What happens when a long-term gay couple is no longer fully monogamous—but neither partner feels entirely comfortable calling the relationship open? Ken Howard, LCSW, CST explores the emotional territory between monogamy and consensual non-monogamy: relationships that change gradually, sexual agreements that make sense intellectually but remain difficult emotionally, and the difference between genuine acceptance and reluctant permission. This episode examines erotic grief, aging, changing desire, hookup-app use, fear of losing a shared life, and the difficult conversations couples sometimes avoid. Rather than arguing that one relationship structure is superior, Ken encourages gay male couples to build relationships deliberately—with honesty, mutual awareness, emotional respect, and agreements that can evolve as their lives change. In this episode of Better Call Daddy, host Reena Friedman Watts sits down with Kiko Zang, business executive, tech founder, and opinion leader building human-centric consumer products. Kiko is the Founder & CEO of Chomp, a social game that rewards honesty instead of punishing it and she's on a mission to fix what she calls the "performative internet." Kiko opens up about her path from boarding school in China to New Zealand and the United States, the anti-authoritarian streak she carried as a kid, and the long road to understanding her own identity across cultures. The conversation gets candid as she discusses her experience with open relationships and how it reshaped her views on love, trust, kindness, and loyalty then turns to the bigger picture: why social media rewards performance over authenticity, why women in particular self-censor online, and why honest human belief may be the scarcest, most valuable data in the age of AI. Kiko also shares her founder journey from COO at Orca (one of Solana's largest decentralized exchanges, where she helped raise $19M and grow the platform to $1B+ in 24-hour trading volume) to building Chomp, which drew 50,000 beta users sharing millions of honest answers and raised $3.6M from backers including BlueYard, JSquare, and Accomplice placing her among the 2% of female-led startups to raise venture capital. Chomp launches on iOS in 2026. Equal parts personal memoir and founder story, this episode covers identity, relationships, resilience, the loneliness epidemic, the funding gap for female founders, and what it takes to build something real in a "dead internet" full of bots and AI slop. Keywords: Kiko Zang, boarding school identity, open relationships podcast, cultural identity, female tech founder, women in venture capital, social media and authenticity, dead internet theory, Chomp app, Solana Orca DEX, honest opinions app, read the room, loneliness epidemic, Better Call Daddy podcast, Reena Friedman Watts

Some conversations are just too good to stay buried in the archives. This week I'm bringing back one of my absolute favorite episodes with Jessica Fern, author of Polysecure, and David Cooley, co-author of Polywise. Even three years later, this conversation feels just as relevant, thoughtful, and practical as it did the first time we recorded it.If you've ever struggled with jealousy, conflict, emotional triggers, or wondered how to build relationships that actually grow stronger through hard conversations, you're going to want to listen to this one. What I love most about this conversation is that Jessica and David don't just teach relationship theory. They share the messy, beautiful reality of living it. They talk openly about opening their relationship, divorce, becoming life partners again, raising a child together, repairing after conflict, and the emotional work it took to get there. We explore what emotional intelligence actually looks like in everyday relationships, why slowing down often creates more freedom than rushing ahead, and how conflict can become one of the greatest pathways to intimacy instead of something to avoid. One of my favorite moments comes near the end of the episode, when Jessica and David turn the tables and interview me about my own journey through jealousy. Looking back now, it's fascinating to hear that conversation knowing how much my work has continued to evolve around helping people move through jealousy with compassion instead of shame. If you're newer to non-monogamy, this episode will give you practical tools for navigating the inevitable challenges that come with growth. If you've been practicing for years, I think you'll still find yourself nodding along and maybe hearing something in a completely new way.In this episode, we talk about:Why relationships don't have to fit an all-or-nothing modelWhat emotional intelligence actually looks like in healthy relationshipsHow to recognize when repair is needed before resentment buildsThe role conflict plays in creating deeper intimacyWorking