https://www.scottsongs.com/ Scott's Phone Number: 415 755 8140 Kim's Phone Number:425-306-1390 Mindful Masculinity: A Book for Men and the Women Who Love Them By Scott Grace Scott Grace Brings the Humor and the Wisdom to a Matter of Vital Importance to Men – How to Adapt, Grow and Become Fully Themselves in a World Where the Roles of Masculinity are Changing Scott Grace has made every mistake in the book when it comes to being a man, after all, his first role model was Tarzan! But in his funny, insightful, humble, yet powerful manual that helps men transcend the roles, ego, habits, and relationship boxes that they find themselves stuck in, Scott brings solid wisdom that gently nudges his readers to a more conscious conception of what it is to be a successful, purpose-driven, loving and happy man today. In Mindful Masculinity: A Book for Men and the Women Who Love Them, he strips away the misconceptions, embedded beliefs and behaviors that no longer serve, using his hilarious self-deprecating humor to show where he went wrong, and brings to light the new way that attracts people rather than dominates or drives them away—and embellishes one's authenticity. “If Dave Chappelle and Eckart Tolle teamed up to write a book for men, this would be it!” lauds Deborah Poneman, creator of the globally renowned Yes to Success Seminars. Scott Grace's gifts are many—a highly sought-after singer, speaker, workshop leader, life coach and stand-up comedian (who used to open for such legends as Robin Williams and Dana Carvey), he rose to prominence opening for rock star authors and personal growth celebrities. The short list consisted of Deepak Chopra, Dr. John Gray, Louise Hay, Ram Dass, Dr. Bernie Siegel, Byron Katie, Jack Canfield, Joan Borysenko, Mark Victor Hansen, Les Brown, Dr. Judith Orloff, Alan Cohen, Wally Famous Amos and others -- including three presidential candidates, Rev. Jesse Jackson, Dennis Kucinich, and Marianne Williamson. Thanks to a succession of viral YouTubes, he went on to star as The Spiritual Dr. Seuss, combining entertainment, wisdom and comedy. As the new Dr. Seuss for adults, Scott became the headliner at New Thought Churches around the world, adding his unique gift of performing his uplifting and highly entertaining songs, including many written on the spot. He then parlayed that talent into the corporate sector as The Boardroom Bard, and eventually, developed another career writing spot-on personalized songs to honor people on their birthdays, anniversaries and eulogies, etc. Somewhere in there, he found the time to pen four books, Mindful Masculinity being the most recent. Scott's book tackles overcoming the innate driving desire to live up to dad's or one's own expectations, the addiction to NOT feeling, transforming the inner critic, becoming aware of the fear of fear, transcending the compulsion to fix things for a romantic partner, grieving lost ideals and painful experiences, releasing the hold the ego has over heart, letting go of anger and rage self-or-other-inflicted, and much more. Mindful Masculinity is broken into 50+ clever fun-to-read short takes on subjects that shape a man's life and the partner he shares it with. Says Scott: “This book is my love letter to men wanting to be true to themselves, confused about the changing rules and roles of masculinity. It's a love letter to women who want to know more about the challenges men face. Finally, it's a call to action to take charge of your growth so you can make a positive impact on the world with your masculinity.” Mindful Masculinity is available on Amazon.com for $16.95 and on Kindle for $3.99 Rather listen? If you go to a doctor with a mental health concern, you're almost certain to be given a “diagnosis” and likely a prescription to match. It's easy to start to view yourself as your diagnosis rather than someone suffering from symptoms - and those are two very different things. On this episode of Vitality Radio, Jared offers a different way to look at your “diagnosis”. What if the very thing your doctor has told you is a “disorder” is actually your superpower. This is not to minimize symptoms that may be causing disruption in your life, but rather suggests that we can embrace differences in the way our brains work while working to bring the body back into balance naturally. To highlight this, Jared shares the unique strengths of an ADHD type brain through his personal experiences, as well as his wife Jen's transformative journey from struggling with multiple mental health challenges to embracing her true self. This is a powerful message about defining yourself beyond any diagnosis. Dr. Leah has had her son and we are SO excited to welcome baby Kade to the world in this episode, detailing his birth story. Leah takes us on all of the twists and turns of the long unexpected path of