So viel neue Musik!

Here it is, the final long chapters of Woe Is Me. I hope you have found the journey thrilling and edifying and fun. If so, keep an eye out for the next book in the series! We all like collapse stories right now. And perhaps we should. There's widespread anxiety about the future and all our institutions appear ready to crumble. But stories like these aren't predictive. They're cautionary tales that remind us how terrible things can be if we make bad decisions. In this case, don't be a mystery man and leave the witches in their own dimension. The fifth story to be featured on the podcast THE UNUSEFUL HOUR, Woe Is Me features the writing and acting of DW Draffin, who has been doing both for a very long time.
A little delay in the episode delivery pipeline. My heartfelt apologies. I blame the animators we hired in Korea. Perfectionists. Not like me. The fifth story to be featured on the podcast THE UNUSEFUL HOUR, Woe Is Me features the writing and acting of DW Draffin, who has been doing both for a very long time.
Our heroes are in trouble now. But I don't like telling hopeless tales, even if it may seem like it from time to time. The fifth story to be featured on the podcast THE UNUSEFUL HOUR, Woe Is Me features the writing and acting of DW Draffin, who has been doing both for a very long time.
Dark stories. Dark thoughts. But as Lacie and Mack realize, they can't make it through the day without hope. Even when all possible success has vanished and you are alone, you still cannot give up hope. Happy New Year. The fifth story to be featured on the podcast THE UNUSEFUL HOUR, Woe Is Me features the writing and acting of DW Draffin, who has been doing both for a very long time.
The storms are coming now. But in the real world it's a good thing. Or at least in California. We need this rain. The fifth story to be featured on the podcast THE UNUSEFUL HOUR, Woe Is Me features the writing and acting of DW Draffin, who has been doing both for a very long time.
Michael Bohn and met on my first tour in 2011 while he was in the band Woe Is Me, as I was touring with Of Mice & Men on the Tour Loko run. We would then tour together over the years. A LOT has changed since then; Leaving Woe Is Me, to being a big part of the band ISSUES, to now...a new start with his band The Villa. We chat about the new band, what's it all about, the members and so much more. It was great to catch up with Michael and hear he is doing well. I consider this story to be action horror, the reading of which is similar to playing a video game. It has been a good introduction to reading for middle school kids who don't like to read, especially with the attached roleplaying game. The fifth story to be featured on the podcast THE UNUSEFUL HOUR, Woe Is Me features the writing and acting of DW Draffin, who has been doing both for a very long time.
So this all began one day on a long hike. I was on San Juan Island, WA. taking a walk by myself. And I thought: What would happen if a band of six goblins appeared at the far end of the trail? I had no weapons, no advantage. We saw each other at the same time. How would I deal with six little monsters waving their jagged blades at me? Thus was trailgoblins born, a tactical roleplaying game for hikers. At the beginning of a walk you choose your loadout, such as a shotgun and a net, or a .22 rifle and a hatchet. Then, at some point on your hike (usually at a rest stop or picturesque location) one of 20 different monster types appear, in a variety of numbers. Roll the dice. Learn exactly where they appear from, what their disposition is, and how they move. Use cover. Assess the actual wilderness around you to gain tactical advantage and defeat them. Then I began to think of the world where trailgoblins happens while my daughter was going through the darkest years of middle school and The Horror Wars were conceived. I hope you enjoy. The fifth story to be featured on the podcast THE UNUSEFUL HOUR, Woe Is Me features the writing and acting of DW Draffin, who has been doing both for a very long time.
So just what the hell is this story anyway? Well... that's complicated. And I'm tired. Just know at this point that it grew out of a roleplaying game for hikers called trailgoblins. This morning my wife and I climbed a mountain. I'll post the rules next week when I can move again. The fifth story to be featured on the podcast THE UNUSEFUL HOUR, Woe Is Me features the writing and acting of DW Draffin, who has been doing both for a very long time.
Maelstroms carpet the land. Trolls and goblins and ogres are real and they're destroying modern civilization. Welcome to The Horror Wars. Every few hundred years monsters invade the world. It takes the heroism of normal people to survive. The fifth story to be featured on the podcast THE UNUSEFUL HOUR, Woe Is Me features the writing and acting of DW Draffin, who has been doing both for a very long time.

