Brad Parscale, the digital strategist behind Donald Trump's 2016 campaign, has become an advocate for the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in conservative political campaigns. His company, Campaign Nucleus, is working on utilizing AI-powered tools to assist Trump's 2024 bid, including generating customized emails, analyzing voter sentiment, and identifying persuadable voters. They also plan to amplify the social media posts of "anti-woke" influencers and develop an app to collect absentee ballots. Despite being replaced as campaign manager, Parscale's influence remains through his companies, which have been paid over $2.2 million by the Trump campaign. Both the Trump and Biden campaigns are utilizing AI for various purposes, reflecting its increasing significance in shaping political strategies. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/tonyphoang/message

Lawsuit Filed Against FEC for Dismissing Credible Complaint on Secret Payments to Trump Family & InsidersToday's Links: ArticlesCampaign Legal Center - CLC Sues FEC over Dismissal of Complaint Alleging Violations by Trump CampaignBusiness Insider - Trump's campaign committee dodges penalty as federal watchdog deadlocks on complaint it laundered hundreds of millions of dollars Associated Press - FEC deadlocks, won't punish Trump over questionable 2020 campaign spending Campaign Legal CenterOrganizations Taking ActionCampaign Legal Center, Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW), Public CitizenYou're listening to the American Democracy Minute, keeping YOUR government by and for the people. We reported back in May on the Federal Elections Commission deadlock over alleged secret payments benefitting Trump family members. The complaint alleges Trump family members and insiders financially benefited from sweetheart contracts paid out by a political action committee supporting President Trump's re-election campaign. The Campaign Legal Center has now filed a lawsuit contesting that decision. Based on 2020 reporting by the Business Insider, the Make America Great Again PAC allegedly misreported the payees of secret payments made to American Made Media Consultants, LLC, set up by Jared Kushner. The LLC had Vice President Pence, Lara Trump, and Kushner as board members, among others. American Made Media Consultants was reported to have been paid $617 million dollars from the PAC, and some of that money was used to compensate Trump campaign staffers and the partners of his adult children, violating campaign transparency rules. Parscale Strategy, LLC, headed by Brad Parscale, former Trump campaign manager, was also accused of having received misreported payments. Despite significant evidence, the FEC's three Republicans and three Democrats deadlocked on whether further investigation was warranted. The Campaign Legal Center lawsuit contests that decision, pointing out that the commissioners' reasonings for rejecting the complaint don't stand up to legal scrutiny. They ask that the court invalidate the FEC's dismissal, and that the alleged violations be investigated. Stay tuned for more on this story. Brad Parscale is our guest today. He's the founder of Campaign Nucleus, a software platform to help campaigns break down data silos and connect with other apps in the campaign tech ecosystem. He was an integral part of the campaign team that helped Donald Trump win in 2016 and he was campaign manager for the re-election campaign for more than two years. In our conversation today, we discuss the reason campaigns face data silos and why breaking them down is so important, how he's making the switch to building a product business, and what he thinks Republicans need to be doing to be more competitive. The Business of Politics Show, hosted by Eric Wilson, is a production of Startup Caucus, an investment fund and incubator for Republican campaign technology.Visit StartupCaucus.com to learn more.