getting him earthside - starting with the homebirth plan and natural induction methods to then reaching 42 weeks and pivoting to the hospital to get him here. Sometimes birth is a mystery where we never really get clear answers. We honor and respect what babies communicate to us and in this case, it seemed clear that despite best efforts, his plan was different from hers and she embraced it with grace. Congratulations again to the Gordon family, let's give it a listen! Today Dr. Morgan interviews Dr. Dan Bruce, an airway-focused dentist, as we break down how the shape of the roof of our mouth, called our palate, together with our tongue positioning can affect many areas of our lives, starting in infancy. The palate and tongue don't just affect things like eating and speaking. These parts of our bodies are central to health, and in this episode, we discuss the connection of how these parts of our mouth affect the growth and look of our entire face, how we breathe well (or not), if we have negative health outcomes like sleep apnea, and how it can contribute to behavioral problems like ADHD.This episode is sponsored by:Redmond Salt >> Click here and use code HEALTHYMOTHER to save 15% on your order.Needed >> Click here and use code HEALTHYMOTHER to save 20% off your first order.Resources from this episode:Breath: The New Science of a Lost Art, by James NestorHealthy as a Mother episode #12 A Deep Dive on Lip and Tongue TiesHealthy as a Mother episode #32: The Vital Importance of Baby's Position During Birth with Ann Gilligan, RN, LNC, RYPTLearn more about Dr. Dan Bruce at Boise Integrative DentistryThe ALF Approach: Changing the Face of Orthodontics, by Tasha Turzo-MooreMewing Habit Trainers to look into: Myobrace, Myomunchee, Vivos, Healthy StartDr Morgan's Natural Cold and Flu Remedies courseStay Connected With Us:Healthy As A Mother: www.healthyasamother.comInstagram: @healthyasamotherpodcastDr. Leah: www.womanhoodwellness.comInstagram: @drleahgordonDr. Morgan: www.milkmedicine.comInstagram: @morganmacdermott

Sometimes I struggle with giving a title to my podcasts... I try to figure out how I can hook people in so that they will listen to something that I find so freaking fascinating and I try to implore how crazy important the topic is.The subject of fascia BLOWS my mind, and I want everyone to listen to this!!Fascia is finally become a more widely discussed area of health and wellness, but it still does not receive the attention it deserves in my opinion. It literally impacts EVERYTHING to do with our mind-body system, something that Anna Rahe of GST Body has known for decades.Anna developed a method of movement years ago when she was trying to heal and understand the root of her chronic pain and digestive and lung problems, despite being a yoga and pilates instructor. She decided that spending 2 to 3 hours per night to undo her pain ignited during the day just wasn't going to fit into her life forever. From this pain, introspection and great curiosity, GST Body was born, and through her methods and tools, she has helped many find ease and vitality in their bodies. This is the first of hopefully several conversations... I have many more questions and don't even know yet the full potential of where this topic can go, but I want to find out!In this interview, Anna tells us about:Her pain that started intensely at 18 years old after releasing emotional traumaHow all her certifications as a trainer, yoga and pilates instructor did not help her and in fact exacerbated her problemsHer revelation that fascia was the thing she was missingHow she learned how to get the results she was seeking via movement rather than with the tools she was usingJunk movement = junk fasciaHow focusing on movement brings permanence to positive changeFascia being our 'energetic' system and is a 'distributive' systemHow unhealthy fascia is an electrical block to the body as plugged arteries are a block to the circulatory systemNot all fascia changes yield the same resultsHow fascia has the greatest sensory network of all tissueHow the 5 different mechanical receptors require different inputsHow the fascial net is wired to the nervous system netThe need for many types of movementHow the body remodels according to its influencesHow frequently we need short movement breaksThe fact that most people have over-contracted fasciaHow fascia likes wide ranges of motion and the three types of action it requiresThe three elements that fascia requiresHow rolling doesn't move the pump of fasciaThe need for a variety of movementIf muscle is over-contracting, fascia is under-animatingMy story of releasing my SI joint after days of it being stuckThe need to contract muscles in a certain sequence in order for fascia to flowHow our biomechanics are no longer naturalIf tissue is not gliding, adrenals are held