On this special episode of Talking Buffalo, Patrick Moran sits down with University at Buffalo star linebacker Shaun Dolac for a candid conversation about his life and football career through this point live at Imperial Pizza in South Buffalo. Shaun leads the entire nation in both total and solo tackles and was named a semifinalist for the Butkus Award, given to the nation's best college linebacker. However, the road to the stardom and a potential future in the NFL was anything but smooth sailing for Dolac. He completely dominated the high school scene at West Seneca East, racking up 2018 Buffalo News Player of the Year, but college football success didn't come easy. Shaun went to prep school for a year to remain in football rather than go to the University of Albany for lacrosse. He was a walk on to the UB football football program and eventually earned a scholarship before his sophomore year. He became a breakout start his junior year in 2022 before suffering a season-ending ankle injury four games into his would-be senior season. He then made the difficult decision to transfer to Utah State for his redshirt senior year before changing his mind following this spring and coming back to UB, where he not only picked up where he left off but has elevated his game even more. Shaun talks about growing up in a big football family, the influence his late father had on him, his time at West Seneca and his journey through this point with college ball. He also talks about his short and long term goals, a bunch of fun facts and tons more. Remember the name Shaun Dolac, football fans! On this special edition of Talking Buffalo, it's the final in a weeklong series of Buffalo Bills season previews as Patrick Moran is joined by both Jay Skurski of The Buffalo News and Nate Geary from WGR550 to discuss the Bills as well as the rest of the NFL in a conversation recorded live at Imperial Pizza in South Buffalo. Safety, wide receiver, offensive line depth and kicker have been perceived as the Bills biggest question marks going into the season and each are discussed here. Do Jay and Nate truly believe in the mantra "everybody eats" and it being a successful formula or do they think there's truly a problem looming with the passing game? Damar Hamlin is a good story but will he be a good starting safety on this team this season? You can't expect the offensive line to go injury free like it did in 2023, do they trust any of the backups? Will one big missed kick early send Tyler Bass into a tailspin? Obviously it's far from doom and gloom with the Bills in spite of some shortcomings. The guys talk about areas and players of this team they're highest on, including the Bills newest captain at middle linebacker Terrel Bernard. It may take Josh Allen to have a MVP season for the Bills to legitimately compete for a championship but fortunately for him he's completely got that in him. The guys then offer a series of Bills predictions and takes in addition to some thoughts about the AFC east, other teams and players around the league and much more. It's the final Bills scheduled Bills preview show before the real thing! Big shout-out and thank you once again to Imperial Pizza for being a gracious host and for their excellent wings. Speaking of the Bills there's plenty of football talk as well with Joe, who's admittedly a lifelong Detroit Lions fan. The Bills look to be off to a strong start at training camp and are still considered among the league's better teams, but the guys discuss a huge aura of uncertainty surrounding them going into the regular season. On this episode of Talking Buffalo, Patrick Moran is recording/streaming live from Imperial Pizza in South Buffalo and is joined by Buffalo Sabres beat reporter Matthew Fairburn of The Athletic as well as Kris Baker of Sabres Prospect, who together form the Baker Fairburn Hockey Show for a conversation primarily focused on the Sabres in wake of the organization firing head coach Don Granato this past week. Its always nice to get together with Matthew for a chat and the timing couldn't be better on this one. The Sabres fired Granato the morning after the regular season finale, a surprise to many as it felt Terry Pegula would retain him going into next season seeing Granato had an extension. Matthew has several thoughts on the firing and why he believes it has to happen. Matthew was also at the arena this week for players locker room cleanout day and media availability and shares some of what he heard in addition to some thoughts on who can be the next head coach to take over. Could it be Lindy Ruff? On this episode of Talking Buffalo, Patrick Moran is recording live from Imperial Pizza in South Buffalo and is joined by Buffalo Bills beat reporter Jay Skurski of The Buffalo News for a conversation primarily focused on the Buffalo Bills, aftermath of the Stefon Diggs and insight into what Buffalo may do in the upcoming NFL draft. It has certainly