Según un reportaje publicado en Axios, las cifras de empleados que abandonan su puesto son especialmente reseñables en Montreal y Toronto, donde han renunciado más de 60 empleados en los últimos 18 meses. - Embracer Group expande su área hacia fuera de la industria del videojuego adquiriendo, entre otras cosas, al sello de cómics Dark Horse. Este gigante, que cuenta entre sus entre sus filas con compañías como THQ Nordic, Gearbox o Kochmedia —entre otros— está conformando un portfolio de lo más variopinto. - Pawel Sasko, diseñador de Cyberpunk 2077, afirma que el título no tiene persecuciones policiales por limitaciones técnicas. El problema es que en su defensa, señala que otros juegos como Sonic o Elden Ring no lo tienen, y que no pasa nada. - Battlefield 2042 podría haber tenido erupciones, terremotos y tsunamis, pero debido a las fechas de salida y los tiempos de desarrollo, tuvieron que centrarse en los tornados. Es ist mal wieder Zeit für einen "Zwischenruf". Darin geht es um diverse kleinere und größere Sachen. So gibt's Infos zumen aktuellen Stand des Podcasts, denn durch Arbeit, nahenden Uni-Abschluss und eben das alltägliche Leben ist der geplante monatliche Veröffentlichungsrhythmus wieder aus dem Tritt geraten. Anlass genug, vollmundig für Oktober zwei Ausgaben anzukündigen: Total Recall und Of Unkown Origin (aka Unheimliche Begegnung) haben wir ins Visier genommen. Des Weiteren ist September auch Seoultember. Natürlich nur echt mit letterboxd-Listen, Hashtag und dem kostenlosen Filmfestival "Korea Independent". Außerdem erscheint in der Serienoase zum Monatsende Carlis K-Drama-Binge in Seoul, in der Fragen zu ihrem Koreaaufenthalt beantwortet werden. Ein weiterer Punkt des Zwischenrufs sind die Kommentare in letzter Zeit, über die wir uns sehr freuen. Daher: Vielen Dank für eure Kommentare! Vage bis grob fällt der Ausblick für das nächste Kalenderjahr aus. Große Pläne stehen im Raum, wobei manches hoffentlich Realität wird. Deutlich klarer ist der Blick auf den Kino-Oktober: Max setzt auf Arbeit die LiWu-Schatzkiste mit Total Recall fort. Und als Halloween-Special gibt es The Howling - Das Tier zu sehen. Für den Novemeber ist in der LiWu-Schatzkiste zudem Komm und Sieh geplant - und damit auch ein Kandidat für eine WA-Folge... Eine ganz besondere Freude ist die Ankündigung des ersten Wiederaufführungs-Audiokommentars: Dank der Initiative von Patrikc Lohmeier (Bahnhofskino) gibt es von Max und ihm einen Kommentar zu Michael Manns Miami Vice. Die Blu-ray Edition erscheint am 14. Oktober in zwei Covervarianten von Koch Media. Die Cover sind exklusiv im Koch-Shop bzw. bei amazon erhältlich. Abschließend seien noch aufgenommene und - wahrscheinlich - bald erscheinende Filmpodcast-Gastspiele erwähnt. Max sprach bei den Abspannguckern über den DEFA-Indianerfilm Weiße Wölfe. Darum hat die große Spielemesse Electronic Entertainment Expo (kurz E3) wieder digital statt in Los Angeles stattgefunden. Doch kein Grund zum Verzagen, darin steckt eine Chance für unsere geliebten Indie-Developer. Wir blicken zurück auf vier Tage voller Streams, Events, Interviews und Neuigkeiten, resümieren unsere Eindrücke und sprechen über die Indie Game Highlights. Wir, das sind Benja, Nina, Malte und Christina - ganze 80% der Redaktion waren diesmal im Indie Game Podcast anwesend!
