Professor French Tells What Gen Z Can Teach All of Us! What happens when one of America's top legal minds steps back into the classroom—only to be schooled by Gen Z? New York Times columnist and Good Faith contributor David French joins Curtis Chang to reflect on what a year of teaching college students taught him about faith, over-parenting, and the future of American democracy. Together, they explore whether this rising generation is rejecting political tribalism in favor of ethical engagement—or simply afraid to speak up in polarized times. Could Gen Z's quiet shift reshape our fractured public square? In part two of our interview Arno Michaelis, we navigate the bizarre intersection of music, ideology, and redemption. If you've ever wondered how extremist movements actually work, this offers some great insight. Arno gives us the inside scoop on how a skinhead band like Centurion shifted 20,000 records whilst still getting royally ripped off by their label boss. We also chat about right wing ideology and symbolism, as Arno discusses how antisemitism serves as what "the connective tissue" that binds seemingly opposing extremist groups together. We delve into the psychological mechanics too. Taking in everything from Norse fantasy to Tolkien, as well as the very large psychological leaps bands like Skrewdriver had to take to justify playing rock n roll music and Jewish cabaret tunes. Arno also talks about how the music of the Beastie Boys was something of a saving grace as he exited the movement, and he tells us about how a MySpace message in the early 00s regarding his former band, Centurion, led him to reckon with the legacy of poison he created. Whilst also giving him the impetus to try to be a force for good in the world. Grab a cuppa and dive in. This week, host Basant Kumar is joined by independent journalists Tanzil Asif, Neetu Singh and Sagar Patel, who talk about working in mainstream media, why they quit it and decided to go independent. Legacy media, Tanzil says, only focuses on feeding their agenda rather than serving public interest, making a journalist morally corrupt. Neetu explains that mainstream media restricted her freedom to report because it lacked the guts to hold the government accountable. Some reporters, however, are just fooling people by pretending to be independent journalists, remarks Sagar. They talk of their challenges in opting to work in independent media after exiting mainstream media. Despite lack of resources, hurdles in reporting and problems in their establishing and running their organisations, they say their decision to quit legacy media was most satisfactory.Tune in.Timecodes00:00:00 - Introduction00:02:02 - Reasons for exiting mainstream media00:12:28 - Challenges for independent media00:23:24 - Hurdles for being independent journalist00:56:48 - RecommendationsRecommendationsNeetuPahalgam Attack में मारे गए Shubham Dwivedi की पत्नी Aishanya Dwivedi ने हमले के बारे में क्या बतायाSagar કણબી પટેલોના નાક વાઢવાની હચમચાવી દે તેવી કહાણી| Journalist Naresh Shah | Patidar Samaj History VideoShatranjTanzilCommon PeopleBAKKHO Documentary | A Pasmanda Muslim Story | बक्खो | पसमांदा मुस्लिम की कहानी | Bihar Caste CensusBasantWhat Killed Mukesh Chandrakar - The Reporters' CollectiveProduced and edited by Saif Ali Ekram, recorded by Anil Kumar.Complaining about the media is easy. By Mary Lindow As you settle in to listen to this podcast, maybe you're facing difficult times and you wonder how God can still have a plan for your messy, hurting, perhaps disillusioned life. What about your loved ones, or those in the neighborhood around you? There's so much brokenness that it can feel like anything you do to help is like a drop in the ocean. I certainly have had several moments this past season, months, days even, of being broken, disillusioned, angry, all the emotions that can go with hearing terrible stories of betrayal, clergy abuse, child abuse, adult children being estranged from parents, parents being estranged from their adult children, walking many from sadness over deep wounds from past relationships, festering with anger, guilt and shame. This service of working with broken people that God has called us to, (and me specifically these past couple of years as a Biblical pastoral Counselor), well, seeing and hearing the sadness, can wear you thin at times, and I go running to the feet of Christ over and over again, asking him to make sense of how humanity can be so vicious and destroy one another. Of course Jesus came to die for all of us, and in fact was broken, beaten, bruised and yes, he wept. So He knows the anguish and grief that can tow us under! The Lord has always been close to those who are crushed and broken, right from the very start. Brokenness Doesn't Distract Or Hinder God. He extends endless compassion and love to us, even when we are feeling absolutely crushed. When we don't want anyone to see our brokenness, our shame, He is always close, never with judgment but always with kindness. The kind of kindness that heals. The question is: “Does brokenness have any purpose?” Or is it a