Today we are going to take a look at Isaiah 41:10. It is a given that we will experience difficulty in this life. It is not a given on how we will handle it. Today we look at the assistance, the help of our God as we journey through this life that He has given to us. It is important to remember that in the midst of God's fury of sin, He continues to love us. We find assistance, that is help many times in the scriptures. Isaiah the prophet tells us, "For I the Lord thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee." O the blessings of His assistance!
The hand represents power and provision. Hands are an extension of our heart. How God uses His hands: as instruments for helping, healing and holding. There is nothing we do daily that does not include our hands.

Negativity is all around you. In fact, our culture is so saturated with negativity that you don't even realize how much influence it has on you. Fortunately, there's a way to rise above all this negativity. Find out how.
Isaiah 41:10 “10 Fear not, for I [am] with you; Be not dismayed, for I [am] your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.” We are told not to fear or not to be afraid more than we are given any other command in the Word of God. This is not an arbitrary instruction meant to soothe our apprehensions. It is a real and valid command that God expects us to follow because He himself is our God. He is the creator of all life and He assures us that He is ours. Further, the original Hebrew word for “dismayed” as it is translated here is a word that means “to look away.” Thus, we are to face God and not look away from Him. If we do not look away then we are unable to look at, evaluate, and react to the circumstances that may present themselves as contradictions to the Word of God. The instructions in this verse can be illustrated in a case study of what not to do when we examine the story of Peter walking out on the water to meet Jesus in Matthew 13. Like Peter, we may back God into a corner where He did not intend to go, but nevertheless will show us that He is who He says He is and that if a man will but obey the word of God, then that man can live by the Word of God. Fear of the Lord opens the door to wisdom.
Fear of the Lord opens the door to wisdom.
We are in a Pit. Our enemies have hunted us like a bird. They even threw stones at us. Our lives may seem like this at times. The cares of this world just drag us into a pit of despair sometimes. We worry. Instead of worrying, we should call on the Name of The Lord in prayer. Like a father loves his little ones, our loving God loves us so much more and he will hear our cry and come near. So we need not fear because God is always near. In fact, as God helps us with our fears, we should help others. Help pull someone else out of their pit of whatever troubles and fears they may be having. Introduce them to a loving God who cares deeply for all of His creation. Introduce them to Jesus Christ.

The reign of King Saul was marked with poor decisions that he made based on fear. Each time fear compelled him to act, his actions were in disobedience to God. Isn't that how it works out for you and I as well? So how does God instruct us to deal with our fear? Time adn time again, God says the same three words, "I am with you." God never promises to remove us from danger. He never promises to give us a solution. But He always promises to be with us in every circumstance we encounter in life. The antidote for fear is God Himself!
