Giovanni De Luna"Un domenica d'aprile"Piazzale Loreto 1945: una fine, un inizioMondadori Editorewww.mondadori.itTutti i cittadini italiani sanno cosa è accaduto a piazzale Loreto, a Milano, nell'aprile del 1945: l'esposizione del cadavere di Mussolini appeso a testa in giù resta come simbolo della fine di un regime e di una guerra, entrambi catastrofici per l'Italia. Ma quel momento e quel luogo non sono solo un simbolo, o un episodio risaputo, e a ottant'anni esatti di distanza Giovanni De Luna riesce a darcene dimostrazione, con una ricostruzione ravvicinata che è insieme un'interpretazione originale. Una ricostruzione ravvicinata, perché il fuoco si stringe sulla città di Milano, il luogo dove era stato fondato il primo Fascio di combattimento nel 1919, dove erano stati fucilati e insepolti i quindici martiri partigiani dell'agosto 1944, dove Mussolini fece il suo ultimo bagno di folla ancora nel dicembre di quell'anno. E perché quella giornata, una domenica d'aprile di festa e di orrore, viene raccontata ora per ora attraverso una miriade di testimonianze "dal basso": diari, fotografie, lettere, ricordi di gente comune. E insieme un'interpretazione originale, perché a piazzale Loreto accadono avvenimenti che esigono di essere compresi, se non giudicati. La folla che fa scempio del cadavere del Duce è la stessa che lo applaudiva al Teatro alla Scala solo qualche mese prima? Come è possibile che si festeggi la fine di un regime violento abbandonandosi alla violenza? Cosa lascia in eredità quel giorno alla rinata Italia? «Pochi giorni dopo, della folla di piazzale Loreto non restavano tracce evidenti se non nella memoria di chi c'era stato. Si respirava ormai un'altra aria. Ancora qualche anno e, come in un gigantesco processo di rimozione collettiva, il ricordo di quella domenica di aprile sembrava già come si fosse inabissato.» Ma rimuovere il passato non è mai senza conseguenze e guardare in faccia la folla di piazzale Loreto resta fondamentale anche nell'Italia di oggi.Giovanni De Luna è stato ordinario di Storia contemporanea all'Università di Torino e ha pubblicato, tra i suoi libri più recenti, La passione e la ragione. Giuseppe Marasco era presente a un incontro in una sede di comitato elettorale di Fratelli d'Italia di Manfredonia dove ha corso alle ultime Comunali per il sindaco Ugo Galli raccogliendo il record di 208 preferenze tanto da poter aspirare, probabilmente, anche ad un assessorato dopo il ballottaggio. Quando un suo collega si è scusato per essersi tolto la giacca per il troppo caldo Marasco ha detto: “Noi siamo abituati ai forni crematori”. E tutti giù a ridere. Il pugile Frank Mascia, uno con molti follower su Tik Tok, candidato non eletto con la Lega alle ultime elezioni amministrative a Settimo Torinese, si è mostrato in video mentre fa il saluto romano e sbeffeggia il reato di apologia di fascismo: “Della legge Scelba ce ne freghiamo”, dice. E propone un “raduno dei camerati” per settembre nella cittadina dell'hinterland torinese. A Riano, vicino a Roma, là dove due mesi dopo il rapimento e l'uccisione del deputato socialista Giacomo Matteotti vennero ritrovati i suoi resti, il monumento commemorativo è stato vandalizzato con la scritta “W il Fascio”, di fianco al mazzo di fiori del Presidente della Repubblica posato per i 100 anni dall'assassinio. Qualche giorno fa a Roma i condomini del palazzo dove visse Matteotti aveva cancellato dalla targa in suo ricordo la dicitura “ucciso per mano fascista”. Per timore dei vandali, dicono. Senza bisogno di infiltrarsi sotto mentite spoglie nella compagine giovanile di Fratelli d'Italia (come nell'importante inchiesta di Fanpage), il ritorno di una certa nostalgia per il Ventennio si nota. Basta leggere le cronache locali, giorno dopo giorno. I fratelli Angelo e Pico Mariani, antifascisti come Carlo e Nello Rosselli, a differenza di loro non vennero uccisi insieme, nello stesso momento e luogo. Entrambi perseguitati fin da ragazzi, nei medesimi anni, furono però colpiti a morte in tempi diversi. Angelo, il maggiore, fu il primo. In questo racconto musicale, il settimo di Veglione rosso, a esporre la sua vicenda è un narratore collettivo, interpretato dalla voce di Wu Ming 2 – mentre tutti i musicisti coinvolti in questo progetto