There are moments in life that ask everything of us. When the ground feels uncertain and the future unclear, it can feel impossible to keep moving forward with an open heart. And yet, it is inside of these very moments that something extraordinary can happen. We discover a deeper faith, a more resilient truth, and a kind of love for ourselves that wasn't fully accessible before. When we choose not to numb or distract, but to stay with what's here, we begin to build something steady and sacred within us. Suzanne is here with us today. She's been walking through a series of deep losses — twelve loved ones in two years — and facing the unfolding reality of a chronic illness that's affecting her eyesight. And yet, within all of that, there is a profound spiritual presence inside of her. Her trust in her path, her connection to the Divine, and her unwavering devotion to her purpose are breathtaking to witness. Even while she holds real fears and pain in her human experience, she is also choosing to move toward her soul. In this reading, we speak about what it means to live in two worlds: the physical world where grief and limitation exist, and the soul world that continues to expand. Through the metaphor of a tree, Spirit shows Suzanne the importance of tending to the youngest parts of herself — those still asking to be seen and integrated — and reminds her that the challenges she faces are also gateways to her next becoming. We also talk about what it means to truly integrate rather than release, and how the parts we often try to shed may in fact be holding our greatest wisdom. Lieve vrienden,   In 2022 waren we al eens bij haar te gast in Zutphen: Marja de Vries. We spraken toen uitgebreid over het tot stand komen van haar boeken De Hele Olifant in Beeld en Samenlevingen in Balans. Het was een gesprek dat bij velen resoneerde, zo bleek wel uit de reacties. Marja legde toen uit hoe de zeven universele wetten ons kunnen helpen de wereld — en onszelf — beter te begrijpen. Deze nieuwe aflevering is daar een waardevol vervolg op!    We spreken in deze tweede aflevering met Marja over de rol van trauma in onze samenleving, over opvoeding, onderwijs en waarom velen van ons de verbinding met zichzelf zijn kwijtgeraakt. Volgens Marja zijn we collectief gaan geloven dat onbalans onze natuurlijke staat is. “We leven al duizenden jaren in een getraumatiseerde samenleving, maar we herkennen het niet meer.” En dat is niet zonder gevolgen. Waar een hert zichzelf instinctief los schudt zodra gevaar geweken is, blijven wij als mensen vaak vastzitten in bevroren energie. We zijn alles met ons hoofd gaan oplossen en zijn het contact met ons natuurlijke herstelvermogen kwijtgeraakt.   Ze vertelt over haar gesprekken met Wisdom Keepers van over de hele wereld. Mensen die nog verbonden zijn met eeuwenoude kennis over wat het betekent om in harmonie te leven — met jezelf, met elkaar, met de aarde. “Ik ben op zoek gegaan naar bronnen van wijsheid die generaties lang zijn doorgegeven. Wat ze gemeen hebben, is dat ze leven volgens universele wetten. Die wetten gelden overal in het universum en ook in de natuur. En die werken optimaal. Overal.” We spreken ook over de impact van ons onderwijssysteem en hoe het kinderen — die in balans worden geboren — juist uit die natuurlijke balans trekt. “Zolang we als samenleving niet leren omgaan met emoties en met het grotere geheel, blijven we hinken op één been. We zitten vast in het redeneren, maar missen het voelen.”   Volgens Marja is er wél een alternatief. Maar dat vraagt om moed, volharding en eerlijk zelfonderzoek.“De conclusie van mijn boek is: er is een alternatief. Maar dat werkt alleen als we bereid zijn tot innerlijke transformatie. Dat vraagt overgave. There's so much pressure in our world to leap into what's next. We often think the answers live somewhere out ahead of us, just beyond reach, waiting for us to catch up. But what if the most important part of the journey is the moment you're standing in right now? What if this space, the quiet, messy, blooming middle, is exactly where you're meant to be?   Stefani is here with us today. So many of us get caught in this place of feeling like we have to make the “right” decision. We are navigating the huge human wounds of perfection, needing to know, and getting everything right, with the fear that our lives will fall apart if we stop and breathe for even a moment. The purpose that lives within you is trying to get your attention. It's getting louder and louder, asking you to move into this new way of being and let your old life disintegrate. Making the decision to listen to it, and move in the direction it's asking you to can be scary and often bring up feelings of uncertainty, but you hold inside you all the wisdom you need in order to find your place in this world.    Jo is here with us today. She's at that point in her life where she knows that a deeper purpose is calling to her. She's currently an EMT, having been called to help people all her life. And now, that calling is asking her to step into the spiritual world, bringing together her skills as a Reiki practitioner, mediumship and intuitive development, and she arrives on our call feeling like she's not entirely sure of what she wants to do.   In this conversation, we talk about the part of her that is committed to what she knows she wants to do, as well as the other part of her that is worried about what other people will think.  We talk about the importance of community in bringing her vision to the world, and committing to the part of her that is sure of her purpose. Where are you doubting yourself? Where are you doubting your relationship with your intuition, your connection to the universe, to nature, to divine support? Oftentimes, especially those of us who have experienced traumatic things in childhood, we have a hard time connecting to Spirit in adulthood, even if we know that we possess these wonderful gifts of intuition. But it is very possible to allow all the parts of you to become present.   