We've all heard of it, the 'Let Them Theory' has taken the world by storm. Popularised by Mel Robins, the simple phrase has transformed peoples lives as they learn that it's okay that you can't control other people, only your own reaction. Today I again chat to my wise friend, Jemma (host of The Psychology Of Your 20s) about why everyone is so obsessed with the phrase, what it encapsulates and why it is still flawed.

In this episode, we'll look at why motivation doesn't work for most empaths. I'll also talk about Mel Robins' "Five Second Rule" and how we can overcome our brain's resistance to doing something we don't want to do. We constantly strive to motivate ourselves but always end up feeling like we fall short. The problem with being motivated is that it is only a temporary solution. The fact is you will never be motivated all the time even if you look at the most influential people on the planet. Avoid criticizing yourself simply because you lack motivation to do something doesn't mean you "lack' something. Even those you believe are motivated are not, I assure you. They simply know how to bypass their brain and do it anyway! If you have ever felt stuck in a job, career, relationship, etc. or experience the feeling of “being on the fence” about a decision or a life direction, you know it is a horrible place to be! So, here is the question to ask yourself:  Do you want the best for you?   In this episode, Kelly shares that we make 35,000 decisions each and every day, yet some of us get stuck when wanting to make a decision in our life, family, career, or otherwise!  What stops us? Fear Not knowing what to do These seem like the two obvious reasons we can stay stuck or not make that decision.  But is it really that we don't know what to do?  NO, because if we are honest, we can always find the resource to help us know what we would need to do.  It is more about WHO we are BEING, who we are showing up as, and the mindset that is dominant that is the issue.   Join us in our FREE Facebook Group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/wakeupanddream/ where you will have access to an incredible article by Bob Proctor called “Decision.”  We need to see ourselves in a future memory.  We need to tap into our imagination and feel it, breathe it, and let the emotions of it come alive in full color.   Kelly also referred to a podcast by Mel Robins, and in it she encouraged anyone struggling with confidence in themselves and their decision-making ability to do these 3 things each and every morning: Do NOT hit the snooze button Make your bed Give yourself a “High Five” in the mirror!   You are worthy of not only dreaming great things for yourself and your family, but you already have everything inside of YOU to make the Decision in alignment with wanting the best for yourself!   Schedule a Free Discovery Call with one of us and we can help you discover what it is that you truly desire and where there is a gap in that being your reality. Multifamily Streamlined with Leslie Mathis

Hello Apartments friends it's me Leslie Mathis with the Multifamily Streamlined Podcast. I put some pretty big words out in the universe last week at the closing of the podcast that I will follow up with a great one. Even as I said it I was a little worried that I might not be able to deliver but I put that thought out of my mind. See I recently just listened to the High Five Habits by Mel Robins and it really goes into the science of how powerful your brain is. In transparency I still haven't high fived myself in the mirror but I am going to. LOL But one thing she talks about is self doubt and the confidence steeler our thoughts that we allow to enter into our brain really are. It's so hard to silence the self critic within our brain especially for us people pleasers and overachievers. But with those thoughts apparently we train our brain to look for the things to confirm the negative talk. One of the tools she talks about is when those thoughts come in our mind we need to say “I'm not thinking about that right now”. Since listening to the book I have really embraced this approach and I think there might be some truth to it. So as I made that promise to you all and then the negative thought popped in my head I just said “not thinking about that right now”. So anyways listen to the book it's worth it… I love that Mel Robins reads it herself too. So where do we head from here? You all know I like to tie things together and I like to circle back often times since I am a processor - as I get older I feel more comfortable and don't have as much shame in my game for not being quick witted - there is a space for all of us in this glorious world. Two episodes ago Kristina Watts mentioned the drift - this is something her and I have talked about multiple times and even early on in our coaching. You see as she explained the other day and to me a few months ago the drift is the river you are flowing down and just going with the flow. Taking things as they come - self numbing with social media - online shopping - the thing you are allowing to prevent you from getting busy with whatever that goal or dream is. BIG and small.

