Welcome to the most embarrassing podcast yet! Jon has had a disastrous accident leaving Will and Matt to discuss what they know best: pee pee. This week we tackle the Led Zeppelins 1969 debut album Led Zeppelin. Other topics include: Robert Plants vocal being used as the sound effect for the Star Wars Tie Fighter. Bringing up stories that can't be told on the podcast (sorry folks) Watching terrible Zeppelin documentaries to prep for this episode. Peter Grant being the original Suge Knight. People think they do, but don't want great bands. The “Setlist” for the show, which is the topics that seem to touch on EVERY episode. Great first songs on debut records. Rolling Stone magazine shitting on this record. What Mike thinks about Jeff Beck, Mike giving his teacher his copy of Yngwie Malmsteens Rising Force cassette. Loaning equipment to Reignwolf. Playing air cymbals. Wanting to play First Ave in Minneapolis. Fake entries in the listener poll. Jamie RAGES about LCD Sound system. The best wrestling stable of all time. Mike says there is a Grand Funk album that is as good as this. Scaring kids while tripping on LSD. Multiple John-toids make an appearance this week. How attitudes about sex have changed over the decades. We discus what a “nob” is Jamies Grandma being sex positive and giving him his first box of condoms. How awful powered milk is. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/goldenshower/message Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/goldenshower/support
Join Andrew and Brandon as they travel back to July 1994 and some how Andrew knows the Song of the Summer and Brandon doesn’t - which breaks his brain. They talk about Star Wars: Tie Fighter and remember the Microsoft Sidewinder 3D Pro and other computer joysticks from the era. Brandon attempts to recap Forrest Gump in a minute because Andrew refuses to watch any movie that people suggest he watches. After getting sidetracked by Cameron Diaz and the Mask, they finish with a discussion about Amazon and how the tech industry has changed the Seattle landscape. Like the show? Welcome back to Inferno Pod! Ivan and Chan are back with a comic from a new era, this week the boys will be covering TIE FIGHTER. Now hold on to your pilots helmets and strap in to your seat because there's a lot of hyperspace jumps that the guys do in this weeks episode. Also a quick little note, this episode is much shorter than usual because this comic is not huge and Chan and Ivan say what they need to. Make sure to tune in next week when they cover ALPHABET SQUADRON, that is the episode where they'll give their final thoughts on this comic. - Follow Inferno Pod on Twitter -https://twitter.com/swinfernopod - Ivan's Twitter -https://twitter.com/dramaticramoose - Chan's Twitter -https://twitter.com/chanlothemanloFor business inquiries email us at swinfernopod@gmail.comAudio and Sound Design by Hunter Reusche and Ivan Ramos
Tonight on GeekNights, we consider the mostly moribund but possibly reviving genre of free space shooters. Games like TIE Fighter or Wing Commander. There is a small chance they live again. Be prepared to dust off your HOTAS. In the news, Sega has a Game Gear Micro (that only Rym cares about), Nintendo messes up their Pokémon DLC, the Steam Game Festival is live, the PS5 cometh, Paper Mario returns, WotC bans old racist magic cards, the Bundle for Racial Justice and Equality raised over 8MM dollars for the cause, we will be at PAX Online, Dwarf Fortress has graphics, Slay the Spire is now available on iOS, and Command & Conquer Remastered is a thing if that's your thing.

Welcome back everyone to the Star Wars Time Show! In this week's show, we cover everything from comic books to some sweet little morsels from Episode IX. https://youtu.be/pXfJqUbR2Zs Matt and I kick off the show discussing two new comic series that were announced last week, Star Wars: Age of Rebellion and Star Wars: Tie Fighter. Both of these series take place in the original trilogy timeline, so if are looking for new OT material, your wish has been granted. Next up, we move into the barren wasteland of Star Wars video games. We give you some information on the newest legendary event in Star Wars Galaxy of Heroes; talk at length about another canceled Star Wars game, and we try to look at the bright side by looking forward to the potential 2019 release of the first AAA Star Wars game to come from EA that doesn't contain the word Battlefront, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order! This game could be the one that saves the license from being completely wasted by EA. After we finish out lamentation for the Star Wars video game universe, Matt and I briefly touch on a bit of controversy stemming from the release of a fantastic Darth Vader fan film. Then, we move on to a couple pieces of small Episode IX news from John Boyega and Adam Driver.
