Bonjour à toutes et à tous, depuis plusieurs mois, j'ai envie de vous proposer des épisodes solos pour partager avec vous des récits plus intimes et personnels. Partager son vécu est une façon de réaliser le chemin parcouru tout au long des années, et le faire aujourd'hui, après avoir traversé des périodes de vie intenses, a pour moi une portée symbolique forte. Je ne sais pas encore où cette exploration de l'intime nous mènera. Je crois que le chemin compte davantage que la destination. Si vous avez apprécié ce nouveau format, dites-le-moi sur votre plateforme d'écoute et partagez le podcast autour de vous. Je vous souhaite une bonne écoute du chemin. Au moment où je me suis séparée en septembre de l'année dernière, j'ai lu le livre de Lauren Bastide qui s'appelle « Enfin seule ». Et je pense qu'à ce moment-là de ma vie, c'était exactement la lecture dont j'avais besoin. En tout cas, il m'a rassurée, il m'a apaisée. Il m'a fait me dire que je pouvais être heureuse dans la solitude.Après cette séparation pendant plusieurs mois, de septembre jusqu'au mois de janvier, j'ai eu besoin de faire un peu comme une pause dans les relations. Je pense que cette rupture m'avait profondément attristée, touchée. En tout cas, elle m'avait beaucoup remuée à l'intérieur et que j'avais besoin de temps, d'avoir du temps pour moi, du temps avec mes amis, avec ma famille.Ça a été aussi le moment où le sport a joué un rôle, encore une fois, hyper important dans ma vie, où ça m'a aidée à surnager. Mais donc, pendant tous ces mois-là, j'ai fait de façon un peu inconsciente et sans le verbaliser vraiment, une forme de grève des relations.(...)Et il y avait aussi eu une appli que là, j'ai gardée un petit moment. Et celle-là, je vais en parler parce que moi, même si évidemment, je n'ai pas de cases à cocher, ce n'est pas aussi simple que ça. Mais la pratique sportive, c'est quand même quelque chose qui structure mon quotidien.Le sport est un sujet à la fois, je suis un peu geek du sport, j'adore lire des trucs, écouter des podcasts, me renseigner, trouver des trucs, tester des choses, etc. Que ce soit sur la course à pied, le trail ou l'Hyrox, moi j'adore ça, j'aime bien, ça me stimule vachement.Et donc forcément je cherche aussi quelqu'un avec qui je puisse partager ça, partager cette passion pour le sport, où on puisse... Je ne sais pas, aller faire des courses ensemble, faire un trail ensemble, que l'un soit peut-être l'assistance de l'autre, peut-être même de faire un Hyrox ensemble. Enfin voilà, en fait, qu'il y ait des trucs qui soient possibles à faire à deux et de pouvoir le partager. Et donc, il y a une application qui s'appelle BPM. Et BPM c'est une appli de rencontre pour les sportifs.(...)Ce truc où moi j'avais mis un petit peu d'espoir comme ça, j'essayais pas trop. C'était dur quand même parce que quand on sent qu'on a un truc qui est joli... potentiellement avec quelqu'un. Évidemment qu'on se fait des espoirs, évidemment qu'on se fait des films dans la tête. On est des êtres humains.Évidemment qu'on a envie que ça marche, évidemment qu'on a envie qu'il y ait un truc cool qui se passe. Moi, j'avais très très envie de ça avec cette personne. Et que ça ne se fasse pas. Ça m'a plongée dans un océan de tristesse. Vraiment, j'étais en mode « Ah là là, mais en fait, c'est trop dur là. C'est trop dur pour moi. C'est trop dur. »D'accepter d'être vulnérable, c'est déjà un truc costaud pour moi. Mais en plus, d'accepter de l'être et de me dire que je peux rouvrir un peu la porte de l'intérieur, de mes sentiments et tout et que justement la porte se referme, bam, c'est pas cool. A ženské samozřejmě víc než muži,“ říká herečka Patricie Solaříková. Hraje už třicet let, ale přesto mluví o pocitu podvodníka a o tom, že dnes do obsazování vstupují i čísla na Instagramu. „Poslední dva, tři roky si vždycky u všeho říkám: takže tady hraju proč? Protože umím hrát, nebo protože mám čísla?