We create our own reality. The stories we tell ourselves become true in our minds. And we assign meaning about our own value by comparing ourselves with others. So, how can we flip the script when the meaning we're giving our current circumstances doesn't serve us? How can we get from WOE IS ME to NOW WHAT? On this episode of Destined to Be, we explain how we place meaning on events based on the values others gave us, describing what to do when you're stuck in a victim mentality and why it's so important to eliminate energy wasters from your life. We weigh in on why so many people struggle to express emotion, challenging you to identify the societal conditioning that's behind your fear of judgement and make your own choices. Listen in for insight on how counterproductive it is to worry about things you don't want to happen and learn to identify when a thought isn't serving you and break the cycle, shifting away from a feeling of lack and into an abundance mindset! Key Takeaways How we place meaning on events based on the values others gave us (e.g.: death, divorce) What to do when you're caught in a victim mentality How we create our own reality around the stories we tell ourselves Why it's crucial to be aware of energy wasters and do things that fill you up Why we struggle to express our emotions and how freeing it is to get past that fear of judgement How our PREFERENCES block us from our POSSIBILITIES The liberation of identifying societal conditioning and making your own choices How counterproductive it is to worry about something that you don't want to happen How to shift from a scarcity to an abundance mindset The meaning we make about our own worth when we compare ourselves to others How to identify when a thought isn't serving you and break the cycle The relationship between judging others and judging ourselves Connect with Jeremiah & Mallory Destined to Be Podcast Destined to Be on Instagram Jeremiah on Instagram Mallory on Instagram Level Up Entourage Facebook Group Text LEVEL UP to 586-600-8492 Resources Gaia The Quantum Effect Series on Gaia 10 Years of Personal Growth on Destined to Be EP152 Reclaiming Your Identity After Kids EP151 Register for Mallory's Fall Level Up Wait List

Pastor Clint Boyer preaching Woe Is Me from Micah 7.
In a future, highly regulated society, the Authorities control all human behaviour, including how life companions are selected, even forbidding the use of the word love. Any societal transgressions are punished with banishment and scarring of the offenders. Before the banishment and scarring, a transgressor is compelled to write a handwritten confession.Written by J. “Woe Is Me” The post “Woe Is Me” appeared first on Angus Church of the Nazarene.
It's a time of great mourning for this country as many people are upset about the latest bill that was just passed in New York that legalizes abortion all the way up to birth. However, Rebecca says that even though our emotions are justified during this time, we need to do more when it comes to changing this world. We can't expect our government to save us from these things because the reality is that they never will because this is a broken world. We need to mobilize ourselves and focus on one-on-one conversation as we help change one heart at a time. At the end of the day, we can mourn and say "Woe Is Me" or we can take action to make sure that there is a Pregnancy Center in every city in this country.
This week we're featuring a selection of poetry byt J.J. Steinfeld. Canadian fiction writer, poet, and playwright J. J. Steinfeld lives on Prince Edward Island, where he is patiently waiting for Godot’s arrival and a phone call from Kafka. While waiting, he has published eighteen books, including Would You Hide Me? (Stories, Gaspereau Press, 2003), Misshapenness (Poetry, Ekstasis Editions, 2009), Identity Dreams and Memory Sounds (Poetry, Ekstasis Editions, 2014), Madhouses in Heaven, Castles in Hell (Stories, Ekstasis Editions, 2015), An Unauthorized Biography of Being (Stories, Ekstasis Editions, 2016), and Absurdity, Woe Is Me, Glory Be (Poetry, Guernica Editions, 2017). His short stories and poems have appeared in numerous anthologies and periodicals internationally, and over fifty of his one-act plays and a handful of full-length plays have been performed in Canada and the United States. Other People's Flowers is the podcast that showcases short stories, essays, and reportage.
