//The Wire//2300Z August 14, 2025////ROUTINE////BLUF: DC CLEANUP CONTINUES AS ACTIVISM INCREASES THROUGHOUT THE CITY. TOTAL POWER OUTAGE STRIKES LARGE REGIONAL HOSPITAL IN UTAH.// -----BEGIN TEARLINE------HomeFront-Virginia: Multiple police officers were injured/wounded while attempting to serve warrants in Gretna last night, which led to a prolonged standoff. The suspect, who has been identified as James Andru Lehnerd [sic], was initially wanted for trespassing and brandishing a firearm, and as police arrived to serve the warrants Lehnerd engaged them. 3x officers were wounded and/or injured by flying debris, but none were hit with bullets. Lehnerd surrendered to police after a few hours.Utah: This morning the Intermountain Medical Center near Salt Lake City suffered a catastrophic power outage, with both the primary source of electricity failing along with backup generators. Patients needing critical life-support devices were immediately evacuated to other hospitals, and this afternoon local media reported that repairs were made to allow the hospital to operate in a limited capacity on backup generators.Analyst Comment: It is exceptionally rare for any Level 1 trauma center to lose power like this, but even more rare is the failure of backup generators designed from the ground up expressly for this type of emergency. This is also not a small clinic, but a VERY large hospital that provides emergency care for much of the entire region.Washington D.C. - Anti-crime initiatives continue as before, with several arrests being announced over the past few days. Yesterday evening, a man was arrested after assaulting ICE agents during a downtown immigration raid. This morning the DoJ identified this individual as Sean Dunn...a DoJ employee who was subsequently fired this morning.Analyst Comment: Regarding these policing efforts, mostly low-level criminals have been rounded up, or general miscreants who the feds could only grab on "illegal gun" charges or other dubious means. National Guard soldiers have been observed taking up positions around the city, and so far have mostly served as a target for activists to scream at. Cleanup operations continue around the city with little fanfare, and so far the general plan has been to dismantle homeless camps around the city, with the inhabitants housed in dedicated facilities or mental health/rehab clinics as needed.-----END TEARLINE-----Analyst Comment: Throughout the international community, there is growing sentiment that tomorrows meeting between Russia and the United States may result in things falling into place very rapidly. What the outcome of this meeting will be is anyone's guess, but many European leaders have issued statements of concern, indicating that many world leaders seem to think that this meeting will hammer out the details of a peace agreement. Several European leaders have assured their populations that there will be no territory-swap terms discussed during this meeting, however the fervor by which statements have been made have undermined their efforts at narrative control. In other words, when a dozen European Heads of State make multiple statements that the US won't allow Ukraine to be carved up...and they make these statements over and over again, one might be inclined to think this is exactly what's going to happen. Either way, the ball is in Russia's court. American sanctions have done absolutely nothing but strengthen Russia's economy, simply because most of Europe itself relies on Russia in some form or other. So threatening to sanction Russia if the meeting doesn't go well is a farce. On Russia's end, the world is changing, and it is easy to surmise that the next large-scale conflict may take place in the Far East...Taiwan. Since this is mostly up to Putin, he himself is very clearly interested in solving this issue decisively; Russia does not want to have to fig

Trump Mops Up DC: The Federal Cleanup Begins President Trump is taking the broom — and the National Guard — to Washington D.C. in one of the boldest law-and-order moves of his presidency. By federalizing the D.C. police and sidelining the mayor, Trump is aiming to scrub the capital clean of its crime crisis. But is this a necessary restoration of order or an overreach of federal power? In this episode of Wake Up America, Austin Petersen breaks it all down with hard facts, sharp wit, and no-nonsense analysis. Segments: AI Entrepreneurial Revolution — Why the future belongs to the early adopters. Trump's DC Takeover — What it means for the Constitution and the rest of America. Camellia Peterson on Lila Rose's “men don't need sex” post and the Supreme Court challenge to Obergefell. Senator Nick Schroer on marijuana rescheduling and law & order. Bonus Content — Mini-documentary at $75 goal, and Defense Against the Dark Arts with the Magic Mirror at $100 goal.
Guest Pastor Mark Biltz, El Shaddai Ministries, joins to discuss ongoing battle with Israel and Hamas. Discussion of the future of the Gaza strip...and is the move Biblically prophesized? Discussion of the cultural shift in the US, a reigniting of faith, and propaganda within the public education system. Day one of federalizing DC. Criminals arrested in mass on first night of national guard and local law enforcement. Are we seeing the collapse of Democrat and liberal policies within large cities, and will it force other cities to change their own policies?

