the last of Season one. We will be starting Season 2 of Goal Getting Podcast in the next episode. I am going to be focusing on specific topics throughout Season 2. We will start with one of my top goals for this year. I am Working On Wellness in my own life. If you've been listening, I have Type 2 Diabetes. I became diabetic because of bad decisions I made in my life as I worked on other goals. I didn't take care of myself when I was working on my career goals. I worked hard, traveled and spent a lot of time on the road. I was very successful at achieving my career goals. However, in doing so, I ate poorly, didn't exercise enough and eventually ballooned in weight to 296 pounds AND developed Type 2 Diabetes. I know there are a lot of you that have done the same thing. We concentrate on our goals, our careers and forget to take care of ourselves. The good news is I started working on my weight. I went to work for a Bakery and wore a 4X smock when I started. 2 years later I had dropped 3 sizes down to a 1 X. How did you do that working at a Bakery people ask me. Keep listening to Goal Getting Podcast and learn how I lost 60 pounds working in a bakery. After I left the bakery, I moved to San Francisco, again working on my career. I gained 15 pounds within a year. With a new career and more money, I went back to some old habits. I decided to enter a weight loss contest at work. It was a 16 week contest and I wanted to win. I didn't win. I took second, but I did lose 40 pounds in 16 weeks. How did you lose 40 pounds in 16 weeks you ask. Listen to Goal Getting Podcast Season 2 to learn how you can lose 40 pounds in 20 Weeks. I'll give you about 4 more weeks to do it. After losing that weight, I let old habits slip back in and now I am back on track to not just lose weight. That will be a byproduct of my true goal I have set for this year. What is my goal for this year? Listen to Season 2, Episode 1 to learn The What, The How and The Why of my Work On Wellness Goal for this year. Goal Achievement Success System I want to help you get the goals you set and make this year the best year ever for you. Do you want to achieve your goals?