suonano un brano composto per l'occasione da Mattia Cipolli. Di umili origini, Angelo Mariani (1901 – 1924) cresce nella frazione di Budrio. Trasferitosi a Correggio con la famiglia in cerca di lavoro, si avvicina alla figura di Agostino Zaccarelli che per lui diventa un mentore, tanto che Angelo fu fra i quarantanove (su cinquanta giovani socialisti totali) che seguirono Zaccarelli nella scissione del 1921 e fondarono la Federazione Giovanile Comunista Italiana di Correggio. Angelo legge molto e compone poesie dialettali che raccontano il suo ambiente nativo di operai e braccianti. Nel 1922 viene preso di mira e per più volte bastonato dai fascisti. A causa delle percosse inizia ad avere problemi polmonari, contraendo la tubercolosi. Alla fine del 1923, viene nuovamente picchiato e portato alla sede del Fascio dove gli viene imposto di bere un bicchiere di olio motore. A causa della salute già cagionevole per via della malattia e dello scompenso fisico causato dall'avvelenamento da olio, Angelo viene ricoverato all'ospedale di Correggio dove trova la morte pochi giorni dopo.

Testi di Wu Ming 2, musiche di Stefano Pilia e dell'Ensemble Concordanze. Di fede prampoliniana, Antonio Bellelli fu l'anima del movimento socialista operaio correggese. Fu consigliere comunale in quattro occasioni: nel 1899, 1902, 1905 e 1920. Presidente della prima cooperativa di consumo di Fosdondo, membro del Consiglio generale della Camera del lavoro di Reggio Emilia, fu anche delegato ai congressi nazionali del PSI, nel 1904, 1911 e 1913. Nel '21 aderì alla sottoscrizione in favore del popolo russo per sostenere economicamente il primo Paese fondato sui Soviet. Nella sede del Fascio di Fosdondo, fu costretto dai fascisti a bere un bicchiere di olio, probabilmente di ricino ma non è escluso che si trattasse di olio motore, in quanto questo di solito era il trattamento riservato agli antifascisti più pericolosi. In seguito a tale episodio la sua salute fu irrimediabilmente compromessa. Ricoverato all'ospedale di Correggio per peritonite, vi morì all'età di cinquantacinque anni, il 16 luglio 1923. Poche ore prima di morire, Bellelli disse al parroco don Pivetti, che andò a fargli visita: «Come uomo la visita la accetto, come parroco no»

En el programa de hoy, quinto ya de esta temporada y segundo del presente año 2022 que ya comienza su mes segundo, os propongo un recordatorio de las más que interesantes fotografías realizadas en Zaragoza por Ángel Cortés Gracia, alias Skogler, durante la Guerra Civil, todo un muestrario de la Zaragoza azul que se impuso por la fuerza de las armas un 19 de julio para darle la vuelta a lo que las urnas, por “error”, habían determinado en febrero de 1936 que tenía que ser de otra forma. A mediados del pasado año 2021, y con el impulso de la Diputación Provincial de Huesca, pudimos disfrutar del visionado de un buen puñado de fotografías inéditas de Zaragoza en la segunda mitad de los años 30, aunque para eso hubiera que desplazarse a ver su exposición… hasta Huesca. Con el título “Skogler-Ángel Cortés. El visor falangista de la Guerra Civil y la posguerra (1936-1948)”, se pudieron contemplar allí y de esta forma decenas de fotografías realizadas por el fotógrafo zaragozano Ángel Cortés Gracia, que fuera operario del gabinete fotográfico de Carlos Skogler Fredikson y que desde 1933 pasó a regentar su estudio ubicado en el nº 31 del Coso, ante la plaza de la Constitución, conservando la marca “Skogler” por el prestigio asociado a ella. Por su condición de “Camisa Vieja” es decir, afiliado a la Falange antes de la sublevación militar de julio de 1936 y sobre todo por su trabajo en el nuevo diario “Amanecer. Diario Nacional Sindicalista”, que comenzó a publicarse el 11 de agosto de 1936 donde hasta entonces estuvo el incautado “Diario de Aragón”, “Skogler” cubrió preferentemente desde entonces y hasta el final de la guerra numerosos actos protagonizados por la Falange en Zaragoza. De esta forma, el “fondo Skogler” ofreció una extensa galería de imágenes que desde el mes de julio de 1936 y hasta el año 1939 ilustran el panorama de la “nueva” Zaragoza impuesta a sangre y fuego. En su inmensa mayoría se trata de imágenes relacionadas directa o indirectamente con la guerra iniciada ante