FEC Deadlocks on Trump Campaign Payments to Family-Controlled LLCToday's Links: Articles: Business Insider, Associated Press, Campaign Legal Center Organizations fighting political corruption: Campaign Legal Center, Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW), Public Citizen You're listening to the American Democracy Minute, keeping your government by and for the people. One of the many reforms in the S. 1 For the People Act, which stalled in the U.S. Senate earlier this year, would have fixed the Federal Elections Commission. Over the last two decades, the bipartisan members of the FEC routinely deadlock on campaign corruption and misdeeds complaints, using their role not to uphold the rules, but to protect their own parties. In a report by Business Insider, the FEC has apparently deadlocked again, this time over sketchy 2020 payments made from former President Trump's campaign to even sketchier LLCs and holding companies set up by Trump's son-in-law, Jared Kushner. The Make America Great Again PAC was accused by the Campaign Legal Center for misreporting the payees of secret payments made to American Made Media Consultants, LLC, set up by Kushner, and which included Vice President Pence, Lara Trump, and Kushner as board members, among others. American Made Media Consultants was reported to have been paid $617 Million dollars from the Trump campaign coffers. Parscale Strategy, LLC, headed by Brad Parscale, former Trump campaign manager, was also accused of having received misreported payments.Even though the FEC deadlocked, it's not yet over. Campaign Legal Center filed a federal lawsuit on this matter in March after its complaint in January to the FEC. If there's one thing that Roger Stone has proven over the years, it's that he's willing to fight against any foe regardless of the possible repercussions. He's faced off against Democrats, the Department of Justice, and countless "activists" who have been trying to silence him for decades. And yet today, he perseveres. Today, he's continuing the fight. One of our shared interests is in continuing to expose the massive, widespread election fraud that stole the 2020 election from the rightful president, Donald Trump. On the latest episode of The Midnight Sentinel, Stone discussed why he feels the fight must continue even if most Trump supporters have moved their hopes forward to the 2024 election."Will we continue to have free, fair, transparent, democratic elections as we have had in the past and where, frankly, I fear we did not have in 2020?" he asked. "When the media is so adamant, 'no, there's absolutely no evidence, it's a fantasy by Trump,' well that's how you know it's more than that."He went on to detail how there's a record of irregularities and anomalies in the last election that did not get properly investigated, examined, or adjudicated. As we've said many times, election fraud in 2020 was never disproven. Nearly all Democrats, many Republicans, corporate media, and Big Tech engaged in the most massive gaslighting and propaganda campaign in American history at the time, though Pandemic Panic Theater has arguably eclipsed that campaign in size."While I cannot say definitively that the election was stolen, I can say that the evidence that it was is overwhelming," he continued. We may complain about it a lot, but other than educate people about it, we haven't been able to take many actions. We will hopefully change that in the future with upcoming summits (more on those later) but for now our best tool is sharing the truth. Stone has bigger plans. He's currently seeking plaintiffs who have donated to the Republican National Committee to sue for transparency. This will help to shine a brighter spotlight on the shenanigans that took place in 2020."We have had very substantial election audits in Arizona, in Georgia, there's an ongoing effort in Wisconsin and Michigan," he said. "But why has the Republican National Committee not paid for any of this? Not a dime."So the President, God love him, continues to raise money for them and they don't use the money for any useful purpose other than lining their own pockets. I want to know how much the consultants made. I want to know how much the RNC paid Brad Parscale in hard dollars and dark money."And I'm going to file a lawsuit if I can find a plaintiff who has given substantial money or even unsubstantial money, who therefore has standing."The Republican National Committee is a criminal enterprise. If you give your money there it will not go to help Donald Trump even if Donald Trump is the one signing the solicitation. That money is not being used to fight for clean elections. They were well aware of the fact that the Democrats were going into all of the swing states and sponsoring legislation and pushing regulators to loosen the laws making election fraud easier."But what did Ronda ROMNEY McDaniel do about it? Why would you have a Romney relative? I mean, Mitt Romney is a traitor. Mitt Romney knifed Donald Trump in the back the same way his father, George Romney, knifed Barry Goldwater in the back. Mitt Romney believes in nothing whatsoever."He's absolutely right. You can help Stone by donating to Stone Defense Fund for his legal needs or Stone Family Fund for his and his wife's personal needs.

