Bobby Hobert also known as “Bobbbaaaay” is a 24 years young go-getter. After graduating from Bentley University in 2016 unsure of what his passion was, he launched his podcast Purpose in the Youth focused on unfolding the stories of passionate people. He runs his YouTube channel, a second podcast called Breakfast is Served and continues to push himself to do the things he never thought were possible. Today I want to share with you guys + gals something special. This was originally created as a video which you can find on my YouTube channel by searching Bobby Hobert but I wanted to share it with those who might only listen to the audio format of the podcast. Today marks 2 years since I graduated college and when I think back to that moment it amazes me how far I’ve come since. This was by far one of the happiest moments in my life, I was getting a college diploma and it sure wasn’t cheap! It quickly changed into this big question, what do I do now? I had people around me who were getting 60k / 70k yearly salaries and I had nothing on the table, no clue what to do next except the idea of starting a podcast. It took me months to finally get in a rhythm where I didn’t feel so lost and things were slowly starting to come together. When I tell you the last two years have flown by, it’s been a blink of an eye and I haven’t regretted any of it. For those who might be graduating college, congrats! You’ve been awarded the golden ticket. You’ve been preparing for this moment the past 21/22 years of your life. This is the time to take the leap, this is the time to do the things you love, this is the time to figure out who you’re and what you want to spend the rest of your life doing. Going against the grain and chasing a passion is not going to be easy, I can promise you that but if you don’t go for it now, when will you ever time to? Believe in yourself, believe you have the ability to accomplish these crazy ass goals because YOU have what it takes. The time is yours, now go do it. As always, from the bottom of my bearded heart - thank you for all the support. Please head over to the Apple podcast app and write a 1 sentence review on what you think of the podcast after you hear this podcast. Over the past 73 episodes of this podcast he’s sat down with artists, DJ’s, producers, entrepreneurs, talent managers, makeup artists, photographers, videographers, travel bloggers etc breaking down their story and passion. Today guest host Steve Rush sits down and breaks down the story of Bobby “Bobbbaaaay” Hobert aka ya favorite bearded man. Chicopee, MA is where it all began and it was a great city for him to grow up in. His mother, father, sister and extended family have helped play a huge role in getting him to where he is today as they’ve served as mentors for him. When he was in 7th grade he got his first job working for his uncle which taught him work ethic and the value of a dollar bill which he still carries with him today. After graduating high school he spent 1 year at Lasell College before transferring to Bentley University where he graduated from in May of 2016. Finishing college, not wanting to go into the corporate world and unsure of what his true passion was he started Purpose in the Youth podcast August 31, 2016 and began talking to people that had found their passion. Now residing in Los Angeles a city that he dreamed of living in since he was a kid he continues to follow his dreams, jump on the things that interest him and documents the journey along the way. — Follow Bobbbaaaay on social media: Instagram: http://bit.ly/2Ap24ce Twitter: http://bit.ly/2hj6Ljm You can follow Steve here: Instagram: @Mopsikoff (https://www.instagram.com/mopsikoff/) Twitter: @MyBoySteve (https://twitter.com/MyBoySteve) Website: http://5starvintage.com Subscribe to our YouTube Channel for new interviews (and more) weekly: http://bit.ly/2zprpon Follow us on Soundcloud: http://bit.ly/2hcSBws Subscribe to iTunes: http://apple.co/2yE0u9l Follow us on social media: Instagram: http://bit.ly/2j82AHF
