A stuffed content library can still leave a salesperson empty-handed.  Somewhere along the way, sales enablement got mistaken for asset production. Sales asks, marketing makes, the asset goes somewhere, and the next thing you know, a seller is five minutes from a call wondering which deck, battle card, proof point, or customer story actually helps. If the seller has to stop selling to find the enablement, the enablement has not enabled.  In this Drew-on-Drew solo episode, Drew plays both host and guest to take on the request-fulfillment loop. Drawing on conversations in the CMO Huddles community, he helps marketing leaders rethink sales enablement around one better question: Did it make sales more effective?  The mandate is clear. Pick one selling outcome, build trusted answers where sellers work, and measure whether buyers move, deals advance, and sales wins faster, more often, or bigger.  What You'll Learn:  How AI can turn approved content into timely answers without creating more content chaos  Why adoption depends on workflow, peer stories, and help at the moment of need  How recorded sales calls can strengthen messaging, coaching, content, and product decisions  Listen in for Drew's take on what sales enablement needs to become and how CMOs can replace the content maze with a system that helps sellers show up smarter and move buyers forward. After surviving a terrorist nightmare, Justice Department lawyer Blake Hudson takes on a new enemy: the Chicago mafia. Assigned to the Organized Crime Strike Force, he dives into a world that's nothing like the movies. The Chicago Outfit may still live in Al Capone's shadow, but its power has evolved—slicker, smarter, and more dangerous than ever. At its center is Enzo Renzi—a polished consigliere with an Ivy League mind and a conscience buried beneath layers of loyalty. To Blake, he's the key to bringing the Outfit down. To others, he's a marked man. Ruthless killers close in, and neither Enzo nor Blake knows who's behind the crosshairs. When a secret meeting between rival gangs threatens to ignite a citywide war, Blake races to stop it—only to uncover something far darker than mob violence: a hidden network whose reach extends deep into America's institutions. Chad Boudreaux is a Washington insider hired by the U.S. Department of Justice the night before the September 11, 2001 attacks—launching him immediately into counterterrorism work that earned him high accolades at an early age. Garfield has spent I don't want to think about how long being terrified for our entertainment, and somehow this is only the second time we've noticed. Today we're looking at two occasions Jim Davis's laziest creation got shoved into a horror plot he absolutely did not sign up for: Garfield's Nightmare on the Nintendo DS and Garfield's Scary Scavenger Hunt, the Flash game that lived on Garfield.com back when “Flash game that lived on a dot-com” was still a sentence people said out loud. Helping us make sense of not one but two instances of “cat, but afraid” is Dee Parson from Supr Dee, the syndicated cartoonist behind Rosebuds. A guy who, by his own account, actually learned to read on Garfield comics, which means this episode is less “guest booking” and more “the student returns to grade the source material's video game output.” So lock the pantry, keep an eye on the Scare-O-Meter, and let's find out if either of these games earned the right to scare a cat who once ate an entire sandwich made of other sandwiches. Learn such things as: What horrible real world things can Garfield save us from? Is there anything scarier than having to face your own existence and mortality? Can lasagna solve all of the world's problems? And so much more! You can find the guest on Instagram @Suprdee2 and his website Supr Dee. Stewart Alsop hosts a conversation with Oliver Polzin, a founding team member of Meow Wolf and naturalist, exploring the intersection of creativity, conservation, and architecture. Oliver discusses his current postgraduate work at SCI-Arc in Los Angeles studying synthetic landscapes through an architectural lens, his deep fascination with Pleistocene megafauna and the La Brea Tar Pits, and his vision for creating a "biophilic culture" that reframes humanity's relationship with other species and ecosystems. The discussion ranges from Oliver's early work building mud caves at Meow Wolf to his current explorations of AI-assisted design tools, 3D printing with recycled materials, holistic grazing management systems for the Great Plains, and the ancient Amazonian practice of creating terra preta soil—all part of his broader investigation into how we can design interventions for climate and conservation issues while maintaining what makes us fundamentally human.Timestamps00:00 Stewart introduces Oliver Polzin from Meow Wolf's founding team and discusses how his yoga teaching there inspired the podcast's exploration of creativity and stress relationships.05:00 Oliver describes his architecture graduate program studying climate and conservation through synthetic landscapes, contrasting dark green naturalist ecology with bright green capitalist environmentalism.10:00 Discussion of conservation ethics and AI's potential for monitoring environmental systems, with Oliver explaining his journey from painting to experimental mud construction at early Meow Wolf.15:00 Stewart shares his robotics learning journey with ESP32s in Buenos Aires while Oliver questions humanoid robot design, suggesting functional form factors matter more than human resemblance.20:00 Oliver explores cardboard as material obsession and explains treasure hunt mechanics in Meow Wolf exhibits, creating dopamine-driven discovery experiences through layered storytelling.25:00 Stewart describes creating treasure hunts for Spanish learners in Buenos Aires parks while Oliver validates experiential