la fuerte resistencia de la República democrática. Así, por ejemplo, el cuartel de los Castillejos en Torrero se nos muestra como uno de los epicentros de la organización militar de los sublevados, incluyendo las visitas de altos mandos militares, como el general Millán Astray. De este cuartel parten numerosos desfiles hasta el centro de la ciudad que discurren por el paseo de Sagasta (luego del General Mola). El previsto colegio de San Agustín en el camino de los Torres fue durante esos años reconvertido en hospital y en cuartel de Falange, como testifican varias interesantes fotografías. Las prácticas de tiro protagonizan también varias fotos en escenarios de San Gregorio y otros cuarteles urbanos. El exitoso devenir de la guerra para los sublevados aporta la celebración callejera de cada una de las victorias militares, como por ejemplo, la toma de Bilbao, y la captura de material de guerra a los milicianos primero y al Ejército Popular después, conlleva su exhibición en la calle o en las inmediaciones del Pilar. Los desfiles militares inundan la ciudad, bien por parte de las fuerzas de la guarnición, o de las diferentes tropas de paso por la ciudad de camino o regreso de los frentes de guerra, como por ejemplo muestra la espectacular serie de fotos de la llegada de los defensores del Santuario del Pueyo. También de carácter militar son las numerosas conmemoraciones del nuevo régimen: aniversario de la fundación de Falange; aniversario del Decreto de Unificación de FET y JONS, con presencia del “caudillo” Francisco Franco en el impresionante marco escénico del “Campo de la Victoria”; los grandes homenajes al “Ausente” José Antonio Primo de Rivera en el parque de Buenavista y en la plaza de La Seo; una magna marcha nocturna con antorchas para conmemorar el aniversario del “Glorioso Alzamiento Nacional”; la celebración por todo lo alto del “Día del Caudillo”; los funerales en memoria del “protomártir” José Calvo Sotelo en Santa Engracia, etc., etc. En estas celebraciones de calle tiene una importante presencia la Sección Femenina, que además de desfilar marcialmente hasta el Pilar, también rinde homenajes a sus “caídas”, como el caso de Marina Moreno, y realiza un gran almuerzo en el restaurant Las Palmeras. La presencia femenina también protagoniza las cuestaciones callejeras, los quioscos de libros con novedades editoriales, las mesas de recogida de libros para los soldados del frente, y la atención de los comedores del Auxilio Social. Hasta Pilar Primo de Rivera, la jefa nacional de la Sección Femenina, visita Zaragoza. Otro capítulo importante son los homenajes a los “caídos por Dios y por España”, que en esos años tiene como escenario central el entorno de la Puerta del Carmen, además del cementerio católico de Torrero. Algún caso concreto, como el funeral del capitán Hernández Blasco de la Bandera Sanjurjo, permiten ofrecer insólitas imágenes del cortejo funerario por el tramo medio del Coso junto el edificio del antiguo Banco de España, reutilizado como sede de la Legión. Y unos coches fúnebres a las puertas del Hospital Militar ubicado junto a la iglesia de Santiago nos ofrecen una inédita vista de este espacio desaparecido. Los aliados italianos y alemanes de los sublevados muestran una destacada presencia, como la bendición del gallardete del italiano “Fascio di Saragozza”, o las celebraciones nazis del cumpleaños del “Führer” en el Colegio Alemán y de la toma del poder en el Casino Mercantil, además de la habitual participación en los homenajes a los “caídos” o en la corrida de toros homenaje a la Aviación nacionalista. La legión Cóndor establecida en Zaragoza aporta varias imágenes donde aparece su gran jefe, Wolfram von Richthofen. Los efectos de los bombardeos republicanos protagonizan también importantes reportajes de denuncia, como los que tuvieron lugar en la calle Torrenueva y Don Jaime I. Los jerarcas locales de Falange, comenzando por su responsable provincial, Jesús Muro, protagonizan un buen número de imágenes, tanto asistiendo a actos oficiales, poniendo la primera piedra a una viviendas de la Central Obrera Nacional Sindicalista, asistiendo a la boda de un “camarada”, a algún bautizo, etc. De la misma forma, la sede provincial de Falange, de la Sección Femenina y el Hogar