with nervous system regulation during difficult conversationsWhy curiosity is one of the greatest relationship skills you can developThe power of slowing down while opening a relationshipHealing attachment wounds and building lasting securityWhether polyamory is an identity, an orientation, or a relationship choiceMy personal journey from overwhelming jealousy to emotional freedomWhether you're just opening your relationship or you've been practicing non-monogamy for years, this conversation is full of the kind of wisdom that only comes from people who've done the work themselves.I'd love to hear what stands out to you after listening. Come find me on Instagram and let me know what resonated most.If this episode supports you, please share it with someone who could use a little more compassion, clarity, and hope on their own relationship journey. Thanks for being here, and enjoy this Rewind episode.Send us Fan MailSupport the show
OnlyFans, Fansly and LoyalFans creator, cam girl and stripper Rogue has one hell of a story to tell. We get into her love of facials, taking her infamous “cum walks” into public, interviewing strangers with the evidence still on her face, gangbangs, DP, discovering just how intensely she can cum from anal, and the mishap that temporarily put her favorite kind of play on hold.We also get into orgies with men and women, the wildest requests from her fans, her surprisingly heartwarming road into sex work, and, of course, the craziest stories from her years in the strip club. One of them involves Fettuccine Alfredo. We close with Rogue's potential move into mainstream porn and whether or not she believes in aliens. In part two of my conversation with Susan Bratton and Karl Eberhardt, we go even deeper into what actually holds a non-monogamous relationship together. We talk about why communication can make or break an open relationship, what Karl learned about himself after six years of practicing polyamory, and the concept they call "Team Sweetie" — showing up for each other through illness, grief, and everything in between. Susan shares her free "Alchemy of Intimacy" guide for couples considering this kind of relationship, and we get into the practical side of staying safe: their fluid-bonded screening process, the STI most people have never heard of, and why standard insurance testing doesn't catch everything. We close with what it really means to love your partners through their mistakes. In This Episode:0:00 – Welcome Back: Picking Up Where We Left Off0:24 – Intro: Redefining Life & Sex After 500:46 – Why Good Communication Makes (or Breaks) an Open Relationship3:35 – Six Years In: What Polyamory Taught Karl About Himself4:59 – "Team Sweetie": Showing Up for Each Other Through Crisis7:15 – Susan's Advice: The Alchemy of Intimacy & 10 Rules for Success8:45 – Karl's Advice: Build the Framework Before You Open Up10:23 – The Screening Document: Where New Partners Start11:07 – Inside the STI Testing Protocol: Mycoplasma, Incubation Periods & Protex Health14:00 – Nobody's Perfect: Loving Your Partners Through Mistakes15:08 – The Testing Gap: Why Insurance Won't Screen for Herpes17:09 – Final TakeawaysTo watch the video version of this episode, head over to YouTube!Testing before getting physical is non-negotiable for me — ProDx Health makes it easy. We get into working for Brazzers, what she's building on OnlyFans, the requests that fill up her inbox, the ones she never saw coming, and why fans can't seem to get enough. We also talk about her years as a stripper, the craziest stories from the club, partying with a famous rapper, people doing lines off of her asshole, pulling off her first DP, and why she's putting every major studio on notice: stop making her wait and book her first gangbang already. Taboo to Truth: Unapologetic Conversations About Sexuality in Midlife
Non-monogamy is one of the topics I get asked about more than almost anything else, so in this episode I sit down with Susan Bratton and Karl Eberhardt to dig into what open relationships, polyamory, and relationship anarchy actually look like day to day — not the theory, the lived experience. We talk about how to know you're ready to open a relationship, the STI screening protocol that makes it work, how jealousy and compersion actually show up, and the moment a 35-year marriage nearly ended over what gets called "husband thievery." We also get into how an adult daughter found out her parents were non-monogamous in one short conversation, and how a "summer boy toy" earned a promotion to full-time boyfriend. Whether you're curious, skeptical, or already living this life, this conversation is going to challenge some assumptions.Mentioned in this episode: Testing before getting physical is non-negotiable for me — ProDx Health makes it easy. What is it actually like to grow up in a polyamorous family? There are