Morning news headlines, more on the Order Of Love...James Thorp, MD, Co-author of Sacrifice: How the Deadliest Vaccine in History Targeted the Most Vulnerable. His story of how medicine lost its mind in Covid Corruption
James Thorp, MD, more than any other doctor, has devoted himself to saving the unborn and the newborn from death by the COVID jabs. He has also fought to save them from unspeakable physical and genetic harm. In addition, he has saved their mothers and fathers from the tragedy of dealing with the death and injury to their babies. James Thorp is one of the most remarkable doctors in the world today. He is unique in the courage and determination he has shown in facing the outrage of his demented colleagues in obstetrics and gynecology, who have accepted and even promoted the slaughter of the most vulnerable humans on Earth. I am proud to have endorsed Dr. Thorp's new book, titled Sacrifice: How the Deadliest Vaccine in History Targeted the Most Vulnerable. The array of endorsements confirms the importance of his work, including U.S. Senator Ron Johnson, Peter McCullough MD, Dr. Naomi Wolf, Steven Hatfill MD, Dr. Drew Pinsky, and Alex Jones. Alex Jones wrote, “A True Hero Among Us, Dr. James Thorp speaks against the ‘COVID Vaccine,' calling it the ‘Highest Kill Rate in History.' His brave words saved countless lives. Thank you for being a Guardian Angel to the vulnerable.” A Guardian Angel to the Vulnerable! Ginger and I endorse this assessment of James Thorp. This interview expresses our most personal reactions to enduring the massive collapse of our medical profession from the onset of COVID-19 and continuing today. Are progressive economic policies truly helping society's most vulnerable, or are they causing more harm than good? In this eye-opening episode of The Brian Nichols Show, Brian sits down with Ben Ayanian, a contributor at Young Voices and author of the compelling new book, "Beyond Intentions: How Progressive Economic Policy Initiatives Would Harm Society's Most Vulnerable." What if the minimum wage, free college tuition, and universal healthcare are actually hurting the very people they're meant to help? Studio Sponsor: Cardio Miracle - "Unlock the secret to a healthier heart, increased energy levels, and transform your cardiovascular fitness like never before.": https://www.briannicholsshow.com/heart Ayanian dives deep into the unintended consequences of well-meaning policies, revealing how government intervention often exacerbates the problems it aims to solve. From the surprising racist origins of minimum wage laws to the real reasons behind skyrocketing college tuition costs, this episode uncovers the hidden truths behind today's most pressing economic issues. The discussion takes an unexpected turn as Ayanian explains why healthcare isn't a "right" in the traditional sense and how the current system's incentives drive up costs for everyone. Learn about the "third-party payer problem" and why simply making healthcare "free" could lead to longer wait times and reduced quality of care. Brian and Ben explore the power of incentives, using a fascinating example from Google's employee cafeteria to illustrate how small changes can lead to significant behavioral shifts. This real-world application of economic principles demonstrates the importance of looking beyond surface-level solutions to complex problems. Don't miss this thought-provoking conversation that challenges listeners to think critically about economic policy and its real-world impacts. Whether you're a staunch progressive, a committed libertarian, or somewhere in between, this episode of The Brian Nichols Show will leave you questioning your assumptions and eager to learn more about the true effects of economic interventions. ❤️ Order Cardio Miracle (https://www.briannicholsshow.com/heart) with code TBNS at checkout for 15% off and take a step towards better heart health and overall well-being!