Advita, Jenni and Trudy invite you to their therapy session! They talk about eating cheese, ‘doom scrolling', being part of procrastination royalty, wedding weight-loss and bedtime rituals. How to Plan an Unbelievably Productive Week in Less Than an Hour

First, let's talk about some productivity tips for staying productive. Productivity is all about simplicity. An elaborate morning routine or productivity method may not be what works for you, but it could be perfect for someone else.  I've tried tons of methods to find out that it may be best to integrate several methods. But all in all, no matter which method is best for you, these steps will help you get where you want to be.Before we jump into planning a productive week, let me tell you the three rules we follow before we set our goals for the week.Keep it simple - Apply the 80/20 ruleContrary to some gurus, You don't need to have tons of complicated planners, notebooks, and apps to be a productive person. In fact, the less clutter you have, the better! That's why the Pareto's Principle, the 80/20 rule is a great way to simplify your life and focus on the important things. Basically, this rule states that 80% of your results come from 20% of your efforts. So, if you're feeling overwhelmed by all that you need to do, take a step back and ask yourself which tasks are actually going to move the needle? Give yourself a task test. Do I NEED to do this to reach my goal? I recently read the book via; Audible Can't Hurt Me by David Goggins, who is a retired professional athlete. And is the only person in history to have completed Navy SEAL training, Air Force tactical air control party training, and Ranger School. He is also a former world record holder for the most pull-ups done in 24 hours. Pretty amazing stuff, right? David put in countless hours of training in order to make his dreams happen. But what if David only spent 20% of his time training and the other 80% of his time doing tasks that had no real bearing on his goals. Just think... What if Oprah spent 80% of her time in her early years gardening? Do you think you'd know who she was today? "Someone's sitting in the shade today because someone planted a tree a long time ago."— Warren Buffett The first step is to focus on the one thing that you want to accomplish for the week that aligns with who you want to become.Be consistently intentionalThat brings me to the second rule. Be intentional with your weekly goals. Do they line up with your monthly, quarterly, and yearly goals?  If your goal is to become an influencer. Your week should reflect tasks and actions towards becoming an influencer. If your personal goal is becoming more patient, your weekly goals should reflect that goal...Consistently! So what do you do when it's hard to be consistent? David said in his book that when it got really hard to continue, he was running with a heart condition, a broken leg, and bloody swollen feet. He pulled out virtual cookies from his mind's cookie jar of all the wins he had already accomplished, both large and small, to encourage his willpower to continue. Jerry Senfield uses the don't break the chain method in his life as a comedian. Jerry consistently and intentionally applies the 80/20 rule by writing one joke every day; because he has created a lifelong string of many jokes, he will remain a comedic icon. Action step: What is one thing you can consistently and intentionally apply to reach your goals?Be flexible and integrate your entire lifeOne huge problem with "time management" is that we do have not to control over time itself. There's no way we could accurately schedule every moment. Life happens, which is why it's best to add plenty of cushion to our day. We forget to integrate our life with our work and our work with our life.  Don't get me wrong; I'm not encouraging you to multitask. What I am saying is when you plan your day, keep in mind that you may have doctor's appointments, little league games, lunch with a friend, downtime to yourself, and time for the necessities like getting ready for the day and reflecting on your day. By no means am I suggesting scheduling out every little piece of your day. If that doesn't work for you, it definitely doesn't work for me; however, what I am saying is to make sure that you are flexible and that you remember to include both your work and your life. Again, I don't encourage task switching or multitasking; however, there are times when multitasking can be beneficial to you. For example, if you've scheduled an hour for a walk, that's also the time when you can listen to podcasts or catch up with a friend or neighbor. Let's sum up the three rules