plenty of opinions about how non-monogamy affects children, but very few of those opinions come from people who actually lived it.In this re-released episode of Nope, We're Not Monogamous, I sit down with educator, author, and activist Koe Creation, who grew up in a polyamorous family and now helps people navigate conversations around relationships, gender, sexuality, and chosen family.Together we explore what childhood was really like, how parents can create emotionally safe homes, and why honesty, trust, and communication matter so much more than whether your relationships fit traditional expectations. We also talk about navigating judgment from the outside world, introducing partners to children, "meta parents," and the importance of giving kids age-appropriate information without making relationships feel secret or shameful.Whether you're already raising children in a non-monogamous family, considering opening your relationship, or simply curious about what healthy alternative family structures can look like, this conversation offers a thoughtful perspective that challenges many of the assumptions our culture still holds. In this episode we discuss:What it was like growing up in a polyamorous familyHow children experience non-monogamy differently than adults often assumeTalking with kids about relationships in age-appropriate waysCreating emotional safety through honesty instead of secrecyNavigating schools, extended family, and social stigmaThe role of chosen family and "meta parents"Why communication matters more than family structureThe Platinum Rule: treating people the way they want to be treatedWhat today's media still gets wrong about polyamoryTimestamps00:00 Why people misunderstand polyamorous families01:25 Meet Koe Creation06:00 Choosing non-monogamy for yourself12:30 Growing up outside traditional family structures21:50 Privacy, secrecy, and navigating the outside world28:50 Talking to children about non-monogamy40:00 The Platinum Rule and healthier relationships51:00 Representation, media, and the future of polyamorous familiesConnect with Koe CreationWebsite: https://www.koecreation.comX/Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/koecreationBooks MentionedThis Heart Holds Many: My Life as the Non-Binary Millennial of a Polyamorous Family by Koe CreationSex at Dawn by Christopher Ryan and Cacilda Jethá❤️ If you enjoyed this episode, please subscribe, leave a review, or share it with someone who could use a little reassurance that there are many ways to build a loving family. If you're navigating jealousy, opening a relationship, or trying to create healthier, more secure connections, you can book a free Clarity Chat with me at elleciapaine.com/chat.About the PodcastNope, We're Not Monogamous explores the real lives of people creating love outside traditional relationship structures. Brooksie Brooks is a Babestation streamer, stripper, and self-proclaimed squirt queen—and she has the stats to back it up. And because Brooksie is also a stripper, you know I had to ask for her craziest stories from the club. She gives me three—INCLUDING THE WILDEST STRIP CLUB STORY WE'VE EVER HAD ON THE SHOW. Throwback to another one of my favorite conversations! Have you ever wondered where the line actually is between loyalty and betrayal? In this episode, I'm joined by Dr. Scott Lyons to unpack the messy, subjective world of infidelity in 2025. We get into the questions couples almost never ask each other… is porn cheating, is a flirty DM cheating, is fantasizing about someone else cheating… and why avoiding these conversations is often what leads to bigger ruptures down the line. I also get vulnerable about my own history as a self-described "reformed cheater," and Scott and I both open up about being on the receiving end of infidelity ourselves. We break down the real stats on who cheats and why, talk through micro-cheating and emotional affairs in the age of social media, and walk through what genuine repair looks like when trust has been broken. If you want a real, no-shame framework for defining your own relationship boundaries, this one's for you. Today I'm sitting down with therapist and relationship coach Mindy Glover to talk about infidelity and open relationships. We explore why infidelity causes such deep pain, the importance of clearly defining boundaries, and how assumptions can lead to misunderstandings. Mindy introduces me to the concept of "blue brain" versus "red brain" decision-making, and explains why agreements are hard to maintain when we're emotional or aroused. We also discuss transparency in open relationships and how to heal after boundary violations. Mindy shares a personal "infidelity story" exercise that couples can use to understand their triggers and build healthier, more authentic relationships.Mindy's Fascination with Infidelity (01:37)Mindy explains