Cheryl is here with us today. As a kid, Cheryl lived in the foster system. She had quite a traumatic upbringing, and she's finding that in her life today, she's doubting connection to Spirit and her soul. She's followed a particular path for most of her life and is now feeling like none of this is making any sense anymore. This is a first in the fifteen year history of my newsletter! We did not manage to cover all the interesting points of last week's newsletter on our podcast DrivingToTheRez.com, and therefore we are now going to unpack some points that we ran out of time for. Here goes:* The nature of darkness in duality Although we have covered this topic in the past, it is always a good idea to review it when we start talking about the light/dark experience. We did touch a little bit on this topic on last week's podcast #235Darkness, and now we are talking real darkness and not theoretical stuff, is not natural to our planet or our species. It is not natural for us to want to hurt others, torture, and enslave them. Yes, sometimes we get upset and we lash back, but this is a reaction inside the light/dark paradigm and not a natural action.We are continuously taught that darkness is good for us and makes us stronger (in other words, being tortured, having a painful and oppressive experience of life, fear and terror helps us in some way), but the fact is that the nature of those experiences is meant to disable us. They do not empower us in any way or form. And they do not empower our planet or our species. When we set ourselves against another person or group, and go out of our way to hurt them, do we do it to make them stronger? No, we do not.* Earth in the "silent" part of the universe.In the article, I described a second recurring dream I had as an adult. This dream came in the precursor to the request from the high-frequency human collective and Gaia for me to go public. In that dream, or vision, I felt a silence, or void, in the Universe. When I got close, I saw that there was much suffering there. To me, this was a way to understand why so many light-beings come to Earth to bring light and high-frequencies here. It gave me perspective to the larger collective of existence outside of our planet.* Planets as planes of existenceWe did talk about this phenomenon a little bit during our Wisdom Keeper hour of the podcast last week. However, we can definitely see that the understanding we have of what a planet consists of, or even what the Universe really looks like, will bring us a long way to understand the games we are presently involved in.Many people might correlate a plane of existence to mean the flat Earth theory. However, this theory is as accurate to the true nature of Earth as the marble speeding through space theory. Or Earth as a ball theory.That is probably because"plane" originates from the Latin word "planus," meaning "level or flat." Although some etymologists will relate the word ‘planet” to a Greek word meaning “wanderer”, they cannot be sure of its origin.In my own observations, that I can barely translate into human language, it appears that what we think of as planets, stars, the cosmos, Universe, galaxies and such, are not marbles or fireballs travelling at gazillions of miles an hour through a vacuum called space. They are closer to what we might call a bundle of agreements in what to experience as physical beings. It is malleable and flexible. Like a lucid dream.* Cling-ons (in relation to the dark and how to let them go)We often think we live in isolation. That our experience is solely created by us, and there is no other input than what we experience ourselves. In a natural state, experience in our Universe, and our planet, does not contain entities that feed off fear, suffering, pain, horror, disgust, envy, greed, etc. When we invited that band of frequency into our lives here, we also had to create as well as invite entities that could hold that frequency and those parameters of existence. Without those co-creators, and the limitations of awareness we have placed on ourselves, we cannot naturally have those low-frequency experiences. What I call negative-cling-ons are indeed entities who cling on to ourselves and feed off those frequencies, plus help us co-create situations where we will feel those things. Staying in your authenticity and speaking your truth can be very difficult, especially when events from your childhood created patterns and programs within you that are still playing out in your communication skills today. It's in the process of sitting with the younger parts of yourself that you can begin to heal these patterns and gain a greater understanding of why in difficult moments you drop into old habits.    Bart is here with us today. He's bumping up against some programs and stories that I like to classify as compulsions and aversions. He's finding that he can't step into his authentic voice in situations where he wants to, and gets caught between either not saying what he really means, or getting a little bit too fiery about the conversation.   In this reading, we explore the core memories that have led to this programming, and talk about the protection pattern of being extremely logical as a way to keep ourselves safe. We also have a beautiful discussion around creativity and play. I hope this reading helps you to consider what areas in your life your patterns may be showing up as well as finding your way back to the creative essence of your soul. When we're going through hard things, sometimes it can be difficult to spot the deeper truth that is threaded through the circumstances in life. Yet, there is so much room to explore our connection to ourselves in those moments, and really become more intimate with our spirituality and our alignment with our purpose.   