ROMA (ITALPRESS) - "Il tremore essenziale è un disturbo del movimento di tipo cinetico intenzionale, nel senso che compare quando il soggetto deve iniziare o deve compere un'azione. Sicuramente non ha un grande problema sull'aspettativa di vita, ma è una grandissima disabilità sulla vita quotidiana dei pazienti perché impatta molto sulle attività quotidiane, tanto che l'85% dei pazienti lo riferisce come disabilitate, il 25% ha dovuto cambiare mansione, un 30% addirittura a tende a isolarsi socialmente perchè viene ad alterare proprio quelle che sono le attività della vita quotidiana, come mangiare, radersi, prendere un bicchiere per bere un caffè. Il trattamento può essere di tipo farmacologico e ci sono diversi farmaci che possono essere utilizzati". Lo ha detto Patrizia Sucapane, neurologa all'ospedale San Salvatore dell'Aquila, a margine dell'evento dell'associazione Tremori a Roma. "Di innovativo ci sono soprattutto le opzioni chirurgiche, quali la DBS e l'MRgFUS, un trattamento che utilizza gli ultrasuoni senza incidere la teca cranica, senza anestesia e riesce a creare una lesione nel nucleo responsabile del tremore e a bloccarlo all'istante, con buoni risultati e una buona sicurezza del trattamento", ha aggiunto. xf4/xi2/fsc/gtr

Franco Giletta"I volti del sogno""I volti del sogno" è il titolo della mostra personale dell'artista e scrittore Franco Giletta nei suggestivi spazi della Chiesa di Santa Maria del Monastero a Manta, con il patrocinio del Comune di Manta e di grandArte. L'esposizione, a cura di Fabrizio Garelli e Cristiana Addis, sarà visitabile fino al 24 settembre, il sabato e la domenica dalle 14,30 alle 18,30, con ingresso libero.La mostra rappresenta una sorta di percorso onirico attraverso la bellezza del volto femminile. In particolare, nove opere realizzate appositamente per questa esposizione attraverso le quali l'artista, partendo dalla sua passione per la storia, propone una serie di volti che rimandano alle nove eroine dell'antichità rappresentate nella Sala Baronale del Castello della Manta e che dialogano con gli affreschi quattrocenteschi di Santa Maria del Monastero.Un'esposizione site-specific dunque, che punta anche a valorizzare uno dei luoghi simbolo dell'antico Marchesato di Saluzzo attraverso l'arte contemporanea. Gli affreschi del Castello della Manta e di Santa Maria del Monastero testimoniano la presenza sul territorio di una inesauribile creatività che dal gotico internazionale si proiettò verso la straordinaria epoca rinascimentale e con cui i volti sognanti di Franco Giletta, in una sorta di eco della storia, paiono connettersi in un senso di continuità nel contemporaneo.Così, nel percorso espositivo si rivedranno, come risvegliate da un sonno misterioso, i volti di Pentesilea, Teuca, Tomiri, Lampeto, Etiope, Semiramide, Ippolita, Sinope, Deipile.Volti di ideale e classica bellezza, figure femminili in primo piano, con occhi spesso socchiusi, forse a rappresentare il pensiero, il sogno, l'immaginazione, come a voler sentire il profumo della storia. Sono molti I volti del sogno.Franco Giletta è nato a Saluzzo nel 1967. Artista e scrittore, dal 1995 ha iniziato un'intensa attività espositiva in Italia e all'estero con la partecipazione a una serie di mostre sulla nuova figurazione italiana presso sedi istituzionali in Australia, Belgio, Egitto, Francia, Giappone, Giordania, Libano, Marocco, Portogallo, Siria, Spagna, Stati Uniti. Sempre nel 1995 è stato invitato, unico italiano dell'anno, dalla Royal Society of Portrait Painters di Londra all'esposizione annuale dei ritrattisti. Nel 2004 una sua pala d'altare raffigurante S. Antonio Maria Claret è stata collocata in permanenza nella Chiesa di Santa Lucia del Gonfalone