hindrance to God's plans and promises? Can God Turn Our Brokenness Into Something Beautiful? In Matthew 26, Jesus had His last meal with the disciples before He went to suffer on the cross. Now, even though I've read this passage many times, something rich recently stood out. “As they were eating, Jesus took bread, blessed and broke it, gave it to the disciples, and said, ‘Take and eat it; this is my body'. (Matthew 26:26). First, Jesus took the bread, Then He blessed it, And then He broke it. Now, I thought to myself … “Why would He not first take the bread, break it and then bless it?” There's A Purpose To Why Jesus Did It This Way. The blessing comes before the breaking, because this was the theme of Jesus' life: Jesus was blessed by the Father and the Spirit during His baptism (Matthew 3:16-17). Jesus endured the brokenness on the cross (Luke 23:26-39). And, Jesus conquered death through His resurrection and then ascended to the right hand of the Father. This is the greatest blessing for believers because we are united with Christ and fully restored to God! (Ephesians 1:20; Ephesians 2:4-6). Blessed Then Broken Then Blessed again. That's the pattern. Maybe You're In A Season Where You Feel More Broken Than Blessed. I understand. But because God has blessed us with His Son, every ounce of brokenness we experience on this side of eternity is pointing us toward the blessing of heaven, where we will be reunited with Christ, if we trust in Him. God also redeems our current brokenness as a means of blessing others who are also broken (2 Corinthians 1:4). We Can Know With Confidence That When We Endure Brokenness And Pain, There Isn't An Ounce Of Our Brokenness That Is Not Under The Blessing Of God! This Is A Hard Truth To Grasp. It may even be something we want to reject because it feels unfair or even cruel! I agree that it can feel that way. Even Jesus Himself agrees. Just a few verses after the Last Supper, He prayed in the garden of Gethsemane and cried out, “I am deeply grieved to the point of death” (Matthew 26:38a, CSB). We don't have to dismiss our feelings when it comes to our brokenness. Even Jesus felt the full range of His emotions before His most broken moment. We can come before God in humility with our raw, honest emotions. We can bring our brokenness to Him. We can trust that Jesus is with us, NOW. And, we can look to the cross and the empty tomb, knowing that though we experience brokenness, Jesus overcame it. Brokenness Isn't The End For Us. Blessed, then broken, then blessed again. Lord, give us the grace to endure this reality. I don't think it's a coincidence that Jesus, who was blameless and pure, had scars that remained after his resurrection. Jesus' scars were not a flaw. They're a reminder that even the Savior of the world has experienced brokenness. They also give us a tangible answer to our doubts, like they did for Thomas. In a moment of faithlessness, doubt and brokenness, God meets Thomas with compassion and kindness. Jesus' Scars Are A Demonstration Of The Lengths He Went To For Us, a sacrifice given to restore hope in a broken world full of broken people. And the same hands that were nail-scarred? They have our very names written on them as a promise that God will not ever forget or forsake us (Isaiah 49:16). Just like a scar, they're permanently written as a reminder of God's commitment to us, no matter how broken we feel. Very Few See This Bleak Moment For What It Really Is. It's a chance to see their need for something that is beyond themselves. But my friend, this can be a moment where the soul can cross over from its own empty silence, into an expected quiet that is alive with His presence. It silences the anguish, the anxious restlessness into a calm and still place of peace. It's as if the soul finds that in this dark place, there is a secret well of sweet water, and it springs up and overflows with light and life. LEARNING TO PASS INTO THIS PLACE OF THE SPIRIT AND ALLOWING GOD TO KEEP YOUR SOUL IN REFRESHING SILENT TRANQUILITY IS A TRUE ACT OF THE MATURING BELIEVER. God Put You On Earth In Your Exact Place For His Specific Purpose, and you are living in that purpose, even when you don't know it. Your soul may be grumbling and resisting, but you are living the story that God is ready to reveal to you. God is a lot bigger than you expect Him to be. He's a lot bigger than your circumstances. He is a God of detail. He is deeply involved in the small details of your life, but He has a "bigger yes" for you. Your true glory is the revelation of His splendor, his amazing ability to create redemptive “Resurrection moments” revealed in you day by day. In 1 Peter 1:6. It says, "In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials." As Jesus Is Revealed In You, You Can Rejoice No Matter What. The Display Of His Glory Often Comes Through Your Wounds. Your dark nights and cries of longing are lovingly heard, and as His bright light dawns, your grief contrasts with His glorious joy. In brokenness, God works in you something beautiful, deep, and solid to offer others. You are developing inner strength as