In this continuing study I take a look at the Rapture Doctrine. Is this a Pre-Trib, as taught in most main stream Churches are do Christians go through the Tribulation Period? I compare Thessalonians to Matthew 24 along with Revelation. I venture into Paul's writings to explore what he has to say, along with what Yahweh says in Ezekiel. I also ask the listeners to grab a pencil and paper as we create charts for comparison as we get deeper into this study. In this Part 55 I continue our study in this Matthew 24 verse 43, however I go to Rev, 17:12I do a quick recap on what we have learned about this so called pre-trib rapture doctrineI go back to Matthew 24 verse 3 to the 3 questions that His disciples asked HimTake note that there is NOT ONE VERSE that we covered so far that describes a Pre-Trib Rapture! Rev. 17:12Back to Matthew 24:4545 This passage is, in fact, “a parable,” though it is not expressly so called. The design is to show that Yahshua Messiah's disciples should act as if they were each moment expecting his return. This he illustrates by the conduct of a servant who did not expect his master soon to return, who acted with great impropriety, and who was accordingly punished. Who, then, is a faithful and wise servant ... = ‘doo'-los' From ‘deh'-o'; a slave The question is directed to His disciples, which are you and me! By the conduct of a faithful and wise servant Yahshua intends to denote a faithful Christian, a servant of Yahweh, or a teacher of religion. Whom his lord = ‘koo'-ree-os' His master. Over his household = His family. Christian ministers are the servants of Yahweh appointed over the church, the family of Yahshua Messiah, 1Thess. 5:12-13; 1Corin. 3:5; 4:1-2; 12:28. Meat in due season = ‘trof-ay' "Meat" being put by Figure of speech Metonymy (Me-ton´-y-my The Change of one Noun for another Related Noun) (of Adjunct; a thing (or person) joined to another) for all kinds of food. Therefore the word “meat” here means food of all kinds. When the Bible was translated into English, the word included, as the original does, all kinds of provisions requisite to support and nourish life. In due season = As they need it, or in the accustomed times.I THE FAITHFUL AND WISE SERVANT. 1. His character. No doubt his known faithfulness and wisdom furnish the reasons for his appointment to an important office. (1) The first essential is faithfulness. (2) The second essential is wisdom. 2. His trust. (1) A post of responsibility. (2) A post of useful service. 3. His conduct. He simply does what is required of him. His Master finds him "so doing." 4. His reward. This is in the form of promotion. II THE EVIL SERVANT. 1. His excuse. "My lord tarrieth." This is but a thought of his heart, yet it bears fatal fruit in his life, evidently the miserable man is an "eye servant." 2. His evil conduct. (1) Cruelty. He beats his fellow servants. He abuses his position of trust. (2) Intemperance. The man is oppressive and ill-tempered, because he is weak and self-indulgent. 3. His shock of surprise. Because his lord tarried, he began to think he should never be called to account. 4. His awful doom. To such a man, and not to the abandoned outcast, Yahshua Messiah threatens the most fearful punishment. Have any questions? Feel free to email me at keitner@netzero.net

For all practical purposes, 2023 was the official return for RoMa Craft Tobac as an exhibitor at the Premium Cigar Association (PCA) Trade Show. The last time the company exhibited at PCA was back in 2019. While RoMa Craft Tobac was in attendance in 2022, the company wasn't displaying new products and used the time to connect with retailers. This year RoMa Craft Tobac was back with both co-owners Skip Martin and Mike Rosales in attendance. The company would be showcasing two new products that would be shipping shortly after PCA. The first would be the latest release to the Intemperance brand, the Intemperance Volstead VO 1920, and the second would be the long-awaited Quinquagenario limited edition release. While both releases were very different, there was one common denominator for both - they were RoMa Craft Tobac's foray into using a Sumatra wrapper. And Bear Duplisea was finally able to present RoMa Craft Tobac with a special award for its previous Intemperance release, Intemperance Whiskey Rebellion 1794 Hamilton. In Part 2 of our RoMa Craft Tobac coverage, Bear Duplisea presents RoMa Craft Tobac with the special award. Full PCA Report: https://wp.me/p6h1n1-qcB

Intemperance is a noun that refers to a lack of moderation or restraint. The Latin word temperare (temp er ARE ay) means ‘to restrain.' Our word of the day has been around since Middle English. By adding the prefix I-N, meaning ‘not,' we get a word that means ‘not able to restrain.' Here's an example: My intemperance with true crime shows has become a real problem lately. Because I can't stop watching them all the time, I'm in danger of losing my job. I can't get anything done at home with all that intrigue taking place on my TV Screen.

