Donald Trump's approval rating on every issue continues to plummet, as does his support among every demographic, and that has left Fox News hosts in a tough spot to try to spin their way out of it. But they haven't given up. On Friday's episode of The Five, one of the hosts suggested that Trump's low numbers were not only "expected," but they were due to him being a "victim of his own success" because voters hold him to a higher standard than other human beings. These folks' brains are melting in real time.Staffers in the Trump administration don't have a shortage of excuses ready to go for Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem's bizarre behavior and nonstop costume play, but they are sick and tired of having to give them out. According to a new report, Trump officials are growing exhausted by Noem's behavior and they are ready for her to be gone from the administration. Reports have previously suggested that Trump wants Noem gone himself, and that she is looking for a way to exit before being fired. The planned bailout for American farmers was supposed to be Donald Trump's way of buying their loyalty for another election cycle, but these farmers have been through this song and dance far too many times now to fall for it. They are now speaking out about being used as "political pawns" by the man that they helped put back in office, and they are tired of being abused over and over again by him. And they aren't the only Trump supporters speaking out about his presidency. The Republican-controlled House of Representatives broke a LOT of really bad records this year, the most obvious of which was presiding over the longest government shutdown in American history. But in addition to that grim milestone, this Congress also passed the fewest number of bills EVER, while also seeing a record number of members announce that they are retiring (most of them being Republicans.) This is officially the most "do-nothing Congress" in history.Joe Rogan was absolutely ecstatic when Donald Trump won the 2024 election, as he had spent months trashing Joe Biden while promoting Trump. But just a year later things are completely different, and Rogan has apparently come to the realization that Trump is an unhinged lunatic who can't do anything right. On his podcast on Friday with guest Shane Gillis, Rogan tore into Trump about multiple recent issues that Trump brought upon himself, including his disgusting response to Rob Reiner's murder. Hello and welcome to the first episode of The Magicians season 3! Our Fillory homestead is still blighted by the recent fairy invasion and we just can't shake em. It doesn't help that they can seemingly hear and see everything, everywhere. We would ask for help, but Penny is a bit preoccupied by dying at work and Quentin is doing Jager Bombs with the god of hedonism. Can't pull him away from that kind of party. Thanks for listening! SEND ME A TEXT MESSAGE NOWThis is not the usual Wednesday WTF episode. With Christmas Eve and Christmas Day landing right in the middle of the week, this episode takes a different approach. It is about showing up, staying consistent, and acknowledging the moment without pretending the world suddenly stopped being complicated. As the holidays arrive, the pressure people are feeling has not gone away. The economy still weighs heavily on families. Poll after poll shows frustration building. People are asking for real attention to real problems, not slogans or dismissal, and that tension is part of the backdrop we are all carrying into this season. There is also the growing unease around trust. Promises of transparency feel thin. Explanations feel incomplete. Confidence in institutions continues to erode, and once credibility is lost, it does not stay contained to one issue. It spreads and it changes how people view everything. This episode is about stepping back without checking out. It is about taking a breath even while the noise keeps coming. It is a reminder that pausing is not surrender, and that preserving yourself is sometimes the most responsible thing you can do.And if you are spending the holidays alone, this episode speaks to you as well. You are not invisible and you are not forgotten. Wherever you are emotionally as the year winds down, this is a moment to ground yourself before stepping back into a world that is not done testing any of us.To all the Wolfpack listeners around the world…A VERY happy holiday to you!AWorldGoneMadPodcast@gmail.com

Join Jim and Greg for the Tuesday 3 Martini Lunch, as they serve up all good martinis and discuss the FBI thwarting a major terrorist plot, another conservative elected president in South America, and growing outrage in Minnesota over massive welfare fraud and Gov. Tim Walz's handling of the scandal.First, they applaud the FBI for thwarting a chilling plot by the Turtle Island Liberation Front to carry out a coordinated bombing campaign across Los Angeles beginning on New Year's Eve. Authorities describe the group as pro-Palestine, anti-government, and anti-capitalist. Jim and Greg are grateful for the arrests and are reminded that evil people love to plan horrible things around the holidays.Next, they celebrate the election of conservative Jose Antonio Kast as the next president of Chile. While the media absurdly label him as "far-right," Kast is a conservative Catholic who wants to crack down on crime and secure the border. He's also called a neo-liberal on economics, which means he's for smaller government, free markets, and deregulation. Seems like a leader the U.S. might be able to work with. Finally, they discuss new polling from Minnesota showing deep voter frustration with the state's sprawling welfare fraud scandal. Nearly 80 percent of residents say it is a major problem or the worst problem facing the state, while just 14 percent believe Gov. Tim Walz has handled it well. Jim questions whether Minnesota Democrats will abandon Walz in 2026 or continue standing by him despite the growing scandal. Please visit our great sponsors:Try Quo for free at https://Quo.com/3ML and keep your existing number—Quo means no missed calls, no missed customers.Give your liver the support it deserves with Dose Daily. Episode Title: Unhealthiest Holiday Foods – Part 2: The Persuasion Round The plates are full, the calories are counted—and now it's time to defend the list. In Part 2 of The My Five Cents Podcast episode “Unhealthiest Holiday Foods,” hosts SoSo Juv and Logical Genius return with guest host Jayna Marie of Big Lash Energy and wellness powerhouse Jenn Trepeck for the highly anticipated Persuasion Round. This is where the gloves come off. Each host's Top 5 list goes under cross‑examination, as Jenn and the crew poke holes in the arguments, challenge assumptions, and separate nutrition facts from holiday food folklore. Is it really the worst option—or just misunderstood? Expect sharp debate, science-backed callouts, and a few “I didn't know that” moments. After hearing it all, Jenn deliberates and delivers her verdict, naming who lands in third place and who earns first place as this week's champion. She then shares her own 5 Cents on navigating holiday food—grounded in science, free of guilt, and rooted in real life. The episode wraps with a breakdown of the People's Poll and the Artificial Intelligence Poll, revealing how listeners—and the algorithm—ranked the unhealthiest holiday offenders.

We're back! In this week's episode of “I Vant to Vatch Your Feelm!” we are discussing that most terrifying supernatural creature: the Willem Dafoe. No one knows how long the Willem Dafoe has haunted the dreams of humankind but people everywhere are horribly fascinated by this creature of myth. In Japan, he is known as “Dafoe Willem.” In France, they warn their children about “Le Willem Dafoe”; in Germany, peasants used to whisper tales of “Der Willem Dafoe.” Why is this blood-freezing creature of legend so prevalent? Why do so many superstitions tell us that he cannot enter a dwelling if there is a pink-painted Hostess Twinkie nailed to the door? Why does he fear an autographed copy of any Nora Roberts novel published before 1998? How does he subsist only on chocolate-covered escargot? We may never know . . . but we do know that he stars in this movie as a much less frightening creature, a strange actor who may or may not be a simple vampire, in this fictionalized story of F.W. Murnau's filming of his most famous hit, 1922's “Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror.” Join us and LOOK OUT BEHIND YOU! IT'S WILLEM DAFOE! Ha ha ha, gotcha! Poll question: which do you enjoy more: supernatural monsters like vampires or science-based monsters like mutants or aliens? Version 1.0.0
