FIGHT, FIGHT, FIGHT!! Those are the words that come to mind about this issue. What else can we say. Oh, I know, we can say that we have the awesome Brett Young from the Fantastic Pour podcast. He joined us to talk about how the Wizard brought this on, and now has to rue the consequences. You bet he is going to find out after he messed around. Comeuppance...bring them. If you are asking yourself, how did we come to this horrific location with these terrible choices....than you are not paying attention. The Wizard. He did it. It is all his fault. What is your problem. Do you have something in your eye? Or maybe you have been drinking. And if you have been drinking, what was it? And in what type of receptacle? Remember, if you are drinking out of some crazy horn or round bottomed crystal, that is chaos drinking. Back to the fight. The Wizard deserves everything that he gets. Especially being beaten by a sea monkey on a string. I mean, how can he even show his face at the Bar With No Name after this? And what about Dragon Man? What about Mr. Pacifism? Why would you flame someone in the backside if you are into peace? Nobody wants a heat enema!!! That just leaves us with Blaastar knocking the blocks off of Darla. I really have nothing else to say about this. Not without getting dirty. And that was this issue. It was a thing we read and discussed.   Please check out Brett's podcast, Fantastic Pour podcast.   If you want to check out the artwork, go here:  https://jeffandrickpresent.wordpress.com/2025/03/19/ff-7-that-was-the-worst-field-trip-ever/   We also have some merchandise over at Redbubble. We live our lives burdened with responsibilities, and expectations of how we should act. Those expectations are placed on us by society, by family, and even by ourselves. Have you ever wondered if there's a way to follow Jesus that's truly countercultural—one that resists the pull of both left and right?   In this episode of The Bad Roman Podcast, host Craig Hargis sits down with author and researcher Cody Cook to unpack the radical history and modern relevance of Anabaptism. Cody shares insights from his new book, The Anarchist Anabaptist, diving into what made this movement so disruptive—believers' baptism, nonviolence, separation from the state—and why their bold commitment to Jesus still challenges mainstream Christianity today.   What's in it for you?

This is the fifith in a series of episodes on How To Live in 2025, focusing on the thoughts, feelings, and actions we need to thrive, develop,  create, and resist. In other words, tools that don't merely deaden us in the frantic pursuit of survival, but that assist us in nourishing ourselves, each other, and the world, all together. The theme isPEACEKEEPand my guest isCHEYNEY RYAN.Cheyney works withThe Oxford Consortium for Human Rights. He's a a researcher; professor; founder of the Institute for Ethics, Law, and Armed Conflict at Oxford; and author, most recently, of the excellent book,Pacifism as War Abolitionism and also ofThe Chickenhawk Syndrome: War, Sacrifice, and Personal Responsibility, as well as many articles on peace activism, pacifism, Marxism, and nonviolent action (you can find links to plenty of the here).PEACEKEEP was a word I had to invent for the show because we have such an undeveloped language of peace. While the lexicon of war is extensive, the act of creating true peace in the world doesn't exist in an active word. That is in part because thewar system - as Cheyney calls the autonomous, seemingly inexorable network of war activities, sites, motivations, and contracts - has instead on the articulation of its own anatomy. It's entranced us into detailing its every contour so that we become more and more convinced of its reality and density.

Libertarian Party candidate for US President Chase Oliver forced a runoff election in Georgia in 2022, is a former Democrat, loves guns, hates taxes, was disappointed in Obama, is the first openly gay presidential candidate on most ballots, is dyslexic and dysgraphic, likes audiobooks, would like to weaken the office of President, will be 39 in August, wants government out of education (and pretty much everything else), supports the harm reduction model of addition management, implies free market will solve everything, and sounds like a politician. Cori earnestly tries to convince Oliver of the problems of medicalizing “trans kids”; Nina pleads for protections for individuals and asks if Pacifism is a luxury belief; and our interview is briefly interrupted by a power outage.  This is the first in our series of Heterodorx Interviews With US Presidential Candidates. The clip presented includes the opening statements of each debater, making the positive and negative case for whether pacfisim is prescribed for Christians. Cody's positive case focuses on the importance of enemy love and not trusting in our own efforts. Jacob's negative case focuses on the Biblical teachings regarding justice and the principle of just retribution, and how these principles are not in conflict with the teachings Christ gave regarding turning the other cheek. The Biblical Anarchy Podcast is part of the Christians For Liberty Network, a project of the Libertarian Christian Institute.