her lifelong fascination with infidelity, viewing it as a powerful, often deal-breaking force in relationships. Why Infidelity is a Deal Breaker (04:09)Infidelity shatters the illusion of security and the belief that you truly know your partner, causing immense pain. The Problem with Monogamy's Assumptions (07:06)Couples often assume they share the same definition of infidelity, which sets them up for misunderstanding and failure. How People Protect Themselves from Infidelity (08:42)Mindy discusses different strategies people use to avoid infidelity, including control, delusion, and exploring open relationships.Blue Brain vs. Red Brain in Relationships (11:06)Neuroscience explains how we make calm, logical decisions (blue brain) but different, aroused decisions (red brain), causing conflict. The Inevitability of Mistakes and Reporting Issues (14:08)Because of our "red brain," mistakes are inevitable, leading to a "reporting problem" in open relationships due to shame.Honoring Individual Relationship Containers (17:18)The discussion explores the complexity of honoring privacy and boundaries within each separate relationship in a polyamorous dynamic. The Beauty and Challenge of Showing Different Parts of Yourself (20:38)Open relationships allow different parts of one's personality to emerge, which can be both beautiful and challenging for partners. The Concept of "Poly Bypassing" (24:42)Mindy introduces "poly bypassing," where individuals suppress real feelings like jealousy to appear enlightened, similar to spiritual bypassing. How to Start the Conversation About Infidelity (27:00)Mindy suggests couples write their own "infidelity story" to understand their personal history, fears, and triggers around cheating. The Illusion of Control Through Rules (30:27)Couples create rules to feel in control, but the real issue is often the lack of prior agreement, not the act itself.Navigating Ruptures and Hurt Feelings (36:50)When hurt occurs, it's crucial to have tools and containers to vent, process, and lean into the conflict.Containing Your "Parts" (39:06)Instead of containing parts of yourself, Mindy suggests getting curious about them and understanding why they emerge. How Mindy Presents in Her Own Dating Life (42:04)Mindy explains she avoids leading with theories and instead focuses on showing up authentically and playfully in relationships. How to Connect with Mindy (44:42)Mindy shares her Instagram handle, website, and information about her therapy practice, coaching, and upcoming workshops.A Final Thought on Relationships (47:38)Mindy encourages listeners to shift from wanting to know everything their partner will do to being excited by the unknown.Follow Mindy:https://www.instagram.com/mindglowmagic/Mindy's Upcoming Live Masterclass:https://www.mindglowmagic.com/Follow The Open Bedroom Podcast:https://www.instagram.com/theopenbedroompodcast/

Plus, she reveals how searching a dating app for a woman to join her and her boyfriend in a threesome somehow led to a career in porn. This episode is filthy, fun, chaotic, and absolutely loaded.Pour a double, clean your AirPods, and enjoy EP 234: "Take The Reigns" with Samantha Reigns.Watch the video version of the show on YouTube YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCIuCkOl_XummXVdu1t3XOuQFollow Samantha Reigns Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/officialsamreigns (@officialsamreigns)Follow the showInstagram: https://instagram.com/sexparty.fm (@sexparty.fm)Twitter: https://twitter.com/sexpartyfm (@sexpartyfm)Follow Dustin Instagram: https://instagram.com/dustin.rybka (@dustin.rybka)Twitter: https://twitter.com/dustinrybka (@dustinrybka)Sex Party with Dustin Rybka

Midlife Sexuality & Open Relationships (Season 6 | Episode 246) with Dr. Rosalyn Dischiavo Embracing Your Act 3: Sexuality, Identity, and the Golden Shadow [AMIR] Welcome back to The Open Nesters Podcast blog! We are your hosts, Tessa and Amir, and today we are taking a dive straight into our archives to revisit one of our most profound, perspective-shifting discussions. In this special episode, we welcome back Dr. Rosalyn Dischiavo—affectionately known as Dr. Roz—founder of the Institute for Sexuality Education and Enlightenment. We sat down with her to unpack the multifaceted transition of “Act 3,” that vibrant, wide-open stage of life that emerges after the kids have left the nest. We are trading empty for open, exploring new adventures, and diving deep into how this phase impacts our sexuality, identity, and personal capacity. Midlife Sexuality & Open Relationships During our chat, Dr. Roz completely reframed the often-stigmatized “midlife crisis.” Rather than a juvenile panic, she aligned with Carl Jung's view that this period is a profound combination of a mortality crisis and an identity crisis. Dr. Roz reminded us that the Chinese word for crisis beautifully