Part 54 of the David Pawson 'Unlocking the Bible' Podcast series David Pawson looks at Habakkuk and finds that the prophet sometimes argued with God because his view of Him wasn't quite accurate. But he clung to God until he got his answer. At first, he is disturbed by what is happening and calls on God for justice. When God gives his answer, he is further disturbed because He isn't going to do what Habakkuk expects. David reminds us that we often come to God and want him to fit in with what we think He should be doing. David recommends what Habakkuk did - interrogatory prayer – where we ask God questions. David says when God reveals to us what he is going to do, he does so so we can tell people to get ready. Faith - both in the Hebrew and the Greek languages – is the same as faithfulness. So we demonstrate faith by remaining faithful. Habakkuk named 5 things for which God would punish the Babylonians after they had punished the Jews – Injustice, Imperialism, Inhumanity, Intemperance and Idolatry. When he stopped arguing with God, Habakkuk ‘saw the light', and was at peace.

Our love affair with alcohol is as old as civilization itself. Every culture and religion have traditions, attitudes and laws that ranges from governing celebrations to issuing punishments. With only have sporadic cases of excessive drinking from historical figures, it becomes apparent that alcohol use disorder and dependency are modern diagnoses. The urgency for testing alcohol intoxication arrived with the increasing popularity of cars that shifted the automobile from a form of transport to a potential weapon. This led to a revolution in public health measures and has saved countless lives. However, it is not until one starts to examine the prevalence of risky alcohol drinking behaviour and alcohol use disorder in modern society that we realise this love affair comes with a price. While I don't love all RoMa Craft Tobac's cigars, I can't deny the fact that they're always well made with a lot of attention to detail. And, with that said, there are some RoMa Craft cigars that I absolutely love, like the Intemperance EC XVIII series.0:43 - RoMa Craft Intemperance EC XVIII Review: https://www.cigarscore.com/cigar-review-roma-craft-intemperance-ec-xviii-brotherly-kindness/0:51 - RoMa Craft Saber Tooth: https://www.cigarscore.com/cigar-review-roma-craft-aquitaine-emh-saber-tooth/4:48 - RoMa Craft Intemperance BA Breach of the Peace: https://www.cigarscore.com/cigar-review-roma-craft-intemperance-ba-breach-of-the-peace/RoMa Craft makes a variety of cigars, most of them unapologetically bold. And today's selection is the RoMa Craft Intemperance Whiskey Rebellion 1794 Bradford, which has a dark, oily, Ecuadorian Habano wrapper. On the cold draw, the flavors were slightly sweet and I tasted what I thought were hints of whiskey, so maybe this "Whiskey Rebellion" cigar was aged in a whiskey barrel. A little further, perhaps after I burned through the hollow spot, the burn became quite uneven.Final Thoughts:Despite my excitement for the RoMa Craft Intemperance Whiskey Rebellion 1794 Bradford, and the sweet aroma it put out, I didn't really care for this cigar. It was plagued with construction issues, a trait not typical of RoMa Craft cigars in my experience. I had to torch the cigar multiple times to get an even burn. That combined with the hole in the middle, and you get a poorly made stick.I may be getting soft in my old age, but I'm going to give the RoMa Craft Intemperance Whiskey Rebellion 1794 Bradford a CigarScore of 3. Perhaps it should've gotten a CigarScore 2, but I may be more forgiving than I used to be. The construction was pretty bad, but you might love these bold, intense, oaky, charred flavors, and really enjoy this blend.