Whether it's exercising with a friend, loved one, or in a group class, social support plays a vital role in keeping you motivated, enhancing your mental health, and improving long-term results. This episode is part of our February theme: "Share the Love", where we celebrate the positive impact that community and relationships have on our physical and emotional well-being.Key Takeaways:Social Connections & Longevity: Studies show that strong social bonds reduce the risk of mortality by 50% and contribute to overall better health. Titan Medical Center owner and CEO John Tsikouris, along with Long-time Titan Medical Center athlete, Big DRU answer your health and fitness questions! Topic today was on the different benefits of Enclomiphene. Therapy of the week! GET THE WEIGHT LOSS RESULTS YOU WANT WITH AOD 9604! AOD 9604 is a modified form of amino acids 176-191 of the GH polypeptide. This weight loss therapy works by mimicking the way natural growth hormone regulates fat metabolism but without the adverse effects on blood sugar or growth that is seen with unmodified growth hormone. AOD 9604 stimulates lipolysis (the breakdown or destruction of fat) and inhibits lipogenesis (the transformation of nonfat food materials into body fat). AOD 9604 has no effect on serum IGF-1 levels! Recent findings have shown, in addition to it's fat loss properties, AOD 9604 processes many other regenerative properties associated with growth hormone. Currently trials are underway to show the application of AOD 9604 in osteoarthritis, hypercholesterolemia as well as possible bone and cartilage repair. (This therapy also comes in an oral format as well) We are running a special on our AOD therapy of the week by giving you $25.00 off the original full price. Discount code (#titanup) ends (1/17/2025) If you are looking to finally lose excess body fat well as raising your overall quality of life then this therapy may be right for you!

In today's episode, I'm sharing with you 8 common mistakes that can sabotage your fitness and health goals. Click play, and let's dive in
One of the biggest issues I see right now in the evidence based health and fitness coaching space is the overemphasis of cherry-picking studies to prove your opinion right over actually helping people. Can these studies be helpful? Sure, but is it the only thing in coaching? Absolutely not. I'll explain why a focus on implementation and application far exceeds mere theory and why I think this is a big problem. In this episode, Joe de Sena is having a powerful conversation with fitness icon Clark Bartram, who is on a mission to inspire men to embrace a life of resilience, purpose, and health. This 60-year-old “fitness anomaly” shares his philosophy on making small, daily choices that can have a profound impact on your well-being. His message is both thought-provoking and actionable, as he challenges listeners to choose the stairs over the escalator, to walk instead of calling an Uber, and to prioritize physical activity in a world that often promotes convenience over health. Since his recent prostate cancer diagnosis, Bartram is using his platform to empower men to take control of their health and live life to the fullest. This episode is a must-listen for anyone seeking to break free from the "busy dying" mentality and embrace a mindset of living with energy, purpose, and resilience. Summary of episode:Listed points:Protein is 4 calories per gram. So even with a “high” protein goal like mine of 200 grams of protein, that's only 800 calories.Zooming out can be helpful here, same with a 1 hour workout only being 4% of your total day.Zoom out, break it down into goals and snacks (I.E 5 Meals 40g / ish each)Tips: -Start by getting ahead-Have high protein foods at home readily available-Pre-logging-Change your attitude - accept you may have to make some sacrifices-Start with the protein which is more satisfying / filling/ then move into other foods-Josh's top protein options-Kyle's top protein options Thanks for listening! I apologize that my microphone did not work as perfectly as wonderful Angela is... please do if you can, bear with the sound, and listen to her message. It's an amazing one...Angela is so wonderful. Our conversation flowed beautifully. I apologize for the sound. I did my best to edit it. I am not perfect on my podcast, but the messages to my listeners are. Angela's message is so perfect for my listeners. I loved her honesty and her wisdom. Having an amazing life is up to you. I appreciated comments like Food Freedom, and Enjoy Food. This is where I am now and I am so excited she brought that up. We spoke to how to eat slowly, and also the beautiful things Angela shared. Write down your next day. Journal. For some of her clients, it is important to have the right portions, prepare your day, make sure you have protein, heal, and recover. The strange thing is I realized I do all that. But I can always do better. Although the career that I love has me going up and down stairs, and my legs are fit, my arms are losing muscle. I have all the exercise equipment to do what I said... from 48 to 56 and in better shape. Now 61... I am going to challenge myself. 20-minute workouts just 4 times a week. I am sending Angela my before and after. Does it matter? Not really, except, we spoke to the health around our bones when we get to our 60s. It's not about my caring how I look, it's about protecting my bones. It's about the perception of "I want to look great" to "I want to protect my body" which someone called a meat skin. Yes. It is. And it needs muscle to keep its bones protected. What an amazing lady! About eating disorders? She speaks to a perfect way of finding a diet. NOT A DIET... a way of eating for life. Voices go away when you have peace around food. She talks about food thoughts and releasing that. Nutrition degree, bodybuilding, coming out of being a skinny fat person. I get that. Angela was wonderful in speaking to all this. She was such a beautiful guest. And my BAD. I meant 20 minutes 4 times a week. I was so excited speaking to Angela, I messed up by saying by day. NO! It's 20 minutes 4 times a week. It's all you need. This was a wonderful podcast full of honesty and information. Please connect with Angela by reaching her at houseofshape.comBuzzsprout - Let's get your podcast launched!Start for FREEBE A GUEST/FIND A GUEST Start for Free!PODMATCH is innovative, provides easy communication and dashboard scheduling! Please join us as I talk with Marcus Filly, founder of Functional Bodybuilding and former CrossFit games athlete. I have been following him for years, drawn to his unique programming that blends functional training, high intensity, longetivity principles, and fun. I wanted to pick his brain about how his training has evolved over the years, especially now being a father, and how he prioritizes fitness and health for his kids. I hope you learn and enjoy this conversation as much as I did, and don't forget to subscribe and rate the show, thank you!http://www.movrs.orghttp://www.instagram.com/movrskidsFrom https://functional-bodybuilding.com/about/:Hi, I'm Marcus Filly, the founder of Functional Bodybuilding. After leaving medical school, I turned instead to health and fitness to help people more directly with training and nutrition in their day to day lives. Drawing on an extensive training background in soccer and my competitive Crossfit career, I owned an affiliate for years before changing methodologies to help athletes better succeed through individual coaching. After the 2016 CrossFit Games, I was burned out and broken, and about to become a first time father. Functional Bodybuilding was born out of a need to train more for longevity and sustainability – while still looking good and moving well.Support the Show.

There's a good chance if you listen to this show, you struggle with some degree of perfectionism or perfectionistic thinking. You're really type A; if things aren't done perfectly, they feel like they don't matter; you hyperfocus on/obsess over things like your weight and your fat loss progress, you use phrases like "getting back on track" and "I fell off the wagon;" you've spent some amount of time being really strict with your health and fitness, whether that's through macros, “clean” eating, rigid diets like carnivore or keto or doing things like 75 hard… and after a period of time, that completely blows up in your face, you get burnt out, and you quit doing anything; and lots more. This episode is for you if you want to get better at identifying those traits, understand how they can be problematic, and develop solid strategies on how to shift towards more productive mindsets and habits.