combines the symbols for danger and opportunity. Sometimes, our lives require a little bit of ripping apart—or at least some careful dissecting and rearranging—to make room for a genuine biological and spiritual awakening. It is a powerful reminder that our “Act 3” is an opportunity to wake up to our fullest potential. One of the most fascinating concepts we explored is what Jung called the “golden shadow.” Most of us are familiar with hiding our darker, socially unacceptable urges in the shadows. However, Dr. Roz pointed out that we also hide our most enlivening, extraordinary traits—our deep intelligence, our raw sexiness, and our sheer awesomeness. Whether out of genuine humility or a desire for social conformity, we often dim our own light so we do not threaten the status quo. Stepping into our open nester years means finally reclaiming that golden shadow and giving ourselves permission to shine without apology. Exploring Polyamory, Identity & The Open Nest with Dr. Roz As we embrace this new stage, our very identities are often put to the test. Many of us have built our self-concept around being monogamous and faithful parents. But what happens when we decide to open our relationships or explore new erotic themes? Dr. Roz emphasized that identity is inherently fluid, yet challenging our long-held definitions of faithfulness can shake our core values and relationship safety. Whether we view new relationship styles as a capacity, a behavior, or a deep-seated sexual orientation, navigating these waters requires us to openly redefine what loyalty and commitment mean to us and our partners. For those curious about polyamory, swinging, or kink, Dr. Roz offered some incredibly grounding advice: do not just jump in blindly. It is easy to fall into a “kid in a candy store” mentality, but opening a relationship without preparation is a recipe for disaster. We highly recommend starting with books to educate yourselves before attending local meetups or informational munches. And remember, energy, time, and holidays are not infinite! Bringing new people into your life requires intense communication, boundary-setting, and a mutual understanding that you are initially there just to look and learn. We also dove into the fascinating world of core erotic themes, specifically discussing Jack Morin’s four cornerstones of eroticism: longing and anticipation, prohibition, power dynamics, and overcoming ambivalence. Dr. Roz explained how these themes naturally turn up the heat in our relationships. For example, simply experiencing the longing of a partner being on a date with someone else, or the anticipation of trying something taboo like swinging, can reignite passion in existing partnerships. These dynamics push us to look at our desires through fresh lenses, proving that expanding our erotic capacities can make us infinitely more interesting to ourselves and our partners. Of course, you cannot talk about open relationships without addressing the elephant in the room: jealousy. Dr. Roz was adamant that the polyamory community often unfairly shoves jealousy into the shadow, treating it as something uncool to admit. But if left unexamined, jealousy becomes malignant. We must regularly shine a flashlight on it, breathe through it, and use tools like Kathy Labriola's The Jealousy Workbook. True compersion—feeling joy for your partner’s pleasure—is not just a magical feeling of lightness and rainbows; it is an active choice to support your partner even while you are actively processing your own jealous insecurities. Finally, we rounded out our beautiful conversation by discussing the lost art of receiving, the central theme of Dr. Roz’s book, The Deep Yes. As parents and partners, we have spent decades giving from a place of scarcity until we are completely burnt out. Dr. Roz taught us that we must learn to receive fully—whether it is food, sleep, touch, or beauty—until we are so full that our giving simply spills over from a place of natural abundance. We are so grateful for Dr. Roz’s wisdom, and we hope this archive dive inspires you to embrace the fluidity, expansion, and beautiful messiness of your own Act 3! Most conversations about non-monogamy focus on opening a relationship, navigating jealousy, or finding new partners. But what happens after that? How do you navigate a polycule where relationships are constantly evolving? How do you manage different expectations, conflicting needs, shifting priorities, and the very human reality that not everyone connects in the same way?In this episode of Nope! We're Not Monogamous, I'm joined by Red DeRooy and Stacey Smith?, co-authors of Nonmonogamy and Group Dynamics, to explore what it really takes to build healthy relationship communities. We talk about why polycules function more like communities than relationship structures, how many of the skills you already