art's growing importance in an increasingly digital culture.30:00 Conversation shifts to three-d printing flexible filaments for architectural models and Oliver's megafauna book project about La Brea Tar Pits Pleistocene fossils.35:00 Oliver connects Earth consciousness to Pale Blue Dot perspective, arguing humans face developmental threshold understanding planetary responsibility after 300,000 years as anatomically modern species.40:00 Deep dive into end-Pleistocene extinction events and megafauna loss, discussing two-ton capybaras and how predator relationships shaped human psychology and anxiety responses.45:00 Oliver presents speculative Great Plains biopreserve concept with de-extinct megafauna, contrasting holistic rotational grazing with destructive monoculture agriculture systems.50:00 Discussion concludes with Amazonian dark earth technology and indigenous landscape management, emphasizing need for biophilic culture embracing deep time ecological perspective.Key Insights1. Oliver Polzin is part of the founding team of Meow Wolf and is currently studying at SCI-Arc in Downtown LA in a postgraduate program called Synthetic Landscapes, which examines global scale climate and conservation issues through an architectural lens. Architecture exists between art and science, and he believes architectural thinking offers a valuable framework for designing interventions for climate and conservation challenges. This program represents a significant evolution from his earlier work at Meow Wolf, where he created immersive experiential art installations using materials like adobe and cardboard.2. There is an important distinction in ecological thought between what Paul Kingsnorth calls dark green and light green approaches to environmentalism. The dark green strain represents the older naturalist movement from the early twentieth century, focusing on biological systems, ecosystems, and endangered species. Light green emerged in the 1970s after the Earth Day movement and centers on clean energy, solar panels, and wind power as a way to maintain our current lifestyle. Oliver argues that the bright green approach represents a capitalist overlay that has captured the conservation movement, whereas true conservation requires focusing on actual biological systems rather than just technological solutions.3. The experiential art form that Meow Wolf pioneered still has enormous untapped potential, particularly as society becomes increasingly digital. Oliver believes there will be a huge wave of experiential desire in this decade as people crave human connection and real-world excitement. The treasure hunt and scavenger hunt format represents a compelling form of real-life RPG that creates meaningful human interactions. This type of experience design, which Meow Wolf developed through installations like the House of Eternal Return, plays with human dopamine systems by compelling people to open doors, explore spaces, and follow narrative threads through physical environments.4. The architectural model or dollhouse concept represents a crucial rhetorical tool that Oliver is learning to apply to climate and conservation work. Architects have long created physical models to show stakeholders what a building will be like, and this practice of showing a story in compelling ways for different types of brains is essential for getting traction on projects. While architectural models used to be made from foam core, paper, and balsa wood, they are now largely created through 3D printing, which allows for incredibly complex forms and interlocking structures that would have been impossible to construct manually.5. Oliver is obsessed with megafauna and the end Pleistocene extinction event that occurred roughly twelve thousand years ago. For three hundred thousand years, anatomically modern humans existed alongside massive beasts like short faced bears and American lions, and we were the smaller creatures in the ecosystem. The extinction of over one hundred genera of animals over ninety nine pounds, combined with sea level rise of nearly four hundred feet, fundamentally changed human existence and led to the development of agriculture and civilization. Much of our current psychological development, including anxiety responses, is still based on this time period when we lived among these massive animals.6. The current food system in the Great Plains is fundamentally broken compared to the historical managed food system maintained by Plains tribes, who sustained thirty to sixty million bison through 1800. Oliver explored a speculative project about turning the Great Plains into a massive biopreserve of de-extinct megafauna, contrasting the natural system of rotational grazing where predators keep herds moving with the current monoculture crop agriculture that requires external inputs like fertilizer, pesticides, and herbicides. The natural system builds soil and increases fecundity, while industrial agriculture degrades soil, creates toxic runoff, and produces genetically modified crops that feed animals in toxic concentrated feeding operations.7. The fundamental challenge facing humanity now is creating what Oliver calls a biophilic or ecophilic culture that is loving of other species and our home planet. This requires both psychological shifts and changes in how we design systems at all scales. The Amazon provides a powerful example of this, as recent LiDAR mapping has revealed that what appeared to be pristine wilderness was actually a vast tended garden created by indigenous civilizations who developed technologies like Amazonian dark earth through burning middens with various additives. These cultures understood how to be embedded in a web with other species while playing an important orchestrating role, offering a model for how humans might relate to other forms of life in our current era.

