Since then, she has been involved with multiple educational platforms to inform the public on the nature of the ongoing COVID pandemic, maternal decision-making, and infant health, and has been a frequent expert guest on CNN Turkey and many other news outlets. As a Robert Wood Johnson Foundation fellow, Offringa received her MA in Health and Science Journalism from Columbia Journalism School in 2014. She received her BA in Economics and Global Health and Health Policy from Princeton University in 2012. She has worked in health TV as a medical researcher and received an Emmy Recognition for her work in 2013. She is also the co-founder of the academic mentorship initiative, Senyuva Prep.