Haley is here with us today. She has recently gone through a breakup, and she's looking for guidance on how to navigate this space. You complete a cycle of initiation and a new one begins. I am walking in a storm in the dark.A crossroads appears out of nowhere for me, and for you.When you thought you were nearing your destinationa new journey opens.It's like a labyrinth. It seems to go on and on. Always looking to reach the center.Then as soon as you have arrived, making our way back outcrossing other people on the pathHopefully when you return to your life,you know the place you came from, newly, for the first time. Because after all, it is your life. And returning over and over and over to your same life with different eyes This is life. Breathe with me.As you breathe in, acknowledge, I am a sacred being, as you breathe out, all beings are sacred. Breathing in, I am a sacred being. Pausing and breathing out, all beings are sacred. Breathing in, I am a sacred being. Breathing out, all beings are sacred.Woman, Sister, Friend,I can't really imagine all the things that have shaped you into who you are. You really have been through so much.But right in this moment, I just want to acknowledge you for making it this far. The rain comes and kisses my handsand I have this wish that you were with meI think of how we are earth, earthing,I think of how we are this stardest, starringin our own lives, perhaps not quite as glamourouslyas we once may have dreamedbut we are still Star Girls, aren't we? We are cooling sacks of stars.Woman, sister, friend, this whole thing is an initiation!I don't have to tell you that, because you already knowbut it is good to be reminded.I know, as sure as I know anything, this it isn't exactly as you dreamed and maybe not what you wanted or how you thought it would go.And like me you wonder and worry about things like trust, about health,about prosperity, longevity about the state of the world and your house and the health of your childrenand your children's children.We wake up wondering, how did we get here?We wake up worryingWhat can I fix today?I walk around the stones.One cowgirls boot in front of the other.I come face to face with to a giant Grandmother Oak.I place my hands upon that mossy bark and I say, thank you for helping me breathe. I want to breathe with you.Breathing in, I am a sacred being. Breathing out, You are a sacred being. Right in this moment there is a sacred exchange of energy flowing between us that lets us know we are so much more than enough. Let us drop the ayers of imposedunworthiness that we took on without even knowing it.Outdated patterns that serve no one, Be gone! Let me just assure you now, you ARE worthy. Your worthiness is innate, no onecan give it to you and no one can take it from you.May the voice within you that has been hard on you be catalyzed into fierce wisdom and discernment and sharpened as a tool with your mind.You have honed over many years of witnessing what was safe and what wasn't,it tried to protect you but now it's too hard on you.What if your our inner voice could starts to show you how and when to protect yourself, without hardening yourself.Oooh. That is the riddle for women, isn't it? How do we not harden ourselves as we guard ourselves?Walking alone at night in this village of wisdom-keepers and healersI have no fear and I recognizethis is a rare feeling. I know you know.Yet right now, there's a field around us a softening into love. My bubble of love bounces up to your bubble of love and says, Hello Friend!I affirm you, you are so much more than enough! And you are so worthy of all the love you have to give. The reality that you even exist is a radiant miracle to me!I bow at the feet of Mother Life for you at this tree. Let us pause and let all the beauty come into usand let all the beauty we choose to express flow out from us. This is a sacred exchange of energyinto the matter-based beings that we are.Between us and all creationto all the directions, all the elements, ahhhh…you are sacred beings and we are sacred beingswith you.Woman, sister, friend, I choose each step around this circleof stones and I raise my hands up to the skystars shining through rain andI say to the whole universe, I remember you! In this episode of Magical Moments, we explore the power of simple yet profound prayers, intentions or devotions that can serve as anchors in uncertain times. With the world feeling heavy and overwhelming, it's essential to find a place of refuge within ourselves, a space of divine connection and inner peace.   Three of my favorite prayers that have offered me guidance and support when I needed it most.    The first is simply, Show me. Whether it's clarity on the next step, where to find support, or how to navigate a challenge, this prayer invites divine wisdom into our lives.    The second is Help me, a direct call for assistance when we feel lost, overwhelmed, or uncertain. By keeping these prayers open-ended, we step aside and allow something greater than ourselves to move in, offering guidance beyond what we might imagine.   