been an eventful offseason for the Buffalo Bills with some of it expected and some not so much. Jay has several thoughts on the totality of what the Bills have done so far in terms of getting rid of plenty veterans (a few more surprising than others) and the guys they've added so far. He also has plenty of thoughts on the Diggs trade from all sides, including the perceived relationship Diggs had with both coach and quarterback and Jay's thoughts about how he'll ultimately be remembered for his time in Buffalo. Jay also goes over a handful of wide receivers and some other positional players he likes for Buffalo in this draft. Should it be considered a foregone conclusion the Bills take a wide receiver with their first pick? What and who is realistically in play with it? They also spend some time talking about the hugely disappointing Buffalo Sabres season that extended their own NHL record playoff drought. Jay, a fan who attends some home games shares his thoughts on the state of the team and if Terry Pegula should fire Don Granato after the season ends next week. That plus some talk about wings, golf and much more. As always, a huge thanks to Imperial Pizza for their great hospitality and killer wings. On this episode of Talking Buffalo, Patrick Moran is live from Imperial Pizza in South Buffalo and is joined by former Buffalo Bills cornerback Marlon Kerner for a conversation centered around the Buffalo Bills, the stunning trade of Stefon Diggs and Marlon's takes on the state of the Bills cornerbacks. A third-round draft pick of the Bills back in 1995, Kerner knows a thing or two about the cornerback position. He's got thoughts on the current boundary corners for the Bills---Rasul Douglas, Christian Benford and Kaiir Elam as well of one of the best nickels in the league, Taron Johnson. He also reflects on Tre White's time in Buffalo and the pain of having to release him this offseason. Also, shockwaves went through Buffalo and around the league a few days ago when Stefon Diggs was traded along with two late draft picks to Houston for a 2025 second-round. Marlon reveals if he was surprised by the move and how things go to the point the Bills were willing to dead over $30 million in dead cap money to ship Diggs out. They also spend some time talking about the current Bills roster, a lot of the veteran leaders that are now gone and who should be stepping up as well as Marlon's old high school recruiting and NFL draft prep experiences and much more. As always, a huge thanks to Imperial Pizza for their great hospitality and killer wings. It should also be noted that the second Imperial location at 1665 Main Street is fully open for business. ♦♦♦♦♦ Follow Patrick Moran/Talking Buffalo Podcast Substack: Patrick Moran's Substack Twitter: @PatMoranTweets. On this episode of Talking Buffalo, Patrick Moran is live from Imperial Pizza in South Buffalo for the first time in 2204 and is joined by Chris Trapasso from CBS Sports for a conversation centered around the Buffalo Bills, the NFL and the upcoming draft next month. The last time Patrick and Chris got together for a remote show taping was at a Cheektowaga pizzeria in October 2021 and within five minutes it ended abruptly after Patrick accidently spilled a beverage directly on the audio recorder. Incredibly mishap history repeated itself this time too, as Patrick's faulty laptop cable sent him back home to retrieve another one and postpone this live streamed episode by nearly a hour. All's well that end's well and the guys have a discussion about Imperial and their wings before getting into Chris becoming a regular fill-in host on One Bills Live, including him taking us behind scenes of what goes in with the show. From there they get into the Bills offseason to this point and Chris provides insight into what he's liked, and hasn't about the moves Buffalo has made as the draft gets near, surprising some by actually praising the release of Mitch Morse before free agency. From there they had to draft talk and Patrick r takes advantage of Chris's thorough knowledge of this year's draft prospects and asks him about several of them at a handful of positions the Bills are expected to address, especially wide receiver where we learn more about several prospects. That and plenty more football and other fun topics today. Make sure to follow Chris on Twitter @ChrisTrapasso. As always, a huge thanks to Imperial Pizza for their great hospitality and killer wings. On this episode of Talking Buffalo recorded live from Imperial Pizza in South Buffalo, Patrick Moran is joined by longtime friend and recurring guest Tone Pucks to drop a full smorgasbord of Buffalo Bills, Buffalo Sabres and other topical "hot takes" as we wind down 2023. The Bills are trending in the right direction at the most critical time of the season and the Sabres are unmistakably headed in the opposite direction. Tone has plenty to say about both, from Sean McDermott having a