It's a shame that most public policy is judged by its intentions rather than its results. Benjamin Ayanian joins me to talk about his new book on the subject. It's called Beyond Intention: How Progressive Economic Policy Initiatives Would Harm Society's Most Vulnerable. The strongest evidence that I'm becoming an old man can be seen in my growing certainty that we were a better society when people dressed up before going in public. Jeff Minnick wonders, how did America become a nation of slobs? Apparently, it's very concerning to some folks when we doubt the legitimacy of the state's authority over us. Paul Rosenberg has an excellent examination of the social contract and whether it meets the criteria for legitimacy. Article of the Day: Hollywood used to be a source of entertainment. Now it's a source of entitlement and irritation. Sasha Stone explains how Hollywood can't save itself, let alone Joe Biden. Sponsors: Life Saving Food Fifty Two Seven Alliance Iron Sight Brewing Co. Parasites are everywhere: in our bodies, in our water, even in our cats' litter boxes. Are they agents of chaos—or just misunderstood? This week, Dr. Sebastian Lourido joins Jonathan to discuss the epic world of parasites, from pinworms to toxoplasma gondii to, yes, humans. Parasites! They're everything, everywhere, all at once. Dr. Sebastian Lourido is an Associate Professor of Biology at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a member of the Whitehead Institute for Biomedical Research. Lourido grew up in Colombia before attending Tulane University, where he earned degrees in Art and Biology. He then worked with Arturo Zychlinsky, at the Max Planck Institute for Infection Biology, before pursuing his Ph.D. at Washington University with L. David Sibley. In 2012, in lieu of traditional postdoctoral training, Lourido started his own lab as a Whitehead Fellow studying the molecular hallmarks of apicomplexan parasitism through proteomics and functional genomics. Lourido was recruited to his present position in 2017 where he continues his research and co-teaches courses in Microbial Pathogenesis and Cell Biology. You can follow Dr. Lourido and the Lourido Lab on Twitter @LouridoLab, @WhiteheadInst and @MITBiology. For more information, check out the websites for the Lourido Lab and Whitehead Institute. New Orleans is a city in a swamp—a city, some argue, that should have never been built. So how did it become one of America's most important sites in the 1800s, and a critical battleground in the American Civil War? This week, to mark the new season of Queer Eye, we're exploring New Orleans history with Dr. Kathryn Olivarius in a special two-part episode. Today, we're breaking down the basics on antebellum New Orleans. Summary of Part 1+ The Church BEGAN in a house (will it END in houses?) + No Church ‘buildings' (earliest in the 200s, converted house)+ Revival needed houses – evangelism/teaching/discipling+ Public Meetings (i.e. Temple) often led to problems+ First 10-year period involved ONLY Jews & circumcised proselytes (2:5 - “devout Jews”, 2:11 - “both Jews and converts to Judaism”)+ House-sized churches are still the norm in many places on Earth+ Fearful (masked) people won't go to big meetings, but homes?+ House meetings necessitate relational evangelism (vs. contact)ACTS TIMELINE/EVENTS – AD 40 – Gentile Pentecost (3.0)ACTS 9:43 - 43 And he [Peter] stayed in Joppa for many days with one Simon, a tanner. [in a house]Acts 10:1-5 - 1 At Caesarea there was a man named Cornelius, a centurion of what was known as the Italian Cohort, 2 a devout man who feared God with all his household, gave alms generously to the people, and prayed continually to God. 3 About the ninth hour of the day (WHILE IN PRAYER – v. 30) he saw clearly in a vision an angel of God come in and say to him, “Cornelius.” (HIS NAME) 4 And he stared at him in terror and said, “What is it, Lord?” And he said to him, “Your prayers and your alms have ascended as a memorial before God. (HIS PRAYERS) 5 And now send men to Joppa (PETER'S CITY) and bring one Simon who is called Peter (PETER'S FULL NAME). *WHO IS CALLING WHO?* - Lost calling the saved – Are we expecting this??Acts 10:6-8 - 6 He is lodging with one Simon, a tanner, whose house is by the sea. (PETER'S ADDRESS from an Angel!)” 7 When the angel who spoke to him had departed, he called two of his servants and a devout soldier from among those who attended him, 8 and having related everything to them, he sent them to Joppa. *FIRST-TIME OBEDIENCE*Acts 10:9-20 - 9 The next day, as they were on their journey and approaching the city, Peter went up on the housetop about the sixth hour to pray. (WHILE IN PRAYER) 10 And he became hungry and wanted something to eat, but while they were preparing it, he fell into a trance (MOST VULNERABLE) 11 and saw the heavens opened and something like a great sheet descending, being let down by its four corners upon the earth. 12 In it were all kinds of animals and reptiles and birds of the air. 13 And there came a voice to him: “Rise, Peter; kill and eat.” 14 But Peter said, “By no means, Lord; for I have never eaten anything that is common or unclean.” 15 And the voice came to him again a second time, “What God has made clean, do not call common.” 16 This happened three times, and the thing was taken up at once to heaven. 17 Now while Peter was inwardly perplexed as to what the vision that he had seen might mean, behold, the men who were sent by Cornelius, having made inquiry for Simon's house, stood at the gate (DIVINE TIMING) 18 and called out to ask whether Simon who was called Peter was lodging there. 