we should follow before we plan our week.Keep it simple - apply the 80/20 ruleBe intentional - Do your weekly goals apply to your overall goal?Be flexible - Integrate your entire lifeIt doesn't matter if you're wondering how to plan your week as a student, entrepreneur, or a goal-getter; these strategies will help you build a solid plan to get you there.Step 1 Schedule a Day to Plan Your WeekOne of the best ways to make sure that you actually plan your week is to schedule it in your calendar. This will help to ensure that you get it done instead of procrastinating or winging it because you didn't make the time. Some people swear by planning on Sunday or super early Monday morning. Sunday's used to be my number one pick too. However, my favorite days now are Thursday or Friday. Find space in your calendar that you can commit to and schedule it. Platforms like Google calendar make it easier to schedule your planning sessions for weeks to come automatically. It's like a date with your planning session. So that means time without social media which includes but is not limited to Tic Tok, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snap Chat, LinkedIn, and their friends' Clubhouse, YouTube, and Pinterest. When you have a scheduled day of the week for planning, it's easier to stay focused and productive. Step 2 Use a System to PlanLet's talk about where are you going to store your plans? We have to use a system. Some where to house our plans outside of our minds. This system is a giant step for your sanity. It's the difference between sleepless nights and sound rest and the difference between a wish and an accomplishment.Studies have shown that people who write down their goals are more likely to achieve them.People with written goals are 50% more likely to achieve than people without written goals (http://www.goalband.co.uk/goal-achievement-facts.html) Multimillionaire CEO and author Lonnie Dawson says that only 1% of the population has written goals they review regularly, and these were among the highest achievers in the United States. Dawson also says a millionaire looks at their goals once a day in a billionaire looks at their goals twice a day.  But it's not enough to just jot down a few goals, review them, and hope for the best. You need to find a system that works for you to plan your week."Experts in every field agree on the transformative power of systems"(Mark Joiner, Simpleology). Do you like paper or digital planners? While some people swear by paper planners, others prefer the convenience of digital planning apps. There are pros and cons to both methods, but it ultimately comes down to personal preference. I like to benefit from the muscle memory of using pen and paper, but I had random journals, notebooks, and pieces of paper everywhere. But I prefer the flexibility of digital planners. What was my solution? I pair my digital planner with an iPad and Apple pencil using the Goodnotes app. It's the best of both worlds for me. I can keep my plans handy wherever I go, but I can manually write everything out without sending out a search party. Whether it's a digital planner or good old-fashioned pen and paper, there are plenty of options. I have a free time blocking template and digital planner template you can use either digital or as a printable. However, if you use printables, you may want to include some digital systems like: NotionTrelloGoogle CalendarGoogle Tasks Step 3 Brain dump, categorize and prioritize tasksOnce you have your system in place, it's time to do a brain dump. This is where you make a list and write down everything that's on your mind, no matter how big or small. Once you have everything out of your head, you can start to categorize and prioritize your tasks. How do you categorize your tasks is an individual thing. It's what's important to you. I say break them down into no more than five categories such as finance, social, personal, health, and family. In case you need a little help understanding the importance of categorizing or selecting your top categories, I'd like to share an extremely popular theory quoted by great leaders like Tony Robbins, Mel Robins, and Brandon Burchard. Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs is a theory in psychology that Abraham Maslow proposed in his 1943 paper "A Theory of Human Motivation".The hierarchy describes the basic needs that human beings must satisfy in order for them to reach their full potential.  The first level of the hierarchy is physiological needs, such as the need for food, water, and sleep. The second level is safety needs, including the need for shelter and protection from danger.  