a Roma. Nel 2011 è stato invitato ad esporre dal Prof. Vittorio Sgarbi alla 54° Biennale di Venezia. Nel 2013 ha realizzato il ritratto di Lucia Bosè utilizzato per il manifesto del film Alfonsina y el mar. Nel 2015 la sua opera Omaggio al Monviso è stata esposta nella mostra Il Tesoro d'Italia a cura di Vittorio Sgarbi a Expo Milano 2015. Nel 2016 ha realizzato il dipinto Angel of Peace esposto nella sede di Eataly al World Trade Center a New York. Dal 2019 un suo ritratto dedicato a Sandro Botticelli è collocato a fianco della tomba dell'artista toscano nella Chiesa di San Salvatore in Ognissanti a Firenze. Ha pubblicato i libri La tavolozza di Leonardo e L'ombra della torre di Saluzzo editi da Fusta Editore. After spotting a newspaper clipping advertising a small medieval castle to let furnished for the month of April, the four women leave dreary England behind and variously descend upon San Salvatore. TESTO DELL'ARTICOLO ➜ www.bastabugie.it/it/articoli.php?id=6970SAN NICOLA DA TOLENTINO, IL SACERDOTE EREMITA di Cristina SiccardiIntorno ai 12-14 anni il giovane marchigiano Nicola da Tolentino, nato a Sant'Angelo in Pontano nel 1245 e la cui festa ricorre il 10 settembre, ascoltando una predica di un eremita agostiniano incentrata sulla frase «Non amate il mondo, né le cose che sono del mondo, perché il mondo passa e passa la sua concupiscenza», avvertì la chiamata alla vita religiosa ed entrò proprio nell'Ordine degli eremiti di sant'Agostino, fondato nel 1244.Entrò nel noviziato di San Genesio, distinguendosi fin da subito negli studi, tanto che prima di terminarli venne nominato canonico della chiesa di San Salvatore del suo paese natale. Proseguì nella formazione e venne ordinato sacerdote nel 1269 dal vescovo di Osimo, san Benvenuto Scotivoli (?-1282). Contrariamente agli altri Ordini mendicanti, quello degli eremiti di sant'Agostino non ebbe un fondatore specifico in quanto fu promosso da Riccardo Annibaldi (1200/1210- 1276), cardinale protettore dell'Ordine di Sant'Agostino e sancito da papa Innocenzo IV (1195 ca.-1254), con la volontà di raccogliere le diverse fraternità di eremiti di Tuscia in un'unica famiglia religiosa sotto la guida di un priore generale e con la regola di sant'Agostino. Nel 1256 agli eremitani di sant'Agostino si unirono altre comunità similari; mentre nel 1968 il capitolo generale approvò il mutamento del titolo dell'istituto da eremitani di Sant'Agostino a Ordine di Sant'Agostino.Grazie al suo primo biografo, il confratello a lui coevo, Pietro da Monterubbiano e dalle testimonianze dei suoi contemporanei possiamo avere notizie storicamente sicure. Una commissione composta dai vescovi di Senigallia e di Cesena fu designata da papa Giovanni XXII (1249-1334) il 23 maggio del 1325 per indagare sulla vita e i miracoli di san Nicola da Tolentino in vista di un'eventuale canonizzazione, che si realizzerà nel 1446 sotto il pontificato di papa Eugenio IV (1383-1447). Gli inquirenti compilarono un questionario di 21 articoli ai quali gli interrogati dovevano dare risposta per esaminare le virtù del monaco. Ben 8 articoli erano destinati a provare la perfetta ortodossia dell'educazione ricevuta: precauzione assai necessaria in una regione che ospitava gruppi ereticali e/o idolatrici. Altri 6 articoli spiegavano dettagliatamente gli esercizi ascetici del religioso.UN PIO SACERDOTE DALLA CARITÀ SMISURATATuttavia, l'abbondanza e la varietà delle risposte trascendono i limiti dello schema suggerito per sottolineare l'azione di un pio sacerdote dalla carità smisurata. Il suo costante attaccamento a un'ascesi rigorosa si fondava su un'intensa pietà cristologica: le mortificazioni che imponeva al suo corpo lo facevano partecipare alla Passione