19 And while Peter was pondering the vision, the Spirit said to him, “Behold, three men are looking for you. 20 Rise and go down and accompany them without hesitation, for I have sent them.” *ROLE OF SUPERNATURAL* - New Wineskins often require it. i.e. Muslims*DIETARY LAWS? OLD COVENANT* – also an entirely NEW WINESKIN*3 encounters + 1 Holy Spirit “says”* - WE can be STUCK in our ways, methods, expectationsActs 10:21-33 - 21 And Peter went down to the men and said, “I am the one you are looking for. What is the reason for your coming?” 22 And they said, “Cornelius, a centurion, an upright and God-fearing man, who is well spoken of by the whole Jewish nation, was directed by a holy angel to send for you to come to his house (VIOLATION!) and to hear what you have to say.” 23 So he invited them in to be his guests. The next day he rose and *went away with them* (WITHOUT the “Approval” of the other Apostles!), and some of the brothers from Joppa accompanied him. 24 And on the following day they entered Caesarea. Cornelius was expecting them and had called together his relatives and close friends. 25 When Peter entered, Cornelius met him and fell down at his feet and worshiped him (CONFUSION). 26 But Peter lifted him up, saying, “Stand up; I too am a man.” 27 And as he talked with him, he went in and found many persons gathered. 28 And he said to them, “You yourselves know how unlawful it is for a Jew to associate with or to visit anyone of another nation, but God has shown me that I should not call any person common or unclean. 29 So when I was sent for, I came without objection (LOL). I ask then why you sent for me.” 30 And Cornelius said, “Four days ago, about this hour, I was praying (+ “fasting” – some translations) in my house at the ninth hour, and behold, a man stood before me in bright clothing 31 and said, ‘Cornelius, your prayer has been heard and your alms have been remembered before God. 32 Send therefore to Joppa and ask for Simon who is called Peter. He is lodging in the house of Simon, a tanner, by the sea.' (SHARED THE DETAILED PROPHETIC WORD) 33 So I sent for you at once (TRUE), and you have been kind enough to come. Now therefore we are all here in the presence of God to hear ALL that you have been COMMANDED by the Lord.” *LOST want to hear ALL* - not watering anything down, avoiding the difficult (Jesus = ONLY WAY, issue of sin/repentance, judgment)Acts 10:34-48 - 34 So Peter opened his mouth and said: “Truly I understand that God shows no partiality, 35 but in every nation anyone who fears him and does what is right is acceptable to him. 36 As for the word that he sent to Israel, preaching good news of peace through Jesus Christ (he is Lord of all), 37 you yourselves know what happened throughout all Judea, beginning from Galilee after the baptism that John proclaimed: 38 how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power. He went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with him. 39 And we are witnesses of all that he did both in the country of the Jews and in Jerusalem. They put him to death by hanging him on a tree, 40 but God raised him on the third day and made him to appear, 41 not to all the people but to us who had been chosen by God as witnesses, who ate and drank with him after he rose from the dead. 42 And *he commanded us to preach* to the people and to testify that he is the one appointed by God to be judge of the living and the dead. 43 To him all the prophets bear witness that everyone who believes in him receives forgiveness of sins through his name.” (THE GOSPEL) 44 While Peter was still saying these things, the Holy Spirit fell on ALL who heard the word. 45 And THE BELIEVERS from among the circumcised [Jewish background] who had come with Peter WERE AMAZED, because the gift of the Holy Spirit was poured out even on the Gentiles. 46 For they were hearing them speaking in tongues and extolling God. Then Peter declared, 47 “Can anyone withhold water for baptizing these people, who have received the Holy Spirit just as we have?” 48 And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. Then they [Gentiles] asked him [Peter] to remain [in their house] for some days.*Preaching* - not “listening” – an apostle w/ an apostolic mandate*Not just praying for people, prophesying…but also PREACHING!*Who will we be “amazed” by when the Holy Spirit comes upon them? “even on the _______”*BELIEVE & BE BAPTIZED – no delays / Spirit baptism!SUMMARY1. Meetings in HOMES (2 Biblical Strategies – are there more?)a. PENTECOST 1.0 – For Jewish believers (a church w/ house groups to a church OF house groups)b. PENTECOST 2.0 - For the harvest/lost/despised/rejected – 1st Century - Gentiles/Muslims/LGBTQ+?/Homeless?This new wineskin was a HUGE barrier for Peter – going into THEIR homes! Jewish Dietary laws = obsolete (Old Covenant)HOW will we find modern-day “God Fearers”? We don't want it to take 10 years to discover the fullness of our calling!!2. God pouring out His Spirit on house churches - Iran – 1 million believers? Evangelism in the U.S.?*Both sides needed revelation – Cornelius (lost) & Peter (Christians)*The bigger barrier was on the side of the believers – today? LGBTQ+? / *Jews & Arabs? – End Time harvest?3. New means NEW – not going back to normal, will we learn what God has been trying to teach us? New approaches, new lifestyles, new obedience? Holding things loosely.4. Not getting distracted – silence other “voices” GOSPEL!!! – “run in such a way that you get the prize” (I Cor 9:24)5. More Prophetic Direction – More training/equipping/teaching - only doing what we see/hear the Father doing/sayingWHOSE HOME NEEDS TO BE OPENED NEXT?