The third level is love and belongingness needs, including the need for friendships and relationships. The fourth level is esteem needs, including the need for respect and recognition. The fifth and final level is self-actualization needs, which includes the need to become everything that a person can be. The hierarchy is often represented as a pyramid, with the lower levels representing the more basic needs and the higher levels representing the more complex needs. Maslow believed that all human beings have the potential to reach the fifth level of self-actualization, but not all will do so.  He also believed that people are motivated to satisfy their needs in order of importance, starting with physiological needs and moving up to self-actualization needs. The goal is for us to become the most fulfilled version of ourselves. Categorizing our priorities helps us get there by reminding us of what's really important in all aspects of our life, not just one area. So look at your brain dump list and prioritize the things you NEED to do, and categorize them. For example, working out would be under the health or fitness category, and editing a blog post would fall under something like the finance or career category.Step 4 Create the ProcessNapoleon Hill says, Plan your work and work your plan.So how do we work our plan?Once you've identified your goal and prioritized it, it's time to start planning how you're going to achieve it. This is where you take action! If you struggle with distractions, procrastination, or overwhelm.I totally get it...I spent too many hours wondering what I should do next. A pro tip here is to use templates. I spent counts hours and dollars purchasing courses and workshops so I could learn the best processes for my tasks. You can cut the line and the cost by visiting the Total Fit Boss Chick shop and grabbing a done-for-you template. If you don't see a template you're looking for, it's probably in the process of being created. However, I want to serve you well, so let me know if you are in search of anything in particular. In addition to using templates, I suggest task chunking. Task chunking is a great way to break down a large task into smaller, more manageable tasks. This can be helpful for complex tasks that seem overwhelming or for tasks that have a lot of steps. Make a list of all the tasks you need to complete to reach your goal. Be sure to include both big and small steps. For example, if your goal is to write several blog post, your list might include tasks like "research," "content writing," and "edit." Once you have your list of steps complete I, suggest task batching.Task batching is the process of completing similar tasks together. This can be done in a variety of ways, such as grouping related tasks together, completing them all at once, or scheduling them to be completed at the same time. Time blocking is another process to manage your time and stay productive. It involves setting aside specific blocks of time for specific tasks. This can be helpful for tasks that need to be completed in a specific amount of time, which we'll discuss a bit more in step 5.Step 5 Schedule your WeekNow it's time to schedule your week. This is where your calendar is your best friend. - "A calendar is a planning system. It is a way to see your life on paper." - Rachelle Gardner You may find it helpful to create a theme for your work. I like to schedule themed days so I don't have to constantly look at my calendar for what I should do on a particular day—for example, Talking Thursday. Thursday is the day I do all my talking for videos, podcasts, etc. High-priority tasks should go into your calendar first. The key is not to prioritize what's on your schedule but to schedule your priorities. Stephen Covey Here's how you can easily schedule your task in Google Calendar.1. Open Google Calendar and click the "Create" button in the top left corner.2. Select "Event" from the list of options.3. Enter the details for your task. The most important information is the date and time, but you may also want to include the name of the task and a brief description.4. Click "Save" when you're finished. Time blocking may help you drill even further. To time block, simply find a time on your calendar that you can dedicate to the task, and then block it off. This will help ensure that you don't accidentally schedule something else for that time, and that you'll be able to focus on the task at hand. For more on Time Blocking and a free Time blocking Template, read my blog post Time Blocking 101 Explained https://totalfitbosschick.com/time-blocking-method-ultimate-guide/ Finally, don't forget to include some downtime