Genny Schorr is a guitarist, songwriter, stylist, and a defining voice of the LA punk scene — and now she's chronicling it all in her new book, All Roads Lead to Punk. In this episode, Genny shares the wild, candid story of her path through 1970s Los Angeles: from forming Backstage Pass — one of the first female punk bands in the city — to launching Strait Jacket, the LA boutique that became a style hub for rock's biggest names. A conversation with Kathryn Schorr is like zooming down a runway in a jetliner, so Kath and Jan strap in with their tray tables up for rollicking good time as we take a deep dive into Kathryn's childhood, complete with E/R surgeon dad and deceased sibling and then move into her own grown-up life and how a meteor (or maybe two – we lost track!) landed right in the middle of it and we somehow manage to also bitch about food! Employees of a multistate rehab company have been left in the dark after several facilities shut across the country following the suicides of the two top executives.  Retreat Behavioral Health, which has facilities in Florida, Philadelphia and Connecticut, abruptly closed their facility in Palm Beach, Florida, last week.  Employees told WPTV that around 100 mental health and substance use patients were told to pack up and leave, including 30 who had nowhere to go.  Facilities in Lancaster County, PA, and New Haven, CT, have also since shuttered following the deaths of CEO Peter Schorr and CAO Scott Korogodsky.  Korogodsky had taken up the leadership of the company after Schorr killed himself at his home in Delray Beach, according to LancasterOnline.

On Monday, Judge Merchan fined Trump $1,000 for violating the gag order and emphasized that continued violations could result in Trump being sent to jail. 3:15pm- On Monday, former Press Secretary—and current MSNBC host—Jen Psaki stated that she did not believe it's necessary for President Joe Biden to do more press conferences in order to win reelection in 2024. 3:40pm- David Gelman—Defense Attorney & Former Prosecutor—joins The Rich Zeoli Show to discuss his work as a legal surrogate for former President Donald Trump and the Trump 2024 Campaign. Why has Trump been subjected to a gag order while Michael Cohen, for example, has not been? 4:05pm- Isaac Schorr of Mediate reports that talk show host Michael Smerconish has been disinvited from speaking at Dickinson College's commencement ceremony after students complained about a passage from a book he wrote in 2004. Unsurprisingly, the biggest funders also happen to be some of President Joe Biden's biggest campaign donors—including George Soros and the Pritzker family.