Investigative journalist and author Alexandra Robbins joins me this week to discuss her new book, 'The Teachers: A Year Inside America's Most Vulnerable, Important Profession.' This conversation hits close to home for me because my mother was a teacher and my wife is a teacher. I've been surrounded by them my whole life, and some of the people who shaped my career were teachers. I hate to see what politicians and impressionable parents are doing to our teachers right now.Alexandra's book is a fascinating look at a year in the life of three teachers from different grade levels and areas of the country. We get to see how their lives differ and how they are the same. I hope the right people read this and see it's time we give more love and support to our teachers.

The school closures in India due to the COVID-19 Pandemic have been among the longest in the world. For close to 18 months, 265 million students have not been to school. The report, “A FUTURE AT STAKE -Organizing the Education Recovery for the Most Vulnerable” states that India is facing an education emergency like none other since independence. The report was released by The National Coalition on the Education Emergency (NCEE), a network of like-minded organisations that have come together to address the problems created by school closure for the past nearly two years. And as the schools are gradually re-opening, a new concern has crept up in the minds of educators and parents alike, how will children cope up with the vast gap that has developed in their academics? This is the second episode in the two-part series on schools reopening all over the country. In this episode of The Suno India Show, host Kunika Balhotra speaks with Dr Sajitha Bashir, the author of the report, to understand what steps schools and governments should take to address this education emergency. Dr Bashir is a former Adviser in the Office of the Global Director of the Education Practice in the World Bank, where she led the work on Digital Skills. She co-authored the regional publication The Converging Technology Revolution and Human Capital: Potential and Implications for South Asia. Prior to joining the World Bank, she was head of the national research and evaluation unit within the Government of India's national District Primary Education Program. She is a core member of the National Coalition on the Education Emergency in India. Part of God's plan for the Church is to bring hope and healing to the world. How can we practically play a role in the development and restoration of communities around the world, particularly those in extreme crisis? In Today's Conversation podcast, NAE President Walter Kim sits down with Myal Greene, World Relief's new president and CEO. They discuss the situations in Haiti and Afghanistan, and especially the opportunity for Christians to show the love of Christ with refugees. Myal also shares: What inspires and sustains his ministry with the vulnerable and those facing injustice; The opportunity and responsibility of Christians to meet refugees with welcome; How World Relief empowers the local church in crises around the world; and A word of encouragement and hope as we navigate challenging times. Read a Portion of the Transcript Walter: With the evolving situation in Afghanistan, it's clear there is a humanitarian disaster that will have long-term impacts. What do you see World Relief's role in bringing assistance not only to this tragic situation in Afghanistan, but its impact here in the states as well? Myal: This is one of those crises that will be a truly memorable moment for all of us who live through this season in this time. The images coming out of Afghanistan are heartbreaking. They're really on historic proportions in terms of a refugee crisis just in a matter of days. The U.S. is preparing to welcome refugees — a large number that hasn't been since at the end of the Vietnam War. So really, it's a question for us in this country and for the church in this country to consider how are we engaging in this great crisis of the time? I think there's always a valuable question for the Church which is: “When the world is going through difficulties, how do we choose to respond?” I see this as the pivotal moment for us to ask the question, “Who is our neighbor?” Jesus asked that question in his ministry in relation to: Who is the person that helped? What I would be interested to see is: Who are these Afghans that have come to this country, and who do they think their neighbor is? Who are the ones they see offering care and love and assistance and welcome? And is that the Church, or is that someone else in society? That for us should really be our motivation. We