di Nostro Signore Gesù e quando celebrava la Santa Messa l'unione con Lui gli suscitava la lacrimazione.Era un uomo di Dio innamorato della povertà e dell'umiltà. San Nicola praticava le mortificazioni eremitiche tradizionalmente in vigore nelle numerose comunità che erano state all'origine dell'Ordine degli eremitani di Sant'Agostino. Ma egli volle di più, nell'intento di unirsi più perfettamente a Cristo, divenendo partecipe della Sua Redenzione per la salvezza delle anime. Dormiva su un saccone di fieno, con una pietra sotto la testa per guanciale, si infliggeva quotidianamente penitenze e si sottoponeva al digiuno di tre giorni a pane e acqua come dalla Regola, aggiungendo anche il sabato in onore della Madonna. Rifiutò sempre le vivande speziate o il più piccolo pezzo di carne anche quando, negli ultimi tempi della sua esistenza, era indebolito dalle febbri e dalle varici alle gambe.Ma non era l'asceta afflitto dalle malattie quello che gli abitanti di Tolentino conoscevano, quanto piuttosto il sacerdote che celebrava la Santa Messa in un modo specialissimo tanto intenso era il suo conformarsi a Cristo. Inoltre, ammiravano in lui l'uomo di preghiera, sicuri di trovarlo nella chiesa del convento assorto nelle sue meditazioni e adorazioni, oppure pronto a confessare.Una penitente, Aldisia Iacobucci, rilasciò questa testimonianza: «Esercitava una forte attrazione [era, dice il testo, attractivus] sui peccatori dicendo loro, per confortarli, che da allora in poi non peccassero più e offrendosi, se lo volevano, di compiere la penitenza in loro vece». Gesù era in Lui e come Lui offriva le sue sofferenze per loro.SEMPRE PRONTO A SEMINARE BONTÀ DIVINAInvitava alla conversione e ai peccatori insegnava la contrizione dell'anima, molto gradita a Dio. I tratti che emergevano dalla sua personalità erano la benevolenza e la gioiosa affabilità. Visitava i malati di Tolentino, andando al capezzale di quelli poveri e dei ricchi su richiesta. In varie occasioni riconciliò coniugi separati e di fronte a situazioni di concubinaggio, faceva di tutto per rimettere la coppia in stato di grazia, regolarizzando la loro vita nel sacramento matrimoniale. Sempre pronto a seminare bontà divina, la gente lo vedeva andare per le vie con grande umiltà e riserbo, con il cappuccio calato sul capo.Con la forza delle sue preghiere, secondo la tradizione tramandata da Pietro di Monterubbiano, il santo salvò l'anima del fratello da un lungo soggiorno in Purgatorio, per questa ragione egli è rimasto un punto di riferimento devozionale per il suffragio di queste anime in attesa di entrare in Paradiso.La fama di santità di Nicola da Tolentino si affermò già in vita. Il gran numero di miracoli post mortem annotati durante il processo o raccolti da altre fonti da Pietro da Monterubbiano (più di trecento), rende san Nicola il più potente taumaturgo delle Marche nei primi del Trecento e conferma il rapido sviluppo di un culto assai vivo in quella terra, che oltrepassò anche i confini: nota è la devozione che nutriva nei suoi confronti santa Rita da Cascia (1381-1457). Il catalogo dei miracoli è un florilegio di atti votivi e di ringraziamenti a motivo dei prodigi che il monaco otteneva da Dio: guarigioni dal mutismo, dalla sordità, da paralisi di ogni tipo; resurrezioni, liberazione di prigionieri catturati durante le scorrerie a cavallo dei ghibellini o dai pastori ladri di bestiame. Fra le offerte il processo di canonizzazione segnala, per la prima volta nell'Europa Occidentale, di un ex voto dipinto nel 1305: è il punto di partenza di una pratica che si è perpetrata nei secoli, oggi purtroppo assai meno a motivo della poca fede; un uso di cui un'ala della splendida basilica di Tolentino dedicata