#CigarScoreTV:::::Find & Rate Where to Smoke Cigars at https://www.cigarscore.comCIGAR DEALS::::::Cigar 5-Packs: https://jo.my/mlunpiCigar 10-Packs: https://jo.my/8kfajfCigar Samplers: https://jo.my/oady8qBoveda Packs: https://jo.my/fbtwzr:::::Get CigarScore Emails - https://www.cigarscore.com/subscribe::::: SOCIAL MEDIA LINKS: Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/cigarscoreTwitter: https://www.twitter.com/cigarscoreInstagram: https://Instagram.com/cigarscore::::: AFFILIATE DISCLAIMER: Hey, so, some of the links in my videos and descriptions are affiliate links. Initial Thoughts:At the time I revied this cigar, RoMa Craft Cigars were still fairly new to me. While I've still had less than a dozen of them, I do, however, have several more to enjoy in my humidor. The RoMa Craft Intemperance EC XVIII Brotherly Kindness has a name longer than the cigar itself. In this case, RoMa Craft is the brand, Intemperance EC XVIII is the brand, and Brotherly Kindness denotes the vitola, or size. Oh, and EC stands for Ecuadorian Connecticut (compared to the Intemperance BA which stands for Brazilian Arapicara, which I reviewed here). Now that we're all on the same page… This cigar starts great. You'll find notes of roasted nuts and dark honey. The burn starts off pretty even and a great draw invites you to enjoy the rest of the cigar.Brand: RoMa CraftLine: Intemperance, EC XVIII Brotherly KindnessSize: 5 x 56Cut: GuillotineLight: TorchPrice: $8Wrapper: Ecuadorian ConnecticutBinder: IndonesiaFiller: Nicaragua, Dominican RepublicBuy This CigarFinal Thoughts:Through the first two-thirds of the cigar, the only thing to complain about with the RoMa Craft Intemperance EC XVIII Brotherly Kindness is a slightly uneven burn (see the video 6:52).At the end of the cigar, the only thing to complain about was the burn. The flavors of the tobacco were almost perfectly blended, the draw was excellent, and I think this cigar will help propel RoMa Craft onto a larger stage in the world of cigars. For these reasons, the RoMa Craft Intemperance EC XVIII Brotherly Kindness earns a CigarScore 5.
Intemperance, the lack of moderation or restraint. Overindulgence. Overconsumption. Excessive. To name a cigar the RoMa Craft Intemperance BA Breach of the Peace is to label your cigar something bold, unforgiving, and, perhaps, overpowering. Will this little stick live up to the name? I don't know, but I'm excited to try it.Smoke This Cigar - https://famous-smoke.7eer.net/DMx6nMy favorite coffee: https://amzn.to/2LyqNmjRoMa Craft Cromagnon Review: https://www.cigarscore.com/cigar-review-roma-craft-cromagnon-cranium/RoMa Craft Neanderthal Review: https://www.cigarscore.com/cigar-review-roma-craft-neanderthal/Initial Thoughts:The RoMa Craft Intemperance BA Breach of the Peace is a nice looking cigar. It fits well in the hand. I do notice that the wrapper leaf doesn't cover the entire length of the cigar and that the binder and filler stick out about 1/8th of an inch. Interesting. Let's see how it smokes!Brand: RoMa CraftLine: Intemperance, BA Breach of the PeaceSize: 5 x 56Cut: GuillotineLight: TorchPrice: $8.49Smoked On: June 1, 2019Learn About This Cigar - https://famous-smoke.7eer.net/DMx6nFinal Thoughts:The RoMa Craft Intemperance BA Breach of the Peace is almost perfectly filled, bound, and wrapped. The build quality is truly top-notch. The only drawback was that I never felt like I could get enough smoke in any given puff. But, the flavors of the Intemperance were really good. However, after spending over an hour with the Intemperance, I have to say I think it's slightly overpriced. Watch the full video above for details. Over the past few weeks we asked you our listeners and readers of TheCigarAuthority.com to partake in a survey where we asked you 20 questions. Well, the results are in and we will share the results… How much do you smoke, how much do you spend, what are your favorite brands and so much more. Barry has compiled all the answers and we share them with you the participants with whom it would not have been possible. The big companies are out to hurt the little companies, but have those small companies turned the tide? It appears the big are getting smaller, but are the little