Here's what I know with my whole heart: Scaling your business to the NEXT LEVEL isn't about working harder, strategizing more, or adding in another funnel.. Let's be real- if that were REALLY true- you'd be making 100k months by now. I'm dropping in this week with more of an impromptu, soul-led transmission from my meditation cushion (with Charles our trusty familiar nearby) to share with you what I WISH I knew 10 years ago about the energetic and spiritual shifts that have completely changed the way I've scaled my company to over 1.7 million (and counting). I PROMISE YOU: Your next level isn't found in the funnel, but in your frequency. This episode is part activation, part personal story, and part invitation to do business differently. If you've been craving more alignment, ease, and quantum expansion in your business, this one's for you.
Full disclosure, this was recorded before Timberwolves pissed all down their legs in game one. Still, Anthony has watched enough playoff basketball at this point to wonder whether small ball is a sustainable model to the extent some teams want to use it. He then directs his attention to the Lakers to wonder whether they'll be able to use it at all with Luka Doncic. On this episode, Stewart Alsop talks with Suman Kanuganti, founder of Personal.ai and a pioneer in AI for accessibility and human-machine collaboration. Together, they explore how Suman's journey from launching Aira to building Personal.ai reflects a deeper mission of creating technology that enhances memory, communication, and personal empowerment. They touch on entrepreneurship, inclusive design, and the future of AI as a personal extension of human potential. For more information, visit the Personal.ai website or connect with Suman on LinkedIn.Check out this GPT we trained on the conversation!Timestamps00:00 Introduction to Suman Kanuganti and the vision behind Personal.ai, setting the stage with AI for accessibility and personal empowerment.05:00 Discussing the startup journey, the leap from corporate life to entrepreneurship, and the founding of Aira with a focus on inclusive technology.10:00 Deep dive into communication empowerment, how Aira built independence for the blind community, and lessons learned from solving real-world problems.15:00 Transitioning from Aira to Personal.ai, exploring memory extension and the future of personal communication through AI models.20:00 Addressing privacy, ownership of personal data, and why trust is fundamental in the development of personalized AI systems.25:00 Vision of human-machine collaboration, future scenarios where AI supports memory, creativity, and human potential without replacing human agency.30:00 Closing reflections on entrepreneurship, building technology with deep purpose, and how inclusive design drives innovation for everyone.Key InsightsPersonalized AI is the Next Evolution in Human Communication: Suman Kanuganti emphasizes that AI is moving beyond generic tools and into deeply personal territory, where each individual can have an AI modeled after their own thoughts, memories, and style of communication. This evolution is aimed at making technology an extension of the self rather than a replacement.Accessibility Technologies Have Broader Applications: Through his work with Aira, Suman discovered that building tools for accessibility often results in innovations that serve a much wider audience. By designing with people with disabilities in mind, entrepreneurs can create more universally empowering technologies that enhance independence for everyone.Entrepreneurship Requires a Deep Sense of Purpose: Suman's transition from corporate engineering to entrepreneurship was fueled by a personal desire to create meaningful change. He highlights that a strong mission—like empowering individuals through technology—helps sustain entrepreneurs through the inevitable challenges and uncertainties of building startups.Memory Is a Key Frontier for AI Development: One of the core ideas discussed is that memory preservation and recall is an essential human function that AI can augment. Personal.ai aims to assist individuals by organizing and retrieving personal memories and knowledge, offering a future where mental workload is reduced without losing personal agency.Building Trust Is Critical in Personal AI: Suman stresses that for AI to become truly personal and trusted, users must retain ownership and control over their data. Personal.ai is designed with privacy and individual autonomy at its core, reflecting a future where users dictate how their information is stored, accessed, and shared. The Best Innovations Come from Solving Specific, Real Problems: Rather than chasing trends, Suman advocates for entrepreneurs to focus on tangible problems they understand deeply. His success with Aira stemmed from addressing a clear need in the blind community, and that same principle now drives the mission behind Personal.ai—addressing the growing problem of information overload and memory fragmentation.Human-AI Symbiosis Will Define the Future: Suman paints a future where humans and AI work symbiotically, each complementing the other's strengths. Instead of replacing human intelligence, the best AI systems will support cognitive functions like memory, creativity, and communication, ultimately expanding what individuals can achieve personally and professionally.