you are being blessed, broken, and given as an offering in your trials. True strength comes from your desperate need of God. You are a joy to Him as you offer yourself as a representative of His sufficiency. Paul said He wanted to know Christ and be conformed to the fellowship of sharing His sufferings, knowing there's a resurrection coming. (Phil. 3:10). Know that your Father created you for this time, for these very circumstances. He knew exactly what would be happening in your life as you are living it right now. He knows the impact for which He is preparing you, that still awaits you. Be Filled with his Grace and hope to lean into the purpose that you were create for, in spite of difficult people, through hard circumstances, and through tough challenges. Your Purpose, My Purpose Is In The Process. We won't get there overnight. We won't mysteriously wake up with it one morning. But today we are closer than yesterday, and tomorrow we will be closer than we are today. Be at peace in Him to know these things, and rejoice in Him. HE IS ALIVE! We Are Not Alone. Let's Pray Together, Dear Lord, Sometimes I feel overwhelmed by how painful earthly brokenness can feel. Please help us, help me remember that you Jesus are our greatest blessing. You are with us now with me now, as we face hardship and grief and sadness and await a day when you will make all things new. Give me strength, give those that are listening strength as we long for this day, and we ask this in the name of the Resurrected King of Heaven, Jesus Christ, The Messiah. Amen. I Know That Many Of You Are Going Through Many Things In Your Own Lives and there is so much going on around us everywhere right now as the Lord is more than shaking his church. He is exposing so many uncomfortable things, but what he is really doing is bringing his people back to a place to where HE alone is enough, his word alone is light and life, strength and guidance, no matter how difficult or dark the times can be. His word will penetrate past all of that panic and bring us daily comfort. I'd like to call it daily bread since we're on the subject of talking about bread, and remember because Christ was the bread of life and he gave it to us, and since we've given our lives to him, we are now bread of life to others with whatever we speak out of our mouth in the name of Jesus. It has to be in accuracy and mimicking the way he lived and walked. If it isn't, then there's going to be difficulty there's going to be pain. It's going to cause pain. It's going to cause difficulty. So I Encourage You, If You're Running And Hiding or if you're trying to protect yourself from something that you've done that you know needs to come out into the light, run to Jesus, then tell the truth and get the help that you need. It won't be easy, but that clawing horrible feeling of waiting for the shoe to drop will end, and the enemy will no longer have a foothold in your mind. For Those That Are Suffering Because Of The Behaviors Of Others and you know that there just doesn't seem to be an answer or an end in sigth, and certainly no vindication. I encourage you to not back away and to stand where God has you, but don't grow bitter and don't look for revenge. This is when we take it back into our own power at our own strength. I Bless You Today! I encourage you to get before the Lord and ask him to show you “the way” that he has for you during these times where he is maturing you, maturing his bride, and it is all for the glory of the ONE who laid down that entire greatness so that we would have an access to return to heaven. Okay, sweet one, let's talk about the grand lie of having a purpose. Because hasn't everyone, at some point, stared into their organic kale salad and wondered, "WHY am I here?"Really, isn't that THE question? We're all chasing that deeper something, the elusive unicorn of purpose, because, well, we think it equals happiness. Glitter cannons and rainbows!Basically, aren't we all just hunting for joy through our jobs, our love lives, and maybe that overpriced yoga retreat? Because let's be honest, if those things led to misery, we'd be binge-watching Netflix instead. (Okay, some days we do both.)So, how do you actually find this magical life purpose? If you boil down every self-help book ever written (and I've read a LOT), two ideas bubble to the surface, like so much kombucha. They create two distinct, shall we say, *vibes* about Life.Vibe #1: Purpose is “Out There!”This is the story we're constantly sold, the narrative with all the bells and whistles. It's the idea that purpose and happiness are about *doing* and *getting*.What exactly are you supposed to be getting?Well, according to the marketing gurus (who are probably sipping martinis on a yacht somewhere), it's always - More! Better!More experiences, more influence, a passive income stream that makes your eyes water, a better house with a walk-in closet for your shoes, a better job that feeds your soul AND pays the bills, better sex (because, duh), and for the truly enlightened, a better, more Instagrammable spirituality. It's always *better* than what you've got right now, darling. But here's the cosmic joke: More and Better *never* actually deliver. As that wise old grump Ecclesiastes put it: "Meaningless! Meaningless! Everything is meaningless! But…life is still amazing.” (Even he couldn't help but throw in an "amazing" at the end!)We all kinda know this, right? We feel it in our bones after every online shopping spree. Still, those clever ads keep whispering promises. So, we jump back on the hamster wheel, convinced *this time* it'll be different. A new job! A soulmate who understands our obsession with miniature dachshunds! A truly transformative experience involving a llama! The catch? It's always a future promise. "Once I _______, then I'll find purpose/happiness/meaning."Once I quit my soul-crushing job, I'll finally be happy.Once I meet Mr./Ms. Right, then I'll know what love REALLY is.The future, my friend, is perpetually "tomorrow." That's the lie behind Vibe #1. The “hedonic treadmill” will leave you exhausted and feeling slightly used. Vibe #2: Your Purpose and Happiness are *Here, Now* Because Honey, *You ARE* the Purpose. The mind really throws a tantrum at this one based on how we've been programmed to have a “PURPOSE.”What if the truth is ridiculously simple: You *are* your purpose? You're here to know and be your glorious, messy, authentic Self as you cast your VISION and allow the listening to answer your CALLING (more on this on my next series of purpose). Seriously, pause for a moment and let that sink in.You're here to express your utterly unique, wonderfully weird, creative Self fully, freely, and fearlessly.Everything else such as your creativity, your relationships, your questionable fashion choices – are just sparkling byproducts of you being *you*.Knowing and being yourself? That's the answer to "What is my highest purpose and the source of my deepest freakin' joy?"The hitch? We've forgotten who we are. From childhood, we get handed a cookie-cutter mold for the "Good Life" who to be, what to want, what success looks like. So, we spend our lives trying to squish ourselves into that mold, developing a seriously messed-up case of mistaken identity. Then BAM! Quarter-life crises! Mid-life meltdowns! (It's all very dramatic, really.) So, how do you start?Embrace the Disillusionment, Darling. If you're feeling a little… blah about life, congratulations! You're right where you need to be. Disillusionment is inevitable. We no longer grasp to who we thought we were, and the one “purpose” we have in this life - and feeling that pressure!Even if you achieve all the things, the shine wears off. (That's just physics.)Own it. There's wisdom in that “blah” feeling. The pain of disillusionment can unlock a whole new, glittery world of freedom and possibilities. Why?Disillusionment means shedding the illusions. Seeing through the B.S. The cultural story that says purpose is “out there” is just a cleverly disguised sales pitch. You've checked the boxes, achieved the goals. But how long did it last? How long before you were chasing the next spiritual high?Spiritual goals are fabulous, but notice how we're always trying to *escape* those uncomfortable feelings. We launch projects, start cleanses, binge-watch cat videos. But eventually, we're back to the same damn questions.Wherever you go, there you are (and your existential baggage). So, you might as well embrace it.Disillusionment is an invitation. Like a pang of hunger, it's your True Self nudging you toward the truth.Look around. Mental illness is on the rise. Loneliness is an epidemic. People are quietly quitting their lives. Clearly, something's gotta give. The way we work, the way we live, the way we define "purpose"… it's all crumbling. That old story that purpose is “out there” keeps us stuck. That's the real question, isn't it? Who are you?Or, more accurately, *what* are you?Time to reframe this, Darling. What Is Your Vision and Soul Calling?A Vision is the art of seeing life's possibilities unfold—a profound and intuitive process that bridges the gap between your inner truth and the external world. It invites you to see not only the road ahead but also the unseen opportunities that lie along your path. Unlike conventional purpose driven vision, which often confines itself to specific, tangible goals, a calling embraces the unknown and empowers you to trust in the unfolding of your life's purpose. It is both a lens and a compass, helping you navigate toward your authentic self. The roots of the word “vision” are steeped in ancient wisdom. Derived from the Proto-Indo-European WEID, meaning “to see” or “to know,” the concept of vision transcends time and space. It reminds you that seeing is not merely a physical act but a deeper knowing—a connection to clarity and purpose that originates from within. THEREFORE. The vision Creates the PATH. Your Calling, is your Life's pursuit of multiple variations as a creator - offering insight and guidance that arises organically from your inner self, rather than being dictated by external expectations.Kassandra