professional and maybe personal turnaround to Ed Oliver taking the reigns on defense and debate over whether Von Miller should even be playing. On the hockey side it's about disappointment with the team and in particular some of the guys that were given big contracts pretty early on. Patrick's nearly out on the Sabres while Tone's willing to see how they do during an extremely winnable long January stretch. They also spend some time discussing Christmas they spent with their families and plenty more. As always, a huge thanks to Imperial Pizza for their great hospitality and killer wings. The Sabres have been treading water as they near the quarter mark of the 2023-24 regular season, not getting buried in the standings but not climbing them either. Chad has thoughts on their expectations and process in addition to Tage Thompson's injury, if Zach Benson will spend season in Buffalo, less than desirable starts from some good players and the Victor Olofsson conundrum. Even though Chad's a "hockey" guy he's plenty locked into the Bills as well, and the guys talk about the shocking developments that have Buffalo going from Super Bowl favorite to a team that's strongly flirting with not even making the playoffs. What's wrong with Josh Allen this year, was firing Ken Dorsey the right move and is Sean McDermott making himself accountable enough? Could his job actually be in jeopardy? It's a special “Finer Wings Club” edition of Talking Buffalo Podcast as Patrick Moran is joined by Buffalo Bills beat reporter Matt Parrino and Spectrum Sports anchor Jon Scott for a conversation over wings (and pizza) taped at Imperial Pizza in South Buffalo. The guys try (Jon and Matt for the first time) honey mustard barbeque, loganberry barbeque and chiavetta's medium wings and are blown away. They talk about what they liked best about them and the vibe of Imperial before diving into a general discussion about wings and food in general in the Western New York area. Fear not, Bills Mafia as there's plenty of Bills talk, including some extremely candid takes focused on Sean McDermott and Tyler Bass as well as opining on if players prefer media protocols because of Covid or if they'd prefer things back like they were before. They also talk Gronk/Tre, the Bengals skipping the “process” and deciding it's time for the Bills to go all-in this coming season even it comes at the expense of high draft capital. They finish with a fun conversation about Cobra Kai, with plenty of notice for listeners who don't want any series details spoiled. Special thanks to Imperial Pizza (1035 Abbott Road) for hosting the podcast. The food, service, vibe and everything about one of South Buffalo's best-known places was outstanding. ♦♦♦♦♦ Follow Patrick Moran/Talking Buffalo Podcast Twitter: @PatMoranTweets. Good morning, good afternoon and good evening wherever you are in the world, welcome to EV News Daily for Thursday 30th December. It's Martyn Lee here and I go through every EV story so you don't have to. Thank you to MYEV.com for helping make this show, they've built the first marketplace specifically for Electric Vehicles. It's a totally free marketplace that simplifies the buying and selling process, and help you learn about EVs along the way too. NORTHVOLT BATTERY PLANT SPARKS INTO LIFE, A FIRST FOR EUROPE - Sweden's Northvolt said on Wednesday its new gigafactory in northern Sweden has assembled its first battery cell, making it the first European company to design and manufacture a battery on the continent. - The cell is of a prismatic cell format - a variety of thinner and lighter battery - and came off the assembly line on Tuesday. - Northvolt CEO Peter Carlsson had told Reuters that the new factory would produce a battery this year "even if it means the first battery is made on New Year's Eve". - The company is aiming for the Skelleftea plant to achieve production capacity of 60 gigawatt hours (GWh) as it aims for at least a 20-25% market share in Europe by 2030. Original Source : https://www.reuters.com/technology/northvolt-produces-first-battery-cell-sweden-gigafactory-2021-12-29/ - Tesla is due to launch its first factory in Europe shortly and Asian rivals have significant operations in Poland and Hungary - but no European firm had yet operated a significant facility until now. - The new factory, dubbed "Northvolt Ett" (Northvolt One) in Swedish, already employs 500 people and will likely have as many as 3,000 staff once it reaches full capacity. - The Swedish company, which has already raised funding of several billion euros, was founded in 2016 by Carlsson and Italian Paolo Cerruti, both former Tesla employees. - Its location, some 200 km from the Arctic Circle, was chosen because it is near important sites of renewable production in northern Sweden, including hydropower. The number of gross reservations (since the ID.4 introduction in March 2021) has increased to more than 40,000 (as of mid-December), out