Today, I'm thrilled to welcome back Jed Emerson, our first-ever repeat guest on the show.Jed is a true impact pioneer and has spent decades thinking about and exploring how to create impact and value that is in alignment with who you are – your values, your goals, and your purpose.Jed's impact journey began in the gritty Tenderloin district of San Francisco, California, where he founded a homeless youth center at the height of the AIDS epidemic. This experience led to his dissatisfaction with the nonprofit sector, where funding was too often hinged on politics, persuasion, and perception rather than on real performance. He wanted to rewrite that script.By a stroke of serendipity, Jed crossed paths with George Roberts – the “R” in the renowned global investment firm Kohlberg Kravis Roberts (KKR). Roberts was searching for a way to do good with his wealth that didn't feel empty or disconnected from his business roots.Together, they launched an experimental private equity fund where he learned firsthand that social progress and financial savvy don't have to sit at opposite ends of the table. They can be integrated into what Jed later called “blended value.”Fast forward to the present, and Jed is now the Chief Impact Officer at AlTi Tiedemann Global, which is a global wealth management firm, guiding next-generation family members who are questioning the purpose of their inherited wealth. But don't be fooled into thinking this is a victory lap story. Jed remains as restless and inquisitive as ever, living by his five-year cycles of asking (and answering) life's biggest questions about capital, community, and our collective future. And if you need any proof that Jed is never short on surprises, his book, ‘The Purpose of Capital' inspired a music video. Yes, you read that right: a music video about impact investing.Jed discusses impact investing's key challenge: ensuring tangible outcomes aren't lost to good intentions and slick marketing. He explains why every investment carries an undeniable social and environmental footprint. If you're ready to rethink the purpose of wealth and capital, join us to hear Jed's mix of pragmatic investing and ethical commitment to improving our world. His story will remind you that success isn't just about returns. "The conversation doesn't end when you hang up the phone. That's when it begins." – Jeff Pulver At the recent TMC event, Technology Reseller News publisher Doug Green sat down with Jeff Pulver, a pioneering voice in the VoIP industry and now the driving force behind vCon. Their conversation, much like the technology it centered on, was a glimpse into the future of communication—one that redefines how we capture, analyze, and leverage conversations. 30 Years of VoIP: From VocalTech to vCon For Pulver, February 13th, 2025, marked a milestone—30 years since VocalTech introduced the first consumer VoIP application, a moment that proved voice could travel over the internet, not just phone lines. While voice-over-IP technology has been in development since 1969, Pulver sees 1995 as the true launch of the VoIP industry. Since then, the landscape has evolved in ways few could have predicted. Now, Pulver is championing vCon, an IETF standard that could revolutionize digital communication. "If you're familiar with SIP (Session Initiation Protocol), then you'll appreciate that the same people behind SIP are bringing you vCon," he said. vCon is more than just a file format—it's a way to store, analyze, and extract value from conversations across voice, email, and text. A Game Changer for Businesses of All Sizes Until recently, only large enterprises could afford advanced AI-driven conversation analysis, using sentiment and metadata to gain insights. But vCon democratizes this capability, allowing small and medium-sized businesses—or even individuals—to capture and analyze conversations effortlessly. Pulver envisions a world where conversations are no longer lost but instead serve as valuable data points. "We've been letting metadata fall on the cutting room floor. Now, we can take conversations, apply AI, and gain insights without millions in R&D costs," he explained. The First-Ever vCon Interop Event To further the adoption of this groundbreaking standard, Pulver announced the first-ever vCon Interop event, set for April 22-24, 2025, in Cape Cod. The event will feature a workshop, hands-on application development, and an industry showcase where companies can test interoperability. Additionally, he is spearheading Vinevolution, an event in Bentonville, Arkansas, on April 9, focusing on the intersection of AI, telecom, and supply chain, as well as AI Com in New York City on April 4. The Future of Conversations Pulver, who coined the term Voice on the Net (VON) in 1995, sees vCon as a natural progression of his work. "We're living in a world where AI is pervasive, and communication is evolving again," he said. "This is more than just telecom—it's about transforming how we do business." With vCon, conversations become assets, not just fleeting moments. For those who want to be part of this next wave of innovation, the opportunity starts now. As Pulver put it, "If you're an early adopter, come join us." For more details, visit pulver.com or join the vCon Foundation at pulver.com/join. (This podcast summary was done by vCon)

