If you're a regular listener to our podcast you will have noticed that we regularly discuss how we might deal with different topics that show up in the coaching room. This week we discussed working with coachees around meaning and purpose. Coachees may not always come to coaching asking for support on finding meaningful purpose, but often they'll talk about feeling stuck, feeling lost, or feeling as though they're in a bit of a rut. At these times a conversation around what their purpose is and what is meaningful to them can encourage them to generate some new thinking about what might add more meaningful purpose to their life. You might well have had times in your own life when you've had similar feelings and struggled to find a way through that time. Coaching conversations provide the perfect opportunity to open up this deeper thinking for the coachee. In this episode we explore the concepts of meaning, purpose, and meaningful purpose, and what elements might contribute to the notion of living a meaningful life. Enjoy the podcast? There are many thyroid ‘hot topics' once you start digging into thyroid health information. Which guru do you follow? What action do you take? How do you apply what you learn to your own unique health situation.I've been storing up a few of these hot topics for my guest Marek Doyle because I know he's all over the nuance. He understands the grey between the black and white. He's data driven and detail oriented. He's also incredibily generous with his time – this being the longest interview I've done and whilst I don't want to get into a habit of going over the hour, this was worth it!So, in this conversation we (meaning Marek!) tackle:Thyroid Antibodies Don't Matter (common medical perspective) and they don't cause destruction to the thyroid gland.Keto is great for thyroid health v keto is terrible for thyoid health.Low carb is great for thyroid health v you need carbs for production of T3 therefore low carb is bad.Fasting is a must for all health conditions (including not being a problem for thyroid patients) v fasting is too stressful and shouldn't be used by thyroid patients.Ozempic/semaglutitde is the new wonder drug for weight loss v Ozempic is next ‘I told you so' in 5 years time. There are many other thyroid hot topics, but I'll save them for another podcast! If you have any thyroid hot topics you'd like to find the nuance in, please let me know for a future episode!.Marek is a functional nutritional therapist who has spent the last 18 years building a model of personalized nutrition, based on the data of over 3,000 individual outcomes, 11,000 test results and extensive use of the scientific literature. Based in London, he offers one-to-one consultations for clients as well as training for practitioners. He holds an MSc in Personalised Nutrition (CNELM/Middlesex Uni), as well as a CertHE in Nutritional Medicine (UWL), a Diploma in Allergy and Environmental Therapy (BIAET) and a Diploma in Advanced Nutrition for Optimal Health (GB Fitness/BCMA).Connect with Marek:marekdoyle.comInstagram: @marekdoylenutrition-------Let's Talk Thyroid:WEBSITE: https://letstalkthyroid.com✅ Download your FREE Printable Thyroid Health Checklist:

A conversation with Claudia Hodgson, a Stage Manager turned Online Fitness Coach for backstage theatre professionals. Her TheatreFit program has helped backstage theatre professionals increase their energy, get fitter and drop unwanted body fat in a sustainable way to ensure it doesn't interfere (negatively) with their career. Topics: ⭐️ Finding exercises you enjoy ⭐️ Best time of day for working out ⭐️ Importance of eating 10g of fiber ⭐️ Health challenges for offstage workers ⭐️ How long it takes to establish a health routine ⭐️ Working out twice a week is better than not working out What we don't talk about is mental health. While the physical fitness is what we focus on today, it isn't a wholesome solution unless it is paired with mental health. According to the World Health Organization, good mental health is when you can: ⭐️ Work productively ⭐️ Realize your potential ⭐️ Contribute to the community ⭐️ Cope with normal stresses of life Physical fitness and a healthy diet can complement a balanced life. But the mental health has to be in good shape for a sustained healthy lifestyle. The Safest Place to Be Is In Your BodyToday our theme is “The Safest Place to Be Is In Your Body.” I offer a living teaching and a guided meditation to help you connect with all that is conscious and alive. The Safest Place to Be Is In Your Body honors and recognizes our connection to Mother Earth, Father Sun, and the Love that Sources us all. We will experience teachings and transmissions on embodied spirituality, our connection to all that is alive and whole. When we take refuge in our body, finding safety, harmony, and love in physical consciousness, there is no safer place to be on earth. Our body does not limit us; it is the holy grail of physical consciousness embodying all the qualities we attribute to the divine.Physicists and mystics agree: our body is a living expression of our consciousness. It is not an object that our spirit inhabits; it is a dimension of our consciousness. When we objectify our bodies, we objectify our self.Embracing our physical consciousness is not the same as saying, “I embrace my body.” We often see our body as a limitation, a handicap, something to escape. The path of embodied spirituality, becoming more embodied, involves sinking deeper into the consciousness of our body and accessing the cosmic love, harmony, and beauty flowing throughout. Total embodiment is the antidote to loneliness, illness, ignorance, and limitation; your beloved is with you always.Topics:Finding safety in physical consciousness by reuniting with Mother Earth and Father Sun.My first conversation with Mother Earth.Accessing high-freqeuncy energies through embodiment. The Central Axis and our Toroidal Field as our connection to the Infinite.Gaining balance and clearing illness, cloudy thinking, and overactive emotions through deeper embodiment.Guided Meditation: Part One. On episode 27 of the Montreal Marketeers podcast, we talk YouTube with Ali, aka Lucky Loush. Ali is one of the most energetic guests we've had on our podcast. It didn't come as a surprise to us when he mentioned that he couldn't simply "drink the Kool-Aid" and be satisfied with a regular 9 to 5 job. His desire to build something larger than himself led to the creation of the Lucky Loush YouTube channel. Ali's goal has always been to promote Lebanese culture. As a Lebanese Canadian, he feels that traditional media companies have a tendency to shine a negative light on the community that he holds so close to his heart. After trying different content creation approaches, he found his niche in reacting to Arabic music videos. At the time of recording this episode, Lucky Loush had about 1,000 YouTube subscribers . It took him over a year to reach this goal but his patience and perseverance is finally paying off. As of July 2018, he surpassed the 20,000 subscriber mark. Check out this week's episode of the Montreal Marketeers to find out more about building a YouTube community with Lucky Loush. Topics: - Finding your passion - Hacking culture - Playing the extremities - Relating to your audience - Taking game, adding value, and making it yours - Pivoting when necessary - Building a core audience - Staying true to yourself Montreal Marketeers Episode 27 is now live and available for download.