a san Nicola (da sottolineare il magnifico ciclo di affreschi trecenteschi del Cappellone) ne dà ampia testimonianza.LA SANTA CASASan Nicola, che morì il 10 settembre del 1305, è considerato un santo mariano per la sua grande devozione a Maria Vergine e perché ebbe in visione la Santa Casa di Loreto trasportata dagli angeli. La Santa Casa (giunta nella notte fra il 9 e il 10 dicembre 1294), dopo una sosta di nove mesi sulla collina di Posatora, in Ancona, comparve alla fine del 1295 nella selva recanatese della signora Loreta, nell'attuale località denominata Banderuola, dietro l'attuale stazione ferroviaria di Loreto. Agli abitanti del luogo, stupefatti da quel prodigio, san Nicola da Tolentino, che in quell'anno dimorava nella vicina Recanati - e che, secondo la tradizione, vide per rivelazione soprannaturale l'arrivo della santa dimora il 10 dicembre 1294 - fece sapere che si trattava della Casa di Nazareth. Così anche un pio eremita, fra Paolo della Selva, che dimorava in un colle detto Montorso, poco lontano dalla selva di Loreta, conobbe per rivelazione della stessa Vergine che quelle umili pareti erano la Camera nazaretana dell'Annunciazione, portata via da Nazareth per impedirne la devastazione per mano musulmana.La protezione di san Nicola da Tolentino è invocata dai devoti per le malattie epidemiche, i naufraghi, i carcerati e in particolare per le anime del Purgatorio. Egli San Nicola fu anche celebre esorcista: uno dei pannelli della sua vita affrescati nel Cappellone di Tolentino mostra il monaco in atto di liberare una donna indemoniata. Tale facoltà rimase integra anche dopo la sua morte visto che numerosi ex voto lo indicano come guaritore di indemoniati.Iconograficamente parlando, il santo taumaturgo è raffigurato con l'abito nero degli Eremitani di Sant'Agostino, con una stella sopra di lui o un sole sul petto, e in mano un giglio o una croce con ghirlande di gigli. Talvolta, al posto di un giglio, tiene una sacca per la questua. Il sole sul petto rimanda ad una precisa caratteristica, tramandata dai suoi contemporanei: si dice che un astro lucente lo seguisse nei suoi spostamenti e illuminasse la sua figura.

Welcome to episode 760, another on the Road Edition With Stevie Kim, Join her as she continues her adventure in Campania, at the L'Azienda Agricola San Salvatore speaking with Giuseppe Pagano, Principal of the Company. This is part 2 of this 4 part series. About today's guest: Giuseppe Pagano is a successful entrepreneur in the hospitality sector. Nowadays his business vision and passion has expanded into the world of fruit orchards, vegetables, olive groves, buffalo products and of course wine! "I'VE SEEN A BUFFALO THROUGH THE GRAPEVINES AND I'VE DRANK WINE. I'VE SEEN A BUFFALO AND IT HAS SEEN ME." The idea for the San Salvatore Winery was first conceived in the mid-40s in Boscoreale, on the slopes of Mount Vesuvius. It was Giuseppe's father that had first made wine in this area. The San Salvatore winery is named after Giuseppe's father and after many years in the Hotel industry Giuseppe and his brother decided to go back to their roots; buying land in Campania in 2003 and developing the winery that we see today. They have a love for organic and biodynamic agriculture, making sure not to stress their vines, respecting nature; the rhythms and traditions of a special terroir. The vineyards are located in the Cilento National Park, it is an area distributed among Stio, Paestum and Giungano. And it is here, at 700m from the vineyard and in view of the Temples, they also have their modern winery, equipped with a 96kW photovoltaic system that allows them to minimize the release of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere. The