Welcome back to another completely normal episode of The Rizzuto Show — aka your favorite daily podcast where things spiral immediately and never recover. This one kicks off with what should have been a simple conversation about weather and PointFest… but quickly devolves into Rafe pitching a full-on deviled egg scavenger hunt across an amphitheater. Not plastic eggs. Not prizes. Actual deviled eggs. In public. In Missouri heat. You already know this is going nowhere good — and yet somehow we all kind of want to see it happen.Meanwhile, Moon shares the feel-good story of Punk Rock Disney — which immediately turns into a logistical nightmare involving circle pits, kids, and what we're now calling “lost parents.” Nothing says family fun like mild panic and crowd confusion. But the real main event? Prom night.Rizz takes on solo dad duty and is tasked with ONE job: get good prom photos. Sounds easy. It is not. What follows is a full breakdown of Forest Park at peak prom hour — traffic gridlock, thousands of teenagers, professional photo setups, and one man trying desperately not to become “that dad”… before immediately becoming that dad. Directing photos. Fixing ties. Taking over. You know, subtle stuff. And because the chaos wasn't finished, the night continues with the looming threat of becoming the “cool party house” — which Rizz shuts down immediately because liability is real and teenagers are… well, teenagers.Elsewhere in this daily podcast, the crew debates:• Why nobody should ever give out their email at checkout• The birth of the most ridiculous shared email address in STL history• Baseball etiquette (and why that one grandpa needs to relax)• Whether wearing the wrong team's jersey to a game is a crime• Restaurant experiences that range from classy to “why is Bob Seger playing right now?”It's relatable chaos, unnecessary arguments, and just enough heart to remind you why this daily podcast somehow works.Follow The Rizzuto Show → linktr.ee/rizzshow for more from your favorite daily comedy show.Connect with The Rizzuto Show Comedy Podcast online → 1057thepoint.com/RizzShow.Hear The Rizz Show daily on the radio at 105.7 The Point | Hubbard Radio in St. Louis, MO.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

In Episode 660 of the Geekin' on Walt Disney World Podcast, we're back with Part 2 of our Geek meetup weekend — and this is where the trip really comes to life. If Part 1 was about getting everyone together… Part 2 is about what happens when this community is fully in motion. From a full-scale Epcot scavenger hunt… to late-night adventures… to unforgettable emotional moments — this episode captures what makes these Geek meetups so special. The Scavenger Hunt That Took Over Epcot Saturday was the big day. Dan put together an incredibly detailed custom scavenger hunt that had teams of Geeks running all around Epcot solving clues, completing challenges, and hunting down… ducks. Yes — ducks. Teams used a web-based app with geolocation Clues ranged from easy finds to deep Disney details Bonus points came from hidden “duck nests” And a live leaderboard kept the competition intense What made it even cooler? Dan's son Matt was running “command center” from home, verifying answers in real time and tracking scores. It wasn't just a game — it was an experience, and one that brought everyone together in a really unique way. Great Food, Drinks, and Disney Detours As always… no Geek meetup is complete without some incredible food stops along the way: 50's Prime Time Café – classic comfort food and hilarious server interactions Baseline Tap House – a perfect hangout spot for Geeks to regroup GEO-82 – charcuterie, bourbon flights, and elevated lounge vibes Three Bridges at Coronado – continuing the unofficial “burger challenge” And for some of the group… A truly unique experience at the Epilogue Speakeasy inside the Four Seasons, featuring: Hidden entrance and immersive storytelling Florida-inspired craft cocktails A full-on “experience” — not just drinks Meanwhile, others enjoyed a private Epcot fireworks cruise, proving once again that there's no “one way” to do Disney. The Moments That Matter Most And this is where the episode really hits