“ říká a mluví o hejtech, které jsou s vystupováním ve veřejném prostoru spojené. Nejtvrdší vlnu podle svých slov zažila po Superstar. „Vůbec jsem na to nebyla připravená,“ vzpomíná a dodává, že jejím úkolem v porotě bylo vyvolávat emoce. Jen jí podle ní nikdo předem neřekl, jaké emoce se pak obrátí proti ní. Mluví také o době, kdy média i lidé řešili její váhu. „Dostávala jsem čočku,“ říká a popisuje tvrdé komentáře na její postavu i odsudky, že by už „neměla lézt do televize“. Tlak na ni tehdy podle ní působil opačně. „Čím víc ten tlak byl, tím víc já jsem nebyla schopná s tím nic dělat,“ říká. V rozhovoru čte i e-mail od muže, který jí píše, že je „příliš slabá a mrzká herečka“ nebo „hloupá nána“. Solaříková říká, že ji podobné zprávy dnes spíš rozesmějí, ale pořád nechápe potřebu si sednout k počítači a něco takového člověku napsat. „Respektuji, že mě nemá rád, že jsem mu nesympatická, že má svoje názory na moje herectví, to je naprosto v pořádku. Ale ta potřeba mi to napsat, to je něco, co můj mozek nedokáže pochopit,“ říká. Mluví také o bulváru, o tom, proč se po rozpadu manželství stáhla z rozhovorů a s nadsázkou říká, že se obává, aby o ní jednou nevyšel lživý, ale pravdivý článek. „Dokud o vás bulvár píše lži, tak je to vlastně v pohodě. Pro mě by bylo nejhorší, kdyby bulvár napsal článek a byl by pravdivý,“ říká. Otevřeně popisuje i rozvod, střídavou péči a to, jak těžké je posílat dítě pryč, i když ví, že je u milujícího táty. „Rozpad rodiny a manželství mě mrzí a myslím si, že vždycky mě mrzet bude,“ říká, ale zároveň dodává, že ji to psychicky posunulo. Kritická je i k systému péče o děti, soudům a OSPODu. „Kolik dětí ještě musí umřít vlivem chyby soudu nebo OSPODu, aby se s tím začalo něco dělat?“ ptá se. A i když o sobě říká, že je odjakživa pozitivně nastavený člověk, dodává, že nejde být sluníčkový čtyřiadvacet hodin, sedm dní v týdnu a že i vztek musí ven. Jak se žije člověku, kterého lidé hodnotí od šestnácti let každý večer z obýváku? Proč podle ní ženy v televizi odnášejí hejty víc než muži? Co ji naučila Superstar, bulvár, rozvod i roky komentářů k vlastnímu tělu? A proč je někdy nutné zavřít jedny dveře, i když se člověk bojí, jestli se otevřou další? I to se dozvíte v rozhovoru.

Eric and Glenn start the episode with a listener email and then play a numbers themed game of Regional Quirkisms.  For the topic of this episode, the guys discuss a 2025 paper from Simon Cole and Justin Sola titled "First impressions matter: Mundane obstacles to a forensic device for probabilistic reporting in fingerprint analysis".  The article discusses practical and realistic obstacles and hurdles to developing a validated, accepted, and commercially-available statistical model for fingerprint evidence.  The article takes the novel view that most sources cite either "practitioner disinterest" (or worse: practitioner rejection) or lack of push and influence from the Courts, Daubert challenges, or Authoritative bodies.  However, once you remove those two obstacles and assume examiner 'buy-in' and Courts pushing for empirical data over subjective examiner expertise, what 'mundane' obstacles exist that most people don't realize or think about?  The article discusses a number of surprising, non-trivial obstacles that have a huge influence on the state of statistical model development in the field today.
