Baxie talks to the legendary Kira Roessler! From 1983 to 1985 Kira found herself touring with Black Flag (arguably one of the most important hardcore bands in history). During that time, Kira recorded three albums, three EPs, and toured relentlessly with Black Flag. Simultaneously she was also busy studying for a degree in applied engineering from UCLA. Kira also recorded several albums under the name DOS with her then husband Mike Watt from The Minutemen. But that's not the end of it. Kira has also had a very successful career in film—winning an Oscar in sound editing for Mad Max: Fury Road. She's also won two Emmy awards for her work on the John Adams miniseries and for Game of Thrones. Kira is about to release her second solo album “Enigma” on July 10th.