[this article is contributed by Alex Rover] In part 1 of this article, we have examined the Calvinistic teaching of Total Depravity. Total Depravity is the doctrine describing the human condition before God as creatures who are completely dead in sin and unable to save themselves. The problem we found with this doctrine is in the word ‘total’. While human depravity is an indisputable fact, we demonstrated in part 1 the problems arising from taking it to Calvinistic extremes. I believe that the key to approaching this topic with the correct balance is found in 1 Corinthians 5:6 "Don't you know that a little yeast leavens the whole batch of dough?" We can see humans as both evil and good at the same time, each having a portion of the yeast that is sin, hence fully dead. Therefore, I submit that it is possible to see humans as inherently good and still be able to satisfy the fact of us being wholly dead in sin and unable to save ourselves. Imagine: a certain woman is 99% good, and 1% sinful. If we met such a woman, we would probably call her a saint. But the 1% of sinfulness would act as yeast, and would make her 100% dead in sin, and unable to save herself. Something is missing from the picture. How can she be 100% dead in sin, yet be 99% good? Holy, Holy, Holy In Isaiah’s vision of Jehovah God in His Glory, one seraphim calls out to another and said: "Holy, Holy, Holy, is the LORD of hosts, The whole earth is full of His glory.” (Isaiah 6:2 ESV) At this, the doorposts were shaking and the temple of Jehovah was filled with smoke. That’s when Isaiah realized and said: “I am ruined for I am a man of unclean lips.” Unless we truly appreciate our Father’s ultimate Holiness, we cannot understand our own depravity. Even the tiniest speckle of sin would make us fall down on our knees before our superlatively Holy Father. In this light we proclaim: “WOE IS ME, FOR I AM RUINED” (Isaiah 6:5 NASB). Then one of the Seraphim flew to Isaiah with a burning coal in his hand, which he had taken from the altar. He touched his mouth with it and said: “Behold, this has touched your lips, and your wickedness is removed and your sin is atoned for.” (Isaiah 6:6-7) Only if our sins are atoned for, we can approach God and start to know him as a Father. We understand that we are totally dead in our sin and unworthy to approach him without our mediator Christ. Meditating on his enduring love and activity (Psalm 77:12) along with his Holiness will help us to develop a genuine bond with him and never allow our hearts to be hardened. Hymns of Dawn - Holy, Holy, Holy http://meletivivlon.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/335.mp3 1 Holy, holy, holy! Lord God Almighty! Early in the morning our song shall rise to Thee: Holy, holy, holy! merciful and mighty! God in The Highest, blessed Majesty. 2 Holy, holy, holy! all the saints adore Thee, Casting down their golden crowns around the glassy sea; Cherubim and seraphim falling down before Thee, Which wast, and art, and evermore shalt be. 3 Holy, holy, holy! though the darkness hide Thee, Though the eye of sinful man Thy glory may not see, Only Thou art holy; there is none beside Thee Perfect in pow’r, in love, and purity. 4 Holy, holy, holy! Lord God Almighty! All Thy works shall praise Thy Name, in earth, and sky, and sea, Holy, holy, holy! merciful and mighty! Yea, let thy Son be blest eternally. In His Image In his image we were made, to resemble his Holiness, to abound in love and wisdom and might. To reflect his glory. (Gen 1:27) Let’s analyze Genesis 2:7: “The LORD Yahweh formed the man from the soil of the ground [ha adam] and breathed into his nostrils the breath [neshamah, 5397] of life, and the man became a living being [nephesh, 5315].” What does it mean to be in God’s image? Does it refer to our body? If we were in God’s image by body, then wouldn’t we have a spiritual body? (Compare 1 Corinthians 15:35-44) Observe from Genesis 2:7 what exactly caused man to be a living being in his image?
Philosophically considering the ancient Greek tragedy, which we also performed with Lucy Lawless and Paul Provenza. End song: "Woe Is Me" (live, 2002) by Madison Lint. Features a preview of the Aftershow, feat. Wes and host Danny Lobell.
Hey gang. In this one we'll go over the verses I kicked on Amaculan's Bad Lad album. The first one being from a track called the baddest, where Amaculan and I continued our cypher from my track called "Silver Chucks" on the previous album we covered. It's fairly hardcore... actually pretty darn hard core and that's why I just cut the hook/chorus out of this podcast. The second one is from "Self Assassanition". This is a not-so-sad suicide song. The idea was to talk about auto-euthanasia without having this "Woe Is Me" vibe about it. The third and final track from this whole era of my involvment with establishing our name locally and letting folks on our hip hop scene know that our crew was here and serious is called "NO GAMES".... This was probably the most irresponsible desctructive thing I've ever done behind a microphone. I did not write this track. I just freestyled (improved) the whole thing, from the verse, to the hook, to the adlibs, to even the background falsetto singing and humming. It's what and who I talk about and the context with which I talk about these folks that made this track a horrible decision to put on an album and put out in the streets. From here we'll start hearing my tracks I did between the ages of 19 and 21. Most of which didn't go on albums, but on mixtapes, compilations, and sold as singles. For the rest of this show, I'll do some reading and commenting on another part of rape culture that I didn't know exists and it makes me rethink my position on this thing called cyber bullying.
