As we enter a season of greater darkness and less light (for those of us in the Northern hemisphere), it is imperative to spend more time within, connect to your heart, inner pilot light, and the all loving Divine Mind.    This week's episode is with Lars Muhl, spiritual teacher and author of The God Formula and The Sacred Numbers of Initiation, and Naleea Landmann, healer and author of The Love That You Are.   It's all about how to experience divine communion and disappear fear and misconceptions about yourself that are untrue.    More about my guests:   Lars Muhl is an author, musician, therapist and inspirational speaker who since childhood has been connected to spirituality. In his own words: “Very early I had some powerful out-of-body experiences and glimpses into etheric realms which showed me that there is more to life than most people are aware of.” He studied the Aramaic language, esoteric Christianity and the mystery traditions of the Essenes and the Therapeutae for many years, but it wasn't before he started to work with the seer and healer Calle de Montségur, he realized that studying and reading only make up half of what is needed in order to realize our full potential. The vision of Lars Muhl: You are already enlightened Season 2, Episode (S02E17) In this second online podcast, Ferdinand talks to Lars Muhl. Lars is a Danish bestselling author, musician and mystic. He is a much sought-after speaker and gives workshops and lectures at home and abroad. Lars ended up on Watkins' list of the 100 most spiritually influential people in 2013. Lars has also invited his colleague Naleea Landmann, with whom he has been working since 2017, to participate in the conversation. Lars Muhl (1950) was a successful singer-songwriter in Denmark for many years. He played in various bands, performed as a solo artist and produced for other musicians. Lars sings, plays keyboards, piano and guitar and has composed a lot of music himself. In addition to his successful music career, he has been engaged in self-studies since 1965 about various religions, esoteric knowledge, philosophy and Aramaic, Christian and Jewish mysticism. Lars started writing professionally at the age of 14 as a freelance journalist for a regional newspaper. In 1993 he made his debut as an author with his memoir 'Soul in Flames' and has since written numerous books. In his book 'Soul in Flames' he describes how his youth was marked by the premature death of his younger sister in 1960. This was partly the impetus for the development of his extrasensory perception (ESP), which, among other things, enabled him to was said to feel the pain of others, but also to perceive hidden aspects of life. In 1995, Lars was seriously struck by a strange illness that left him confined to bed for three years without being able to move or think clearly. Through a good friend, he was eventually put in touch with Calle de Montségur, a seer who helped him overcome his illness and then took him under his wing as a student. At that time he quit his musical career to devote his time completely to esoteric studies and writing. This period resulted in the spiritual trilogy The O Manuscript (The Seer, The Magdalene and The Grail). The trilogy became a bestseller in Denmark and the English edition also found its way to readers worldwide. In the first part, 'The Seer', Lars describes the period of his illness. Lars Muhl is a Danish author, mystic and musician, born in Aarhus, Denmark in 1950.Already as a 10 year old, Lars Muhl had experienced glimpses of another reality. The shock, following the sudden death of his younger sister, caused painful kundalini-like experiences, giving access to the ethereal worlds and a hypersensitive insight into other people's pain. This lasted for three years.A turning point came when Lars was 15 and received a book anonymously in the post. Hazrat Inayat Khan's ‘Gayan, Nirtan, Vadan' became the start of a lifelong esoteric study. Lars was for many years a successful singer/songwriter who, concurrently with his music, studied the world's religions and esoteric knowledge. Then in 1996, he was struck down by an unexplained illness, which neither doctors nor alternative therapists could diagnose. For three years he lay in bed without being able to move or think straight.Through a close friend's intervention, Lars was put in touch with a seer who, via the telephone, brought him back to life. Efter en pause på et par måneder, hvor POV Mediano Musics Jan Eriksen bl.a. har skrevet roman og holdt ferie, er vi tilbage med en ny podcast. Denne gang er gæsten rockveteranen Henning Stærk. Også han har holdt en længere pause – en album pause. Faktisk har han ikke udgivet en plade siden 2009. Han har overvundet gigtproblemer, men er nu fit for fight og aktuel med "Big Boss Man", opkaldt efter et af de numre, der var med til at give Elvis Presley et comeback i 1968. Flere numre på den nye plade er inspireret af Cash's "American Recordings"-plader. Bl.a. en flot version af Tina Dickows "Someone You Love". Henning og Jan taler om Stærks sanglærer Elvis Presley, der lærte ham at synge i barndomshjemmet i Holstebro. Om den første koncert, hvor Stærk sang iført en nyindkøbt Stones-trøje (rullekravebluse). Og om drømmen om at undslippe Holstebro, der resulterede i ”flugten” til Aarhus, hvor han til sin overraskelse bestod første år på jurastudiet, indtil der blev fuldt fokus på musikken. De taler om de første pionerdage med pigtrådsmusik, og miljøet i Aarhus, hvor musikere som Lars Hybel, Lars Muhl, Per Frost, Georg Olesen, Lis Sørensen og Hans Erik Lerchenfeldt spillede og jammede sammen på byens scener. Inden Stærk for alvor blev solist i 1982, var der årene med Jackie Boo Flight, Spillemændene og Gnags, der havde brug for en en "anden-trommeslager" model Allman Brothers. Gennem de sidste 40 år har Stærk etableret sig som en af