of which over 15,000 cars were sold. - Assuming that there were not many resignations, there are still some 25,000 ID.4 buyers waiting for Volkswagen to ramp up production and sales, which is not easy considering production constraints and high demand also in Europe. - The good news is that in 2022, the company intends to launch localized production of the ID.4 in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Battery cells for the cars will be supplied by SK Innovation's SK On from the new battery plant in Commerce, Georgia. An automaker's Prime Directive is to produce vehicles that open their doors and drive off on the first attempt, just as a telephone that struggles with audio calls is flawed, no matter how marvelous its other capacities. But five years from now, nobody will remember the glitchy door handles I experienced in early-production vehicles. THE TESLA MODEL 3 - The Tesla Model 3 has only been in Europe for a couple of years now, but it has been an instant hit. In 2021, it is expected to be the best-selling EV there, topping competitors like the Volkswagen ID.3 and the Renault Zoe, according to a new report. You can see why Tesla CEO Elon Musk is so anxious to get Tesla's factory in Germany up and running. - That report, published in Automotive News, also says that, unsurprisingly, Tesla will be the best-selling EV brand, too, though Volkswagen will be the best-selling EV company, by virtue of selling EVs not just with the Volkswagen marque but also electric Audis, Cupras, Skodas, and Porsches, too. - Sales of the Model 3 jumped 84 percent to 113,397 through November, according to data from JATO Dynamics market researcher. Volkswagen's ID3 compact hatchback is likely to be at No. 2. ID3 sales rose 125 percent to 63,109 in the first 11 months. The Renault Zoe, 2020's best-selling EV is on track to be No. 3. Through 11 months, Zoe sales were 60,551, down 27 percent. For those not in the know, the Ryzen (formerly Atom) is responsible for handling infotainment duties on Tesla EVs. It's directly responsible for the screen's responsiveness when activating menus, playing games, loading apps like YouTube or Netflix, and swiping around the navigational map. - The first Model 3 and Y vehicles with MCU3 (Infotainment Computer with AMD Ryzen) are now being produced and delivered in North America! - One other notable change coming alongside the Ryzen chip is the inclusion of a new, smaller Li-ion battery to power the vehicle's 12-volt system. This replaces the antiquated 12-volt lead-acid batteries found in almost every other internal combustion engine vehicle and previous Teslas. The Li-ion battery, which is shared with newer Model S and Model X vehicles, weighs just 4 pounds compared to 27 pounds for its lead-acid predecessor and should last the life of the car (instead of 2 to 4 years). Was it a robbery gone wrong or something more sinister? It's been 41 years since Robert Bauer was stabbed several times in his South Buffalo house. Now it's 2021, and Robert's now 95-year-old sister Jean just wants to know, who killed her brother?
It's another edition of the “Finer Wings Club” on Talking Buffalo Podcast, this time with Patrick Moran being joined by ESPN Buffalo Bills beat reporter Marcel Louis Jacques and WGR 550's Nate Geary for a podcast taped at Imperial Pizza on Abbott Road in South Buffalo. Part of the fabric of the South Buffalo community for more than a quarter-century, Imperial Pizza is typically best known for their pizza. However, the guys found out their wings are definitely a forced to be reckoned with. They tried three flavors and to say all three were blown away by the Honey Mustard BBQ is an understatement. They also discuss the Loganberry BBQ and Medium wings and the overall feel good vibe of places like Imperial. Marcel goes on to say the Honey Mustard BBQ rival Macy's Place Pizzeria while Nate gives credit for exceptional cooked wings. They also spend time talking about their excitement professionally with Bills training camp starting while acknowledging concerns with Covid. Nate highlights left guard and tight end as positional battles he's looking forward to seeing play out at camp while Marcel talks about how the young defensive ends figure to fit in early. They also have takes on if Josh Allen will get an extension before the regular season start and their feelings about the Bills being prohibitive favorites in the AFC east entering the season for the first time in many (many) years. Make sure you check out Imperial Pizza, located at 1035 Abbott Road in Buffalo. ♦♦♦♦♦ If you love listening to us here on Talking Buffalo Podcast, what's stopping you from grabbing a mic and starting your own show? John Durrant Larkin was extremely prominent in building out the booming Larkin district right on the border of the City of Buffalo and South Buffalo. From Soap manufacturing to now bringing in corporate partners to occupy the space, Larkin has had