Lyons sticks around for one more segment with Arcand to gear up for a new version of the Brady vs Belichick debate with Drake Maye and Mike Vrabel. Who right now has the edge in responsibility for the Patriots' success? Then, we've talked before about the windows both the Jets and Patriots went through recently except the Pats are past it since their dysfunction is out of the building. And, before kickoff, Christian gives you his favorite bets for Thursday Night Football.

Whether a startup or a Fortune 500 company, it's more challenging than ever to cut through all the noise and competition to reach new customers, partners, and investors. One requirement for success is a great story, and often one that can be told in just seconds. In today's world, the best story wins. Last month during homecoming weekend, the William & Mary entrepreneurship hub hosted a storytelling workshop, titled "What's Your Story?" William & Mary alumni Francis Lyons and Jason Ross, both successful creatives and founders of top ventures in media, tech, and entertainment, led the workshop. Afterwards, they sat down with us in the entrepreneurship hub to talk about storytelling, the importance of a compelling narrative, and how today no story equals no success. Learn how the Raymond A. Mason School of Business at William and Mary can help you and your organization develop your top talent through customized executive education and professional development programs. The long-awaited opening of a new service station on the outskirts of Ennis is being hailed as a win for the economy of the county town and its surrounds. Following a lengthy battle, the Supermac's Banner Plaza at Junction 12 on the M18 has officially opened its doors this afternoon. The station is the result of a €20 million investment and is responsible for the creation of more than 120 jobs. Clare FM's Seán Lyons has been speaking to local Councillor Pat Daly at the Banner Plaza
Emma Lyons is a trauma-informed healer and founder of The Trauma Matrix, where she helps women break up with the shame voice that's been sabotaging their success, relationships, and visibility for years. After studying law and international human rights, Emma turned away from a life path that looked good on paper but felt like slow death, and spent the next decade deep in the healing world. Despite all the therapy, yoga, mindset work, and energy practices, she still found herself stuck in loops of self-erasure, burnout, and invisibility. Finally she uncovered the deeper truth: she'd internalized a narcissistic system of control, and it was running her from the inside out. Having broken free from these constraints, Emma now helps high-functioning, heart-led women dismantle that inner narcissist, the shame voice that humiliates, controls, and impersonates them, so they can reclaim clarity, power, and nervous system freedom.5 Steps to Break up with Inner Narcissist
Mego makes the argument about Drake Maye's passer and quarterback rating becoming overrated with every passing game and Lyons says fans should focus on his turnovers more than his rating.
Meghan Ottolini and Jon Lyons fill in tonight and give their reactions to a subpar trade deadline for the Patriots. For the first time since the offseason, the power structure is in focus between Mike Vrabel and Eliot Wolf. Then, with a wide open AFC, the chance was there for the Pats and they blew the opportunity which could haunt them by season's end. And, looming extensions for guys like Christian Gonzalez and Drake Maye could be the cloud surrounding New England that no one is talking about.
An early preview of the Patriots' toughest test in a few weeks when they go to Tampa. Jon Lyons explains to Mego why he believes the Bucs are overrated and New England can escape with a win. Then, Arcand Fire gets into Jayden Daniels' tough injury, Kyler Murray's potential exit from Arizona, and Tom Brady admitting he's cloned his dog. And, reacting to a much-needed Celtics blowout win over the Wizards.
Less than 24 hours from the official start of free agency, Red Sox news trickle in and the feeling about Alex Bregman's return start to get uneasy. How real is the possibility the Sox lose out on bringing Bregman back? Then, the New England dining scene is starting to be all about how it looks on social media for the New England Nightly News. And, a reset on the Patriots trade deadline (or lack thereof) and predicting how the locker room will react to no moves being made.
Mego and Lyons get into the New England Nightly News regarding a story on how some Boston restaurants are getting big business from out-of-staters because social media influencers are posting their food.
The trade deadline is now in the rearview and the focus for the Patriots is against the Buccaneers in Tampa. Mego and Lyons give their early thoughts on the matchup and why a complete game is necessary for a seventh straight win.
Mego and Lyons give their thoughts on Jayden Daniels' unfortunate injury, Kyler Murray's time in Arizona potentially being over, and Tom Brady revealing he cloned his dog in tonight's Arcand Fire.
Drake Maye has been on an incredible roll which the numbers clearly support, but there's one stat that Mego and Lyons agree is under more of a microscope. Why passer rating should take a back seat to turnovers? Then, hoop head Mego gets into the Celtics and the roster construction is more at fault for their recent losses instead of Joe Mazzulla's three-point philosophy. And, some disagreement among radio hosts in this building in regards to Derrick White's sluggish start.