captive3 tips for what you can start incorporating dailyThe reflex of fascia that initiates the desire to moveHow your anxiety and pain are alarms for you to move your fasciaPoints for healing bad hipsNew understanding fo the brain-body relationshipand SO much more! This is the tip of the iceberg and I can't wait to get into more. I love this topic so much as it invites us to get curious and know ourselves at a deeper level; when we own it, it is totally empowering and up to us.That is powerful! We depend far too much on outside influences. It's time to take it ALL back... and knowing your fascia, I believe, is a path to knowing your SELF.Please share all around and please check out my store at: https://www.sovereigncollective.org/shop/To find out more about Anna and her offerings:Website: https://gstbody.com/Website: https://www.annarahe.com/You Tube: https://www.youtube.com/@TheGSTBodyInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/annaraheofgst/If you like what you heard here then please share! Let's talk about zinc. Zinc is involved in 300 different enzymes and over 1000 factors related to DNA. Zinc is involved in your sleep cycles, cognitive function, and making neurotransmitters. Having low zinc increases your risk of diabetes. Zinc also makes up an important group of antioxidants involved with your brain, heart, and muscles. It even helps reduce oxidative stress involved with the mitochondria. Instead of masking a symptom related to zinc deficiency or any other health issue, it's crucial to get to the deeper problem to help prevent further concerns. Learning how to support a healthy body and avoid health issues or recognize the early stages of one is much more simple than trying to fight a health problem. Side effects of advanced zinc deficiency can include: • Loss of appetite • Necrosis • Ulcers • Hypogonadism • Low testosterone • Thymus atrophy • High cortisol • Muscle loss The organ that is most affected by zinc deficiency is the pancreas. The most common early sign of zinc deficiency is foul-smelling stool that floats. Other early signs of zinc deficiency include: • Shortness of breath upon exertion • Cramping • Diarrhea • Abdominal pain • Bloating Top causes of zinc deficiency: • Lack of zinc in the diet • Malabsorption • Inflammation in the gut • Phytates or phytic acid (grains) • Consuming sugar • Diabetes • Stress • Drinking alcohol • Infection Foods rich in zinc: 1. Oysters 2. Crab 3. Other shellfish 4. Meats 5. Fish 6. Nuts

On this episode of Broker to Broker, host Marc Summers has an invigorating heart-to-heart with Broker Owner of Shields Family Home Loans and essential member of AIME's Veteran Homeownership Committee, Brian Shields. Brian shares exactly how he's brought his marketing, his business, and his overall well-being to a new level through being ‘Heart Forward' in everything he does. His social media presence and engagement are both incredible because he shares himself with his community. His peers, clients, and community all get to know him as a person just as much as they know his work. Brian shares his effective, time-tested strategy of sharing yourself and personal, daily life as the model for video content creation: “We don't use it for marketing, we use it to provide for the communities and people that follow us. But, on the flip side, it does help because my audience realizes, ‘Oh, these are real, real people! They're not scripted, and they're not actors. So be as relatable as you can, very heart-forward. One of my favorite lines is ‘I don't have to ask for business as long as everybody knows what I do'.” “Go out and appreciate everything you got, and hold onto it with both hands.” Brian explains as he details his ‘Heart Forward' way of engaging his clients that builds community and trust. “Give your clients the attention that they deserve.”Brian's Heart Forward approach exemplifies the core of what makes brokers great resources for their communities: “Give your clients the attention that they deserve. These people are leaning on us. They're coming to you and me without even knowing who we are to say,' Hey, I want you to handle me, my wife, and my kids buying a house.' They're giving you that trust. We can't be desensitized to that. We've got to make sure that we're appreciating that and giving everything that they deserve and more. And with that, they'll never look for a mortgage broker anywhere else ever again.” Key Points: 1:18 Starting the Broker Side Hustle, to the Broker Lifestyle 6:16 Sharing Yourself and Life as Video Marketing Strategy 11:11 Responding to Engagement to Create More Engagement 16:04 Treating Every Conversation as a New Relationship 21:04 Remaining ‘Heart Forward' for Business and Mental Well-Being 27:27 Supporting those who Support You in the Community This episode is sponsored by RCN Capital