quite the impact that is still being utilized today. Larkin also worked with fellow Buffalo Prominent figure Frank Lloyd Wright to build out the area, which is why there are multiple homages to him throughout the city. I was intrigued by the 1968 song "The Prophet" by The Wayward Bus. I played that song on my last show. So I did some research and found a repository for such things as research on ESP, records about ESP, tea cozies based on ESP. I found an album by David Hoy, the aforementioned "prophet". “David Hoy believes the future can be changed…if it can be foreseen. Hoy says “I hope my predictions into the future will be taken away as an experiment in ESP. I make many predictions I cannot explain, but I state them just as they come to me – through a process of mind-release best defined as TIME PROJECTED EMPATHY. In many cases, Hoy frankly hopes that action can be taken to avoid the events he foresees…We predict you will find The Prophet entertainingly awesome.” This record was released in 1970 and doesn't exist in any other format at the moment. But you know I'm gonna bring you the strange. Just like my prom date said about me. Back cover text: Dr. David Hoy, one of America's foremost authorities on extrasensory perception, is a scholar of extraordinary psychic capacity. He has conducted a lifetime study of mind-to-mind communication and is world-renowned for his ESP experiences and research conducted under scientific conditions. He is also the author of several books on ESP, read by a large following in seven languages. Dr. Hoy's astonishing predictions have been well documented and proven to be 85% accurate. David Hoy predicted Bobby Goldsboro's smash hit recording of "Honey" weeks before either of them ever heard of the song! Sixty days before the Silver Bridge collapsed into the Ohio River near Point Pleasant, W. Va., in 1967, David Hoy predicted the disaster on a taped program at radio station KDKA in Pittsburgh. Two years before Jackie Kennedy and Aristotle Onassis were wed, David Hoy predicted the match on Boston radio and TV! Two weeks before the assassination of Sen. Robert Kennedy, David Hoy predicted at Tusculum College in Greenville, Tenn., that Kennedy would win the California primary but that it would be fraught with tragedy! In January of 1969, David Hoy predicted that because of personal tragedy, Sen. Ted Kennedy would not run for the presidency in 1972! Dr. Hoy's methods of predicting future events are recounted in this monumental recording. His vast experieince [sic] in the realm of extrasensory perception uniquely qualifies him to tell others how to awaken their psychic faculties and develop their own extrasensory potential. This album is the most explicit and interesting presentation of ESP development I have come across in my eight years of psychic study. Ronald E. Deckard - Specialist in Psychic Research David Hoy - ESP According To Hoy (Side 1) (1970) Translator - My Favorite Drug (1982) Dan Lewis exposed me to this album, which I like a lot. I remember that and Ken Gee singing "Everywhere I'm Not" for his band The Standard. He sang it as if he was trying to get out of a hostage situation. The Standard was notable for having George Tatuska on drums. Later George was a founding member of Goo Goo Dolls. Ah, South Buffalo in the '80s. Anyhow, a more edgy but less versatile XTC. Translator - Everywhere That I'm Not (1982) Translator - Sleeping Snakes (1982) Barry Mann - Kicks (demo) (1965) Originally offered to The Animals. The Beatles - Revolution (guitars and organ only) (1968) Carole King - Take A Giant Step (demo) (1966) Charles Manson interview from 1966 Diety - Disco Child (1977) The Move - Flowers In The Rain (demo) (1966) Roy Wood and Carl Wayne demo. You can really hear the original chords. Gila - This Morning (1973) From Discogs: Formed in early 1969, out of the Stuttgart political commune, as Gila Füchs, we can only guess as to what their music was like in these early days, yet they quickly established themselves as the foremost exponents of psychedelic space-rock. After disbanding for some six months or so, and working as a member of Popol Vuh, Conny Veit decided to form a new incarnation of Gila. This new band was a veritable supergroup, as it featured Popol Vuh leader Florian Fricke and ex-Amon Düül II multi-instrumentalist Daniel Fichelscher. Although hinted at by the earlier Gila, the new Gila sound [ed: this record] was very much in the Popol Vuh style, with medieval and ethnic touches in a complexly textured rock music featuring multi-guitars and female vocals. Whereas Popol Vuh were purely a studio band, Gila toured and played many concerts, and existed until summer 1974. After this Danny Fichelscher joined Popol Vuh, and Gila eventually split. Conny Veit then joined Guru Guru for a short while before disappearing from the scene for several years. He reappeared within the ranks of Popol Vuh some time later. Whether he has made any