A Midwest migrants rights charity says a new report shows there's a "lack of oversight and adequate governance" from management of an accommodation centre for asylum seekers in south-east Clare. HIQA's latest inspection of the Knockalisheen Accommodation Centre in lower Meelick has found that the provider failed to comply with eight standards. "Significant risks" associated with the premises were identified as well as "serious fire safety concerns" while it was also observed that some residents "felt unsafe" following a number of violent incidents at the facility. Doras CEO John Lannon has been telling Clare FM's Seán Lyons it's clear there has been no meaningful improvement in the quality of accommodation being provided at the centre since the last inspection.

Wes reveals how entrepreneurs are building sustainable businesses that fight trafficking—from training frontline healthcare workers to creating digital safety for children—proving that mission and profit can powerfully align.Discover why "looking again" at those society overlooks is essential to stopping traffickers, how apathy is the real enemy, and why living an extreme life for Christ matters more than living a balanced one.Key Topics:The origin story: How Tim Tebow's father rescued four girls and launched a movementUnderstanding trafficking vs. sexual exploitation: Different motives, different solutionsBuilding the counter-trafficking industry: How for-profit businesses are seeding a $5B market by 2030The Clapham model: Learning from William Wilberforce's dense network approachHealthcare's hidden opportunity: 90% of trafficking victims interact with medical professionals 15-18 times before identificationWhy being made in God's image means "image being," not "image bearer"The case against living a balanced life—and for living an extreme oneEagle Venture Fund's strategy: Treating counter-trafficking like counter-cybersecurityNotable Quotes:"My dad is one of my biggest heroes and role models because he's not someone that can look the other way and do nothing." - Tim Tebow"You can be for profit and for purpose and for people. A Clare developer claims allowing the private sector to fund the construction of wastewater infrastructure would "definitely" speed up its delivery. Housing Minister James Browne has tabled a proposal whereby developers would be responsible for building wastewater treatment plants. Once the EPA finds that the plants meet environmental standards, they would then be taken in charge by Uisce Éireann. Ciaran Breen of Ciaran Breen Construction has been telling Clare FM's Seán Lyons he believes it would give developers a greater incentive to complete the project on schedule.
There's a call for hidden cameras to be installed in illegal dumping blackspots in rural parts of Clare following a serious incident over the weekend. A large number of items were found disposed of in a ditch on what's known locally as the Farmer's Road in the Rossmanagher area of Sixmilebridge on Sunday. The items included a quad bike, a propane gas tank, children's toys and several plastic materials. Cratloe Fianna Fáil Councillor Pat O'Gorman has been telling Clare FM's Seán Lyons he believes GDPR is protecting illegal dumpers and not the general public.
Ann's Foodies London – The West End walk is coming up By way of an appetiser, she's whipped a little dish of culinary history (and nostalgia) for us. About Lyons' ice creams (this is their centenary, after all). And make not mistake, Lyons' ice creams were more than desserts – they were time capsules. From the Zoom rocket to the Fab lolly, each one tells a tale of pop culture, post-war hope, and good old British fun in the sun.

Send us a textShey is a years-long labor of love. She's a 4-3/4 ton lion sculpture crafted by hand from Lyons Pink sandstone. What better place for her to settle than Bohn Park in Lyons?Sculptor Kimmerjae Macarus found the original 8-ton sandstone block in a stoneyard where she worked during her time in landscape design. The block has been in her life for over a decade, ever since she discovered it before the 2013 Front Range floods. She fell in love with the rock, looking at it and climbing it for years. The block had many significant vertical fissures, or “dry cracks,” and, combined with the enormous cost of purchasing the block, she felt it would be insane to try to bring the stone to her studio in Lafayette to carve it.Her connection to the stone did not break, though. The Front Range floods moved many of the pieces in the stoneyard, and when she initially struggled to find this stone, she panicked and grieved for it.When she finally found the stone again, she knew she had to try to carve something from it, even if the result wasn't successful. The Rev Ian Paisley rose to prominence as the face of hardline unionism but the first time some would have heard of him would have been in connection with Maura Lyons. In 1956, the west Belfast teenager was smuggledto Scotland by members of the Free Presbyterian Church. She was a 15-year-old Catholic girl who converted to Free Presbyterianism, in the face of the strong objections of her family. They accused the Rev Ian Paisley of “abduction”. At one point, he gathered his supporters in the Ulster Hall to listen to a recording of Maura's voice at the Ulster Hall, renouncing her Catholic faith as a “religion of fear and dread”. Ciarán Dunbar is joined by journalist Malachi O'Doherty, who grew up in west Belfast. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
A Clare homeless charity has branded comments by the Taoiseach on homelessness as "disappointing" and says they ignore the "deeply traumatic" effects of living in emergency accommodation. Micheál Martin has come under fire for claiming homelessness figures are "a bit like hospital waiting lists" in that "it's not the number on the waiting list; it's how fast you get treated". Focus Ireland has called the statement a "poor choice of words", saying "people go to hospitals because they are sick; they do not have to become homeless". Head of Policy and Communications at Novas, which operates a small family hub in Ennis, Una Burns, has been telling Clare FM's Seán Lyons regardless of how much time people spend with homeless services, the experience often leaves long-lasting wounds.

