Send us a textAre you a notary who cringes at the idea of networking mixers, small talk, or cold outreach? Same.I'm Bill Soroka, and in this episode of the Sign & Thrive Podcast, I peel back the curtain on how I built a multiple six-figure notary business—as a hardcore introvert. I'm not the “hide under the table” kind of introvert (okay, sometimes I am), but I am someone who needs a nap and some Golden Girls after too much peopling. If the idea of marketing yourself to estate planning attorneys makes you want to melt into your couch cushions, this episode is for you. And good news: your introversion isn't a problem—it's your unfair advantage. In this episode, you'll learn:Why introverts make exceptional notary entrepreneurs—and how to use your quiet strengths to win;How Warren Buffett and Bill Gates used their introversion to quietly dominate their industries; The three V's that define your dream attorney clients: Vision, Value, and Volume; The exact email strategy I used to start 98 real conversations with attorneys (that turned into 16 paying clients); Why you need a referral list before you ask for a referral—and how to build one using my free template;Where to find estate planning attorneys (hint: LinkedIn, bar association directories, Google, and more); My proven follow-up sequence that converts silence into opportunity; What to say in that first meeting—without pitching, posturing, or panic attacks; And how to clearly and confidently explain your services using John Ruhlin's “Big 4” Clarity Statement. This episode is part pep talk, part how-to guide, and 100% permission for you to market your notary business without pretending to be an extrovert. You don't have to be loud to build a thriving notary business—you just have to be thoughtful, consistent, and willing to send that first message. If you've ever told yourself, “I'm too introverted to market my business,” I challenge you to listen to this episode all the way through. Then, send one email. That's all. You'll be amazed what happens when you show up—not as someone else—but as you.Episode Resources:

Priya reveals the secret behind her impressive 90% sales close rate, offering a practical and no-nonsense five-step framework for success in sales calls. Selling Equals Serving – Learn how to shift your mindset from "selling" to "serving" by identifying your client's core problems and offering solutions. The 5-Step Sales Framework – Priya walks us through her tried-and-tested process for guiding prospects through a seamless and value-driven sales conversation: Step 1: Greeting and Setting the Stage – Skip the small talk and get straight to business. Setting the tone early creates clarity and establishes trust. Step 2: Triaging and Diagnosing Problems – Ask the right open-ended questions to pinpoint your client's real challenges and bottlenecks. Step 3: Validating and Reassuring – After listening, ensure you've correctly understood the client's pain points and offer reassurance that you've got the right diagnosis. Step 4: Creating a Roadmap – Provide a clear 90-day roadmap, outlining quick wins and solutions, even before they pay. Step 5: Offering Your Services – Confidently pitch your offer, whether it's a one-time setup fee or a retainer, with no pressure, focusing on solving the client's core problems. Overcoming Objections – Priya shares insights from her coaching days on how to tackle the three most common objections: lack of time, money, and the need for partner approval. Mindset Shift: Scarcity vs. Abundance – Most clients operate from a scarcity mindset. Learn how to handle objections and instill confidence in potential clients, guiding them towards making empowered decisions. Clean Energy Selling – Sales should come from a place of service, not pressure. Priya emphasizes the importance of approaching every sales conversation with an open mind and a genuine desire to help. We are starting something new in 2024, and that is having guests on the Born to Thrive Podcast. Our first guest is Dr. Julia Lerond Julia Lerond, PT, DPT is a former professional figure skater who transitioned into the medical field by getting her bachelor's degree in exercise science and psychology in 2012, continuing on to get her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2015. Through her own journey of transitioning from the demands of being an elite athlete to a college student and beyond, Julia has developed a passion for health and fitness in a much more relatable and sustainable way. She had the privilege to work on Royal Caribbean as a performer straight out of high school and directly after retiring from the elite side of figure skating which led her into a downward spiral of binge eating, gaining close to 50lbs in just 8 months during her contract. Due to this, she was not offered a second contract which ultimately led to her starting college and starting her health and wellness journey as an adult. ins Today, she loves working with her clients on body positivity as well as helping them get to their goals in a sustainable and healthy way. Through mindset changes and education, she hopes to bring a sense of joy and excitement into any wellness journey because moving towards a healthier version of yourself should be an amazing and happy experience!   (1:06) Intro (8:30) Discipline after retiring from figure skating (12:03) How can you go months without working out?  (16:00) Metabolism and activity as we get older (22:20) Staying active when it's cold and dark (27:00) How to be successful with your 2024 goals (37:45) Stop saying you "fell off" with your goals (40:00) Not a breakfast person  (46:40) Julia's day of eating (1:00:08) Finding a balance between drinking alcohol and health ------------------------------ Follow Julia on IG @drjulialerond Click Here to Apply to Work with Dr. Julia Lerond ------------------------------ Click Here to Apply for 1:1 Coaching with LWA Coaching Click Here to Purchase the Unposed Unbothered Journal! In the last episode, we talked about bridges. Specifically, messaging bridges that help guide your audience from where they are to where you want them to be. It's what really brings in sales! In this episode, I'm sharing behind-the-scenes coaching footage of me sitting down with two students and helping them create bridges for social media content and webinar content.   Listen in and hear me create bridges for Erika's business that helps entrepreneurial women grow their YouTube channels and Reana who helps burnt-out entrepreneurs get their time, energy & health back while 2-3xing their income.   While we discuss exactly what to talk about in your messaging, we cover what NOT to do as well – in fact, you'll hear what will be the death of your messaging (avoid it at all costs – it's way more common than you think). I talk a lot about strategies and systems on the podcast, and today I'm excited to bring you a way to see how to bring it all together.   Get to know our two students from this episode:   Erika Vieira is a marketing expert who specializes in growing female focused YouTube channels. Her podcast, the YouTube Power Hour, has featured over 400 of YouTube's popular female creators. Erika is the creator of the YouTube Bootcamp: a 6 month group coaching program that focuses on the creator first, not the YouTube algorithm. Her innovative method of prioritizing the creator from the inside out has proven to be highly successful, delivering massive growth for her students. Find out more about Erika here - erikavieira.net    Reana is a Master Certified Neurocoach, Doctor of Physical Therapy, and host of the Rewired to Thrive Podcast. She teaches service-based entrepreneurs how to eliminate burnout from their business while increasing their revenue by using brain based tools to help them put the systems and boundaries in place in order to create the time and financial freedom they started their business for.