Riding Shotgun With Charlie#100Alan GottliebSecond Amendment Foundation Alan Gottlieb is The MAN! At my first Gun Rights Policy Conference (GRPC) in Tampa 2016, I approached Massad Ayoob to have him sign my copy of In The Gravest Extreme. I took a deep breath, asked Mas if he could come Riding Shotgun. Alan was right behind Mas. He said “Oh my gosh, Mas you’ve got to go Riding Shotgun With Charlie!” It was 2 years before we made it happen. In Phoenix 2019 at GRPC, I was hanging out with a few people at the social hour and Alan came up to our group and congratulated me on the Blogger of the Year. And he asked when HE was going to come Riding Shotgun. We made it happen in Bellevue, WA, at the Second Amendment Foundation headquarters last month. He may have let me conduct the interview in his car, his 7th Corvette! Alan grew up in New York City then joined the Army. Earning a degree in nuclear engineering from the University of Tennessee, he became interested in fighting for individual rights, and the 2A which is most under attack. He got involved with the Young Americans for Freedom and was sent to Seattle to cover a 13 state region for the Student Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms. In 1972, way before the NRA-ILA, he had the idea to change it to the Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms (CCRBKA). Within 2 years ,the CCRBKA was bigger than its predecessor, and then he started the Second Amendment Foundation (SAF). The CCRBKA donations are not tax deductible as they’re involved with lobbying, but the SAF is non-partisan and donations are deductible. Both offices of the SAF & CCRBKA are located at Liberty Park in Bellevue. We talk about how things have been changing and the SAF is reaching out to the new gun owners with TV ads. Alan shares how he’s able to get commercials for SAF on some of the networks that are against the 2A. It’s very important to get the new gun owners involved and learning how the anti-gun crowd is going after our Rights and our firearms. Brad Parscale, who worked for the Trump campaign, is now working for SAF and helping the foundation grow. We also cover how just being public and open about firearms makes us a target for the anti-gun folks. Alan shares some stories about threats he’s gotten and how he passes them on to the local authorities. Some of the threats are ‘downright scary’. He isn’t the only one who gets these threats either. We also cover that often the people fighting for our rights don’t get enough time to get out and do some shooting on our own. One of Alan’s favorite shotguns was a shotgun owned by Neal Knox. His favorite type of shooting is trap and skeet, which he would love to do more often but he’s very busy fighting for our rights to shoot. He’s traveling all over the United States and the world talking about gun rights. He said that when people in other countries talk about gun rights, they call it “Second Amendment” rights, which is a wonderful hat tip to our Constitution and Founding Fathers. What I really got from my time with Alan is that the shoes he wears in the 2A community are HUGE! When he does finally decide to retire, we are going to need about 4 or 5 people just to keep up with everything Alan does. Favorite quotes: “Donations can be tax deductible and you can write part of this off on your taxes and make the government pay part of the freight, since they were attacking our rights to begin with.” “We buy those spots (remnant time) so we’re not feeding the enemy.” “Our outreach is tripled already this year.” “The more public you are in the media with this, the more you get picked on. The more threats you get.” “In Europe, they always refer to gun rights as “‘Second Amendment’.'' “Internationally, gun rights shouldn’t stop at any country’s border. Gun rights are a human right.” Second Amendment Foundation http://saf.org/ Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms https://www.ccrkba.org/ Special THANKS to Derek LeBlanc of Kids S.A.F.E. Welcome to Majority.FM's AM QUICKIE! Brought to you by justcoffee.coop TODAY'S HEADLINES: A forward-looking report released every four years by the US intelligence community notes a number of worrisome global trends. The pandemic is only one of them. Meanwhile, we’ve got news on the union election at the Amazon warehouse in Bessemer, Alabama. Did Amazon break the rules and taint the results by having the Postal Service install a special mailbox for ballots? And lastly, the White House rolled out several new gun control measures yesterday. There were also at least two more mass shootings, in South Carolina and Texas. THESE ARE THE STORIES YOU NEED TO KNOW: The forecast is not sunshine and rainbows, folks. The Associated Press reports that US intelligence officials are painting a dark picture of the world’s future, writing in a report released yesterday that the coronavirus pandemic has deepened economic inequality, strained government resources and fanned nationalist sentiments. Those assessments are included in a Global Trends report by the government’s National Intelligence Council. The reports, produced every four years, are designed to help policymakers and citizens anticipate the economic, environmental, technological and demographic forces likely to shape the world through the next twenty years. This year’s report focuses