In today's episode of the Cured Collective Podcast, Joe talks with Jordan Dugger. Jordan is a Fitness and Business Coach, working closely with entrepreneurs and business enthusiasts and helping them master their strategy and create definitive results. In this episode, Jordan shares his process with expanding his own business and what are the important actions to take if you feel like you don't have a strategy at all. According to Jordan, it's extremely important not to be afraid of failing – when keeping and creating results – because failing it's what makes us grow. Also, in order to be successful in any area of life, we have to be comfortable with change and always learn from it. In addition, Jordan shares which biz lessons he has taken from 2021 and what are some exciting plans he has for 2022. Tune in! “So many people try to solve a problem before it actually exists. It's so much more effective to try to solve a problem when the constraint is in front of you, because then you're actually looking at it.” – Joseph Sheehey Key Highlights Jordan highlights the importance of not being afraid to fail in business, because failing always move us forward; The secret to evolve and make the business thrive with time is always being comfortable with change; It's more valid to focus on your business and how much it is progressing than to be paying attention on what the competition is doing; Jordan shares some of the lessons he has learned over the course of 2021 that you can also implement in your business. For most of us, we try as much to avoid failure without realizing that it prepares us for success. There is actually wisdom in failures. It becomes valuable when you learn lessons and use them to tread your path to victory. In this episode, Jordan shares what path he went through and the resourcefulness he has to have to be where he is now in life. He also talks about business lessons, and if you want to succeed as an entrepreneur, there has to be a shift that should happen in the way you look at sales that it is not all about getting but about giving. We need to understand that lead generation is not all about hard selling. It means more than that; it's about starting a purposeful conversation, and things will pick up from there. There is something to be had in telling stories. When you're genuine and authentic in the content you put out there, people connect. Fear of judgment is all in mind; for all you know, you're not the only one having those insecurities. When people know your story, they will relate to you, and a whole new story gets created from there. Jordan Dugger is one of the owners of Transform 4Ever Systems, a 7-Figure Online Fitness Coaching Company, that is known for solving the problems that other coaches fail. Along with that, he owns Impact Fitness Coaching Academy, a 7+ Figure All-In-One Accelerator for coaches, personal trainers, and health industry entrepreneurs to start, grow, and scale their businesses, all online. "And if you can shift your perspective around sales, like my goal is to make money to extract money, to get rather than be mission-centered. What I mean by mission-centered is aligning our sales process more around the idea that we're trying actually to create something of value. Actually pursuing somebody to provide the service that we offer means that you're saving somebody from potentially drowning. - Jordan Dugger What you will learn from this episode: 03:49 - Recounting his journey to success 07:01 - One important thing that he realized which is key to his fitness business success 09:17 - What is so important about resourcefulness? 12:12 - Shifting your perspective on the misconception about sales in general 15:55 - The two models of advertising and sales and how client acquisition works 20:20 - Demonstrating interest to your prospect and being creative at displaying that interest 22:58 - Establishing a personal and authoritative connection 24:41 - Telling stories versus giving facts 27:21 - What is so interesting about telling stories 32:19 - Of failures and not reinventing the wheel, but having those innovative shifts 38:00 - The fear of judgment and how to overcome it 41:55 - Challenges of having a wife as a business partner 43:49 - Compartmentalizing personal and professional aspects of their lives 44:49 - Either a cheerleader or fullback 47:45 - Lessons from his hurricane wedding 52:35 - Ways you can look at the world - which one are you? 54:58 - What makes live events powerful? He explains that taking personal responsibility for events in life and being accountable for whatever happens to you – be it good or not so good – has a direct impact on your work. It's important to be aware of this in order to, not only scale your business, but also personally grow with it. “We're in this environment where the news is presenting us with constant emotional based narratives and if you buy into that and allow that narrative to sink in, you're going to be so attached to that, and to break free from it… it's going to be really hard.” – Jordan Dugger In addition, Jordan talks about the circumstances our world is facing nowadays, the role of the media on this, and how we might be influenced by narratives that are being told out there. This kind of emotional based narratives can be a model for the way we, as individuals, conduct our personal lives. This is also intrinsically attached to the way we lead our businesses and the processes we use in decision making. Key Highlights Jordan shares his background; How an injury impacted Jordan's vision; Jordan explains his 3 ways to become more self aware; Leveling up and scaling your business; How to lead your business with systems and leadership; Distinguishing rational based vs. emotional based work decisions; About Jordan Dugger Jordan Dugger is a fitness trainer, entrepreneur and the founder of Impact Fitness Coaching Academy. His business and model of work were created for people craving time and income freedom that want to build successful businesses, while also developing that inner entrepreneur essence. He is also, alongside his wife, the host of The Fitness Business Podcast. “When you want to help people, you tell them the truth. When you want to help yourself, you tell them what they want to hear.” – Jordan Dugger Related Links The E-Myth Revisited by Michael E. Founder Jordan Dugger brings a wall of wisdom and insight to this conversation. But even at his incredibly young age, he has earned it at great cost. He's the co-founder of the Flow State of Mind podcast, T4Esystems and a world leading online academy for coaches & health professionals (IFCA). He joins Tim Bishop today on a deeply personal and healthy discussion on his life and how he developed himself into the person he is today, and how we can each shift our world into the one we want.