Garth Heckman TDAgiantSlayer@gmail.com The David Alliance The Journey Away: Understanding Why Individuals Leave the Christian Faith Understanding the Journey Away from Faith Faith deconstruction, within the context of Christianity, refers to a process where individuals critically examine and potentially reject the religious beliefs they once held as true…. I don't believe it is a critically examined decision. I think 100% of the time it is emotional. Remember what Fatigue makes cowards out of all of us. Vince Lombardi… I feel it is the same way when we walk away. We become fatigued in our walk. We let the struggles of life beat us up and drain us. We want a quick fix, we want a “feel good moment”, we have dissapointments… but they are all based on our feelings. Seeds of Doubt and Disillusionment start out as feelings from things that did not go our way. One significant factor involves negative experiences with the church itself. The role of parental influence and the strength of religious reinforcement during childhood also play a critical part in the development and retention of faith. If Mom and Dad do not have an active vibrant and powerful walk with God… you are more prone to walk away or at least never dive in deep. Moreover, higher education and exposure to diverse perspectives can introduce substantial challenges to established religious beliefs. The experience of being challenged with new ideas and concepts that contradict religious teachings, often encountered in college or university settings, is a significant factor in the rejection of religious beliefs. deconversion process. The Weight of Experience: How Personal Struggles Can Erode Faith Personal experiences, especially those involving suffering and disappointment, can significantly erode an individual's faith. Trauma, loss, and the perception of unanswered prayers often prompt individuals to question their relationship with God and the tenets of their Christian belief. Similarly, the experience of perceived unanswered prayers can lead to feelings of doubt and abandonment, or question the efficacy of prayer itself and the nature of God's involvement in the world. Intellectual Challenges to Christian Beliefs Intellectual challenges pose a significant hurdle for some individuals in maintaining their Christian faith. Conflicts between religious dogma and scientific understanding, particularly concerning the origins of the universe and life (e.g., evolution versus creationism, the age of the earth) , also contribute to a shift away from faith. Furthermore, the intellectual struggle with the problem of evil – The Social Landscape: Influence of Community and Culture on Faith Social and cultural factors wield considerable influence on an individual's faith journey and can significantly contribute to the decision to walk away from Christianity. Interactions with people holding different beliefs can challenge the exclusivity claims often made by Christianity. Emotional and Psychological Aspects of Faith Deconstruction The process of faith deconstruction is often accompanied by a complex array of emotional and psychological experiences.Feelings of guilt may arise from questioning or doubting long-held beliefs, often deeply ingrained by religious teachings that emphasize unwavering faith. This internalized pressure can lead to significant anxiety and the fear of divine punishment or social ostracism. Phases of Transition: Understanding the Stages of Moving Away from Faith Individuals moving away from their Christian faith often go through a series of stages or phases. The process typically begins with initial questioning and doubt, often triggered by specific events, intellectual challenges, or personal struggles. This initial phase can be marked by cognitive dissonance and a struggle to reconcile emerging uncertainties with existing beliefs. Following this, individuals may enter a stage of exploration, actively seeking out alternative perspectives and critically evaluating religious doctrines. This involves intellectual engagement with viewpoints that differ from their religious upbringing and a willingness to examine the foundational tenets of Christian belief. Some would say that the process of walking away from God is a multi faceted process with many limbs and tentacles and can happen in many many ways… I think it is more simplistic than that…. I believe it truly comes down to The Impact of Isolation from other believers. We see people all the time who become separated and secluded from others and that is the first step to walking from their faith. I don't just mean alone, but alone with the wrong people. Isolation causes inflammation of ones of ones information. Meaning when we see only one side of life, problems, religions, and we isolate ourselves form solid Christian relationships - these things become inflamed and infected in our psyche and soul and spirit. Slowly killing us. Why is scripture so strategic in continuing to meet as believers and that we are a body… because God in his infinite wisdom knows that isolation kills us. Stay plugged in, stay in church, stay in your bible study, stay in your Xn friends lives.