The Clare-based former president of the Irish Road Haulage Association fears job losses at Fastway Couriers are just the "tip of the iceberg" for the industry. There are concerns for the security of roughly 300 jobs as the the parent company for Fastway Couriers Ireland, Parcel Connect and Nügo has entered receivership. A spokesperson for the company claims its business model is "no longer viable in its current form" due to "sustained inflation, rising operating costs and ongoing price pressure. Ennis resident and Managing Director of Spa Transport, Eugene Drennan, has been telling Clare FM's Seán Lyons businesses like his are facing "tax on tax on tax".
The manager of the Clare Immigrant Support Centre says he's "absolutely" in favour of introducing new legislation to combat hate speech against migrants. The European Commission against Racism and Intolerance has published a new report stating hate speech is "widespread" in Ireland and recommending new laws be brought in to clamp down on the problem. Prior to enacting the Criminal Justice Hate Offences Act 2024 last December, the Government took the decision to remove controversial elements relating to hate speech - prompting the European Commission to claim Ireland is "failing" to comply with laws around criminalisation of race-based violence and hatred. Clare Immigrant Support Centre Manager Simon Ó Treasaigh has been telling Clare FM's Seán Lyons hateful rhetoric is on the rise and the legal system must play its part in the fight against it.

Tired of ADHD strategies that don't work? Here's what actually does. FREE training here: https://programs.tracyotsuka.com/signup_____Kiersten Lyons spent most of her life being told she was too much. Too loud, too dramatic, too many feelings all at once. She was also told she wasn't enough. Not pretty enough, not the right fit, not what Hollywood was looking for. The dichotomy nearly broke her. But it also became the foundation of her story. As a working actress in LA for over a decade, with recurring roles on Grey's Anatomy and Mad Men, Kiersten kept hearing the same feedback: "You're great, we just don't know what to do with you." So she created her own work, writing and starring in her award-winning one-woman show Crushed. It was supposed to become a TV series. Then the producer ghosted her. At 42, while advocating for her son's ADHD evaluation, she finally got her own diagnosis and suddenly all those years of rejection, of being "too much" and "not enough," made sense. She understood why she could memorize all 50 states in under 20 seconds to impress boys (it didn't work), why she felt everything so intensely, and why masking had left her exhausted for decades. Her debut memoir Crushed: The Boys That Never Liked Me Back opens with her fiancé confessing he didn't love her and had cheated at The Magic Castle while she was addressing their wedding invitations. Six months later, he won $100,000 on reality TV. Her life unraveled publicly, but the book isn't about revenge. It's about reclaiming yourself when everything falls apart. In this conversation, Kiersten and Tracy explore pattern recognition, rejection sensitivity, and why so many creative women with ADHD end up in industries that require constant validation. They talk about the loneliness of being the eldest daughter who takes care of everyone, the grief of late diagnosis, and why acceptance, not positivity, is what allows us to heal.Resources:Website: https://www.kierstenlyons.comInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/kierstenlyonsroarTikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@kiersSend a Message: Your Name | Email | Message If this podcast helps you understand your ADHD brain, Shift helps you train it. Many high-achieving, sensitive women find themselves trapped in cycles of self-doubt, insecurity, and relentless self-criticism—uncertain why, despite so much effort and insight, they can't seem to break free. Emma Lyons reveals that the real saboteur isn't actually your own voice, but an inner narcissist—a toxic, controlling dialogue internalized from years of shame and outside judgment. This inner critic hijacks your confidence, makes you overthink, and convinces you that shrinking yourself is the safest option, all while masquerading as your genuine self. Recognizing that this thought pattern isn't actually you, but a parasitic voice you've absorbed, is a turning point. Emma calls out the shame-based systems and conditioning that fuel perfectionism, people-pleasing, and the invisible wounds women carry, often believing they must bear them alone. She empowers women to expose these scripts, break the trance of internalized shame, and reclaim confidence, calm, and self-worth from the inside out. If you're ready to stop playing small and eradicate self-sabotage at the root, it's time to break up with your inner narcissist. Claim Emma's free guide, 5 Signs You Need to Break Up with Your Inner Narcissist, and get the clarity and tools you need to silence the critic that never belonged to you.