home. Because beyond the rides, food, and planning… This trip was about people. Curtis shares a powerful moment reflecting on: The friendships built over 12+ years of the podcast Meeting listeners who have become real-life friends And even witnessing a meaningful, almost “meant-to-be” reunion between community members There were also quieter, personal moments: Holding a baby and thinking about becoming a grandfather Seeing how welcoming and supportive this community is to new members Watching complete strangers become fast friends over a shared Disney love These are the moments that don't show up on a park map… but define the trip. One Last Disney Day Before heading home, the group squeezed in one more day: Animal Kingdom adventures First-time experiences like Festival of the Lion King Snacks at Nomad Lounge and Satuli Canteen Final meals at Homecomin' and Brown Derby And just like that… Another incredible Geek weekend came to a close. Final Thoughts This episode is a perfect reminder that: Disney trips aren't just about rides… They're about connection, community, and shared experiences. What started as a podcast has grown into something much bigger: A group of people who show up for each other A place where friendships are formed And a community that continues to grow, one trip at a time Ready to Plan Your Own Disney Adventure? What happens when you hand teams a stack of clues, the Transit App, a free bus pass, and then issue one non-negotiable rule—no rideshare? Urban Quest turns Austin into a living classroom where kids and adults learn to navigate Cap Metro, discover hidden gems, and build confidence through exploration. We tag along with two teams racing between the Texas Capitol, the UT campus, and Amy's Ice Cream, racking up points with museum puzzles, hula hooping, and mural photo hunts, all while showing how transit skills translate into real-world independence.Tammy Miller, executive director of ATX KIDS CLUB, shares how the nonprofit teaches children as young as four to ride public transit safely. Along the way, parents describe the pride that comes from their kids recognizing bus lines, reading a city map, and moving through public spaces with ease. This story is bigger than a scavenger hunt. Urban Quest raises funds that open camp access for kids across all income levels, ensuring more kids learn vital mobility skills. You can check out more about ATX KIDS CLUB and Urban Quest here:  https://www.atxkidsclub.org/Enjoyed the ride? Before Walt Disney bought a single acre of swampland in Florida, he spent years on a secret "scavenger hunt" across America. We often hear that Disney World was a "Plan B" after Disneyland, but the truth is much more calculated. From a luxury bowling alley in Denver to a 5-story indoor theme park in St. Louis and a controversial ski resort in the Sierras, Walt was secretly testing the pieces he needed for his "Florida Project." In today's episode of Synergy Loves Company, we're connecting the dots between Walt's biggest "failures" and the ultimate success of Walt Disney World. We explore: - How a Denver bowling alley became the training ground for Disney's world-class service. - The real reason the St. Louis "Riverfront Square" project was cancelled (it wasn't just about the beer!). - Why a mountain ski resort in the Sierras taught Walt the most expensive lesson of his life. - How the 1964 New York World's Fair acted as a multi-million dollar R&D lab funded by corporate sponsors. Every stop on this scavenger hunt provided a piece of the puzzle: Operations, Control, Land, Technology, and Market Proof. By the time Walt looked at Florida, he didn't just have a dream—he had a proven blueprint for perfection. Join the Conversation: Which of these "failed" projects do you think had the most fascinating ripple effect on the Disney parks we know today? From the sly Imagineer tributes on Main Street to the handcrafted mosaics in Morocco, from the koi ponds tucked behind Japan's pagoda to the choral power of Voices of Liberty, we show how attention turns crowded parks into living stories. Then we're joined by Kevin and Amanda, the creators of Where in the Park, a seek-and-find game that turns wandering into wonder.