family prides itself on their 97 hectares of land, of which 21.5 are under vine and the rest are divided between orchards, olive groves and woods, including 450 beloved buffalo that are exported all over the world, from Australia to the United States. Come la storia di San Salvatore, che comincia a metà degli anni ‘40 a Boscoreale, alle falde del Vesuvio. Altri tempi, frammenti di emozioni che si riscoprono oggi nell’amore di questa azienda per l’agricoltura, biologica o biodinamica, ma mai intensiva. Il titolare, patròn e anima dell’azienda è Giuseppe Pagano, nato e cresciuto qui, imprenditore di successo del settore turistico-alberghiero, che ha creato questa realtà con l’intento di produrre vini rispettando la natura e le tradizioni, includendo nei prodotti anche la storia ed i sapori della terra natiaNon si stressano dunque le viti e si rispetta l’identità ecologica referenziale, i ritmi e le tradizioni di un terroir speciale. Una terra con condizioni pedologiche e climatiche ottimali, dove già i Greci, quasi 3000 anni fa, avevano impiantato i loro vigneti: il Parco nazionale del Cilento, in un’area compresa e distribuita tra Stio, Paestum e Giungano. Ed è qui, a 700m dalla vigna e ad un tiro di sguardo dai templi antichi, che hanno anche creato la loro moderna cantina, dotata di un impianto fotovoltaico da 96Kw che consente di ridurre al minimo l’immissione di anidride carbonica nell'atmosfera. Le uve coltivate sono quelle autoctone e tradizionali del territorio: aglianico, fiano, greco e falanghinaIeri vignaioli ed allevatori, oggi Giuseppe e i suoi collaboratori hanno creato un’azienda agricola di 97 ettari, di cui 21,5 di vigneti ed il resto divisi tra frutteti, uliveti e bosco, oltre a 450 bufale esportate in tutto il mondo, dall’Australia agli Stati Uniti. L’azienda è in procinto, inoltre, di aprire una serie di punti vendita dove i loro prodotti, unitamente ad altri eccellenti del Parco nazionale, verranno preparati da mani che cucinano per e con amore: mani di donna, mani di massaia. Un sogno di Giuseppe, Peppino per gli amici, una storia che inizia domani.

La decisione è stata pubblicata il 21 agosto sulla Gazzetta ufficiale della Turchia. He was ordained at 23 years of age and earned a doctorate in theology soon afterward. He was given an assistant professorship at the Sapienza University but resigned it soon after to devote himself to pastoral work. Pallotti organized schools for shoemakers, tailors, coachmen, carpenters, and gardeners so that they could better work at their trade, as well as evening classes for young farmers and unskilled workers. He gave away his books, his possessions, and even his clothes to the poor. In 1835, he founded his two congregations and was instrumental in the founding of a missionary order in England and several colleges for the training of missionaries. St. Vincent Pallotti died in 1850 at the age of 55 and his body lies incorrupt in the church of San Salvatore in Rome. He was canonized by Pope John XXIII in 1963.His feast day is celebrated on January 22nd.

Chapter 13 brings with it the beauty of San Salvatore. I love this one - it’s a quiet chapter and the movement our ladies are experiencing is so deep-rooted and internal that it is difficult to see unless you can peek into their minds - lucky for us, this is a book and we can. Mrs. Wilkins, already thriving and awake, was just the tip of the iceberg. Scrap, Mrs. Arbuthnot and Mrs. Fisher, all have strange stirrings - but how to get to the other side of them? Each of them must first go through the awkwardness and uncomfortability before shedding their skin (so to speak) and moving on. Join me, and experience with me, what our lovely ladies are going through.

