Dr. Torri J. welcomes to IGDI's Podcast, Dr. Steven Allwood, Stacey J., and Dr. Ayanay Furgeson to the orange couch. We use Nick Cannon's journey of fatherhood with multiple women as a way to discuss, answer questions, and connect some dots to the trauma you may be experiencing in your own journey. Is it sustainable? Is he polyamorous or is he polygamous? Is he really creating a legacy or Is it just creating another fatherless generation? What does co-parenting with multiple women look like? As you can see, I've got questions and so I brought some friends to the conversation who have a few answers. Like IGDI on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/IveGotDaddyI... Last but not least, ogromne podziękowania dla naszej serdecznej znajomej, Aleksandry Piotrowskiej, za stworzenie dla nas tego kosmicznego dżingla! Stacey and J Sbu were feeling nostalgic on the show today. Stacey, who had recently received an electricity bill that shook her to the core opened up the telephone lines on the show to ask KZN what the one thing that they never knew was so expensive when they were younger but FEEL now as an adult.
It would be hard to find any health practitioner - traditional, functional, or otherwise - who doesn’t acknowledge the importance of consuming omega-3 fatty acids. Supplements in the form of fish oil or krill oil are widely recommended and consumed, and come with claims of cardiovascular disease prevention, cognitive benefits, and anti-inflammatory properties. But is it really a good idea to get your omega-3s in a gel cap rather than from food? And do they really do everything the media would have you believe? On this podcast, NBT Scientific Director Megan Hall and I discuss omega-3 fatty acids: what they are, what they’re good for, and the best ways to get them. Megan outlines the different types of omega-3 and explains why some are better than others. She also explains why some health claims are overblown, and why buying fish oil supplements may not be the best health strategy. Be sure to follow along with Megan’s outline for this podcast. Learn from her story! One of the things that helped me heal from the pain I inflicted on myself by being with my abusive ex, was finding and learning from women who had been through what I went through. I loved feeling like I wasn't the only woman who made 'stupid' decisions for a man. I also was able to learn from those women. Here is what Stacey J. wrote on her Facebook: I became single after a 5 year relationship ended in January 2020. What I once thought would end in married ended in a breakup. The breakup was needed in order for me to save myself. Not because of physical reasons but to save my mind, protect my peace, confidence and self esteem. There's nothing like being in a relationship that looks like love to later realize it's narcissistic control. No one thrives in this kind of relationships and it quickly becomes toxic. The sad part is we are the ones that allow it! Yep girlfriend it's on you. We stay because we feel like things will change, get better, we pamper them and their feelings sometimes ignoring our own. But once I was gone I know the universe heard my internal cry and it delivered. That's when operation heal Stacey J began. I had to learn to accept, understand my role in this and rebuild my confidence. Now I'm happy to say that I am internally happy and my life has exploded like never before!! I have peace, joy and I've tapped in to my higher self. I am not bitter I'm better and I welcome love again but when the universe knows I'm ready. I have learned to truly enjoy me. Stop second guessing yourself girl and know what you want, deserve and willing to give without giving up yourself. Season 6 of VO Buzz Weekly continues with Chuck and Stacey’s conversation with the multi-talented actor, Nolan North, beloved for his hundreds of video game and animation voice over credits like Uncharted, Assassin’s Creed, Deadpool, Destiny, Prince of Persia, Call of Duty, Young Justice, Home, Blaze and the Monster Machines and on camera work like in Pretty Little Liars, Big Love, Port Charles and more. Nolan discusses the types of characters he likes to play and demonstrates the ways he “plays in the vocal sandbox” to create new voices from adding an accent to doing a bad impression of a celebrity. He talks about the new mobile gaming project, created by Alan Tudyk, that he acts and produces on called Con Man: The Game. It’s a free game to download and is perfect for super fans and cosplayers who want to literally be a part of the game, so check it out.Nolan answers how he prefers to approach auditions by using the given artwork for inspiration and showing his range to play other characters in an alternate take. He offers advice to those wanting to become a professional actor to work in large regional markets first to meet directors and build your skills and resume. Without any regrets, he thinks about what he would do differently if he were starting his career over, defines what being successful means to him and reminds fellow performers to enjoy the journey of the business and embrace the chaos of it. He gives his perspective to following your dreams no matter if someone tells you it’s impossible. And he adds that if you can be talked out of pursuing something, it might be a blessing in disguise because if it was your true passion you would be unwavering in going after it.