José Antonio, se nos muestran mediante varias fotos de sus diversas oficinas y dependencias. La íntima ligazón entre la iglesia católica y los sublevados en Zaragoza tiene numerosas muestras en esta exposición, en homenajes y celebraciones de cualquier tipo, como una curiosa foto de una misa en el cuartel de Falange establecido en el Frontón Cinema, o una misa que celebra la Inmaculada Concepción como patrona del arma de Infantería en Santa Engracia… Muy de cuando en cuando se cuela alguna que otra imagen que podría considerarse de la vida cotidiana, como una foto de la terraza del Café Gambrinus en la plaza de España, aunque casi todos los clientes que aparecen en ella son militares o paramilitares… Un partido de fútbol celebrado en el campo de Torrero se nos muestra en el momento en que ambos equipos saludan con el brazo en alto… Tal vez una de las imágenes más “normales” sea la que muestra la cabalgata de los Reyes Magos saliendo del Hospicio Provincial… En fin, una más que interesante exposición fotográfica que trasladada a su correspondiente catálogo nos muestra históricas imágenes de la Zaragoza de la segunda mitad de los años 30, durante la terrible Guerra Civil. Altamente recomendable, desde luego, para comprender mejor de dónde venimos, y a dónde no queremos volver ni por equivocación. Un cordial saludo, y no os equivoquéis tampoco al marcar las teclas en el cajero automático, aunque si os pasa, probad luego a denunciar ante el Tribunal Constitucional que se trata de un “error informático” o, ya puestos, de un “auténtico pucherazo bancario”. Bentornati Stupefan! Altra settimana e nuovo episodio in cui, di nuovo, siamo a raccontarvi di come, ogni volta che viene proferita la parola Cannabis l'informazione finisce in vacca per colpa dei soliti proibizionisti. Meglio Legale in missione a Sanremo dà coraggio alla madrina della prima serata del Festival, la nostra Ornella Muti nazionale, di rompere in conferenza stampa qualche lancia a favore degli effetti benefici della Cannabis. L'avesse mai fatto! In molti ci hanno tenuto a ribadire, non tanto la loro contrarietà alla legalizzazione, quanto che la RAI deve rispecchiare il LORO pensiero, e se loro di cannabis non vogliono parlare, tutta Italia deve stare “zitta e buona”. Poco importa se sulla legalizzazione è stato raggiunto mezzo milione di firme in una settimana ed è stato convocato un referendum che, con il benestare della Corte Costituzionale, chiamerà al voto tutti i cittadini a primavera. I fautori del “pensiero unico” non permetteranno che i temi che loro vogliono mantenere tabù raggiungano il grande pubblico, tipo tutti noi, che di droghe vorremmo sentire parlare eccome!Questa volta però ci siamo stancati, stufi di una classe dirigente che o si finge morta o fa di tutto per livellare il dibattito molto al di sotto della soglia della decenza. Uno su tutti, il capitano, che questa settimana si concede una doppietta che scopriremo insieme. This show is dedicated to life of Mauricio "Mo" Fascio who parted from us this past Saturday morning. Mo succumbed to the virus that has changed our lives forever. A frontline worker who affected change in the community, Mo is a reminder of how fortunate we are to get a vaccine when your opportunity comes. Sadly, he never got the chance. Mo was one-of-a-kind, a mega sportsfan but also the most genuine and caring individual you could ever know. We honor him tonight. We look ahead to Fall and the being in the stands for games as LA begins to open up to fans starting next month. Also....it's Wayne himself who leads the Hawaii Sports Fans March Madness Challenge. He talks the strategies and percentages he played to keep himself at the top - so far - of the 25-person tournament, including picking First Four #11 UCLA to make it into the Sweet 16. Wayne has his entire Final Four still in-play as well, but we'll see how it goes after this weekend....

The S2S crew is joined by Somos LAFC, Heart of LAFC, Dale Black & Gold, FCFC, LAFSin Filtro and Defenders of the Banc to hear the memorial testimonies of the LAFC community. Special guests include Jimmy Lopez, Jaime Camil, Tom Penn, Larry Freedman, Rich Orosco and many many more. A sad show. An emotional show. But Mo was a man who deserved to be honored.