The third prayer is one I carry throughout my day: Thank you. Practicing gratitude, even in difficult moments, shifts our consciousness and opens us to deeper learning. When we can acknowledge both what we like and what we resist, we create space for transformation. Greetings, Wisdom Keeper!Is your reality correctly perceived?This question has two sides. We can become cognisant of those two sides by asking, “perceived by whom? One of those sides, and the most common, is where you feel that others don't interpret you correctly. An example of this side would be if you ever asked yourself, “why don't people get me?” Or when you make a statement such as, “I just don't get those people.” Some other examples are, “nobody understands me.” Or, “people just don't get where I am coming from.” Or, “if you could walk a day in my shoes.”The other side of this equation is less common but growing in popularity. This one is encompassed in the question, “am I interpreting my reality correctly?”Both sides of this equation are fascinating.It is commonplace for other people not to understand you or perceive the reality of your life correctly. We have not been given the tools or examples of how to do this.The next question we could ask ourselves around this first topic, which would move us along, could then be, “how do I express myself in a way that others can understand me and perceive me correctly?” But although it does move us along, it can easily entrap us.Here is the problem. Most people don't care to understand you or see your true nature. Not really. Even if another person is super interested in your life and reality, it will eventually become obvious that they have their own personal reason, their own importances for that interest. And it doesn't actually involve you or your reality.It is a dynamic of, “what is in it for me?”In the Love, Sex and Relationships Course, I give an exercise where the person sits in a public place, like a cafe, and as they see people they make a statement “that person is too…bla bla” then the answer comes, “for what?” And the answer illustrates our own agendas around connecting or not connecting with that person. It shows us many programs we may have running that limit our perception of the people around us. Programs that make up the reality we can see, and the reality we cannot see without breaking some barriers first.It is one of the main links in the chain of the power-over-others paradigm to be what is commonly referred as self-absorbed. In the West, self-absorption, or being self-involved, is pushed into a growing child in every single way and in every single day. Why? You may ask.Because otherwise, the child would naturally become sovereign and interpret the question the other way, “Am I perceiving my reality correctly?”Once a person starts asking themselves that question, even if once a day, the power-over-others mechanizations start to crack wide open.It is a first step, of course. “Am I perceiving my reality correctly?”As we ask this question, our minds expand and we test what we are perceiving. Often, when this happens, the programs and beliefs that hold us in a reality of fear and stress stop influencing us.The mechanisms to influence the masses and keep them locked up in their own self-absorbed state are easily crushed when we turn the tables on this simple question.A step after that could be, “am I perceiving your reality correctly?” And after that, “are we perceiving our reality correctly?”Play around with all of these questions. The way events in the world are happening at the moment is challenging and brings up a lot for so many of us. As we look for comfort in each other, in ourselves and in community, it is also important to look below the surface of our own lives to see where we are fighting against ourselves. The way forward lies in us being willing to see something different in our patterns and learning to connect to ourselves in different ways. By doing this we create a new way of being together, and can let the old fall away in devotion to something greater that is unfolding.    Ann is here with us today. She's in a place where so many of us are: diving into something new and purposeful, yet there are parts of us that we want to wish away. We think they're wild and untamed, showing up when we really don't want them to. Yet these parts we try to hide are actually the most incredible parts of us, and have so much wisdom to share. We're all the subject of so much societal and cultural programming. We follow these predetermined scripts often without realizing the harm that they are doing to our health and wellbeing because the pressure is so great to follow those norms. One of these stories in action is our tendency to think we can only have one thing at the expense of another, that multiple things cannot exist at one time, perpetuating the illusion and delusion of the world we're living in today.   Christina is here with us today. She's bumping up against some repetitive patterns including our collective story about “either/or”. So many of us limit ourselves by saying we can have this, OR we can have that, thinking that we can't possibly have both. We tell ourselves we don't have the time, we don't have the resources, or that we can't put ourselves first while still honoring other people.   In this conversation today, we explore the idea of “either/or” through a wider lens and discuss ways that we can support others while still showing up for ourselves. We look at how we get caught in people-pleasing, a repetitive pattern where we put others' wellbeing over our own. I hope this reading allows you to see how these stories are playing out in your own life, and reminds you that you play an important roll in the interconnectedness of all of life. This year of 2025 I promised to speak more about “lineages”. The lineages that I can speak about are my own three lineages which are Alchemist, Magic and Shamanic, but I will also talk about other lineages we can tap into.Of course, I have spoken about this extensively with the Wisdom Keepers and Seekers at WalkWithMeNow.com on many monthly and weekly meetups.In this article I will do a summary of what “lineages” mean. I will follow up with articles on the three lineages I carry, personally, during 