use in friendships can help you navigate non-monogamy, and why curiosity is often more valuable than certainty.Whether you're part of a large polycule, have close metamour relationships, or are simply trying to build stronger connections with the people you love, this conversation is packed with practical insights. In this episode, we discuss:Why romantic groups function differently than one-on-one relationshipsHow to manage different expectations without unnecessary conflictThe difference between fairness and equality in non-monogamyWhy communication starts with knowing what to talk aboutManaging conflict without destabilizing an entire polyculeWhy every relationship is still built one connection at a timeThe importance of one-on-one connection, even within group relationshipsDifferent approaches to metamour relationships and why there isn't one "right" wayBuilding found family and community through non-monogamyNavigating breakups with compassion and preserving meaningful connectionsThe surprising relationship skills you probably already haveOne of my favorite moments from this conversation was the reminder that most of us already know more than we think we do.You've probably navigated friendship groups, family conflict, difficult conversations, changing relationships, and competing needs long before practicing non-monogamy. Those same skills are often the foundation for creating thriving polycules.Connect with Stacey and Red - Grab a copy of Nonmonogamy and Group Dynamics wherever books are sold, including audiobook format.
Community and Polyamory (Season 6 | Episode 245) with Chandra Kantor [TESSA] In this episode, we speak with Chandra Kantor about community, aging, and the way relationships can become more mutual over time. Chandra shares that she is entering her 50th year, teaches yoga, works as a life coach, and is a mother of three boys. She describes her family structure, including co-parenting with her first husband and being in a committed open relationship with her current husband. Redefining Family Dynamics We talk about the shift that happens as children become adults, especially how a parent-child relationship can move toward mutuality. Chandra describes setting clear expectations around responsibility, gratitude, and communication, including family dinners where everyone shares appreciations. Chandra explains that making implicit expectations explicit helped reduce conflict and create a stronger culture of respect. A major part of the conversation focuses on community. Chandra explains that she first experienced deep community through her father's circle in Santa Barbara and later found it in contact improvisation and women's circles. She describes how community grows through inviting people in, showing up during hard times, and asking for help. She says that trust deepens when people can receive support as well as offer it. Open Relationships & Polyamory We also discuss open relationships, polyamory, jealousy, and compersion. Chandra shares that she had no framework for open relating in her first marriage, but later learned about it through dating a polyamorous partner. She explains that she and her current husband moved slowly, used therapy and group support, and repeatedly adjusted their agreements when needed. For her, compersion means feeling joy in a partner's joy, and she connects that to self-trust and self-worth. Finally, Chandra talks about her work leading yoga classes, retreats, and workshops that emphasize vulnerability, self-expression, and appreciation. She says she wants people to bring those practices back into their families and communities. She closes by reflecting on perimenopause as a stage that can bring clearer boundaries, less people-pleasing, and more unapologetic self-expression. Asteria Jade is one of the fastest-rising names in adult entertainment, but she hasn't done many interviews—until now. This week on Sex Party, we dive into her life as a hardcore dominatrix, how that led her into some of the darkest corners of extreme kink, and the horror porn niche that's helping make her one of the industry's most captivating performers. Has she played a vampire? A witch? A zombie? Something even darker? We get into it all. But that's only half the story. Asteria is just as comfortable stepping into the role of the sexy step sister as she is embracing the dark, twisted world that's become her signature. We also talk about the moment that completely changed the way she thinks about anal, where she actually prefers the cumshot (it's probably not where you're thinking), some wild OnlyFans requests, and why so many fans seem drawn into the dark, seductive world she's created. We wrap things up by ranking her three favorite horror movies of all time. Judson returns from a couples therapy session with a new understanding of how keeping certain thoughts and feelings