companies getting bigger? Regardless, the cigar industry is changing and we will take a look at what's going on as well as some major changes in Nicaragua. In the first hour we will tackle the first 10 questions while smoking Intemperance by RoMaCraft Cigars, while in the second hour we fire up a Padron 2000 Maduro. Both cigars were named by us on our after-show where we shared with you cigars that are smoking really well right now. We will have this all the usual suspects including Versus, Offer of the Day, Cigar News and a peek into the Asylum. The Cigar Authority is a member of the United Podcast Network and is recorded live in front of a studio audience at Studio 21 Podcast Cafe upstairs at Two Guys Smoke Shop in Salem, NH and as always you can find many of the cigars we discuss at http://www.2GuysCigars.com/. If you mention one name in the cigar industry that gets Ash Hole Michael DiMare all hot and bothered, it is Skip Martin. He is a RoMaCraft fan boy to the extreme, and this week we light up the Intemperance BA Intrigue which features a Brazilian Arapiraca wrapper. He won't be able to sit still and contain himself with glee, but will Ed Sullivan and Aarron Noonan feel the same way? Be an Ash Hole by joining the Ash Holes as we share our thoughts on the burn, taste and aroma before we close up the show with a rating from each of our hosts as we give a final score. Along the way we will have all the craziness of The Ash Holes including a T5 list from our friends at 55 Cigars. As always, the cigars featured on The Ash Holes can be found at http://www.2guyscigars.com/.

While Prohibition was successful in closing the saloon, it didn’t quench America’s thirst. Enterprising bootleggers found more ways to provide more alcohol to parched Americans – so much that there was finally enough supply to meet demand. New drinking establishments popped up across the nation: speakeasies.Forced underground, these new types of saloons operated under new rules, too. Women drank right alongside the men, and both black and white patrons danced together to Duke Ellington and Cab Calloway, all while local cops shrugged or were paid off to look the other way.But the Feds hadn’t turned their backs on the bootleggers. They went undercover, arresting thousands in stings that some claimed were entrapment. Increasingly, Federal agents took the job of enforcing Prohibition seriously. They had to; the business of illicit alcohol was growing dangerous – and violent. To learn more about Izzy Einstein and Moe Smith and the problems involved in the enforcement of Prohibition, check out Professor David J. Hanson’s, “Alcohol Problems and Solutions,” is an excellent resource. If you want to read more about the raids on Prohibition-era speakeasies in New Orleans, this “Intemperance” map by Hannah C. Griggs is an amazing resource that shows every single raid over in that city. For New York speakeasies, Michael Lerner’s Dry Manhattan is a thorough investigation of that city. Queen of the Nightclubs by Louise Berliner is also a fun read.To learn more about Harlem and the generation gap in the 1920s, Terrible Honesty by Ann Douglas is required reading.Support this show by supporting our sponsors!

Tonight is a very special episode of the Tuesday Night Cigar Club Podcast and it’s also a very different episode structure-wise from the norm around here, so this abbreviated episode page will look a little different as well. We were recently invited by Skip Martin and Mike Rosales of RoMa Craft Tobac to join them at their headquarters in Austin, Texas to eat some amazing barbecue, watch a film, and do a show. They also put out an open invite on social media for fellow brothers of the leaf to join us and it was a cool turnout. Several hours later we stumbled back to TNCC headquarters with a ton of footage and, to be honest, a large chunk of […] The post Episode 37 – Heat (1995) / Intemperance BA XXI AWS IV cigar / All The Beers appeared first on Tuesday Night Cigar Club.