in your schedule! This is important for both your physical and mental health. Aim to include a few hours each week where you can relax and recharge. Let's recap! How to Plan an unbelievably Productive Week in Less Than an Hour.Step 1 Schedule a Day to Plan Your WeekStep 2 Use a System to PlanStep 3 Brain dump, categorize and prioritize tasksStep 4 Create the processStep 5 Schedule your weekYou can easily plan a productive week in less than an hour by following these simple steps! If you're looking for more tips on how to be productive, check out our blog post on the topic. Hey Tribe, How do I introduce this amazing lady and give her justice? If you know who Dee Hicks is you are luckier because you do! We had the absolute pleasure to talk to Dee in this episode and we left the conversation feeling more full of life than before. Dee is a WARRIOR momma, and she ain't gotta put up with any sh!t! She has a heart of gold and like myself was brought here to expose the corruption of various 3 letter organizations if you know what I mean... Dee's title is, Explant Liaison. She works for a surgeon down in Florida helping women who are suffering from breast implant illness (BII) explant their toxic tits. Dee knows first hand what it is like to be a victim of breast implant illness because she was one of the woman that thought she was dying but was told "it's all in your head". BII is getting a lot more attention these days because bigger names like Mel Robins and Clare Crawley from the batchlorette to name a few, started speaking out about the illness and talking about their journey. Not that long ago BII was completely ignored and scoffed at by the medical system and main stream media. As Dee told us, women that thought their breasts were making them sick were referred to as "nuts and sluts", nuts because their illness was all in their head and sluts because they got implants. Max Lucado is a pastor, speaker, and New York Times bestselling author. He's captivated the hearts of millions with his poetic storytelling and homespun humor. Join us as Max shares a timely message of hope and encouragement for a society still reeling from racial divides, political strife and a global pandemic. SHOW NOTES: As a teenager + young adult, Max was on a prodigal path. For decades, Max didn't share about the sexual abuse he experienced as a child because he felt healed shortly after the incident, assured his perpetrator would face God. According to Cigna, 61% of Americans felt lonely in 2019. Another 64% feel as if they have no one with whom they can share their truth.  Thirty-seven percent of US adults struggled with anxiety in the past week and 59.8% of young people 18-25 struggled with anxiety in the past seven days, according to CDC. Why is anxiety at an all-time high? We're leading fast-paced lifestyles, have access to more information than ever before and are less connected to a higher power. Unmet expectations drive unhappiness. Two out of three Americans identify as being unhappy (Harris Poll). "A man who wants to lead the orchestra must turn his back on the crowd." "To call yourself a child of God is one thing. To be called a child of God by those who watch your life is another thing altogether." If you enjoyed hearing from Max Lucado, tune into our New York Times bestselling authors playlist. Hear from Mel Robins, Bob Costas, Mitch Albom, Patrick Lencioni and more here. MAX LUCADO'S LIVE INSPIRED 7 Q. What is the best book you've ever read? A. The Bible and William Barclay's Commentary. Q. What is a characteristic or trait that you possessed as a child that you wish you still exhibited today? A. Play well. Q. Your house is on fire, all living things and people are out. You have the opportunity to run in and grab one item. What would it be? A. My Bible from 2000. Q. You are sitting on a bench overlooking a gorgeous beach. You have the opportunity to have a long conversation with anyone living or dead. Who would it be? A. My father and many characters from the Bible. Q. What is the best advice you've ever received? A. Life is short. Time is fleeting fast. Q. What advice would you give your 20-year-old self? A. Trust God's great grace. Q. It's been said that all great people can have their lives summed up in one sentence. How do you want yours to read? A. Life is short and then it's past. Only what's done for Christ will last.

Ko budilka oddrema in 15 minut pozneje znova zazvoni, je kortikalni del možganov, ki je odgovoren za odločanje, še vedno v spalnem ciklu. The concept that Mel Robins has made popular called 5 4 3 2 1 principle works because it rewires the behavior that is attached to a thought. Try it.