heavily on the impact of the pandemic, calling it the most significant, singular global disruption since World War II, with health, economic, political, and security implications that will ripple for years to come. Nations in different parts of the world set new records yesterday for Covid-19 deaths and new infections, according to the AP. The report says, "Covid-19 has shaken long-held assumptions about resilience and adaptation and created new uncertainties about the economy, governance, geopolitics, and technology." The document finds cause for concern in virtually all aspects of life, the AP reports. It warns, for instance, that the effects of climate change are likely to worsen the problem of food and water insecurity in poor countries and hasten global migration. Though health, education and household prosperity have made historic improvements in recent decades, that progress will be hard to sustain because of "headwinds," not only from the effects of the pandemic but also aging populations and potentially slower economic growth. The report also warns of eroding trust in government and institutions. Maybe that wouldn’t be a problem if they did a better job of looking after people. Here’s what we know about the hottest labor story in the country. The first ballots counted in a closely watched bid to unionize an Amazon warehouse in Alabama were heavily against the effort, according to an unofficial tally of the results by the New York Times. The union seeking to represent workers said there were three thousand two hundred and fifteen ballots cast – or about fifty five percent of the roughly fifty eight hundred workers who were eligible to vote. Hundreds of ballots are being contested, mostly by Amazon, according to the Retail Wholesale and Department Store Union. Responding to the early results, union president Stuart Appelbaum said the system is broken and, "Amazon took full advantage of that." As of 7 PM Eastern time yesterday, the Times’ unofficial tally counted four hundred fifty six Yes votes and one thousand and eighty four No votes. Counting resumes today. One thousand six hundred and eight votes are needed for the union to win. Union elections are typically held in person, but the labor board determined that the election should be conducted by mail to minimize risks during the pandemic. Meanwhile, the Washington Post reports that emails among US Postal Service employees show that Amazon pressed the agency to install a mailbox outside its Bessemer warehouse, a move the union contends is a violation of labor laws. The union has complained about the mailbox, which the Postal Service installed just before the start of mail-in balloting for the union election in early February. It has argued that the mailbox could lead workers to think Amazon has some role in collecting and counting ballots, which could influence their votes. Amazon spokeswoman Heather Knox said the mailbox’s placement was intended to make voting easy. They’re just trying to help! Sure. President Joe Biden announced an array of executive actions yesterday intended curb gun violence, following pressure from activists and fellow Democrats in the aftermath of two recent mass shootings, the Washington Post reports. The president announced new rules on firearms that are assembled at home, which lack serial numbers and are harder to track, among other moves designed to make it harder for unqualified people to obtain dangerous weapons. Biden also named David Chipman as his pick to run the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives. Chipman is an adviser to a gun control group founded by former congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords, who was severely injured in a mass shooting in 2011. Biden’s moves come amid growing impatience from gun control activists that the administration has not acted more quickly, the Post reports. Biden promised he would take action to limit gun violence on the first day of his administration, but that fell by the wayside. The issue of gun violence moved the forefront after the two mass shootings, one in the Atlanta area in which eight people were killed and another in Colorado, where ten were killed. It never ends. The AP reports that one person was killed and four wounded yesterday in a shooting at a cabinet-making business in Bryan, Texas. And at least five people are dead, including two children, in what police in York County, South Carolina, yesterday called a mass shooting, according to the Post. The AP and Charlotte Observer reported that the suspect, who was identified as former National Football League player Phillip Adams, killed himself. Adams’s father, Alonzo, told a regional NBC affiliate that his son had been, "a good kid. I think the football messed him up." So, he should’ve never had a gun. AND NOW FOR SOME QUICKER QUICKIES: George Floyd died of a lack of oxygen from being pinned to the pavement with a knee on his neck, a medical expert testified at former officer Derek Chauvin’s murder trial yesterday, according to the AP. The testimony emphatically rejected the defense theory that Floyd’s drug use and underlying health problems were what killed him. If Chauvin walks after all this, expect big protests. The Guardian reports that rioters were blasted with a water cannon by police as unrest stirred on the streets of Northern