as the Church, how do we open our arms to people who are going through the worst days of their life, experiencing some of the most horrible acts of evil and sin against them that people could even imagine? They are coming to a new country that's a foreign land. They don't speak the language many of them. They don't know the culture. Are they met with hostility or are they met with welcome? I think that for us is really the great opportunity to consider. Romans 12:21 says to repay evil with good, and for me that's a verse I've gravitated to a lot in these days when these individuals are fleeing Afghanistan, fleeing evil and fleeing the most difficult circumstances. We can't fight the Taliban in our suburban neighborhood, but we can show these people love and welcome and care. So how do we go against those works that the devil has meant to harm and hurt people and use them for good? Put our hands of love around people and welcome them and make them part of our society and really, hopefully, display who Jesus is to them in these interactions that we have with them. Share the Love If you enjoyed the program, please rate it on iTunes and write a brief review. That will help get the word out and raise the visibility of the show. Some topics are easier to approach in the workplace than others. Conflicting issues and viewpoints often leave leaders stuck between a rock and a hard place. Discussing topics like diversity and inclusion can feel risky for leaders who don't know how their teams will react. With these leaders in mind, Dr. Gayle Juneau Butler and Dr. Janet Pilcher collaborated to develop a 3-stage framework to have positive, inclusive conversations. Listen as Gayle joins Janet to walk us through that approach. This episode addresses questions, such as:What is the biggest barrier for leaders who are trying to address conflicting issues and viewpoints in the workplace? How do we create a space people can trust and engage within? What communication tactics can we use to approach inclusive conversations? [00:30] Killing the Most Vulnerable (44 minutes) It’s well known that COVID-19’s lethality is most prevalent among the elderly, especially those who have underlying health conditions. That would mean protecting nursing homes should be a top priority. In the early weeks of the outbreak, many nursing homes took their own precautions to quarantine and send sick residents to the hospital. In New York, however, that stopped on March 25 when Gov. Andrew Cuomo issued a mandate requiring nursing homes to accept recovering coronavirus patients from hospitals, even if they were still contagious. A similar story played out in Italy, and it may explain why the death tolls in these areas are so high. [45:00] The Blame Game (10 minutes) If we are to believe Nancy Pelosi and Adam Schiff, had they been able to remove President Donald Trump in February, this whole pandemic could have been avoided. Schiff said earlier this week that President Trump is largely responsible for the deaths of tens of thousands of Americans.

The REAL driver behind COVID-19 is TWOFOLD: 1. To prove the ability to "weaponize" a biological virus to manipulate and coerce domestic populations to perform according to the will of its Leader. 2. To create 'market panics to manipulate and dominate activity and thus satisfy their gluttonous greed at the expense of the MOST VULNERABLE. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/david-patrick-wilson/support

When surveying the ill-informed, shoddy work that at times passes as in-depth journalism regarding Islam these days, a rationalist may well be tempted to slip into a secular simulacrum of John Bunyan’s Slough of Despond. In reputable press outlets, articles regularly appear in which the author proceeds from an erroneous premise through a fallacious argument to a fatuous conclusion. Compound all this — especially in the main case I’m about to discuss, that of the British former Islamist turned reformer, Maajid Nawaz — with the apparent intent to defame or cast aspersions, and you get worthless artifacts of journalistic malfeasance that should be dismissed out of hand, but that, given the seriousness of the subject, nevertheless merit attention. For starters, a few words about premises and some necessary background. Those who deploy the “stupid term” (see Christopher Hitchens) “Islamophobia” to silence critics of the faith hold, in essence, that Muslims deserve to be approached as a race apart, and not as equals, not as individual adults capable of rational choice, but as lifelong members of an immutable, … The post Free Speech and Islam — The Left Betrays the Most Vulnerable appeared first on Quillette.
