Let's get down to brass tax here: SMART goals are engineered for you to fail. Why? You'll want to listen to this episode to find out why. More than anything, those who go after what they want in life and don't care about if it's attainable and realistic are the ones we look up to the most. They are also the ones who get there faster than anyone else. If you want to be the best and get there as fast as possible, this episode is for you. I dive into how I set time-bound goals using 1 year (Campaigns) 3 month (Operations) and around 1 month (Projects) to create and sustain emotional buy-in, create outcomes, and identify key tasks to execute on to get me to where I want to go. Charlotte has grown her social media following (specifically Instagram) to over 50k followers and did it the right way.   No ass pictures. Just value based on real and tangible advice. We get into a lot of different topics that I know you will find extremely valuable but what I took away the most was that Charlotte's obsession comes from a deep desire to want to help people and help the best way that she can. Tired of not reaching your goals? Do you set resolutions every year and never reach them? This is the wakeup call you need. There's a different way to approach goals. It's called systems. What are systems? Systems allow you to have clarity and control over what you really want. So much of resolutions and goals set at the beginning of the year have no plans, no strategy, and no measures of improvement and success. They don't have time assessed to them daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly. There is no thought to possible automation opportunities or what will excite you when and if you reach the goal you set out for yourself. What if you did lose those 5 pounds? What's after that? What if you did make 6 figures or became captain of your team?  Now what? I have a saying: What else are you doing? To be an elite performer, you need to address these issues and solve them. Take a listen as I walk you through an example from my life so you can start to create systems in your life as well.   Time Stamps: (0:00) Intro and New Format (1:58) Goals Vs. Vision | The Elevation of Your Dreams (Ep. 7)

The biggest lie we've been told is we can't have everything we want. We've been told this from "authority" figures that never pursued their own dreams and desires and have passed that reckless advice down. There are too many examples of individuals who broke from the mold and achieved seemingly impossible feats in their life. Their body, mind, business, relationships, and money.   Steve Jobs, Dwayne Johnson, and Jamie Foxx to name a few had a powerful tool in their lives that helped them break from the normal and achieve greatness. That's what I am sharing with you today.    The power of vision allows you to not only gain clarity on what you truly want in life, but who you want to become. Identity shift to the person you want to become is the second step but first, you need to be very honest with yourself of what you truly want in life. The how comes later but first, you need a what and a why.    There will be setbacks and struggles in your life. Remembering who you are working to become and what is in store for you will allow you to endure the cost and pain associated with the growth. I hope you take a lot away from this episode as I share my struggles before crafting a powerful vision for my life and I share with you both my ultimate vision and my perfect day. I hope you are then propelled to create your own perfect day and start improving to reach that perfect day.    Time Stamps:   (0:05) Housekeeping (0:38) Rappflex Radio Standard (1:10) Vision (1:45) Starting with Awareness (3:47) Biggest Lie Told to Us (7:02) What Most People Do (9:40) Conscious vs Subconscious Mind (12:10) My Story with a Lack of Vision (20:25) The Moment (21:20) Quick Case Study (24:22) The Rules of This Exercise (26:07) My Vision (30:01) The Perfect Day Exercise (30:27) Guiding Questions (32:20) My Perfect Day (39:30) Email me Your Perfect Day! This interview is a re-release interview I did on the Strength N Mind podcast with my friend Sam Demma. Sam is a former soccer player out of Canada who's injuries sidelined and ultimately cut his promising career short. He didn't let that affect the rest of his life. He put a theory his world issues teacher provided him and put it into practice. He later shared that story on the TEDxYouth@Toronto stage a year after. He created and founded Pickwaste with his friend Dillion Mendes, which rapidly became a top environmental movement in Canada, eclipsing 70 cleanups and over 850 trash bags filled. Sam was named a top 25 environmentalist under the age of 25.   His mission now is to speak to youth through his own brand, helping them answer the question: "Can I make a difference?" Sam is just getting started. Listen in as we dive deep into his story surrounding soccer, his injuries, and what his purpose is now and going forward. Do you feel like there is a part of you that's missing? Maybe you don't feel whole or fully alive compared to your friends or someone you see on Instagram. Those people are able to articulate exactly what they are feeling and who they are and they have this confidence about them. Have you ever been envious of that confidence? That confidence stems from awareness and that is what today's episode is all about. Awareness, specifically self-awareness, allows you to show up confidently because you know yourself deeply and understand yourself. Yes, you are always growing and improving, but it's important to understand your baseline patterns, your habits, and your current beliefs. That way, you are able to dictate change and growth based on who you ultimately want to become. I believe so many of us walk around without truly knowing who we are because we haven't done the necessary reflection and work on ourselves.