Ireland. After calls for calm this week, violence again flared up on the streets of west Belfast last night. Officers were seen being pelted with missiles before charging youths with dogs in order to drive them off. President Biden yesterday joined British and Irish leaders in calling for peace. Transgender rights activist and reality TV star Caitlyn Jenner and her advisers are gathering at her Malibu home next week to discuss her potential candidacy in the upcoming California gubernatorial recall election, Politico reports. Jenner has brought aboard a team of seasoned GOP strategists including Ryan Erwin, a former top official at the California Republican Party, and Brad Parscale, a former campaign manager to Donald Trump. A poll released last week showed support for removing Democratic Governor Gavin Newsom is well short of a majority. The New York Times reports that Joel Greenberg, a former local official in Florida who faces an array of federal charges, including a sex trafficking count, is expected to plead guilty in the coming weeks. The news is an indication that the defendant could cooperate as a key witness against Representative Matt Gaetz, who is under investigation. Our guest today is Alan Gottlieb. Alan is the Founder of the Second Amendment Foundation (SAF). The SAF is dedicated to promoting a better understanding about our Constitutional heritage to privately own and possess firearms. Alan is also the author or co-author of numerous books including “Things You Can Do to Defend Your Gun Rights” and “Assault on Weapons: The Campaign to Eliminate Your Guns”. 1) Alan, you are in a unique position in that you know the history of the efforts that gun-prohibitionists have tried in the past and you are actively in the courts all across this nation to protect our 2A Rights from them currently. What do you see on the horizon, as we enter into the years of the Biden / Harris Administration? 2) SAF recently put out a Press Release about a lawsuit against the BATFE concerning the Arm Brace issue having to do with APA Violations. Can you elaborate on that for us? 3) You have hired a new Media Marketing Manager, Brad Parscale, and I am seeing the SAF advertisements appearing on primetime television. Tell us about these new developments? 4) One the important things that the SAF does is help educate citizens on how to express their advocacy. Between the annual Gun Rights Policy Conference to the webinars you hold, these things are valuable and so needed right now. Tell us about those. 5) If you could say one thing to the 8 million brand new firearm owners across the nation, what would it be? 6) You will be one of our Speakers at the 2021 Rally to Celebrate and Protect our 2A Rights on Saturday, February 20th at the AZ State Capitol from 10:am – 2:pm. Why do you think these kinds of gatherings are important?
This week, Martha speaks with President Trump's former campaign manager, Brad Parscale about what the plan for victory was and where he believes it went wrong. Brad explains why he wanted to make the focus of the 2020 campaign a choice election instead of a referendum election, how the campaign changed when Bill Stephien became campaign manager and how he believes the President's decisions on COVID-19 cost him the election. RadioPublic|LibSyn|YouTube|Patreon|Square Cash (Share code: Send $5, get $5!) Joe Biden needs to get all of his ducks in a row, now. With Democrats, that means herding a lot of cats, a Nancy Pelosi specialty. David Waldman examines the process of arraying caucus constituencies in the steering and policy committee memberships. Whoever gets to steer will wield a lot of power, and there are a few theories of who will most deserve to take the wheel. Greg Dworkin, temporarily distracted by fox news, calls in with a coronavirus update. Cases, hospitalisations, deaths, and heartbreak are due to take a leap this week. Coronavirus was in the US earlier than we thought. The CDC will shorten their recommended quarantine for COVID-19 exposure. Hang on, help is coming. Remember, to be safe always wear a mask! Donald Trump mulls over handing out pardons to his eldest children and Uncle Rudy... probably Jared, not that goody two shoes Tiffany... and that wife he’ll need going into 2024. Other than that — Oh, who are we kidding? The dude’s a vending machine. Everyone has their price, and Donald’s is what you got on you. (Wait for his after Christmas sale, second week in January.) Meanwhile, Trump will burn it all down before he gives Joe Biden a thing. He wants the Supreme Court to throw out somewhere between 80 thousand and 7 million votes, whatever it takes. Mike Flynn calls for a military coup. The White Tea Party Committee (WTPC) calls for martial law, civil war... and safe elections just like Ohio’s — except impeach Mike Dewine. Ron Johnson could say something, but it would be political suicide, perhaps the real kind, too. Of course, sticking with Trump is just as suicidal, and even more likely to kill bystanders. Kelly Loeffler cuts off her own avenue of escape. How many people does Trump have to kill before Twitter removes the tags from his tweets? If you join a Republican suicide pact, make certain you have a tight grip before jumping off that bridge. Brad Parscale took every inch of Trump’s love, and should be thankful he got out when he did.