Podcast Episode – Feeling of Self Doubt Intro – Today I wanted to share with you something which affects me and I believe it affects all of us at some stage in our lives. I'm talking about the feeling of self-doubt. Before starting this podcast, I went through an emotional roller coaster of feelings. I didn't think anyone would listen, I didn't think I had the knowledge to start a podcast and I didn't think anyone would want to be interviewed by me. I lacked the confidence in my abilities which caused the self-doubt to seep in. Content - Definition of self-doubt o lack of confidence in the reliability of one's own motives, personality, thought, etc. o fear of the unknown or unfamiliar or fear of making decisions. o lack of confidence in oneself and one's abilities. o I believe women are more susceptible to self-doubt. Were my self-doubt coming from o My self-doubt stems from my childhood experience not just one specific experience but the accumulative effect of a number of smaller experiences. o If your facing self-doubt you may look back and find one specific experience in your past that caused you to doubt your self or you may be like me and it's an accumulative effect of different experiences. o When looking back we may find that these experiences included people close to us and they could be very painful experiences. If this is the case, I encourage you to contact a professional councillor or psychologist to help you understand the experiences and their effect on your life. o If the experiences involve someone you care about in most cases, we must remember that they were doing what they thought was best at the time and in their mind. o Another person's reality is different to your own. Triggers-starting something new o Emotional triggers are people, words, opinions, situations, or environmental situations that provoke an intense and excessive emotional reaction within us. Common emotions that we experience while being triggered include anger, rage, sadness, and fear. Virtually anything can trigger us, depending on our beliefs, values, and earlier life experiences such as a tone of voice, a type of person, a particular viewpoint, a single word – anything can be a trigger. o I have triggers including starting a new project and when someone questions why I doing something How its effecting me recording podcast episodes o My self-doubt made me delay in starting the podcast o Taking the first step to asking for interviews and returning emails to those that volunteered their time. How it affects me in my normal life o I think of ideas but never follow through because I don't believe I am good enough o I put off or procrastinate about things o I become defensive if people question my ability Is it something that's with me for life? o Yes, I believe it is something I will have to live with especially as a woman but it will decrease as I become more confident in my abilities and what I know How can I fix it/work on it? o Realising that I can't choose how I feel but I can always choose what I think and do with those feelings. o The feelings are natural but my behaviour and thoughts are a choice. o Mel Robins talked about the self-doubt cycle § Fear of failure -> Over thinking -> Doubting yourself § Change that too – Fear of failure -> Take action -> which than gives confidence and the cycle repeats While researching podcast's I came across the following 2 quote's which really influenced me and pushed me to take the podcast live Quote 1: It's not all about your experience, it's about having something to share Quote 2 by Gary Vaynerchuck: ‘If you don't have the experience your place is in sharing your ideas, hypothesises and opinions.' Questions – How does self-doubt affect you and how do you combat it? If you're anything like me, you love good motivation.  We're told we need to motivate our teams, our volunteers, ourselves, but is it actually garbage?  The definition of motivation is the desire or willingness to do something.  Motivation Garbage comes from Mel Robins and her book The 5 Second Rule.  She says motivation is garbage because if we wait to feel motivation that we will never get anything done.  Her 5 second rule says count backward 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 and just do it.  It counters your brain from feeling scared.  Moving forward and taking action is what helps you accomplish your goals, not waiting for the time you're going to actually feel motivated.   Our own motivation to get something done comes from the reason or the “why” you've set specific goals.  Once you've determined your reason, you will naturally feel more compelled to get it done.  Staying actively surrounded with things that are going to help you get to that next place will make a huge difference.  I've been listening to Zig Ziglar and I recently found one of his books while I was moving, See You at the Top.  He's such a great storyteller and knows how to really connect the dots.  He mentions frequently about listening to things repeatedly, and when you do you are much more likely to take action and to make things happen.  The more you rinse and repeat, the more your dopamine receptors are engaged – this can last anywhere from 2 hours to 2 days.  Maybe you've gone to hear a speaker at a conference, and you're all fired up and ready to get to work but then you find yourself not getting anything done so you go back and listen to another speaker to find that high from before. And still, you get nothing done.  The problem in this scenario is you can search externally for all the motivation in the world, but you still MUST take action.     You're trying to put on that fundraiser and raise those dollars and you're motivated to do it, but then reality kicks in and your day to day schedule comes into play and demands your time and attention.  Your motivation begins to wane because your focus is scattered everywhere.  This is when you have to come back to your why and find that internal motivation, rather than external, to help you stay the course.   Any big goal is going to take time, so you have to be able to wake up every day and stay focused.  You have to trick your brain and set yourself up for success by removing the obstacles standing in your way.  Our brains are hardwired to protect us, and when they detect something that is unfamiliar or uncomfortable, it's hard for us to reach outside that comfort zone.  This is why it's so important to remind yourself that you are in control of your decisions and actions.  Try using the 5 second rule in your life this week to get tasks marked off your list.  The perfect moment to get something done does not exist, so you might as well take that moment right now.   For missionaries or ministry leaders go check out fullyfundedacademy.com, nonprofitexecutiveclub.com for nonprofit leaders.  For more information about Mary Valloni, visit maryvalloni.com and to download our free Fundraising Freedom Roadmap, go to maryvalloni.com/roadmap.