2025.If you want to join the conversation, but are financially strapped and can't join Walk With Me Now yet, for $8 a month you can join the podcast afterparty every Friday at 9am Pacific by subscribing to the Wisdom Keeper Hour at DrivingToTheRez.com.With all that info out of the way, let's explore this first topic.What do I mean by Lineages?A lineage, to me, is a bundle of wisdom and practical applications of that wisdom that a person inherits or creates to be inherited in the future.These lineages can be passed genetically and I call these Ancestral Lineages. Others can be passed from master to student, these I call School Lineages, and some can be passed in one sitting, telepathically and energetically, through the agreement of both the lineage and the recipient. Let's call these Field of Wisdom Lineages.There very well could be many more types of lineages, but the above are the ones I have personal experience with. For example, I am pretty sure there are lineages a person can carry at a soul level from lifetime to lifetime. I've seen evidence of those lineages in children who can do extraordinary things as toddlers. For example, paint like an adult, or play music like a maestro.The lineages themselves contain thousands of years of wisdom keeping and the application of those wisdoms. They are not static, they evolve with each generation of wisdom keepers. In this way, all these lineages are also wisdom seeker lineages.I have found that individuals can carry a genetic lineage, for example, or receive a field of energy lineage, and they don't tap into it, or use it. This lineage either becomes dormant inside of them, atrophy, or dissipates.This is because lineages are both sentient and alive. If the person doesn't feed or use them, they cease to exist.I will give you a summary of how I received my three lineages.* The alchemist lineage.This lineage is a hereditary one, from my father's family. It was passed to me directly from my grandfather, bypassing my father and his sister. This is a combination of genetic and field of wisdom lineage. It cannot be passed to people outside of the family gene pool. This lineage has the capacity to “speak” to me directly. It would have been better if my grandfather had lived long enough to train me, but without his training I found that my exploration of the lineage is free of dogma and I am able to study the data and wisdoms in a more expansive and direct way. It is a very powerful and active lineage and insistent on my daily practices, applications and study.Some of the areas that this lineage covers are art, music, power objects and artifacts, and what we might also call magic.* Magical lineage.This is also a hereditary lineage, but it is passed down from teacher to student in a schooling sense. The child, or adult apprentice, needs to have the capacity to receive it, but they are not restricted to family or genes. It is also very linked to training at a physical level, and is not passed down at an energetic or telepathic level. I received this one from my mother's side of the family. She, herself, passed down a lot of skills and information to me, and one of her sisters did also. Think gypsies.* Shamanic lineage.I am calling this one a shamanic lineage for lack of a better word. The one I carry is the lineage of the Machi. It is indigenous to the Americas, Mapuche tribes, and passed directly from adult to child, or apprentice, in a big bundle of data.The data is formed of not just the information that all previous Machi's carried, but also their personalities and life stories. In an ideal situation, once the child or apprentice receives the lineage, they will study under the Machi who passed it to them for many decades. I received two Machi lineages, but was not lucky enough to study under them. Decoding and exploring the data in the lineage is very telepathic in nature, but harder than if I had been instructed by one of the Machi who passed me their lineage. Due to the lack of instruction a huge percentage of the lineage data is not available to me. I could make it available with tons of hours of study and dedicated decoding.I am looking forward to hearing what our Wisdom Keeper panelists will be sharing about their own lineages. So many of us can understand the overwhelm that comes from knowing that as we grow things need to change in our lives, yet we are not quite ready to let go of all that we have created from the previous version of ourselves. This can cause things to start unraveling leaving us at a crossroads not knowing which way to go. We are not fully grounded in something new, and yet at the same time our old life is fading away. However, in this in-between space, there's a lot of room to explore what our souls truly desire.   Angela is here with us today. She is, like so many of us, juggling so many things. She has a successful corporate career in marketing and is also exploring her intuitive gifts, giving akashic readings as a side job. She has three beautiful children, is in a loving relationship, and is committed to her spiritual path. However, all of these things are making it a little overwhelming to navigate her life.   In this conversation, we dive into how to practically prioritize different aspects of our life, as well as how our relationship with our childhoods and our parents can influence the way that we show up in adulthood, possibly preventing us from following our hearts. Our Wisdom Keepers Driving To The Rez panelist, Fred, asked a fabulous question the other day. He said, and I quote:“Why do some people have experience, or internal knowing, that provides unshakable belief in woo, while others hear, read and discuss the same topics but remain forever skeptical needing to gather more evidence but forever believe woo isn't really real.