Story #3: An NFL kicker just booted a 70-yard field goal, albeit in a pre-season game. Will breaks down what this could mean for the game. Interview with Gordon Robb, CEO of ESGold Corp.Recording date: 30th July 2025ESGold Corporation has positioned itself as a unique investment opportunity in the precious metals sector, combining environmental remediation with near-term production potential. The company is focused on reprocessing toxic tailings from the historic Montauban mine, located 80 kilometers west of Quebec City, transforming environmental liabilities into economic value.Under new leadership from CEO Gordon Robb, who joined in July 2025 with a background in fixed income trading and resource sector experience at Scottie Resources, ESGold has identified a compelling low-risk development opportunity. The company has quantified approximately 12,000 ounces of gold, one million ounces of silver, and significant mica deposits across six tailings piles representing over a century of mining activity dating back to 1912.The operational strategy emphasizes measured scaling, beginning with a 500 tons per day pilot plant before expanding to the fully permitted 1,000 tons per day capacity. With existing infrastructure including a steel building and established permits, the capital requirements remain modest at just $6 million in capital expenditures and $2-3 million in operating expenses. This low-capex model offers a rapid payback period of less than one year according to previous assessments.Beyond immediate tailings processing, ESGold sits on what management describes as a "wildly underexplored" VMS deposit extending to 1,200 meters depth. The company plans to self-fund future exploration through cash flow generated from tailings operations, eliminating typical dilutive financing challenges facing junior exploration companies."The market seems to have an appetite for cash flow. Market regulators will investigate illegal advertising activities.地方当局已接到指示,指导平台加强监督,并指示医院监督医务人员在网上的行为,对违规行为进行处罚。市场监管机构将调查非法广告活动。At a recent news conference, Hu Qiangqiang, a spokesman for the National Health Commission, said common violations by doctors who are also influencers include directing followers to offline services, offering illegal online consultations, selling products via livestreams and prescribing overpriced medications.在最近的一次新闻发布会上,国家卫生健康委员会发言人胡强强表示,医生作为影响者的常见违规行为包括引导追随者使用线下服务、提供非法在线咨询、通过直播销售产品以及开出高价药物。"Patients must first undergo offline diagnosis and receive a clear medical assessment before pursuing follow-ups through qualified online hospitals," Hu said, urging the public to remain cautious.胡说:“患者必须首先接受线下诊断,并接受明确的医疗评估,然后才能通过合格的在线医院进行随访。”他敦促公众保持谨慎。Among China's 1.07 billion internet audio and video users, 92 percent have viewed health education content on short-video platforms, and 63 percent consume it regularly, according to a report analyzing 150,000 health science videos posted by 14,700 social media accounts between 2023 and 2024.根据一份分析2023年至2024年间14700个社交媒体账户发布的15万个健康科学视频的报告,在中国10.7亿互联网音频和视频用户中,92%的人在短视频平台上观看过健康教育内容,63%的人经常消费。Produced by researchers from Fudan University and Tianjin Normal University, the report found that surgery is the most frequently featured medical specialty online. Respiratory diseases — particularly lung nodules and lung cancer — as well as thyroid and breast nodules, tend to draw high traffic.复旦大学和天津师范大学的研究人员发布的这份报告发现,手术是网上最常见的医学专业。呼吸系统疾病,尤其是肺结节和肺癌,以及甲状腺和乳腺结节,往往会吸引大量交通。While some doctors have employed entertaining approaches to engage audiences, the report warns of rising homogeneity and content that stokes fear about certain diseases. It also highlights growing concerns about AI-generated medical content, citing risks to patient privacy and public trust.虽然一些医生采用了有趣的方法来吸引观众,但报告警告说,同质化和内容的增加会引发人们对某些疾病的恐惧。它还强调了人们对人工智能生成的医疗内容日益增长的担忧,理由是患者隐私和公众信任面临风险。Wang Fan, a professor at the Fudan Development Institute and a co-author of the report, said online health science communication has reached a stage where regulatory intervention is needed to curb malpractice and ensure sustainable development.复旦大学发展研究院教授、该报告的合著者王帆表示,网络健康科学传播已经到了需要监管干预的阶段,以遏制医疗事故,确保可持续发展。licensed physiciansn.执业医师/ˈlaɪsənst fɪˈzɪʃənz/malpracticen.玩忽职守;渎职/ˌmælˈpræktɪs/