to himself is affecting his husband, which spawns a conversation with Brian about how they care for their long-term relationships and friendships. A Blowers hookup teaches Brian a lesson about pushing himself outside his comfort zone and helps him realize he may have a talent for being verbal in the bedroom. The Hookup of the Week finds our listener meeting someone in a spa while on vacation, and learning how intimate a connection can be when forced to communicate without words. Brian and Judson are then joined by the writer and performer Michael Musto called “Oscar Wilde meets Whoopi Goldberg,” Justin Elizabeth Sayre. Justin tells Brian and Judson about their new solo show they're bringing to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival this summer, Justin Elizabeth Sayre is a 40 Year-Old Woman, how it was inspired by having to learn how to age as a queer person without role models to follow, and about the origins of their beloved Night of a Thousand Judys – an annual benefit for the Ali Forney Center, the nation's largest non-profit providing shelter and healthcare services to LGBTQ youth experiencing homelessness in New York City. Justin also talks about their journey to accepting their queerness, the on-and-off courtship via text and DM of their now wife, being a non-binary person married to a trans woman, and how the last presidential election forced them to expedite their wedding in the United States, before moving out of the country out of concern for their wife's safety. Justin's Daddy Issue sparks a debate about how to present oneself on the apps. The episode ends with the three addressing a Go Ask Your Dad question from a listener seeking advice on getting his partner more comfortable talking about sex and how their open relationship is working for him. This is a controversial topic, but one that I often get email about. So in this episode I first do a presentation about how to approach this important discussion. It talks about what your goals are, when is the right time to have such a conversation, what your partner's reaction might be and how to continue this subject in an open and honest way that helps protect your partner from hurt. Then.....I give you MY opinion, which contradicts some of the info presented in the first half of the show, and gives you some 'food for thought' from my own experiences and what many clients have discussed with me.

What is polyamory, and how is it different from ethical non-monogamy? Can an open relationship actually last, and is dating really any different across the gay, straight, and bisexual communities? In this Pride Month episode, Sabrina sits down with writer, actor, and Tell Me Something Messy host Brandon Kyle Goodman to unpack poly, ethical non-monogamy (ENM), open relationships, jealousy, trust, and what every monogamous person can learn from how non-monogamous people communicate. They dig into how to know if ENM is actually for you, the real difference between non-monogamy and cheating, how to handle jealousy and insecurity, and why no dating book or set of rules will ever beat honest communication. They also run a live dating profile audit packed with tips on attraction, compatibility, and getting comfortable with rejection. Whoever you love and however you connect, you deserve love like the rest of us. Pre-order Sabrina's book coming out October 2026, "Why Am I Like This?" Judson and Brian celebrate the second anniversary of the podcast, the launch of Season Three, and the start of Pride Month! Judson spots two gay people at his new place of work and strategizes to befriend them both. Brian provides two theatre recommendations for Pride Month. Judson struggles with sleep issues. Brian shares an Instagram post sent his way that examines the question “Why are gay men so divided on open relationships?” The Hookup of the Week comes from a listener who gets to prove his versatility when a hot connection made while traveling spices up his vacation more than once during his stay. Brian and Judson then begin their Go Ask Your Dad Extravaganza answering five diverse listener questions. They first tackle one about open relationship rules, particularly around repeat hookups; the second asks each to describe their self-care routines; the third wants to know the etiquette around finding people on social media after meeting them at a sex party; the fourth is from a listener who is having trouble with his fiancé's desire to open the relationship; and the fifth and final question comes from a listener in an open marriage whose Bipolar II disorder makes his libido unpredictable and wants help balancing saving his sexual energy for his husband with allowing himself freedom to have hookups. We break down how we found out that information and what his wife had to say about it. Thor uses Instagram for two things only: pictures and videos.