Chapter 12 brings with it the end of the first day at San Salvatore and the bringing together - for the first time ever – of the four ladies who will share the next month together. On this evening, personalities begin to emerge and interactions set the tone for their upcoming evening meals. We know Mrs. Fisher has issues with Mrs. Wilkins - and that Mrs. Wilkins doesn’t even notice - but what about Scrap? It’s the first time, really, she’s interacted with anyone other than Mrs. Fisher and the range of personalities laid out before her is at once intriguing, horrifying and mystifying. And then of course there’s the announcement from Mrs. Wilkins - that only Rose any idea about - and that adds extra spice to everything else. Mrs. Wilkins is definitely aware of how thankful she is to be in the new, breathtaking surroundings of San Salvatore. It helps quite a bit that she allowed herself to be transformed immediately - there were no protests, no struggles against change for her! But Mrs. Fisher and Mrs. Arbuthnot are in very different places than our sweet Mrs. Wilkins. Not surprisingly, Mrs. Fisher is as much Mrs. Fisher than she ever was. She has had many, many more years to develop (in her opinion) the RIGHT way to do things and envelope herself in those traditions. On the other hand, Mrs. Arbuthnot has stayed busy to avoid dealing with the situations she found herself in (amazing that they did that too in the early 1900s) and now that she's surrounded by the quiet beauty of San Salvatore, she has quite a bit of catching up to do.    Last week we left our two originals, Mrs. Wilkins and Mrs. Arbuthnot, just caught by Mrs. Fisher in the room she had reserved for her own personal use. Oh my goodness do I have a fantastic chapter in store for you. After weeks of tough chapters with the agony and tension of uncertainty Mrs. Wilkins and Mrs. Arbuthnot have finally arrived...  When I think back to the more stressful times in my life - beleaguered by expectations, the pressure of daily life, and the flurry of activity it takes just to get through one normal day - and then moving from that into vacation is like night and day. After the flurry of (extra) activity it takes to get ready for said vacation, once I get there the weight lifts of with surprising speed and I start seeing the world through different eyes. And that is exactly what you have in store for you in this next chapter of the Enchanted April. My friends, we’ve been through the dreary English days and now we have finally made it to the crystal clear blue Italian skies of San Salvatore where we get to finally discover the riches that lie in wait for Mrs. Arbuthnot, Mrs. Wilkins, Mrs. Fisher and Lady Caroline Dester.

This week two important things happen in our next chapter. First of all, we find that a way is made where none seemed possible. Once a dream is first conceived, doesn't it seem like the vision of it is followed by the possibilities- as close as you can touch - followed by disappointments, followed by decisions to either give up on it or figure out a way through? Assuming you do take steps to move forward, inevitably it will again be followed by more ups and downs but each one takes you one step closer to the final destination of fulfilling that dream. That is what the dream of San Salvatore, the Italian medieval castle, is like for Mrs. Arbuthnot and Mrs. Wilkins.   The second important thing is that we are introduced to the indomitable Mrs. Fisher. The sheer force of her will is impressive, but if you happen to be the one interacting with her it can be less impressive and a bit more challenging. The strict structure and rules she holds dear and has purposefully chosen to live by have kept everything in precious order. Does she know what she is getting into? Probably not, but that is what makes surprises so sweet. 

This week’s chapter is short but effective. You know how there is always a swirl of fear and anxiety right before you take off on a new adventure? Something about changing the pattern of your life that calls down the ravaging doubt storm? I have recently begun to realize that my doubt storms often mean I am actually on the exact right path. Something deep within me recognizes that if I take the very step I’m questioning, it will change me (hopefully for the better). What is it about having the boring, life-sucking processes of our lives threatened that causes us to take stock still and question if the dream we’ve been yearning to step into has any real value at all??? We're about to find out. To say that Mrs. Wilkins and Mrs. Arbuthnot have called down a doubt storm is putting it mildly. And yet, I don’t know any other way they could have stepped out of the deep monotonous trenches in which they had been ensconced. Necessary; difficult; and takes them one step closer - the last big step - toward their dream of that brilliant medieval, Italian castle: San Salvatore.