landets bedste fortolkere af den klassiske, autentiske rockmusik, country og soul. Og han har arbejdet sammen med producere som Mike Vernon (som bl.a. producerede en legendariske John Mayall & The Bluesbreakers plade med Eric Clapton i 1966) og Joe Hardy (ZZ Top). Efter en pause på et par måneder, hvor POV Mediano Musics Jan Eriksen bl.a. har skrevet roman og holdt ferie, er vi tilbage med en ny podcast. Denne gang er gæsten rockveteranen Henning Stærk. Også han har holdt en længere pause – en album pause. Faktisk har han ikke udgivet en plade siden 2009. Han har overvundet gigtproblemer, men er nu fit for fight og aktuel med "Big Boss Man", opkaldt efter et af de numre, der var med til at give Elvis Presley et comeback i 1968. Flere numre på den nye plade er inspireret af Cash's "American Recordings"-plader. Bl.a. en flot version af Tina Dickows "Someone You Love". Henning og Jan taler om Stærks sanglærer Elvis Presley, der lærte ham at synge i barndomshjemmet i Holstebro. Om den første koncert, hvor Stærk sang iført en nyindkøbt Stones-trøje (rullekravebluse). Og om drømmen om at undslippe Holstebro, der resulterede i ”flugten” til Aarhus, hvor han til sin overraskelse bestod første år på jurastudiet, indtil der blev fuldt fokus på musikken. De taler om de første pionerdage med pigtrådsmusik, og miljøet i Aarhus, hvor musikere som Lars Hybel, Lars Muhl, Per Frost, Georg Olesen, Lis Sørensen og Hans Erik Lerchenfeldt spillede og jammede sammen på byens scener. Inden Stærk for alvor blev solist i 1982, var der årene med Jackie Boo Flight, Spillemændene og Gnags, der havde brug for en en "anden-trommeslager" model Allman Brothers. I den anledning kørte Jan Eriksen på besøg hos en af de sande legender i dansk rockmusik, Per Christian Frost – mangeårig guitarist i Gnags. Senest vendte han tilbage til Gnags i 2015 – 41 år efter, han kom med første gang. ”Dengang spurgte Jens mig, om jeg kunne tænke mig at spille guitar i Gnags, og the rest is history,” som Per Frost siger i podcasten. Åndssvagt, at jeg har skilt mig af med den..." Som 13-årig havde han sine første faste spillejob på et mælkediskotek i Mundelstrup ved Aarhus. Han kom hurtigt ind i et musikermiljø med bl.a. Georg Olesen pg Svend Erik Lerchenfeldt (senere Taurus og TV-2), Lars Muhl, Henning Stærk, Jens G. Nielsen (Gnags) og Lis Sørensen. Hør Frost fortælle om en vild 'studierejse' til punkens og new wavens London i 1977, hvor Huey Lewis røg Frost så ”absurd skæv”, at nogle hooliganoptøjer ved Queen Park Rangers stadion lignede en surrealistisk film. Det er historien om Gnags' rejse fra sen-hippie kollektiv til rock'n'roll orkester omkring Burhøns 1979 og den senere inspiration af engelske Steel Pulse's besøg i Gnags' studie – ”det var totalt Cheech and Chong”. Det besøg gav inspiration fra reggae og caribisk musik, der skulle gøre Gnags til pionerer – og som fik Frost til at gå tilbage til rollen som bassist. Det blev så også porten ind til en æra, som skulle gøre Gnags til det største dansk rockband i en periode. ”Vi havde lyttet meget til reggae. Men Carl Pitterson lærte os at vi skulle holde fast i rock og pop. Vi lærte hurtigt at elske os selv som en form for bastard, der ikke bare tog de ting, der var gængse i Jamaica-reggae”. Frost forlod Gnags, da bandet var kørt fast, og da ingen af de andre medlemmer var med på Per Frosts forslag til en måde at afrunde æraen. Hør hvilket i podcasten. (Apologies for the somewhat poor sound quality on Anders' side of the mic.) When Lars Muhl was eight years old, he said to his mother, in earnest: ”Mother, this world is very primitive”. Two years later, his little sister died from cancer. This forced a shift in Lars' consciousness. ”My life changed overnight. I became very sensitive. It was like a veil was drawn aside. I could see through people. I sensed that people say one thing and mean another. I didn't understand why. It was scary to me”, Lars says. He stopped going to school. Nobody knew what to do with a boy like that back in the fifties. He was drawn to religion and spiritual knowledge. But he didn't do any spiritual practice. He found music. When he got older he became an appreciated and successful musician. ”But I always felt I was a guest in this world. I never felt I belonged here.” In the nineties Lars Muhl fell terribly ill. For three years he basically stayed in bed. A series of synchronistic events led him to come in contact with a person who was to become Lars' primary life teacher, a healer he calls The Seer. This man managed to heal Lars – over the telephone. Eventually Lars became The Seer's apprentice in Spain and in the land of the Cathars up in the Pyrenees. He learned the value of spiritual practice and healing. Today Lars himself is a healer, a mystic and a writer. According to The Seer, Lars in a previous life was one of the writers of the Dead Sea scrolls. Those scrolls plus ancient texts found in Nag Hammadi in Egypt some 75 years ago show the true content of Jesus' message. Lars Muhl has dedicated much of his work to retelling what Jesus and Mary Magdalene – or more correctly Yeshua and Mariam the Magdalene – really taught. Basically, it is about realizing that all of us have the ability to find the kingdom of heaven within us in this lifetime. This knowledge has been vehemently suppressed by the church. Why? ”Because it takes away the worldly power of priests and kings and politicians. Because spiritual science, as I would call it instead of religion, is above everything”, says Lars. Western science seems intransigent when it comes to the tenets about matter as primary and consciousness as a side effect of brain activity. ”In many ways we still live in primitive times. Ordinary scientists that want to be original have to dare to cross boundaries. They have to go into the spiritual realm. Because there are no real answers in the world of questions.