This week on The Geek in Review, we sit down with Mark Doble, Co-Founder and CEO of Alexi, to discuss the state of AI-driven tools in the legal industry and how they are evolving to meet the needs of modern litigation practices. The conversation begins with a timely debate on measuring productivity in remote work settings. Doble, coming from a background in both law and software engineering, draws intriguing parallels between how legal services and software development measure output and efficiency. Moving on to Alexi's core offering, Doble delves into how the platform is currently being used by litigators. He explains that Alexi's AI technology not only handles the tedious work of research and memo drafting but also provides opportunities for lawyers to explore creative, strategic approaches to cases. By automating routine tasks, Alexi empowers attorneys to focus on high-level legal reasoning and client goals, rather than sifting through mountains of documents. A key aspect of the discussion centers on the ways in which AI tools, like Alexi, can transform junior associate work. Instead of solely performing rote research or document review, younger lawyers can now leverage these tools as teaching aids, accelerating their path to deeper legal understanding. Doble emphasizes that as automation becomes more sophisticated, the human lawyer's role in guiding strategy and exercising judgment grows ever more critical. Doble then addresses concerns around data security and confidentiality. He reiterates that while the underlying technology is evolving, core principles of security remain the same—encrypting data, controlling access, and ensuring that information is never inadvertently trained into the model's outputs. He acknowledges emerging questions around work product and privilege but sees them as part of the natural adaptation cycle in adopting new technology. Finally, looking ahead, Doble hints at a significant upcoming announcement from Alexi early next year. He suggests that this new release will push beyond current capabilities, bridging the gap between mere information retrieval and genuine “legal reasoning” support. While keeping details under wraps, Doble leaves listeners with a vision of AI as a true partner in litigation, promising exponential improvements that will redefine how attorneys practice law. Welcome to the 5th episode of EigenLayer Unlocked! Today's pod, live from Singapore, dives into the evolving world of onchain incentives and how projects like Lagrange are setting the stage for more interactive, long-lasting, personalized crypto experiences. We got to hear from Ismael, Gajesh Naik, and Luca Netz on this special episode. Lagrange's ZK coprocessor is redefining how data flows between apps, enabling active reward distribution that goes beyond traditional airdrops. This isn't just about rewards; it's about keeping users engaged, offering continuous incentives, and building features that crypto enthusiasts have long been waiting for (which we are all used to in Web2). We discussed Lagrange's collaborations with projects like Azuki, leveraging the coprocessor to deliver more dynamic, real-time incentives that mirror the engagement models from Web2. The ability to integrate onchain applications with these tools opens doors for everything from cashback rewards to personalized offers, bridging the gap between crypto and everyday consumer habits. In the chat, the team explained how they're tapping into deeper layers of user behavior, creating integrations that align with each community's needs. We really enjoyed this insight into the next era of crypto apps. Enjoy! Website: https://therollup.co/ Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/show/1P6ZeYd.. Welcome to Superhumanize, where we explore the frontiers of human potential and the complex tapestry of consciousness. Today, we have an extraordinary guest—one of the most controversial and transformative thinkers of our time, Dr. Marc Gafni. Marc is not just a philosopher; he's a revolutionary mind, a master teacher, and a provocateur who challenges us to rethink the very fabric of our reality.Marc Gafni is known for his groundbreaking 'source code teachings' that delve into the profound depths of spirituality, ethics, and human connection. His theories, such as the Unique Self, CosmoErotic Humanism, and the transition from Homo sapiens to Homo Amor, are not just philosophical musings; they are calls to action for a global reawakening—a radical shift in how we view ourselves and our collective story. In this episode, we talk about Marc's latest work, 'First Principles & First Values,' where he collaborates with other visionary thinkers like Ken Wilber and Zak Stein to chart a path through the meta-crisis facing our civilization. This book is a manifesto for the future of humanity, where love, value, and the essence of what it means to be human are redefined in the most fundamental ways. We'll explore some of the most pressing questions of our time: How do we confront the root cause of evil, what does it mean to reclaim our collective narrative as a love story? And how do we ensure that emerging technologies serve to enhance, rather than undermine, our journey toward becoming Homo Amor?Marc's insights are intellectually stimulating and they challenge us to integrate spiritual enlightenment, ethical living, and the art of meaningful relationships into our everyday lives. This is a conversation that promises to push boundaries and invites you into a new way of seeing the world.Episode highlights:01:09 Exploring First Principles and First Values03:08 The Think Tank and Metacrisis05:08 The Shocks of Existence06:23 Existential Risks and AI09:13 The Death of Our Humanity10:41 The Techplex and Skinner's Box22:48 Creating a New Story of Value47:29 Exploring Eros and Intimacy48:03 The Principle of Continuity and Discontinuity49:44 A Story of Timeless Love51:57 The Evolution of Intimacy and Freedom54:29 The Debate on Free Will57:48 The Impact of Technology on Freedom01:02:09 Understanding Intrinsic Value01:04:34 The Field of Value and Shared Stories01:19:47 The Democratization of Heroism01:21:01 Concluding Thoughts and ReflectionsResources mentioned:Marc's websiteFirst Principles & First Values by Mark GafniGuest's social handles:FacebookInstagramSubstackMediumYouTubeP.S.