Today's episode was recorded in a hotel room with myself and 3 other fitness coaches I met for the first time at a Mastermind event in Ohio. We are all mentored by Erin Dimond and Jordan Dugger and after hanging out all day and getting to know each other we decided to sit down and share each others stories of how fitness has impacted our lives. We go down multiple rabbit holes and rants so strap in because this is a longer episode (about an hour) but I believe there is tons of value being a fly on the wall during an open and honest conversation with Austin Bagshaw, Madison Litchtfeld, Yari Rincon and myself. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.You can follow each of these coaches on Instagram at: @austinbagshaw@mads_gainz@yari_rincon@viewfromthesidelines_
In today's episode Jordan and Justin sit down and discuss different facets and levels of growth they've experienced over the past 3 years of friendship. I've been wanting to chat with Jordan for weeks, but we've had to reschedule a few times because he tested positive for COVID. He's only recently gotten better, so I was curious if he was going to be sluggish during our episode. Man, was I wrong. Jordan brought the fire as he talked about how he and his wife built their successful Impact Fitness Coaching Academy, how he plans to get into the mushroom business, how he incorporates visualization for success, advice for connecting with people you look up to, advice for connecting with other peers in your field (even during COVID), finding mentors and friends who level you up even when you can't see them in person, how to ask better questions, and much more. This one was crammed with helpful stories and applicable advice, so you get the best of both worlds in this awesome convo with Jordan. Enjoy! "You'd be surprised how much you can get done when you don't care who gets the credit." Such a powerful takeaway from the conversation with Jordan Dugger and Erin Dimond, fitness and nutrition coaches and hosts of the Flow State of Mind podcast. On today's show, we're diving DEEP into RELATIONSHIPS - the good, the bad, and the downright uncomfortable. I'm joined by my good friends Erin Dimond and Jordan Dugger. Some topics we cover today: -"priming" yourself for future relationships through loneliness -the toxic trope of the "typical" guy -lingering issues from past relationships -being a strong female within relationships and DATING a strong female -baggage and struggling with trust -faithfulness -is monogamy a choice? Is it natural? -open relationships -soul connections -why we're triggered by our partners and how to improve -what it TRULY means to be honest in a relationship and what it means to WANT your partner to be honest -being in a partnership where the female makes more money than the male -maintaining relationship health while running a business together -losing over $200,000 -keys to a healthy relationship --------- WHERE TO FIND ERIN AND JORDAN Jordan's IG Erin's IG Flow State of Mind Podcast IG Flow State of Mind Podcast IFCA Jordan's Website Erin's Website --------- WHERE TO FIND ME Instagram YouTube Website ---------
Jordan Dugger is the owner and founder of Dugg Aesthetics, a lifestyle coaching company. He is the Co-founder of Impact Fitness Academy, the 1-1 coaching program Transform 2Gether, and the co-host of The Flow State of Mind Podcast. In just two years, Jordan was able to go from a job in Corporate America to earning more than 20k per month coaching fitness clients online and has been invited to speak as an expert on evidence based coaching applications at a number of seminars and trainings. In this episode we dive into: Jordan’s toxic homelife growing up and how this helped shape his drive and motivation. How failed businesses, corporate america, and passionless jobs, led to Jordan burning the bridge between his fears of failing and creating his dream “job”. Overcoming the “middle class mindset” and limiting your time with people who are not accepting of your growth without judgement. How Jordan and his fiance found their passions and how you can find yours too. Jordan’s interest in bodybuilding and how this was introduced to him by his father. How Jordan and his fiance Erin landed on an MTV reality tv show, and how this tested their relationship and business boundaries. Strict morning routines, traveling, and how removing yourself from the everyday grind improves your flow state. The benefits of being business partners with his significant other, and the number one way he avoids conflict through communication. Jordan's biggest business struggle and how he has had to work to overcome this in the past few years. The importance of being self aware of the fact that not everyone is going to like you, and why once you realize this it will give you power and comfort in sharing your message and story. We are back for another round of the Coaches Corner featuring Sam Miller, William Grazione, Austin Current, and Jordan Dugger (aka the fittest of the group - Will's words). We wanted to discuss a controversial topic in part 1 of this 2 part discussion and that is performing enhancing drug use. They are widely used in the physique competition space so we wanted to bring an informative and open discussion. We've come across a lot of clients who have had these drugs pushed onto them without any context from other coaches so we want to shed some light on why and what to look for if you are in that situation. Stay tuned for part 2 releasing Wednesday where we discuss hydration, peaking with your training, and a lot more! Time Stamps: (0:00) Coache’s Corner Intro (3:25) Welcome Back! This episode with Brad Jensen had such a great response that we had to share it on our podcast as well! ________________________________________________________ What a great conversation with the one and only Jordan Dugger. We dug into some great topics (no pun intended) including supplements, marketing gimmicks and his views on today’s popular diets. We also talked about sustainable results and how shows like The Biggest Loser have skewed our views on weight-loss. Here is a case study we recommend reading that Jordan referenced concerning The Biggest Loser. To find out more about Transform 2gether, click here!