In my “hippie conversion” episode I ended with the fact, that Thomas and I, couldn't believe we had become Christians literally overnight. We prayed together, that Jesus would forgive our sinful hearts, and our sinful ways. In those days we would have said “it blows our minds.” It was a unique experience, that both of us, heard the gospel message at the same time. Then laying in our sleeping bags, on the wooden floor of the dining room, we decided to pray. The men told us that Jesus is alive, and that he is the truth, and the only way to God. It was the first time we had met these guys, but we believed them. Before we went to sleep, Thomas said to me, ”We have been searching, and have tried everything else, so I guess we should try Jesus.” The man who did the most talking that night, was named Tomas. He told us about his search to know God. He had grown up in a Jewish family, but hadn't found the truth. I could relate to his story, because I had grown up in a Christian family, and was also searching. He said that when he found Jesus, he knew that his search was over. Of course I knew who Jesus was, but he said that if we give our lives to Jesus, we will never be the same. Our conversation was an intimate discussion, that took place late at night by candlelight, in the communal dining room. I was heavily pregnant, and uncomfortable, sitting on the hard redwood bench at the table. But hearing that Jesus is the light of the world, was so exciting that I didn't care about any discomfort. I had no idea though, that our baby would be born the next night, plus no worries, that we didn't have a place to live yet. The spiritual condition of our souls, and the physical circumstances of our lives, was about to change in a radical way!

Between 2013 and 2023, cultivated meat companies raised a total of nearly $3 billion. In 2020, Singapore approved the world's first cultivated meat products, with the U.S. and Israel following close behind. But head to the meat department of any American grocery store today, and you won't find cultivated meat for sale. After short-lived restaurant tasting menus in the U.S., it's no longer available. Distribution in Singapore is growing but small, and no products have launched in Israel yet. So what happened to the high hopes for cultivated meat? And what comes next for the industry? In this episode, Shayle talks to Isha Datar, executive director of New Harvest, a non-profit focused on developing research in the industry. She has written blog posts arguing that the industry is in the start-up hype cycle's “trough of disillusionment.” She calls for focusing on basic research, targeting high-value products, and even adopting a different name — cellular agriculture — to signal a shift toward a broader set of biotech products and techniques. Shayle and Isha cover topics like: What went wrong with the first-generation startups focused on low-value, whole-meat products like beef and chicken Persistent challenges in the industry, like the siloing of expertise, scarcity of research funding, and lack of standardization Why she's hopeful about a more diverse second generation that's focused on high-value products like sashimi and foie gras and biotech ingredients like fetal bovine serum and cell culture media The cellular agriculture cost stack and the $30,000 batch of cookies Basic research, shared resources, and the standardization needed to bring down costs Recommended resources New Harvest: Where Are We On the Hype Cycle? Part I and Part II The Counter: Lab-grown meat is supposed to be inevitable. The science tells a different story. The life of Michael Parenti is truly extraordinary, as he witnessed two significant cultural movements that changed the word. Growing up in Malibu, he went to school with the likes of Sean Penn and Charlie Sheen, met a young Madonna before she was an international star, hung out in Bob Dylan's house, and saw live acts like Nirvana and Red Hot Chilli Peppers long before MTV made them famous. As an internet entrepreneur, he became involved with the Bitcoin Foundation and also saw the early days of Ethereum. He attended hundreds of events, spoke with some of the people who are completely unapproachable today, and found himself in the middle of something magical, naive, and revolutionary. In this episode, we talk about the backstage politics that Michael Parenti witnessed and what it was like to believe in the cyhpherpunk dream more than a decade ago. In this episode of That Solo Life, co-hosts Karen Swim, APR and Michelle Kane engage in a lighthearted yet serious discussion about the common misconceptions about public relations (PR) and the challenges faced by PR professionals and the businesses they serve. There are things that PR simply cannot fix. Karen and Michelle share their experiences with clients who have high expectations, believing that PR can be a magic bullet for their failing businesses. While PR can certainly help, it cannot replace the need for a solid business foundation, infrastructure, and consistent effort. Karen highlights the issue of companies that underestimate the value of PR, especially during leadership changes. New CMOs may not recognize the critical role PR plays in maintaining brand reputation and driving customer trust. Without a partnership between PR and marketing, businesses risk losing out on valuable opportunities. Michelle adds that PR cannot compensate for a lack of effort from clients. We need their input and collaboration to create effective strategies. The misconception that PR is a "set it and forget it" service leads to disappointment and missed opportunities. There must be open communication and consistent engagement to achieve the best results. In addition to navigating these challenges, Karen and Michelle express concern for the well-being of PR professionals who are feeling burned out and disillusioned. The lack of communication and feedback from potential clients can be disheartening, and listeners are urged to foster better communication practices. In closing, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to our listeners for their support throughout the year. We encourage everyone to approach their PR efforts with an open mind and a clear understanding of how collaboration can lead to success. We wish everyone happy holidays and look forward to continuing this journey together in 2025, sharing insights, laughter, and valuable information. Thank you for tuning in to That Solo Life!