I was so inspired by a question I got asked recently around the daily life of an entrepreneur.   I always like to compare entrepreneurship to roller coasters, but I do not think many people really talk about this concept.  It is often thought that when you are an entrepreneur, you will be on a rollercoaster to success, and the rollercoaster can change monthly / yearly.  However I strongly disagree, the rollercaster can be weekly or even daily!  that is entrepreneurship at its CORE! It is really true journey.  Today's episode is a serious self-love prep talk for all my fellow female entrepreneurs.  In this episode, I will be sharing all the details, and great tips so that you can take action right away.    Today I want you to hold your head high and listen to the 'GOLDEN' message in this episode.     ★/ The highlights of today's episode will be: How to move forward when you feel like you are sinking  What happens when things start to fail The real tea about entrepreneurship + The real deal about hard times  What to really do when your back is against the wall    ★/ To grab your mindset tool kit Pocket Guide, click  HERE!     ★/ Recommendation: Visit the official MBMPlatfrom.com, Join MBMMembership.com, and start strategically building your business     ★/ Follow The Scherise Saskia Podcast YT channel HERE!   ★/ Recommendations: Check out the book the power of now Check out the Mel Robins 5 second rule

Hello Happy Soulful People! Episode two of Ocean Minds Podcast Diving Deep Into The Minds of Soulpreneurs! I am Edlin!  There are many things we all want to be and do but there are far more things we do not want to do. This is the very equation of what makes us achieve or fail our goals! The balance is usually tipped by the things we actually do not want to do!   In this mindset Tuesday podcast, we listen to a short clip from Mel Robins. As usual, she puts it ever so clearly. Get real with yourself about what it is you are and are not willing to commit to!   Here are  the quick Takeaways for today! 1: Get real with yourself decide what you want!!! 2: Be honest with yourself on what it is you are willing to do for your goals.  3: Drop the goals you realise you are just not ready or in the right place, to commit too! This is so liberating! Like that cocktail she mentioned! 4: Once you succeed in the things are willing to do and accomplish them.... it is likely that you will decide to face new challenges and with a much better attitude, due to experience previous results! So focus on the ones you can achieve first!   As for me personally, I am not willing right now to go to the gym. Diet yes, gym no! Walking yes, running no! LOL I’m just being REAL!  Right now I’m willing to jump through hoops over hurdles to learn my podcasting and video craft!  So she talks about forwarding on to a year from now, what would you like to have achieved or accomplished? Whatever it is, you then need to begin incorporating, plans, habits, structures and disciplines in place that will get you to where you want to be. I know that I would like to have at least 100 episodes under my belt this time next year. That means, I will have to produce 2 episodes a week, although I originally set out to do one a week(if not alternatively!  The benefits of having 100 episodes compared to 50 or so, is that, 100 would mark a great anniversary and it will greatly accelerate my growth in terms of talent and finding my voice! It is absolutely a worthy goal to strive for! It requires that I get more disciplined with my time, productivity and planning. Hey, I am willing! But... I'm not willing to run or go to that gym!
