It feels like a lifetime ago because so much has changed in this short little bit of time from my last episode that I published in early December. It's amazing what a few months can do for you. And toward the end of last year, too, in episode 87, called Find Podcast Success While Doing Less, that episode is a good one to listen to before this one, because it's kind of a continuation or maybe like a little addendum to that episode. He currently serves as Cable Contract Negotiation Group's (CCNG) Director of Strategic Operations. CCNG works on behalf of owners and investors on negotiation contracts with cable providers.One issue Mark frequently encounters is owners who are unaware that they even have contracts with cable companies to begin with. The renter is instead invited to requalify to reside at that community. Depending on the risk rating of the renter, the quantity of coverage required by the property for that specific screening result, and the amount of the rent, the cost of the policy can range from 15% to 80% of the rent.Christy discusses the importance of having an ESG program in place because it opens up the opportunity to connect with residents on a deeper level.