On today's show: Sam hosts Stephen Wertheim (@stephenwertheim), deputy director of research and policy at the Quincy Institute for Responsible Statecraft, to discuss Joe Biden's foreign policy appointees and why the president-elect should resist the Washington establishment's desire to restore the old foreign policy playbook of intervention and militarized responses abroad. Why we need a better Iran nuclear deal, how to end the forever wars, the issues with aggression towards China, and more. Fox News guest says it's common sense for Barr to say there's no voter fraud because Trump campaign has provided no evidence. Lou Dobbs loses it after Bill Barr says DOJ found no massive voter fraud, suggests Barr is compromised. On the fun half: Matt Gaetz says Barr didn't find mass voter fraud because DOJ didn't have policy in place to stop it before it happened. Georgia voting systems manager says Trump campaign actions have gone too far in Georgia, Loeffler and Perdue are complicit in potential violence . Brad Parscale is sad about not working for Trump anymore, "That family is my family." Asked about Trump demand to end Sec 230, Tom Cotton agrees because tech companies no longer need these protections, complains about censorship. This week's impeachment trial dominated the headlines, but the Trump campaign doesn't seem that concerned about it. In fact, the head of the President's reelection team says the ongoing partisan battle is helping their efforts. On The Fox News Rundown, President Trump's campaign manager Brad Parscale spoke to host Dave Anthony about the 2020 race and how the Democrat's effort to remove the President from office is impacting his relection. Parscale told The Rundown that nonstop impeachment coverage has cause their fundraising to skyrocket and has allowed the President to make gains with independents. The campaign chief also weighed in on Senator Elizabeth Warren's claim his boss was scared to run against her in November. He disagreed and said her nomination would be a "Christmas gift." Because of time, we could not include our full conversation with Brad Parscale and many of his thoughts on the upcoming presidential race and President Trump's Democratic opponents never made our original segment. On the Fox News Rundown Extra, our full interview with Brad Prascale. The man in charge of getting the president reelected, sizes up most of the Democratic field, and surprisingly offers some praise for Senator Bernie Sanders. He also addresses President Trump's so-called "problem with suburban women", something Parscale also doesn't seem very concerned about. Hear why on The Fox News Rundown Extra. Should San Antonio chase a bid to host the 2020 Republican National Convention? This week on Just This, Rick and I discuss an intense debate on the subject that took place in a March meeting between City and Bexar County officials, business and civic leaders, and RNC representatives. We also examine San Antonio Mayor Ron Nirenberg's decision earlier this week to take the matter to City Council, and charges that he misrepresented the Republican National Committee's interest in a bid from the city. Nirenberg's move came in the wake of an email and, then, a series of taunting tweets by former San Antonio businessman Brad Parscale, who ran President Donald Trump's digital media operations in the 2016 election and is now manager of Trump's 2020 reelection campaign. Parscale is pushing for San Antonio to submit a bid for the convention. We examine claims of economic benefits, as well the potential costs of hosting a national political party's nominating convention – including potential protests and civic backlash from Trump opponents.