other music, we don't know. James Brown - Sayin' and Doin' It (1974) Michael Nesmith and the First National Band - Listen To The Band (early acetate) (1970) I really don't like this version. Odyssey - Who (1974) An early disco project by Vangelis. I have played some Aphrodite's Child on my show, but probably won't play much Jon and Vangelis. Jon being Jon Anderson from Yes. Okie Duke - Ain't No Color To Soul (1971) Farley Parkenfarker is the stage name of keyboardist Okie Duke. Best known for his 1978 recording, Farley Parkenfarker Plays Elvis, which he performed on a highly modified Hammond B-3 organ. Pete Townshend - I Can See For Miles (demo) (1966) Peter and Gordon - I Feel Like Going Out (1968) Peter and Gordon - Woman (early version with Paul McCartney on drums) (1965) Roy Brown - Great Casaboo (1965) I played it twice in a row. I didn't mean to, but it's a great song. Human League -Don't You Want Me (demo) (1981) SAHB (Sensational Alex Harvey Band) - Shake That Thing (1974) Trivia: This album features guest singer Barry St. John, who sang on Dark Side of the Moon, and was a brief member of the band began by my favorite tax cheat, Les Humphries. SAHB - Give My Complements To The Chef (1974) More trivia: Kindly fu** right off if you don't like SAHB. Stop asking for new and original sounds when this one goes shamefully undiscovered. SAHB - Who Murdered Sex? (1978) "Not me," said the censor, "It's all going well..." David Hoy - ESP According To Hoy (Side 2) (1970)

High school coach and special education teacher, Dan Hager talks to Clarence and Alex about his evolution from a successful club career with South Buffalo to leading a thriving program at Grand Island High School. Dan brings positivity and perspective to the show, and a few laughs.
The hilarity continues on Licensed to Talk as we are joined by Mike Bean. Mike is a legendary South Buffalo bartender and a lifelong public servant. He is now the co-owner of Potter's Field. We will hear stories from bars and buses. We all need a laugh and Mike delivers. Don't forget to tip your bartender and wear a mask.
Today, on what would have been his 70th birthday, we pay tribute to the late, great Tim Russert - Moderator of Meet the Press and NBC News Washington Bureau Chief.Unlike many in the public eye - Tim was the same guy off camera as he was on. He was tough, but fair, - always quick with a joke and above all he was forever humbled by his success and the opportunities afforded the son of a sanitation worker from South Buffalo.“What a country?” Tim would often marvel - he lived by the words of the pious Saint Luke - “To whom much has been given, much will be required.”Tim believed it was his responsibility as a journalist to hold our leaders accountable - regardless of party. To ask tough, but fair questions in pursuit of the truth.A lawyer by training, a Meet the Press interview was like a public deposition. He didn’t suffer fools and he wrote his questions so that anything short of a complete and honest answer would be met with a series of increasingly pointed follow ups. When he believed a public official was shading the truth – or worse – Tim would lean across the table and remind them, with purpose: "Senator, Madame Secretary, Mr. President – Words Matter."That is his legacy - and for those of us who want to honor him, we must try our best to continue that mission. So today - on what would have been his 70th birthday - we honor Tim Russert by playing his 2002 Commencement Address at the University of Massachusetts Boston. It would have been enough just to see them pitch. Taking the mound at San Francisco's Candlestick Park that summer night in 1963 were 42-year-old Warren Spahn and 25-year-old Juan Marichal -- the embodiment of an ageless wonder headed for the Hall of Fame and a whirling wunderkind making his own case for immortality. But as one scoreless inning followed another en route to a 16th-inning climax, the 15,921 fans in attendance began to sense that they were watching a pitching duel for the ages. They remained, shivering and thrilled, to see it end after midnight. The sui generis event surpassed the world of statistics and entered into the realm of magic. Author Jim Kaplan, who covered baseball for Sports Illustrated in the 1970's and 1980's, initially planned to expand a magazine story he'd written about the game into book form. The more he researched the principals in his travels from San Francisco to South Buffalo to Santo Domingo, however, the more fascinated he became with their biographies. Spahn was one of the most decorated ballplayers to fight in World War II. Marichal narrowly escaped death three times. Despite their obvious differences -- Spahn was white, American, and left-handed, Marichal is bronzed, Dominican, and right-handed -- Kaplan found extraordinary similarities between the friendly rivals. Listen in as Jim Kaplan takes us back, 50 years ago, to The Greatest Game Ever Pitched...