Help support us on Patreon: www.patreon.com/starwarscanonpodcast News - Mandalorian footage possibly coming to Celebration - Cover for Alexander Freed's "Alphabet Squadron" has been released - Marvel's "Star Wars: TIE Fighter" comic series has been announced - Adam Driver revealed that he was told where Episode 9 would end up at the end of the sequel trilogy Upcoming Canon - January 20th S1:E13 "Dangerous Business" - January 23rd Marvel's "Star Wars" #60 Mailbag Questions 1.) Kyler Knowles - Hey Brian, I love the channel keep up the great work. I was wondering what you would think if the main star wars comic went past empire strikes back and Luke was reading obi wan's journal about the old republic and have like a 25 issue run set during old republic era. With characters like revan and potentially bane. Thoughts? 2.) Fred Lambert - what's the deal with Disney claiming SWT's Vader fan film? personally i think its a dick move for disney and just goes to show they're in it for the money. what are your thoughts? 3.) Pete Goodman - hey brian, love the podcast! love listening to ya after listening to jedi council every week. keep it up. my question is when do you think we'll start seeing infor on rian johnson's trilogy and the series of films from the got showrunners? i'm ready for some big news from the film-side of things and can't wait to see what the films set in the old republic are going to look like! thank you and may the force be with you! 4.) Alex Waters - As of now is there any reason that SotE couldn't be brought back into canon as is? That's the only gap between films where there is absolutely nothing to watch or read? SotE was what got me into the old EU and its a great read. love the show brian. keep up the good work, and congrats on making top 25 sw podcasts! 5.) Shane Duncan - Cheers! Thanks for answering my question last week. My question this week concerns Marvel and Lucasfilm. I remember when Disney bought Lucasfilm and everyone was saying that Disney was going to turn SW around the way they did Marvel. Personally I don't believe they have turned it around as well as they have Marvel, but I can tell they're getting there. Why do you think this is? How can the same company make great Marvel films but bland SW movies? Thanks for what you do my man! This week we add another game to our Endless List of Games as we discuss one of the best Star Wars game of all time, TIE Fighter. The 1994 space flight simulator from LucasArts and Totally Games allowed us to give into into the hate and become a pilot in the Galactic Empire. Known as one of the best PC games of all time, where does it fit into our Endless List? Tune in to find out. You can find the complete Endless List on our Medium page.
Onimusha is back, so let's talk about our dream remakes. Dave wants the turn-based tactics of Shining Force to make a comeback, and Brendan is angry that Capcom have said nothing about Dino Crisis. There are other suggestions. A remake of Croc made by From Software? Why not. Gone Home redesigned from the ground up by Ubisoft? Uh, no thanks. Ret-ro. It’s story time this week as Justin, Cole, Ethan, Justin, and Christina relive the first games that they couldn’t put down. We hope you can handle the memories of Doom II, Zeldas, Castlevanias, and Metal Gears more tastefully than we could. Send in your questions to simon@horriblenight.com or @TheHorribleShow Just a warning to those listeners who can count, avoid it during this week’s show. We get a bit too excited about the classic games that sucked up all of our time growing up. Not before our Threesomes of the Week teach us proper guitar techniques. The On the Spot question asks “What game do you wish you spent more time with?” and Justin L reveals one of his darkest Zelda secrets. The Just 5 More Minutes conversation runs the gamut of classic franchises from Final Fantasy to Metal Gear, Civilization to Star Wars, and Castlevania to Diddy Kong? Classic is apparently a much looser term than we realized. Thankfully, FOX News tightens things up with their Worst Video Game in the World award. Hide ya kids.
