It’s the Banking On Music Podcast 50th Episode Celebration!!! What better way to celebrate than with our first ever “Banky Awards”! We’ll highlight some of our favorite moments and never before heard clips.

Wendi and Dfernando's twenty-fifth episode and their guest interview is dancer, actress, teacher and acclaimed Fosse reconstructeur  Dana Moore.   Dana is a twelve time veteran of the Broadway stage. She has been featured in countless Broadway musicals, from A CHORUS LINE, DANCIN', THE WILL ROGERS FOLLIES, ON YOUR TOES, SUGAR BABIES, SINGIN' IN THE RAIN, CHICAGO and FOSSE.  Now known for her work with the Verdon Fosse Legacy as a reconstructeur of Bob Fosse and Gwen Verdon's legendary choreography, she began her association with the legendary duo when she was cast in Bob Fosse's DANCIN'.  She continued working with Bob and Gwen in their 1986 Broadway revival of SWEET CHARITY, where she led the iconic "Rich Man's Frug" dance sequence as the lead Frug dancer.  She later went on to appear in the Broadway revival of CHICAGO as well as the multi-award winning revue FOSSE, which showcased the work of Bob Fosse's work from stage, film and television.  She served as dance coach and choreographic reconstructeur for several episodes of the multi-award winning FX limited series FOSSE/VERDON, reconstructing Bob Fosse's original choreography for the "Big Spender" number from SWEET CHARITY and the "Who's Got the Pain?" number from DAMN YANKEES.  Dana is also on faculty both at Steps on Broadway and Marymount Manhattan College. Designing for public safety might not sound like the most exciting job, but that's because you haven't heard Brett Marshall describe it. As the principal designer at CentralSquare, he helps design interfaces that are used by police officers, first responders, and public administration agencies across the country. Brett and I talked about the unique challenges he faces with his work, and he also shared how he went from designing at ad agencies to winding up at his current role. I first heard of about Shar Biggers from one of our past guests, Ida Woldemichael, and from just the first few minutes of our conversation I knew that this was going to be a great interview. Like Ida, Shar worked on the Hillary for America campaign, and helped to shape the messaging and visual style of the candidate during her most recent run for public office. While we did touch on Shar's political design work and spent some time talking about campaign life, we mostly talked about her backstory and her newest venture — a brand consultancy and design firm called Provoke. Shar's knowledge of psychology and business also feeds into another one of her businesses — a line of premium designed phone cases called Aitarah. There's a future in which we use less than half of the chemical fertilizers we use today, and we may eliminate 90% of the chemical pesticides and insecticides. He is passionate about demystifying misconceptions and bringing public awareness to how the farming and agriculture industry truly works from a large-scale farming perspective. Marc Brazeau is the Chief Organizer and Editor at Food and Farm Discussion Lab, a food system think tank and online magazine for people within the agriculture industry to share evidence-based solutions, ideas, and concepts related to sustainable agriculture, hunger and food security, and public health and nutrition concerns. With previous experience as a chef and restaurant owner as well as organizing unions within the agriculture space, he brings a unique perspective to the food-to-table movement. He is passionate about helping others form their opinions regarding agricultural issues based on evidence, science, and facts.
