Oggi parliamo della percezione cerebrale del suono. È la prima puntata del podcast totalmente dedicata alla neurologia. Ci serve per riflettere su come entrare o meno nel suono.Il cervello è come se fosse un grande appartamento con stanze super organizzate, ognuna con compiti peculiari. Immagina le stanze di una casa, con funzioni specifiche e dei corridoi che permettono alle stanze di collaborare.Il cervello ha stanze specifiche che interpretano il suono, una ascolta il suono delle parole, un'altra che ascolta il ritmo, una che recepisce la melodia, una che recepisce la componente emozionale del suono: se queste aree non comunicassero fra loro il sistema non funzionerebbe.Il tutto dipende dalle capacità delle aree cerebrali di comunicare fra loro.Immagino che l'ascoltatore del podcast non sappia nulla di questo argomento e comincio dicendo che cosa sono i neuroni: il cuore delle stanze del nostro cervello, le cellule che lo compongono.Il neurone è composto di un nucleo centrale e di dendriti, diramazioni (dendros significa in greco albero) che assorbono le informazioni e un assone, una sorta di tubo di uscita dell'informazione elaborata.La comunicazione dell'impulso nervoso avviene per via elettrica, e le informazioni entrano, vengono elaborate ed escono.Nucleo e dendriti vengono definiti sostanza grigia, perché sono grigi nel cadavere, mentre nelle persone vive sono rossi!Gli assoni invece sono bianchi perché sono ricoperti di una sostanza biancastra, la mielina. Gli assoni sono i corridoi che collegano le stanze della casa/cervello. Se non li avessimo potremmo solo sentire alcune informazioni ma non saremmo in grado di rielaborarle, di interpretarli, di dare un senso alle informazioni ricevute.Parlando di suono, localizziamo il concetto di segni soprasegmentari del suono.Sono ciò che ci permette di confrontare in una sequenza i suoni che abbiamo sentito, e li mettiamo in una sequenza. Ogni singolo suono non ha un valore profondo se non lo metto in relazione con gli altri suoni che vengono diffusi prima o dopo.La capacità di sentire una melodia implica la capacità di sentire e mettere in relazione fra loro diversi toni (note), con elementi di velocità, ritmo, tempo, volume.Nella parte sinistra del cervello si percepiscono le parole nel loro valore semantico e strutturale, ma la percezione del valore comunicativo, sensibile ed espressivo del suono sta nell'emisfero destro. L'area temporale superiore destra riceve il suono e ne distingue le caratteristiche come tono, volume e ritmo, ma l'interpretazione del suono avviene svolta dalle aree associative temporo-parietali destre, che capiscono che cosa il suono ci comunica.Queste aree sono situate sulla corteccia cerebrale, ma ci sono aree sottocorticali più legate all'emozionalità, alla sopravvivenza, alla formazione del nostro carattere, e il suono va anche lì, nel sistema limbico, nell'insula, nell'amigdala, nel talamo, nel cervelletto.In questo caso l'informazione acustica può ricevere mille interpretazioni soggettive, legate alla nostra cultura, alle nostre esperienze, ai traumi… il contenuto ha a che vedere moltissimo con l'esperienza, che forgia totalmente queste aree di cui ti ho parlato.La percezione del suono non può prescindere dall'interpretazione del suono stesso che il cervello fa, e anche dalla risposta che il cervello indica al corpo, e che addirittura il corpo stesso indica a se stesso, reagendo localmente al suono in maniera diretta.L'intervento della ragione su questo è molto piccolo. Le zone del cervello che analizzano il suono sono piccole, mentre le aree cerebrali coinvolte dal suono sono tantissime e il nostro sistema viene sollecitato tanto dal suono, a tutti i livelli. E il significato specifico delle parole è addirittura secondario rispetto alla prosodia!La componente espressiva del suono nel flamenco è gigantesca, e mette in gioco l'intera totalità del nostro essere in un universo emozionale totalizzante. Ecco perché la musica interferisce così profondamente con il nostro essere.Sono Sabina Todaro, mi occupo di flamenco e danze e musiche del mondo arabo dal 1985. Insegno baile flamenco e lyrical arab dance a Milano dal 1990.Sono assolutamente malata di neurologia e voglio che tu capisca quello che intendo.Parlando di flamenco non si può prescindere dal fatto che il nostro cervello venga del tutto travolto dal suono, e devo utilizzare consapevolmente le possibilità di sentire le emozioni che arrivano e collegare il corpo completo di ciò che sento: intuizione, emozione, sensazione, esperienza, analisi, sintesi… Il flamenco ci sollecita a tanti livelli contemporaneamente, e non c'è, come non c'è nella vita, una divisione fra le emozioni.Ci sollecita a tanti livelli! Il flamenco è sempre una metafora della vita e le emozioni ci aiutano a creare un nucleo più profondo della nostra personalità e a sentirci ancora più vivi. È uno strumento di analisi profonda di noi stessi, che ci aiuta a mettere insieme pezzi di noi che sono sempre interessanti da sentire e da vivere.

Este año es mucho más grande y cuenta con iluminación y un molino en movimiento. Es además especial porque por primera vez lo han instalado en el nuevo centro. Yo creia que Paco Salazar era uno de los integrantes de Los Chunguitos. Pero, no. Lo he mirado y los Chunguitos se llamaban Enrique, Juan, Jose y Manuel Salazar. Pero ningun Paco. Ya me estaba yo imaginando a Paco cantando 'Ay que dolor'. O 'Dame veneno'. Pero este puente he estado en Dos Hermanas y por alli me han aclarado que no, que estos Salazar no tienen nada que ver con Paco, aunque, desde luego, la cosa tambien se le este poniendo chunguita.Yo creo que a Salazar lo que le ha pasado es que ha entendido mal el concepto de las 'listas cremallera'. Aunque ahora en serio no se si me causa mas estupor ver a los socialistas, que se supone que no creen que existen las denuncias falsas, intentando taparlo todo, negando la palabra a las presuntas victimas y acusandolas de actuar como enemigas del partido o lo contrario, es decir, ver a toda la derecha convencida de repente de que todas las denuncias son ciertas porque si, porque a ellos les conviene. Que a algunos solo les falta decir "yo si te creo, hermana". Y cantar lo de "el violador eres tu". El truco que les doy a ambos es el mismo: que actuen como si el acusado fuera, por ejemplo, Miguel Tellado. El PSOE seguro que tendria muy claro que es lo que habria que hacer. Y el PP seguro que extremaria la prudencia.La unica postura que cabe es la cautela, la ayuda a las victimas y poner toda la informacion en manos de la fiscalia para ayudar a esclarecer los hechos. Pero, de cualquier modo, Sanchez deberia hacerse mirar en quien confia, que despues de Abalos y de Cerdan recordemos que el que iba directo a la secretaria de organizacion era Salazar. Vayas manos derechas elige Sanchez.Ya lo decia el sabio: Conviene que tu mano derecha no sepa lo que hace tu mano izquierda. Pero creo que en algunos casos conviene todavia mas que tu mano izquierda no sepa lo hace tu mano derecha. Porque se va a enfadar. Y con razon.
